dwad23
All of the WCP action was brought to you by our official sponsors Voodoo Supplements in Amsterdam, and Fenrir Fightgear in Helsinki and the WCP would like to thank both of them for providing the bonuses. We had a great first event congratulations to all the competitors and here are the bonuses: Fight of the Night: In 170 lbs. action a tope came back from being rocked and losing the first round to winning by anaconda choke in the second round over Monty Burns, great fight guys. Submission of the Night: In 155 lbs. action Rogerio Alves was able to send king william to the canvas with a nice right hand, moved into mount, faked some ground and pound and finished with a beautiful armbar. Knockout of the Night: In 265 lbs. action, Okay so there was no knockout but Mirko Filipovic was so dominant in his performance that he deserved some kind of award, Mirko landed 214 unanswered strikes and avoided every takedown attempt from Maciej Majewski winning the fight on every scorecard 30-24. Again congrats to all the competitors we will to it again on January 22nd WCP 2 Bragging Rights
dwad23
All of these fights are brought to you by Fenrir Fightgear and Crashforce Voodoo Lab. Main Event Mirko Sernic vs. Brad Smelly A super heavyweight battle between Sernic who has the better boxing and wrestling and Smelly who is a muay thai and bjj fighter, whose style will reign supreme, we will have to see in the cage. Co-main event Misho Bang vs. Dynamite Joe At welterweight we have a battle between Dynamite who has the muay thai advantage and Misho who has a win under his belt already, these are two closely matched fighters who should put on a great fight. Jamie Horton vs. Matt Sherk Here is a lightweight matchup between the well rounded Sherk who has been on a bit of a losing streak and Horton who won his last fight and has the bjj advantage, this one should be fun to watch. Denzil Haye vs. Carl Fisherman In this bantamweight fight we have two very good strikers in their debuts as professionals, will these too stand and bang or will someone try and take advantage elsewhere we will see on Friday. Frizzle Frazzle vs. Brendan Hancock In this heavyweight fight we have a talented boxer in Frazzle again the talented muay thai fighter in Hancock, I have a feeling this one could be a great standup battle. Wing Wang vs. Matt Serra At welterweight we have the classic striker versus grappler, Wang has a brown belt but has suffered two knockout losses and Serra is a striker with his only loss by submission, this one will be a battle of wills. Bob Downson vs. Ante Raos At welterweight we have Downson making his debut against Raos in a battle of fighters that like to box. I feel like both will try to slug it out for their next win. Germaine King vs. Alberto Souza Two welterweights will start the evening with King as the better striker and Souza with the wrestling advantage. This one could go either way we will have to see which fighter can dictate where this fight will end up. Remember the Fight of the Night fighters, sub of the night, and knockout of the night winners will receive their bonuses courtesy of our sponsors Fenrir Fightgear and Crashforce Voodoo Lab. Thanks again to both of these great companies. Good luck to all the competitors. Rusty

dwad23
I'm looking to have a 145 pound new fighter tournament I'm looking for fighters with 2 fights or less to participate. I would like it to be a 16 man tournament with the winner getting a title shot. All of the fighters would be signed to 500/500/1500 contracts. The winner will also receive a 5000 dollar bonus for winning the tournament and a lucrative 5 fight contract with the WCP. So by the end of the tournament your fighter could have 13500 dollars and a title shot. Let me know if you are interested Thanks Rusty Shackleford-WCP
