Hey guys, 2024 seen the start of Sunrise, it's been a lil rocky start but we have over 80 fighters signed and we are putting on weekly events consistently. It's been a rapid growth for us but we have so much further to go. I'm coming for the number 1 KT org in the game so I declare war with STRIKE (in a friendly way), STRIKE have been amazing for the KT side of the game, but like I said, I'm here to take over.
Heading into 2025, Sunrise has decided to solely focus on KT, the divisions for 2025 will be the following:
135: 410k+ NEW*
145: 405K+
155: Open weight
170: 410k+ NEW*
185:405k+
205:405k+
265: Masters division (for the old heads that don't have much time left in their career but want to stay really active) NEW*
265+: Open weight
So the 405K ID divisions will stick around for 2025 and then they will be dissolved into our open weight divisions at the beginning of 2026. Our new 405k ID divisions are just waiting for 410K to begin (currently around 409600, so we're really close). The open weight and 405k divisions have been building plenty of momentum, stars are being born, fights are getting bigger and bigger and overall I am happy with the competition and quality of the product.
The last thing I want to introduce for 2025 is the new Masters division, this is a test division to see if there's much interest. This is designed for the fighters past their prime and just want to stay as active as possible before retiring, it will take place at 265 but I will do my best to match evenly as possible regarding weight differences etc. The requirements for this division is simply, fighters 35 years old and over are eligible for the division.
All you've fought is cans. There's no risk for me, George Wilder will come take your belt as soon as @listerman decides you've been babied enough and schedules your execution.
