ICE 7: IONTACH PREVIEW

Welcome all to the preview show for ICE 7 which will be held on December 11th in London at Hayashi's Lounge. You will hear a bit about the fights and my prediction for each of them. And if I'm wrong feel free to have your fighter call my a** out on it.

The first fight of the night has newcomer in the 170 pound division, Cestmir Cejka an 18 year old boxer from the Czech Republic taking on London's own Gog Cox 19 year old well rounded 1-0. Cejka is fighting out of the Brioh gym camp in Helsinki. So definitely be looking for this talented young boxer to start rounding out his game. Cox is fighting out London MMA gym and we be looking to show that he even though he is well rounded he still improves everytime he steps into the cage.

Prediction: Gog Cox by ground and pound. I just think he is a little too well rounded right now for Cejka.

The second fight of the night is a scheduled 265 pound fight between two 18 year old mma veterans Murfum Orcarm 1-1 and Felix Silver 2-0. Orcarm is fighting out Rooster's Coop in Las Vegas. Orcarm appears so far to be looking to use his wrestling to become the next godfather  of ground and pound. Silver is a well rounded fighter and striker fighting out Cozad in Hilo. Hopefully he will be looking to get into a better gym soon. One thing is is certain in this one rather its on the feet or ground someone is getting KO'd.

Prediction: Orcarm by ground and pound. I think the wrestling is going to be the key in this one.

The third fight of the night should be a fight on the main card most nights is another 265 pound brawl between the 25 year old 1-1 Nigerian Ismat Usman and 25 year old 4-1 American Jonny Bravo. Usman is an average wrestler who uses his wrestling in Randy Couture type of way and that is to keep the fight standing to use his boxing. Bravo who uses his incredible boxing to drop his opponents and all wins coming by submission. This has all the makings of one barn burner of a big man fight.

Prediction: Flips coin and it's Usman by KO.

The fourth fight of the night is a 205 pound fight against 2 18 year old fighters looking to make a name for themselves with a win over the other. Sam Vatubua 1-1 the Samoan wrestling striker and Mister ToYou 2-1 Afghanistan kickboxing sensation. It will be interesting to see if Vatubua plans to use his wrestling in his typical fashion for this one.

Prediction: ToYou by KO.

The fifth and final fight of the undercard is a 185 pound fight between 2 25 year old fighters that promises to be the classic striker versus grappler battle. The Kickboxer an 0-1 kickboxer from Bulgaria takes on Killian Andrew a 4-1 grappler from Czech Republic. Kickboxer will be looking to utilize his range and get the KO and Andrew will be looking to get this fight to the ground in a hurry.

Prediction: Andrew by submission.

The sixth fight and first fight on the main card is another 185 pound fight and classic striker versus grappler match but between a 18 and 19 year old fighters. Aidan Hall an 0-1 wrestling striker fighter from Jamaica and Keenan Downing a 2-1 bjj specialist. Hall will be looking to use his wrestling to keep it on the feet and punish Downing into submission and Downing will be looking to take it to the ground any way possible and get the submission. Whoever executes wins this one.

Prediction: Hall by KO.

The second fight on the main card is a 170 pound fight between 2 25 year old fighters. Jeremy Hiller the American well rounded fighter with 2-0 record proving just that with 1 KO and 1 Submission versus Matt Jackson the striking wrestler with a 0-2 record looking to make both guys 0 go. The smart money would look to be on Hiller given the record but can't count Jackson out.

Prediction: Jackson by KO.

The third fight on the main card is a 155 pound fight between 2 25 year old combatants. Levi Fleming a 2-2 striker from America against Adalberto Soria a striking grappler from Argentina making his debute. Fleming has every striking trick in the book but how does he fair going against striking bjj brown belt not much is known about time will tell.

Prediction: Soria by submission.

The Co-Main Event of the eveninnngg is a 135 pound bout between 2 25 year old fighters. We have the Spaniard Juan Heredia an 0-3 kickboxer against Thailand undefeated 2-0-1 Muay Thai fighter Arthit Jitmuangnon. Heredia will be looking to get his first win which won't come easy as Jitmuangnon will be looking to keep his undefeated streak alive the Muay Thai skills to certainly get the job done.

Prediction: Jitmuangnon by KO

And NOW the MOOOMMENT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WAAAIIITTTING FOr the MAIN EVENT OF Thee EVENING a 185 pound fight between 2 25 year old American fighters Nick Jackson the 1-0 grappler versus Booker Tillman 1-1 true MMA fighter about as well rounded as they come. Jackson has that D-1 wrestling talent to go with purple belt in bjj will be looking to take this fight to the ground and get the submission or win by ground and pound and certainly has the wrestling to do just that. Tillman will be looking to defend the takedowns and work the striking game from a distance in this one but is no slouch on the ground himself.

Prediction: And STILL undefeated Jackson by ground and pound.

Murfum Orcarm is greatly looking forward to making his debut at ICE 7 against a tough Fighter Felix Silver. Murfum is very confident that his superior ground game with his wonderful ground and pound will give Felix his first L. Currently training out off gym Rooster Coop Murfum has greatly improved on his Conditioning and strength in this camp, At a young age he hopes to catch up to the older fighters in the division and become a top contender in IC&E heavy weight division.

ICE 7: Iontach Review

ICE 7: Iontach took place on December 11th 2021 at the Iconic Hayashi's Lounge in London in front of 1088 fans. There was 5 count it that is right 5 fights that fans raved about rating the fights enjoyable by all 1088 fans. So true to their word Nutritional Shaved Ice gave out 4 Berry REL 159.6Q to 10 fighters as a bonus for the highly rated fights. Other awards to note KO of the night went to Cestmir Cejka taking home a $5k bonus and an extra $1k from our sponsor, Sub of the night went to Adalberto Soria landing an Americana in just 18 seconds taking home a $5k bonus and an extra $1k from our sponsor, and Fight of the night went to Matt Jackson and Jeremy Hiller landing both fighters a $5k bonus and an additional $1k from our sponsors. No shout out bonuses were given on the night. Now let's get to a bit of the reviews.

The Main-Event of the evening lasted just 52 seconds as Ismat Usman got a TKO victory over Jonny Bravo. It opened up with a few seconds into the round usman landing a 1-2 combo that sent Bravo tumbling to the canvas and quickly jumping on him into side control. When we got to see a bit of his face it appeared as he got cut we couldn't tell which caused the cut but immediately it looked like Bravo was already winded this short into the fight. Usman then missed a few strikes from side control. Not sure how that happened but it is what it is. And finally Usman lands something in side control and then goes to unload and the ref jumped in fast to stop it and protect the fighter.

The Co-Main Event saw Killian Andrew submitting The Kickboxer in just 23 seconds with an armbar an impressive feat and more than submission of the night worthy any other night but real hard to top a sub 20 second submission. The bell tolls and right away Kickboxer throws a head kick that misses and Andrew uses that land a beautiful double leg takedown right into side control. Then Andrew immediately went for an arm triangle and Kickboxer tried to defend against it and Andrew saw it brilliantly and transitioned it to an armbar and that was all she wrote.

REST OF THE RESULTS:

Cestmir Cejka KO over Gog Cox in 20 seconds.

Booker Tillman TKO over Nick Jackson in 28 seconds.

Matt Jackson TKO over Jeremy Hiller in 3rd round 48 seconds in.

Mister ToYou Submission over Sam Vatubua in 1:26 seconds.

Arthit Jitmuangnon TKO over Juan Heredia in 2nd round 22 seconds in.

Adalberto Soria Submission over Levi Fleming in 18 seconds.

Felix Silver Submission over Murfum Orcarm in 4:18 seconds.

Keenan Downing Submission over Aidan Hall in 2nd round 4:56 seconds in.

ICE 8: Cloigh Preview:

The event is being held in London on December 18th at the legendary Hard Knocks with a max seating capacity of 3,000. This event has not 1 not 2 but 3 that's right count them 3 title fights. So buy your tickets while you still can. Now let's get down to business and no I'm not going to make a man out of you and we aren't going to defeat the Hun.

First fight of the evening is a 265 pound contest between Kamal "The Black Pharoah" Quahaar 19 year old 2-1 mixed martial artist and Sukhothai "(Don't know how to pronounce it)" Jitmuangnon an 18 year old 1-2 Muay Thai fighter. Both men coming off a loss. It will be interesting to see how they look and bothered by their losses they will be. But either way look for some leather to fly in this one.

Prediction: Quahaar by KO.

Second fight of the evening is a 205 pound fight between Olof "Rusty" Hell a 20 year old 1-2 mixed martial artist and Rengar "Trinity" Tritty a 19 year old 0-1 boxer and bjj practitioner. Just like the last fight both of these men are coming off a loss and will see if that has an effect on either.

Prediction: Tritty by KO

Third fight of the night is a 155 pound fight between Roger Mesquita a 18 year old 1-1 bjj standout and Killian "The Kid" Koskinen a 19 year old 1-1 mixed martial artist. Mesquita will be looking to get this fight to the ground by any means necessary and Koskinen will be looking to keep it standing by any means necessary.

Prediction: Koskinen by KO

Fourth fight of the evening is another 265 pound fight. This one between Henry "Casper Catcher" Dustfinger an 18 year old 1-0 a pickup from RISE and is a wrestler and a striker against Kordell Melvin making his professional debut he is an 18 year old boxer. Dustfinger was raised on a cattle ranch in Wyoming and is rancher cowboy tough. Melvin let's see what it says here during a freshman football game got mad and knocked out 17 players and 2 coaches from Clovis West. I strongly question the validity of this story.

Prediction: Dustfinger by KO

The final fight on the prelims is a 135 pound fight between Kotaro Asakura an 18 year old 1-0 Japanese Kickboxer and Ben Hornby an 18 year old 1-1 boxer. This one promises to be an action packed barn burner and should be the perfect fight to get the fans pumped up and a dark horse for fight of the night.

Prediction: Asakura by Decision

First fight on the main card is a 265 pound fight between Jonathan Pearce an 18 year old 0-2 striker against "Menace" Xander Scott a 17 year old 1-0 street fighter. Pearce will be looking to jump in and prove the haters wrong about him and turn the 17 year old away. Scott a gangbanger out of Chi-town will be looking to get in there and just brawl and make it a short night.

Prediction: Scott by KO

The second fight on the main card is a 170 pound fight between Kenneth "Dog" Hell a 22 year old 1-2 boxing grappler and Eusebio "Caporal" Mamani a 25 year old boxer and wrestler. Hell coming off 2 straight losses will be looking to try something a bit different and get back on track  and Mamani will be looking to keep his unbeaten record alive and has the wrestling and footwork to do just that.

Prediction: Mamani by Decision

The first title of the evening is a 265 pound fight between the champion Jeff Nash 1-0 25 year old and Angel "Squizo" Childress 4-0 23 year old boxing wrestler. Nash as you all know brings professional level boxing and high school level wrestling and is a hard hitting beast dismantling his last opponent Ismat Usman in just 59 seconds for the belt. Childress even though he is making his IC&E debut in the title fight he is one of the most battle tested fighters in the organization freshly coming off the regional scene after winning an mma tournament knocking out all his opponents.

Prediction: Childress by KO

The second title fight of the evening is a 155 pound match between champion Phillip "The Light Of Germany" Morningstar 2-0 26 year old and "Jugular" Junior Johnson 3-1  24 year old. Morningstar as you all know  takes his fights the distance using his high school level wrestling to keep the fight standing and using his fancy boxing footwork to dance around and pepper his opponents with his crisp job. Johnson is a true grappler combining his Judo and his purple belt in bjj to get all his wins by submission. And all 3 coming by a different way.

Prediction: Johnson by Submission

The final title fight of the evening is a 185 pound fight between well rounded 3-0 25 year old Ivar Kvick and champion 2-0 25 year old Super Special. Kvick uses his mastery in all arts to wear out his opponents wherever the fight might go and impose his will. The champion Special as you know uses his boxing and heavy hands to quickly destroy his opponents and his wrestling to keep it standing.

Prediction: Special by KO

ICE 8: CLOIGH REVIEW:

We had another great night as we had 2611 roaring fans in attendance for the triple crowning. 2 fights on the card had full approval by the fans for the action and all 4 fighters got their free supplements thanks to our sponsor. We also saw Angel Childress get KO of the night, Junior Johnson get submission of the night and Junior Johnson as well as Phillip Morningstar received fight of the night. Let's get down and see what unfolded.

The main fight had Ivar Kvick and Super Special fight for the 185 pound strap. First round showed Kvick getting the takedown and basically landing ground and pound at will. Second round was more of the same but Kvick rocked and hurt him bad towards the end of the round but then wasted time going for a few failed submissions while he had Special hurt. Round 3 saw Special coming out landing everything but the kitchen sink on Kvick. Not sure if his survivor mode kicked in from being pummeled for 2 rounds or if it just woke him up. Round 4 and the final round looked just like Rounds 1 and 2 Kvick getting the quick takedown and punishing with the ground and pound after 4:58 into the round with just 2 seconds left to go the ref finally decided he had seen enough. For your winner by TKO Kvick.

The co-main and fight of the night was between Junior Johnson and Phillip Morningstar. Round one took place almost entirely on the feet and Morningstar cut Johnson open early and demolished him for almost all of round 1. Looked like it was going to be a very easy night for Morningstar. Round 2 rings and Johnson gets an immediate takedown and Morningstar kicks him off and jumps up like he was in action movie and threw a head kick right after to be put right back down. Johnson tried a few submissions and couldn't get one so he looked to pass the guard and finally got full mount and started working for the triangle choke and made him answer the phone. It was all over after that. Winner by submission Johnson.

The 3rd title fight was for the 365 pound belt between Jeff Nash and Angel Childress. It was such a short fight I think the only way to sum up what happened is Nash got cut, dropped, and then knocked out. Winner by KO Childress.

Eusebio Mamani wins via submission due to strikes over Kenneth Hell

Xander Scott wins via KO Jonathan Pearce

Kotaro Asakura wins via unanimous decision over Ben Hornby

Henry Dustfinger wins via KO Kordell Melvin

Killian Koskinen wins via KO Roger Mesquita

Rengar Trittys wins via TKO Olof Hell

Kamal Quahaar wins via submission Sukhothai Jitmuangnon

I am saddened that I did indeed have to close ICE (kind of maybe). I really loved working with the managers there and building a great future for many young fighters, but for whatever reason, I just couldn't get enough young fighters to come on board and take contracts. I am pretty sure I was offering the biggest ones to be had at that level, but fighters were taking less to fight at other 378K+ orgs. I was doing my best to create even, fair matches and work with the managers, but who knows?

I am not certain that I am going to close ICE. I made a deal and I think it was best for the fighters on my rooster and for Caged Dragons. I think Cage Dragons has the potential to be a great, long-term org.

I am considering transitioning ICE to a veterans org, for the guys with no hype and pop that the others orgs don't want. I'll give out bigger contracts and try and create an environment where talented fighters that got off to a bad start, or are maybe late bloomers can come and get a second chance and rebuild their careers to go on to the bigger shows.

I really do appreciate the great managers that I got the chance to work with in ICE's short run as an org for new fighters.

Thanks to you all,

CC
