ROF 14 - Makili ka no'ono'o

Featherweight Division
Jay Penn (2-3-0) v Oscar Roberts (1-1-0)
Penn is coming off two consecutive losses and hasn't won since joining ROF. Looking to advance to 3-3 and secure his first ROF victory, Penn will have to go through Oscar Roberts. Making his ROF debut, Roberts brings a 1-1 record to the fight Penn is the more rounded fighter and can win the fight wherever he wants to. Roberts has the slight edge in punch technique, but he will need to land some solid blows early and keep the fight at a distance, if he is to have a shot at winning.

Middleweight Division
Paul McIntosh (3-1-0) v Otto Kealoha (1-1-0)
Both fighters suffered their only loss in their last fight and looking to turn things around. The combined four wins of the fighters all came by way of decision, but neither fighter wants to leave it in the judges' hands. Kealoha needs to take the fight to the ground, as he simply cannot stand and bang with McIntosh. Paul McIntosh is not completely helpless on the ground, both fighters have a Blue Belt, but Kealoha's wrestling background gives him the advantage on the mat. Look for McIntosh to end Kealoha's night early and climb back up toward contention in the Middleweight Division.

Featherweight Division
Robert Glenn (2-1-0) v Mickey Lao (2-1-0)
Both Featherweights bring a 2-1 record into the fight, but only Lao is coming off a win. These two Blue Belts like to clinch, with Glenn being the more aggressive fighter. Lao has been effective from distance, and Glenn will surely look to close the gap, which will allow Lao to counter and pick his battles. This fight should stay standing, but if it does find the ground, Glenn should be the more active fighter. Both fighters have shown decent GnP ability with a splattering of submission attemps. With their third win on the line, these two fighters will put on an entertaining fight for the fans. If he fights smart, Lao should take home the victory, but Glenn is a very capable fighter and far from out of contention.

Bantamweight Division
Luca Lindholm (2-1-0) v Bee Peeen (2-1-0)
Another matchup of Blue Belts with 2-1 records, this time in the Bantamweight Division, is slated as the fourth fight on the card. These two fighters like to stand and bang at distance. If the fight goes to the ground, they both favor GnP. Lindholm mixes punches and kicks, but is far more effective with his Muay Thai. Peeen has strong boxing technique and is the superioir grappler, if he can avoid Lindholm's high kicks, he should take the victory with ease. If not, it could only be one kick to the head that ends his night early.

Welterweight Division
Sinya Asaki (1-2-0) v Dennis Turcotte (1-1-0)
With the two previous fights of the card being standup specialists, this fight will be a ground war. Turcotte's Purple Belt overshadows Asaki's Blue Belt, but Asaki has an extremely well rounded ground game. Favoring GnP, Asaki will try to beat his opponent down, while Turcotte will wrestle for control and lock in a submission. As with most contests of this nature, it is hard to predict who will put their opponent out early. Turcotte will need to submit Asaki, if he is to win this fight. With both fighters' only win coming via decision, and their losses coming from KO, Asaki is the logical choice to win this fight. Asaki should land more strikes, giving him more opportunity to end the fight early, and he has vastly superior wrestling ablity, which should allow him to control the action on the ground and win each round on the scorecards.

Featherweight Division
Crag Smith (1-1-0) v Gabriel Bemejo (1-1-0)
After winning their debut, both fighters in this matchup lost their second fight. Bemejo likes to keep his hands active and does have a first round knockout under his belt. Smith would be best served to get this fight to the ground and use his superior wrestling ability to control the fight and work on submitting his opponent. Smith will need to counter his opponent's strikes and wait for his openings, while Bemejo will try to stay outside and keep his opponent off-balance. Popping shots and keeping distance is key for Bemejo, but he needs to be aware of Smith's advances. Providing that both Smith and Bemejo fight smart, look for another decision victory for Smith.

Light Heavyweight Division
Brad Johnson (4-1-0) v Frederick Comodore (3-0-0)
A big fight in the Light Heavyweight Division. Brad Johnson dominated the Division and earned his chance for the vacant title. In the fourth round of the fight, Johnson saw the title slip from his grasp when he was forced to tap by Freddy Lee's choke. Johnson returns from that loss in his first step in climbing back to the top. His opponent, Frederick Comodore, has title aspirations of his own, however. Comodore hasn't been mentioned among possible contenders, but a win here could quickly change that. Undefeated in his first three fights, Comodore has shown amazing Muay Thai strikes and has knocked out every one of his opponents in the first round. A win here is equally important for both fighters, Comodore has the power to knock Johnson out and may be favored in the fight, but Johnson is very smart and will pull out the upset. Comodore is a head hunter and has powerful kicks, Johnson will look to counter and use his speed to take the fight to the ground, where he will dominate from mount and GnP Comodore as long as his chin will allow. It may only take one kick to end Johnson's night, but one thing is certain, a loss for either fighter will not result from lack of effort.

Light Heavyweight Division
Kevin Jade (3-0-0) v Mario Turk (4-0-0)
Another fight with big implications in the Light Heavyweight Division features two undefeated fighters. Mario Turk has been mentioned among top contenders in the Division and Jade is one big win from consideration. These two fighters are standup warriors who have demolished anyone in their path. Jade has been impressive and needs a big win to solidify his standing, but perhaps has bitten off more than he can chew in this matchup. Jade has all of the upside and will desperately try to knock Turk out, but Turk is bigger, stronger, more technical, and slightly more experienced. Both Blue Belts, maybe Jade feels that he can win on the ground, but Turk has shown some great wrestling skills. Turk has devastating knees in the clinch, which Jade has no answer for. Jade will need to pop a lucky shot early and try to capitalize, before Turk gets rolling toward his fifth win.

Middleweight Division
Jimmy Lange Jnr (3-1-0) v Kristo Napz (3-1-0)
This battle between Middleweights features two fighters that are at the bottom of the contenders list. A big win here, followed by a win against a top contender may just land them a shot at the vacant title, but they cannot look that far ahead. Preparing for the fight at hand, there is no doubt that the fight has big implications and the fighters will need to remain focused. Lange won his first three fights by submission before losing to, top two contender, Teddy Payne. Lange is a ground warrior and Payne was quick to stymie his takedown attempts and grind out a unanimous decision. Napz will certainly be watching film of that battle, in preparation, because Lange will surely look to take Napz down to expose his White Belt. Napz brings in an impressive record and will look to make his ROF debut in spectacular fashion. Napz is a very aggressive and accurate Muay Thai striker who kicks with power. Napz will look to stay at distance and stuff Lange's takedowns, but may need to stray from his usual gameplan. Napz is more successful with defensive takedowns, but Lange has a Purple Belt and can win from bottom position. Lange will have to withstand Napz's GnP, but if the fight hits the mat, a Lange victory will not be far off.

Heavyweight Division
Gaylord Butts (3-2-0) v General Zod (6-4-0)
The Main Event of the Night features two fighters who have a well rounded standup game and are among the top contenders for the vacant Heavyweight Title. Both fighter excel in the clinch, but Zod may be better served to keep the fight at distance. Butts has a Purple Belt and if the gap is closed, it may only be a matter of time before the fight goes to the ground. Zod may still try to clinch and look to take advantage of his opponent's approach, but it may still be a bad decision. When Butts controls the clinch, he relies upon his knees and defensively, he prefers to work his hands. If Zod can control and counter, he will have somewhat of an advantage, but the peril lies in his ability to defend Butts' takedowns. Zod brings a distinct advantage in experience to the cage and will use his wits and preparation to end the fight early, which will be necessary to keep his White Belt from being exploited. Look for Zod to work an aggressive attack at distance and use body shots to wear his opponent down, while mixing his strikes to deliver crushing blows upstairs. If he can keep his balance, fend off the takedown attempts, and strike effectively, look for Zod to wear down his opponent and pull off his seventh victory while reaffirming his contender status.

A promising card with exciting matchups and big implications in the Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight Divisions is set to unfold. With a lot on the line in the scheduled fights, fight fans will be rewarded with some spectacular finishes in each of the 10 fights on the card. The table is set and the fighters are busy preparing, when the dust settles, we will see how the Divisions shape up from another great ROF Event - ROF's 14 - Makili ka no'ono'o.

ICON Superfights VII - Hilo, Hawaii

MAIN EVENT

ICON WORLD LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Emile Hainesburg vs. Pavel Katasanov

Two lightweight juggernauts in Hainesburg and Katasanov are set to square off for the ICON Lightweight Championship of the world in the main event of the evening. Hainesburg had the seemily easier road to the finals dispatching an over matched Jay Penn and putting away the one dimensional grappler in Dick Grayson. While Katasanov decsioned the ever resilient Juan Escobar and needed 4 rounds to put away the well rounded Heydar Aliyev. This match is of epic proportions not only for ICON but the world of MMATYCOON as the winner of this fight will be deemed one of the best Lightweights in the world.

Emile Hainesburg (12-1) is currently riding a 12 fight win streak where he has put away every one of his opponents who stood in his path. He's an extremely well rounded fighter boasting a decorated wrestling background and a brown belt in BJJ. Even with such a great grappling background, Hainesburg has very heavy hands putting away 9 of his opponents with strikes in the first round. It seems that he can win this fight where ever he likes and it'll be interesting to see where he takes the bout.

Pavel Katasanov (10-0) is the undefeated ICON Kings of Rio Lightweight champion who has finished 9 of his 10 victims. He is primarily an excellent boxer but also has impressive grappling skills and even holds his Purple belt in BJJ. Katasanov has the grappling skills to hang with a high caliber grappler in Hainesburg, but don't bet on him finishing him with a submission. He will want to keep this fight standing where he has the clear cut advantage on paper. This fight is one of the toughest fights to call in Tycoon history.

On paper, Hainesburg has the slight edge in the grappling department and can earn the coveted title with a submission. Katasanov has the upper hand in the boxing department and can remain undefeated by keeping it standing. It may seem that each fighter has a clear cut advantage in a certain area but they have both shown all around skills that have been battle tested. The experts are split between the two fighters so we will just have to wait and see who will pull out with a victory.

CO MAIN EVENT

ICON MIDDLEWEIGHT TOURNAMENT SEMI FINALS

Rufus Lee vs. Antonio Santiago

If the ICON owners had their way these two incredible fighters, Rufus Lee and Antonio Santiago, would be headlining in the finals of the ICON Middleweight tournament. But, with the luck of the draw these two fighters are set to tango in the semi finals as the Co-Main Event of ICON RoF's Superfight VII. Lee dispatched the brash Frankie Simpleton with strikes in the opening round of the tournament and Santiago submitted Marco Ruas with a Rear Naked Choke in his opening round match up. Winner of this match should be the clear cut favorite to become the first ever ICON Middleweight Champion of the World.

Rufus Lee (12-2) is the feared striker hailing from Los Angeles, California and is the current ICON New Era Assassins Middleweight Champion. He is currently ridding a 9 fight win streak where he has put away every opponent with strikes. Lee has the grappling skills to keep this fight standing and can also hold his own defensively on the ground. Everybody knows that Lee will want to keep this fight standing where he can utilize his heavy hands to try and decapitate his opponent.

Antonio Santiago (12-1) is the Brazilian native who currently holds the ICON: Revolution Middleweight championship. He has had a decorated career with his only loss coming by decision. Santiago is a well rounded fighter who favors the ground as he holds a Brown belt in BJJ. He has the striking skills to compete with a strike like Lee, but he is much safer on the ground where he neutralizes Lee's greatest weapons.

This should be a highly exciting match up as both men have the finishing skills that dazzle the fans. It will come down to who can impose their game plan. If Lee can't put away Santiago early then he open up the chance for Santiago to drag this to the ground where he can utilize his superior ground skills to secure the victory. Expect both fighters to have the fight of their careers as they both have the skill sets to bring the best out of each other. Whoever survives this battle will no doubt be pegged the favorite to win the entire tournament.

ICON MIDDLEWEIGHT TOURNAMENT SEMI FINALS

John Locke vs. Lei Wulong

The other two ICON Middleweight tournament semi finalists are just as dangerous as their counter parts. John Locke is the undefeated prospect representing ICON Ring of Fire and Lei Wulong is the former Warrior's FC middleweight champion. This should be an interesting match up as both fighters have the clear cut advantage in their respective areas.

John Locke (6-0) is the feared BJJ Black belt who has put away all of his opponents with submissions. He has been diligently rounding out his MMA skills but it's obvious his bread and butter is his ground game. He faces a stiff test in Lei Wulong, who will definitely test his chin. He can end this one quickly and continue his undefeated streak by bringing this fight to the ground.

Lei Wulong (9-1) is the well rounded MMA fighter who has the skills to win wherever he seems fit. However, he will be smart to avoid any ground interactions with Locke. He must use utilize his wrestling skills to keep this fight standing where he can use his superior striking skills to crush Locke.

This fight will be determined in the wrestling and grappling departments. If Wulong can't stop Locke's takedown then Locke can easily utilize his superior ground skills to score a submission. If Wulong is successful on keeping it standing then he will have the opportunity to display his diverse striking skills and make Locke look like a busted up pinata.

ICON HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT

Bjorn Kjellstrom vs. Igor Kilimov

This first round matchup of the ICON Heavyweight tournament features two dangerous champions in Bjorn Kjellstrom (8-0) and Igor Kilimov (8-3). It seems like this fight will remain standing as Kjellstrom doens't possess the wrestling to bring this fight to the ground and Kilimov doesn't have the grappling experience to contest with Kjellstrom's Purple belt in BJJ. The stand up heavily favors Kjellstrom has he has the huge advantage in boxing experience. It seems that Kilimov's only hope is to catch Kjellstrom off guard and score a flash knockout.

ICON HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT

Thomas Overbury vs. Perry Cox

Thomas Overbury (5-0) looks to remain undefeated against the highly experienced Perry Cox (8-3) in another round one match up of the ICON Heavyweight tournament. Overbury is the ICON:TMP Heavyweight champion and has an impressive sprawl and brawl style. Perry Cox represents ICON New Era Assassins and is a very well rounded MMA fighter. This fight is expected to be mainly fought on the feet where both fighters have similar experience in the boxing department. Even though Cox has the edge on the ground this fight will be determined on the feet.

ICON HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT

Xavier Gracie vs. Ashur Perun

ICON RoF's very own heavyweight standout, Xavier Gracie (5-1), looks to have his hands full against the experienced ICON Kings of Rio representative, Ashur Perun (6-3). This should be a tough fight for both fighters as they both rely heavily on their boxing abilities where Ashur has the slight edge. However, Gracie can nutralize that advantage if he can bring this fight to the mat and show off his rarely used BJJ abilities. This should be a very highly contested bout with the winner being the fighter who can withstand the others punching power.

ICON HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT

Yuudai Ryuu vs. Alex Jones

Young Tokyo prospect, Yuudai Ryuu (4-1), looks to prove his heavyweight prowess agasint LA standout, Alex Jones (8-3), in the final round one match up of the ICON Heavyweight tournament. Ryuu is a complete fighter with tremendous striking ability. Alex Jones is LA's wild card selection and has a impressive submission resume. On paper, this looks to be Ryuu's fight to lose as he has the huge edge in every important category. Expect Ryuu to rebound from a prior loss and put away Jones with strikes.

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT

Albert Rodriguez vs. Shogun Silva

Shogun Silva (3-1) and Albert Rodriguez (2-2) both look to rebound from defeats in their last fights in a light heavyweight bout. This should be a highly contested bout on the feet as both fighters are experienced muay thai fighters. However, Silva has branched out his striking skills and developed a respectable boxing game while Rodriguez has been drilling his takedown defense techniques. Whoever can implement their gameplan on the feet will walk away the winner in this fight.

FEATHERWEIGHT BOUT

Kam Johnson vs. Hilo von Weichlinghammer

Kam Johnson (2-0) looks to stay undefeated against Hilo von Weichlinghammer (1-0) in a featherweight bout of the evening. Both fighters favor the ground game but that plays into von Wichlinghammer's favor. He has better wrestling and holds a purple belt in BJJ opposed to Johnson's blue belt. If Johnson can score sweeps and hold top control he can come away with the victory. If not, von Weichlinghammer can add another submission victory to his resume.

BANTAMWEIGHT BOUTIndo Mc Stricker vs. Pen Pen Indo Mc Stricker (1-1) and Pen Pen (1-0) open the event in a bantamweight fight. This is the classic grappler vs striker match up with Mc Stricker playing the role as the grappler and Pen Pen being the superior striker. If Mc Striker can't get this fight to the ground he'll be in for a long night against Pen Pen. Expect these two young bantamweights to put on one hell of a show to open up the card.

I don't get how Lei Wulong gets no respect in this tourny. I as a manager haven't been subbed since creed vs gracie and that was october 26th with any of my fighters. But personally I think its gonna be Wulong and santiago in the finals. I have faced santiago before I know he's got a great chin Cage couldn't finish him. I by no means am counting locke out as well he is the manager of kron gracie who was the last guy to sub me so if anyone is gonna do it it would be him (chuck).

If I had some odds for the semi's it would be Lee -115, santiago +115

Wulong -165, Locke +165

The finals will be close no matter what the matchup. All the fighters are pretty even. 4 losses between 4 fighters isn't a lot. I don't think you can count anyone really out. I just want to Wulong respect hell I wouldn't made some locke respect just seems like the winner is being crowned between lee and santiago and they still have a fight after ;) lol

ICON Superfights VII - Hilo, Hawaii: Ring of Fire Holds Groundbreaking Event...

Hilo, HI (TAP) - The champagne is flowing in celebration as ICON and Ring of Fire held one of the top ten best events in Tycoon history. ICON Ring of Fire has now become the second most hyped organization in the world with this historic event. Fans filled The Pipeline arena in Hilo and enjoyed 10 action packed fights that included the inaugural ICON Heavyweight tournament, the semi finals of the ICON Middleweight tournament, and capped off the ICON Lightweight tournament.

One of the most anticipated lightweight match ups occurred in the main event as Pavel Katasonov took on Emile Hainesburg to determine the ICON Lightweight Champion of the World. Both fighters came into the fight riding huge win streaks and it was about time that one of them was put to an end. The action started quickly between the two fighters as they opened up cuts on one another. The rapid pace continued as Hainesburg rocked Katasonov with a crisp punch combination. The still wobbly, Katasonov, gutted through the pain but could not stop a takedown by Hainesburg. From there, Hainesburg looked for an armbar but Katasonov easily avoided the submission and took top control. Out of no where Hainesburg landed a beautiful switch that saw him land into mount and it was all but over from there. Hainesburg rained down heavy shots from mount and finished Katasonov by knockout at 4:33 of the first round. With such a spectacular finish, Hainesburg earns Knockout of the Night honors and the coveted ICON Lightweight Championship of the World.

The Co-Main Event of the evening saw Antonio Santiago get one step closer to the ICON World Middleweight Title in his semi final match up against Rufus Lee. Santiago stayed patient as Rufus Lee looked for the one punch knockout and easily scored with a counter takedown. For the remainder of the round Lee was kept busy fending off multiple submission attempts from Santiago. The second and rounds saw much of the same action as Lee failed to land any significant strikes and Santiago looking for the finish with a submission. Santiago continued his dominance in the fourth round as he made Lee look foolish missing with numerous punches. Late in the round Santiago scored with yet another takedown and worked quickly for a submission. Santiago secured an arm and worked diligently for a kimura finding the finished at 4:05 of the fourth round. Antonio Santiago moves on to the ICON Middleweight finals.

The undercard also featured the other semi final fight of the ICON Middleweight Tournament which saw Lei Wulong be the first one to stop John Locke. Their was little doubt that if this fight stayed on the feet it would have been Wulong's fight to lose so Wulong made the most of it and battered the BJJ Blackbelt the entire fight. Wulong rocked Locke early in the fight and it was all down hill from there for John Locke. Even after scoring multiple knockdowns their was plenty of fight in Locke as Wulong looked to finish with a barrage of strikes. The end came in the fourth round when Wulong crumpled Locke with a two punch combination and followed up with strike for the TKO finish at 4:41 of the fourth round.

In other tournament action, Bjorn Kjellstrom extended his win streak to 9 with his submission victory over Igor Kilimov. Kjellstrom blitz Kilimov early in the first after rocking him with a crisp right hand. Kilimov looked to be in trouble on the ground but somehow managed to get back up to his feet and out of danger at the end of the first round. In the second Kilimov tried to battle back but his effort was in vain as Kjellstrom dropped him with a huge uppercut. Kjellstrom worked quickly and worked an opening to finish off Kilimov with an arm triangle submission at 1:01 of the second round.

Thomas Overbury and Perry Cox battled back and fourth for the entire duration of the fight in their ICON Heavyweight tournament match up. These two warriors traded strikes back and fourth but it seemed Cox was getting off the stronger shots. In the end, Perry Cox moves onto the semi finals of the heavyweight tournament after he was awarded the 49-48 unanimous decision victory by all three judges. The battle that these two warriors had earned them Fight of the Night honors.

Also on the undercard was another heavyweight tournament fight between Yuuri Ryuu and Alex Jones. This was a one sided fight as Ryuu battered Jones at will. Ryuu utizlied the clinch to soften up Alex Jones. After disengaging from the clinch, Ryuu scored with a quick combination and followed it with a straight punch that had Jones reeling into the cage. Jones was finished off with a right cross that put him out cold at just 1:55 of the first round.

The final tournament fight of the night was between Xavier Gracie and Asher Perun. Gracie shocked everybody as he scored with a two punch combination that sent Perun crashing to the mat. Xavier tried to finish with strikes but score little to no damage with his ground and pound. However, the pressure Xavier exerted cause Perun to give up his back and Gracie found the Rear Naked Choke submission at 2:02 of the first round. With his impressive performance, Xavier Gracie earned Submission of the Night honors.

The rest of the undercard saw Albert Rodriguez score a unanimous decision victory over Shogun Silva. Hilo von Weichlinghammer earned the unanimous decision victory over Kam Johnson and Pen Pen dominated Indo Mc Stricker. This has been the single most successful event in Hilo to date not in just attendance and rating but what it has done for fighters like Emile Hainesburg, Antonio Santiago, Lei Wulong, and the rest of the fighters still competing in the ICON World Tournaments. So special thanks to all fighters who competed and all the organizations involved.

ROF 14 - Makili ka no'ono'o: Zod Makes a Huge Statement with Win...

Hilo, HI (TAP) - In the aftermath of ICON Superfights VII, Ring of Fire followed up with another stellar fight card tonight with ROF 14 Makili ka no'ono'o. The fans filled Hayashi's Lounge and enjoyed a fight card headlined by General Zod and Gaylord Butts.

General Zod proved to be a great addition to ICON RoF's heavyweight division in his match up with Gaylord Butts in the main event of the evening. Prior to the fight, experts expected this to be a standout war as both fighters have shown a tendency to trade on the feet, but Butts proved everybody wrong by scoring with an early takedown to start the match. From there Zod easily worked off his back and cinched up a triangle forcing the submission at just 0:53 of the first round. With his impressive win tonight, General Zod is slated to compete for the ICON RoF Heavyweight title at a later scheduled date.

In the Co-Main Event of the evening Kristo Napz clashes with Jimmy Lange Jnr in a Middleweight afair. Lange Jnr started things off with getting the fight to the ground and bringing Napz to his world. The first round played out with Lange Jnr. valiantly looking for numerous submissions but failing to score any. Then in the second round, Napz began to unleash his feared muay thai ability and began wrecking Lange Jnr with kicks to the body and head. A cut that was opened on Lange Jnr's head late in the first round continued to worses as Napz continued to tee off on him. After scoring with numerous head kicks the referee halted the fight and the ring side doctors put a end to Lange Jnr's night. Napz took the TKO victory with cuts at 3:20 of the second round and takes a huge step upwards on the Middleweight division ladder.

Kevin Jade shined on the undercard against fellow knockout artist, Mario Turk, in a light heavyweight division match up. Both fighters came out at the bell aggresively and it seemed like Jade had the upperhand. Kevin Jade pressured Mario Turk, but Turk defended well. However, Jade only needed to land one hard straight right to have Turk on queer street. Smelling blood, Jade kept the pressure and crumbled Turk with more shots that forced the referee to intervene at just 2:28 of the first round. With his big win, Jade should be a win or two away from a potential title shot.

Also on the undercard, former light heavyweight title contender, Brad Johnson, rebounded from a loss with his win over Frederick Comodore. Johnson threw a half hearted combination that set up a takedown to start the round. Once on the ground, Johnson worked methodically looking to put away Comodore with the least amount of punishment. The end came as Comodore mistakenly left his arm free and Johnson quickly snatched an armbar submission at 2:46 of the first round.

Gabriel Bemejo ended his career with a spectacular finish of Craig Smith. Things didn't start off well for Bemejo as Smith landed an early takedown. Bemejo stayed calm and weathered the storm eventually getting back to his feet. Bemejo landed a crisp two punch combo that rocked Smith and kept the pressure on Smith finding the knockout at 2:32 of the first round.

Dennis Turcotte bounced back from a previous defeat by putting away Sinya Asaki by submission. Asaki wasn't able to muster much offense as Turcotte put the former collegiate wrestler on his back numerous of times. The end came as Turcotte worked his way to Asaki's back and finally found the rear naked choke at 2:03 of the first round.

Another fighter who bounced back from a previous loss was Luca Lindholm who put away Bee Peeen in just 0:05 of the first round. Lindholm only need to land one meaningful combination that easily crumpled his opponent.

In other undercard action, Robert Glenn battered Mickey Lao for the duration of their 3 round fight. Glenn utilized the muay thai clinch that saw him beat up Lao with numerous knees to the head and midsection. Lao had no answer to Glenn's muay thai prowess and the judges awarded Glenn the unanimous decision victory.

Another middleweight division matchup saw Paul McIntosh completly dominated Otto Kealoa. McIntosh utilized his boxing advantage to pelt Kealoa with stiff jabs and hard crosses. A cut that was opened up on Kealoa in the middle of the first round worsened as the match went on. The cut got so bad that the Doctor was called in and halted the bout at 2:54 of the second round.

Jay Penn and Oscar Roberts opened up the card in a featherweight division bout. Thing started off nice for Penn as he scored with a jaw dropping Suplex that really WOW'd the crowd. Penn then scrambled to Roberts back and easily forced the submission with a rear naked choke at just 1:04 of the first round.

This capped off one of the biggest weekends for ICON Ring of Fire. A champion was crowned, records were broken, and ICON Ring of Fire was jettisoned to the top of the charts. Expect much of the same for ICON Ring of Fire next week with ROF 15 - Hoa Loa.

These two fighters headlined tonights event (ROF's MP5) and put eachother through a 5 round war in front of a sell out crowd in The Underground. MonRoe seemed to be very much in control of the entire match and even avoided all submission attempts from Black. Mitchell utizilied his overwhelming striking advantage to batter Tyler Black for a full five rounds. However, Black showed true heart and lasted till the final bell but the judges awarded MonRoe the decision victory by a score of 50:43 across the board. With this victory, MonRoe earns the coveted ROF Featherweight title and sits a top the division.

Global Warming extends his win streak to 2 with his submission victory over Andrea Singlaterry in the Co-Main Event of the evening. It was much of the same for the entire fight as Warming easily scored takedowns and looked to work over Singlaterry with a submission. The end came when Warming cinched in a tight triangle and forced the submission at 2:36 of the first round.

Johnny Hilo also continues his move up the welterweight division ladder with his TKO victory over Junior Key. Hilo scored with an easy takedown and immediately began dishing out ground and pound punishment to Key. ROF 15 - Hou Loa Review

Sam Soule v.s Damian Cain (205lbs)

This fight started with Soule trying to take the fight to the ground and with his superior wrestling, he managed to do so at will. The majority of the round stayed on the ground where the two fighters enjoyed some success. It was a very close round, the judges gave Cain the nod. The 2nd round started much the same with Soule wasting no time in showing off his wrestling, however Cain managed to sweep Soule quickly and controlled the rest of the round on the ground, resulting in him going 2 rounds up over Soule. In the final round Soule came out with something to prove, he pushed the action and won the round but didn't get the stoppage he needed.

Damian Cain (MD)

Wesley Pryce v.s Kame Hameha (185lbs)

Hameha came out like a wild man in his debut, Pryce looked stunned and in awe by the onslaught from Hameha. It wasn't long before Pryce had a nastey cut and he knew he was in trouble, he looked for the takedown but couldn't get it. Hameha continued to outstrike Pryce and the ref had no choice but to stop it at the end of the round.

Kameha Hameha Round 1: 4:43 (TKO)

Amsel Socamo v.s Dave Blackfoot (135lbs)

Blackfoot came out and took the fight to the ground straight away where he had the advantage, the ref stood them back up after a couple of failed submission attempts by Blackfoot but it was only a matter of time before Blackfoot scored with another takedown. Socamo managed to defend against the submission attempts and force another referee stand up. Things were different this time as Socamo landed with some nice strikes and managed to cut Blackfoot, shortly after Blackfoot was on shakey legs as Socamo rocked him with a big shot.. It wasn't long before the ref stopped the fight with fear for Blackfoots health.

Amsel Socamo Round 1: 4:12 (TKO)

Casey Silk v.s Paul Kong (145lbs)

Kong scored with an early takedown as the fight got underway. It was an intense start to the fight with both fighters scrambling for positions on the floor, both with multiple submission attempts. It was a very close round with Silk just getting the nod. In the 2nd round Kong yet again managed to get the fight to the ground and controlled the majority of the action. The fight was 1 round a piece going in to the last frame. As the 3rd round got underway Kong decided to move in to the clinch in an attempt to mix things up, from their he pulled guard and seemed to have more left in the gas tank as he outworked Silk for the remainder of the round, leading him to a UD victory.

Paul Kong (UD)

JJ Zola v.s Mason Storm (265lbs)

Storm came out throwing wild strikes from the starts. Zola countered with a massive right hand which sent Storm to the canvas and had blood flowing from his head. Storm got back up where he spent the rest of the round getting beaten up by Zola in the clinch. As the 2nd round stated Zola landed with a huge head kick that wobbled and floored Storm. This time Zola followed Storm to the ground which enabled Storm to recover somewhat, Zola soon stood back up though and once again beat Storm up in the clinch for the rest of the 2nd round. The 3rd round started and the fight continued in the same fashion, Zola was dominating Storn with his clinch game. Storm looked badly beaten and sorry for himself.

JJ Zola (UD)

Chong Li v.s Mark Stevenson (170lbs)

The 2 fighters started the fight feeling eachother out, when suddenly out of nowhere Stevenson scored with a powerful takedown. As the 2 warriors set in to a grappling match they were trying submission after submission. There was no fewer then 18 submission attempts, but only 1 counted and it came at the end of the round, a beautiful armbar from mount by Li.

Chong Li Round 1 4:47 (Submisson, Amrbar)

Imran Shaah v.s Sebastian Audi (170lbs)

Shaah got to work early in the 1st round in the clinch, he managed to land a sharpe elbow that opened up a cut over Audis eye, Shaah then continued his dominace with a takedown in to half guard. The 2 excahnged positions on the ground for the rest of the round. In the 2nd round Shaah once again got a take down and started working on some ground a pund, he landed a thunderish shot which made Audi give up his back, which was his first and last mistake as Shaah pounded away till the ref jumped on him to pull him off.

Imran Shaah Round 2 2:29 (TKO)

Steve Jones v.s Dally O Malley (185lbs)

O Malley started the round the better mixing up his striking from the outside and in the clinch, he managed to land a massive head kick that dropped Jones but Jones survived the round. The 2nd rounded started off much the same with O Malley out striking his foe, he decided to mix it up a bit and go for a takedown near the end of the round though, it turnt out to be a mistake as Jones nearly caught him in a couple of submissions.. But the end of the round was near and O Malley already had it in the bag. Jones came out in the final round with a takedown and worked for some submissions but they were all in Vain as O malley got back to his fight and carried on using Jones as a punch bag.

Dally O Malley (UD)

Kale Ravenal v.s Nerubian Assasin (170lbs) CO - MAIN EVENT

The 2 warriors came out swinging like wild men, it was like something out of a movie. Both fighters got cut. Ravenal decided he had another of playing the stand up game and got a takedown, it proved to be a good move as he moved in to mount and hammered away at Assasins face untill the ref dived in to hault the contest.

Kale Ravenal Round 1 2:05 (TKO)

Marlo Froch v.s Ty Angle (155lbs) MAIN EVENT

Ty Angle knew straight away he didn't want to feel the power of Froch as he tried for a quick takedown, but failed. Froch soon started catching Angle and Angle was trying despretely to get the fight to the ground, but it was no good.. Froch takedown defense was too good and he smashed Angle with a right hand that had Angle take a trip to AnE.

Froch Round 1 0:32 (KO)

ROF's Mokomoko Po 6 Preview

Hunter Helmsley v.s Slugg Grue - Heavyweight

The card kicks off with striker Helmsley looking for a change in fortune after starting up with 2 back to back losses, standing in his way is another powerful striker in the form of Grue. Both fighters are pure strikers so will be interesting to see if they try mixing it up a but or stick to their bread and butter. This fight is close to a toss up.

Brian Willie v.s Sammy Miller - Lightweight

The next fight sees undefeated Muay Thai practitioner Brian Willie go in against heavy handed Sammy Miller, Brian is 2-0 with 2 decision victories where as Miller is 2-1 but both of Millers wins are by way of brutal knock out, proven his massive power. It would seem Miller has more ways to get the win then Willie does in this contest.

Manny Diaz v.s Mark Sotiar - Welterweight

Next up we have a very dangerous striker in Diaz taking on all rounder Mark Sotiar. Both fighters are looking to make an impact on the welterweight division with a win here. Sotiars only chance of victory would seem to be on the ground, but Diaz is no mug in the grappling department either. Sotiar has his back against the wall in this fight. Look for Diaz to stop Sotiar with strikes.

Mc Donald v.s Marcus Silva -Lightweight

This is a very interesting fight with Mc Donald the technical boxer taking on Silva the powerful wrestler. Mc Donald has a lot of experince over the NCAA National Wrestling champ and will be looking to outstrike the newly formed Mixed Martial Artist. The critics think Silva is getting thrown in the the deep end a little too quick and is a bit too green for this match up.

Pit Lord v.s Mark Lang - Middleweight

The talented striker Lord is matched up against slightly more experinced all rounder Lang. This fight looks to be very close, if you was looking for a winner then you'd have to say Lang is more out of his deapth on his feet then Lord is on the ground. Both are hoping to get in the mix for the title with a win here

Lance Rookfield v.s Gay Lets Go - Heavyweight

Rookfield the allrounder takes on the 2nd Muay Thai practitioner on the card Lets Go. Both fighters are 2-1 and it looks to be a close encounter. Lets Go will be looking to use his superieor Muay Thai but the fight will most likely hit the floor eventually where Rookfields more well rounded game should shine as he detaches a limb from the one trick pony Lets Go.

Rafael Villa v.s Miguel Barricho - Heavyweight

Highly rated undefeated phenom Villa will take on journyman Barricho. Villa is a BJJ Brown Belt and also has very proficent boxing. Journyman Barrich could well be in over his head here as surely there is only one winner. Villa will take this and improve his record to 4-0 with another brutal stpooage, moving towards a title shot in the process.

Douglas Adams v.s Demian Maia - Middleweight

Adams, the hard working all rounded workhorse coming from the grummy streets of Cambridge in the UK takes on star studded grappler Demian Maia. Adams will have to rely on outworking the talented grappler and that is not out of the question, Adams has some power and comes at you non - stop. Maia should get it to the ground and put him to sleep by the 2nd round, though.

lllaceme Plenipes v.s Eddy Bravo - Lightweight - CO MAIN EVENT

This is a fight that could determine the next challenger for the belt in the Lightweight division as we have deadly head kicking Plenipes take take on BJJ wizkid Bravo. Plenipes has stopped all 3 of his opponents in the 1st round by vicous head kicks. Bravo is also undefeated with a record of 4-0. Both fighters are in serious trouble while they are in the others world, and fortunately for Plenipes the fight starts on the feet where he'll have the first chance to put Bravo away, and one chance is all he needs. Lightweight champion Marlo Froch will be ringside, scouting his possible next opponent.

Dan Flett v.s Alamimo Hoku - Lightheavyweight - MAIN EVENT

The main event of the evening has Dan flett take on Alamimo Hoku. Flett is dangerous wherever the fight goes, he has big power on the feet and a slick ground game, Hoku is a devastating boxer and has all 5 of his wins by way of knock out. Flett will not want to get involved in a stand up war here and should quickly look to get the fight to the ground and leave his ego at home, as if he does decided to stand it will most likely put an end to his title charge. Look for Flett to stick to the game plan and win by submission as soon as the fight hits the ground. A title match awaits hm.

Dog Shagger v.s Ainakea Mafua - Heavyweight

Shagger is looking to get back to winning ways after his last outing where he got knocked out early in the first round, he's not going to have it easy though as he squares off against Mafua who seems to have him outmatched wherever the fight goes. Shagger has shown some good skills in the clinch in previous fights so maybe he'll try that game plan again, but Mafua should be the only winner here.

Robert Dyrdek v.s Mirlo Crokakk - Heavyweight

Drydek will try and get a positive record with a victory here that will make him 3-2. He faces of against Crokakk who is coming off his debut where he lost a decision. This fight looks to be close if it stays on the feet, but if it gets to the ground Dyrdek will have a big advantage and should put Crokakk away easily.

Diego Snachez v.s CoreyTaylor - Welterweight

Two unbeaten novices will go to war, where Diego Sanchez will try and get the fight to the floor where he will have an advantage over Taylor. That will be a very hard task though as Taylor has by far the superior wrestling, Sanchez's only hope to get this fight to the ground may be to pull guard.

Scott Miller v.s John Smith - Middleweight

A very interesting fight which has another two unbeaten novices square off. Miller has a little bit of an advantage in the stand up and the wrestling, however Smith has a massive advantage on the ground. The winner of this fight will be judged by if Smith can get it to the ground, or if Miller can keep it on the feet. If the fight stays standing up it should be a close fight which will produce fireworks.

James Goldfish v.s Luiz MunRoe - Heavyweight

MunRoe, a former Division 3 wrestling competitor who has been working on his stand up will go to battle with Goldfish who has a Brown Belt in BJJ. This fight is simple - If MunRoe uses his wrestling in reverse and keeps it standing then he'll take this one, however if this fight for whatever ends up on the floor.. Golfish will give MunRoe a BJJ lesson.

Kal El v.s Readen Bugle - Lightheavyweight

A very good match up between 2 experinced fighters, both have their strengths and weaknesess and it will be up to the other to exploit them. El has the better Muay Thai and Wrestling but Bugle has then better Boxing and BJJ, this fight looks to be near 50/50.. maybe if El can get in to the clinch he'll have a slight advantage

Mello Shain v.s DJ Williams - Middleweight

Dangerous striker Shain takes on up and coming unbeaten prospect Williams. Shain has deadly hands and smooth boxing skills, Williams will look to take advantage of his background in College Wrestling to get this fight to the gound, whether or not he'll be able to do any better there we'll have to wait and see.

Pete Dillan v.s Stryder Maloney - Welterweight

two evenly matched unbeaten prospects both bringing to the fight a perfect 3 - 0 record will try and move one step closer to a tittle shot. This fight is nearly as close as they come. both have very similar grappling games so this will most likely play out on the feet. Dillan has the better boxing but Maloney is more well rounded in his striking attacks, this is sure to be a barn burner.

Brandon Conway v.s Teddy Payne - Middleweight C0 MAIN EVENT

A contrast in styles here as all rounder Teddy payne puts his unbeaten 4-0 record on the line against Brown belt grappling vetren Brandon Conway. Teddy Payne will be looking to use his wrestling skills to keep the fight standing, Conway might be safer to to try and catch Payne off guard with the takedowns though as Paynes hardly streets ahead on the feet. This fight will be decided by if Conway can mix his attacks up enough to confuse Payne.

Nelson Jodoin v.s Ivan Guccione - Bantamweight MAIN EVENT

In the main event of the evening two top Bantamweights will go to war in a match up where it will come down to who wants it most. Both fighters are at about the same level on the feet and on the ground. Jodoin does have a wrestling advantage though so it could be that he can decide where to take the fight that could be the difference, Guccione will be determined to keep his undefeated record, though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sanchez throws a right hand that Taylor ducks under and follows up with a left that Taylor also avoids with ease.

Taylor throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.

Taylor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Sanchez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Taylor was well out of range. Poor timing from Sanchez.

Taylor throws a solid leg kick but Sanchez takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Taylor.

Taylor misses with a low kick.

Donk. Sanchez catches Taylor right on the button with a cross.

Sanchez waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Taylor. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Taylor to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Taylor is rocked!

Sanchez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sanchez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Taylor screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sanchez! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Diego Sanchez!

Jonny Love v.s Frank Body - Heavyweight

The card starts with these two heavyweights looking to take a step up the ladder in the 265lb division. Both are coming off losses so are eager not to make it back to back losses. The bout is very close in all areas and both men are proven to have granite chins. This fight really is a toss up. It may come down to who wants it more.

B A v.s Ash Simm - Bantamweight

This fight sees 2 BJJ purple belts lock horns. B A is the more experinced of the two fighter having had five fights where as Ash Simms has only had the one, this could be the main factor in the fight as although both fighters are mainly ground fighters, B A's experince has made him a more well rounded fighter in other areas and he may try to keep this fight on the feet where he'll have an advantage over the unbeaten novice Simm.

Kalava Hunt v.s Patrick Bateman - Heavyweight

In the second heavyweight fight of the evening, all rounder Hunt takes on stand up stud Bateman. Hunt will look to take advantage of the holes in Batemans ground game, as if the fight stays on the feet it could well be a long night for Hunt. As far as Bateman is concerned he needs to keep the fight upright at all costs where he can show off his superieor striking.

Henry Bafana v.s Blake Richardson - Light Heavyweight

The next fight is a crossroad fight for both fighters. They are both 2-2 in their careers and are both coming off losses. Richardson is a striker with big power, but also a suspect chin. All of his fights have ended by KO, weather he's been the one doing the knocking out, or the one being knocked out. Fireworks are sure to happen when Richardson is about. Bafana is more of a ground fighter but has decent stand up aswell, however his stand up looks to be streets behind Richardsons so he should probably look to take this fight to the ground.

Rory Gallagher v.s Steve Cranzinski - Middleweight

This fight has the 1-0 prospect Gallagher take on the slightly more experinced Cranzinski. Gallagher is a very strong fighter and can knock out people with both his hands and his feet. Cranzinski has strong Muay Thai attacks and is also a BJJ purple belt. This is a great fight with two very talented fighters and is hard to call.

Dung Pee v.s Jake Young - Welterweight

The next fight sees two middle of the pack Welterweights look to move a step up in the division and become contenders. We have the great at nothing - but good at everything Young take on technical Muay Thai fighter Pee. The two are very close in overall ability, both on the feet and on the gound. It may just be the fact Pee is slightly less predictable that puts the fight in his favor.

Haiki Masatupo v.s Jacob Bone - Lightweight

Next up we have a lightweight battle between unbeaten worldclass Muay Thai Practitioner Masatupo and Submission fighter Jacon Bone. This looks like a very tough match up for Bone as he is outmatched by the Muay Thai specialiest. Musatupo has evolved into more then just a Muay Thai fighter aswell and now has solid skills all round. A win here will make him 3-0 and a step closer to the title.

Luca Lindholm v.s Pili Pangi - Bantamweight

This fight has the versatile Lindhom fight the pure grappler Pangi. Lindholm has good stand up with knock out power and is also decent on the ground. Where as Pangi is a grappler trying his hand at MMA and as of yet it has giving him mixed results. This fight may well turn out to be your normal striker v.s grappler fight. One things for sure, wherever the fight is, someone is in big trouble.

Trace Bradley v.s Liibor Prohaska - Light Heavyweight CO MAIN EVENT

The co main event has 4-0 Bradley go to battle with 4-1 Prohaska. Prohasks is a old school spawl and barwler. Bradley is a boxer with massive power and also well rounded skills everywhere else. All four of Bradleys victimes have been knocked out in the first round. Don't count out Prohaska though who also has also has big power. This is one very explosive fight and is not the time to go and grab another beer. It seems Bradleys slightly more evolved game gives him the tiny advantage here.

Felix Promfrey v.s Jay Molear - Lightweight MAIN EVENT

Main event time! We have old school veteran Felix 'Felicis' Promfrey stand in the way of up and coming super star Jay 'Donkey' Molear. Promfrey is dangerous whereever the fight goes as you would expect with someone who has been in the game aslong as himself, however, most of his victories have came from his under-estimated ground game. Molear has powerful Muay Thai and is coming off back to back wins by way of headkick KO. Molears solo defeat did come by way of submission though so maybe that area of his game still needs improving, if this is the case - look for him to try and keep this fight on the feet, as the veteran Promfrey hunts for the takedown. This looks as if it is a 50/50 fight.

ROF 17 - Pale Kaua Preview

Railio Gonbon v.s Darby Tyrone - Featherweight

Two novices will face off in the featherweight division to get the card underway. Gonbon is your typical spawl and brawler with little else in his arsenal. Tyrone is a bit more well rounded in his skillset but aslong as Gondon can keep the fight on the feet where he's comftable, Tyrones advantages in other areas will count for little.

George St Ali v.s Hwoarang Do San - Middleweight

Two 1-1 fighters will face off next as Ali takes on Son. Ali is a strong boxer who has been trying to evolve the rest of his game. San has good skills all round and uses his wrestling to get the fight away from his opponenets strengths, in this case he'll try and get the fight to the ground, away from Alis boxing skills. It is reported that San is having some trouble making weight in this fight, it looks like he may have to hit the sauan before the fight if he doesn't keep an eye on his weight.

Hugo Ritter v.s Peter Parker - Middleweight

Parker makes his debut against college wrestler turned mixed martial artist Hugo Ritter. Ritter has been working on his stand up skills and BJJ since making the turn in to MMA, and is now at an acceptable level at both, meaning he can more often then not choose the other fighters weakness and take the fight there. In this fight he might try to mix it up a bit as Parker is reported to have decent stand up and ground game. This looks to be a good match.

Tay Smith v.s Shawn Adams - Welterweight

Former professional boxer Smith fights against Adams. Boxer Smith has been working on keeping the fight on the feet but seems to not be improving his ground game. Adams has good skills on the feet and on the ground but lacks the wrestling to choose where the fight goes. This is a bad match up for Adams aslong as Smith uses his takedown desense properly, there will be little Adams can do to get this fight to the ground.

Mike Hock v.s Dan Dam - Wleterweight

Two well rounded welterweights meets in a hope to move up in to the contender part of the division. Hock comes in with a record of 2-1 and Dam holds a 1-1 record. Both fighters are fairly well rounded and niether has a big advantage wherever the fight goes which means this is a 50/50 fight and may come down to who makes the least mistakes.

Kaila Anne v.s Richard Simmons - Featherweight

2-0 prospect Anne takes on veteran Simmons in a fight with a contrast of styles. Anne is the Muay Thai fighter with a purple belt in BJJ but little wrestling, Simmons is a remarkable wrestler with so-so skills everywhere else. In theory this is a bad fight for the veteran Simmons as wherever he takes the fight he'll be at a disadvantage but maybe he will be able to control the fight with his wrestling, we're have to wait and see!

Basje Schrauwen v.s Jimmy Sikblood - Bantamweight

Two very talented fighters look to move closer to a title shot in the bantamweight division. Schrauwen has a mainly Muay Thai based style but is also decent in all other areas too. Sikblood has superb boxing and vicous power, he's won all his last four fights by knock out, he also holds a purple belt in BJJ. It would look as if Sikblood has the edge in this fight between the two talented fighters.

Davin Gunter v.s Jet Black - Heavyweight

9-6 veteran Gunter goes to war against 3-2 Black. Gunter is mainly a submission fighter having had 7 of his 9 wins coming by submission but is also very capable in all other areas. Black is a bit less experinced but does have good stand up, he'll have to try and keep the fight on the feet to have a chance here and it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top in the wrestling department, as that may well decide who walks away with the victory.

Nelson Palau v.s Johnny Quid - Bantamweight CO MAIN EVENT

In the co main event of the evening we have a battle for the bantamweight title. Palau the defending champing has a 5-1 record and is on a 5 fight win streak. The challenegr is Johnny Quid who is a dangerous 4-0 prospect having his first shot at the title. Palau likes to get the fight to the ground where he normally wins by submission, unfortunitly for Palau it looks like Quid will be able to at least match him on the ground and if the fight stays standing then it should be a quick nights work for Quid as his stand up skills are far superieor to Paluas. It's hard to see much hope for Palau here.

Popeye Orion v.s Jay Mitchell - Welterweight MAIN EVENT

The main event will see 6-0 champion Orion take on the experinced and dangerous Mitchell. Orion is very good at controlling the fight wherever it goes and gets his wins by outworking his opponents. Mitchell is a 16 fight veteran and has gained high level skills all round, he has a very underrated purple belt in BJJ.. 8 of his 9 wins have came by way of submission. Both have rocked fighters in the past and seem to both have knock out power, it's quite amazing that niether of them have won by knock out - maybe they have been saving it for eachother. It looks like the champion Orion might be outmatched in this fight, to the the more experinced fighter Mitchell.

Dan Quinn v Gerald Henderson - Bantamweight

Two experinced fighters get the card kicked off in the bantamweight division as the talented brown belt grappler Quinn faces off against the well rounded skills of Henderson. All 6 of Quinns victories have came by submissions, however he also has 6 losses in his long career. Henderson has a slightly better looking record having won 6 and lost 3. You'd fancy Quinn to win this fight by submission, if he can manage to get it to the ground, the question is - Will he be able to?

Oscar Roberts v Mickey Lao - Featherweight

These two featherweights are looking to move up the division with a hard fought win here and as they are of equal skill, that's exactly what it will be - hard fought! Robers has decent stand up but it's a bit one dimensional with only his punches being effective. Lao also has decent stand up however he has decided to spend his time learning more well rounded striking attacks. Both fighters look to have equal ground games aswell so it looks like this will be a close match up.

Blood Seeker v Manny Sessions - Lightweight

Two young up and comers look to take their respective careers to the next level as skilled boxer Seeker fights versatile fighter Sessions. Sessions will be looking to get this fight to the ground, where as Seeker will be looking to take Sessions head off before that happens. Sessions does have a good chin so he'll be hoping that'll give him some more precious time to work for a takedown before Seekers superieor boxing takes its toll.

Mike Smith v Mark Kyle - Light-Heavyweight

Journymen Smith and novice Kyle will lock horns in this light-heavyweight match up. Although Smith has a dissapointing record of 4-8 he's actually on a 3 fight win streak and has shown some clinical kicks. Kyle has recently been diagnosed with serve depression and even if he doesn't get hurt in this fight - will probably go home and slit his wrists.

David Ogden v dony jaa - Welterweight

Both these fighters haven't had the best start to their careers, both having a 1-2 record, however both have some skills and can turn things around with a victory here. Ogden has recently been awarded his BJJ purple belt so it looks like he has been working hard to improve his ground game since his last fight and maybe wants to take the fight down town to the canvas-town. Jaa is no mug on the ground but will probably look to take advantage of his muay thai skills and stay on the feet.

Kam Johnson v Mark Shields - Featherweight

Here we have two 2-1 featherwight fighters, both of their 2 wins have came by submission. Both fighters also have good chins so it looks like this fight might end up on the ground again for both fighters. It's hard to say who has the advantage on the ground but shields has never gone past the first round so maybe Johnson will try and test out his cardio.

Hilo von Weichlinghammer v Jay Penn - Featherweight

2-0 prospect Weichlinghammer will take on the more experinced Penn. Both fighters are very equal in their skillsets, with both fighters having all round skills. The question is will Weichlinghammers youth and determination be enough to get through the experinced Penn? This fight is about as close as a fight could be.

Dennis Turcotte v Joe Frost - Welterweight

These two fighters are looking to move up the welterweight rankings. We have powerful grappler Turcotte square off against the skilled boxer Frost. While Frost hasn't stopped any of his opponents which may point towards a lack of power, he still has great boxing skills and if this fight stays on the feet he'll have no problems boxing circles around Turcotte. However, if Turcotte can get this fight to the ground he should make short work of Frost. Frost does have the advantage in wrestling but all it takes is for Turcotte to get one takedown and that may be all he needs, so in this fight... Frosts lack of power may finally catch up with him.

Kristo Napz v Wilson Grey - Middleweight - CO-MAIN EVENT

Two very talented fighters will do battle as we have muay thai machine Napz matched up with deadly boxer Grey. Both fighters have shown vicous power so this could be a fight not to be missed if it stays on the feet as both men have unquestionable skills in the stand up apartment and it'll lead to a close fight. However, Grey is the far better wrestler and should be able to takedown Napz at will if he chooses to do so and it's this reason that makes him a huge favorite.

Mario Turk v Mario Neto - Light-Heavyweight - MAIN EVENT

In the main event of the evening we have two 205ers go to war in hope for the winner getting a tittle shot. We have silky smooth boxer Turk fight the mainly grappling fighter Neto. This fight will most likely play out as a striker v grappler match with Turk desprete to keep it on the feet and Neto doing all he can to get it to the ground. It would look Neto has a slim advantage in wrestling so it would seem you'd have to make him a slight favorite here.
