Mooncutter
**I posted in the NOOB section but no one seems to have an answer** I'm having problems generating escapes even though my guys have a good amount of that skill. From the "ground hierarchy" pic it has to come from "agression", and is only affected by the "stand up" slider. I used to have 90% counter, 90% control, 35% get up (top and bottom). But I would also have stick position to "guard-top" which might have been an issue. Because it overrides any aggression while in that position. But even then I should be getting escapes from the bottom, and I'm not.
JakeF
Escapes are aggro moves, so setting high counter means less aggro moves at all.
pjrfin
Yeah, needs more aggression. 50/50 is pretty safe, but slide a bit more towards counter against very dangerous BJJ players who can pass your guard using their own counters. Against sub spammers you could go more aggro yourself. Also, up that escape %, way up like 80% at least. If you want your moves to be primarily escapes, go for escapes. But leave some chance for sweeps. I'm no expert though. But I'm getting a few escapes here and there.
Guest
From my experience, spamming escapes also leaves you open to subs, so defensive grappling is still a must.

Yeah I thought 10% was enough but doesn't seem so. I'll try 20% and see what happens.
