GFC 4: Krasavchik vs. Swanson Main Event review

St Peterburg: Here, in this crowdy city of Russia, lives and trains one of the best and most promising fighters in Gladiator FC today. Here, in Iron Fist Training gym, Uzbek Krasavchik is preparing for his next bout: he is going to fight Chaz Swanson at February 22 for the Gladiator FC heavyweight title. It's a big opportunity for both guys, because the winner will make history of becoming the first ever heavyweight champion in Gladiator FC history.

(Shows a video of Uzbek Krasavchik knocking Zeca Ralho out cold with a Superman Punch in his devastating debut) This is undoubtably the best KO in GFC we have today. This performance earned Krasavchik a Knockout Of The Night bonus, and we were really proud of having such talent in our organisation. We saw that Uzbek is hungry and gave him another guy that thrilled us in his debut - Kanu Ogwonna.

(Shows a clip of Kanu tapping while trapped in guillotine) Kanu really looked like he was scoring some nice takedowns and points whilst doing some Ground and Pound, but Uzbek showed his ability to submit guys. He did it nice and technically, and earned himself a shot at the Heavyweight Title.

Krasavchik has just beautiful boxing skills, very good submission game of his back, and he's ready to use those weapons to beat another title contender - Chaz Swanson.

Chaz is currently living in an Amsterdam hotel and training in Acme! gym. He is one of the most vicious guys in the division today. Chaz was a huge underdog in his debut against then #1 contender Alexander Volkov in GFC 2: Camacho vs. Toriyama, but denied everything we thought about him: he came in tight and confident, and was giving a brutal beating to Volkov, and in the 3rd round, he drops some heavy leather on Volkov and he just can't take it anymore.

(Shows a clip of Chaz Swanson continuosly taking Volkov down and pounding him brutally the whole fight, until the TKO victory)

He has also shown his submission skills in GFC 3: Toriyama vs. Penn by submitting Hybrid System in hte very first round by a Rear Naked Choke. Just a class act submission forced Hybrid to tap and we decided that Swanson is one of those top tier guys we have. He is more than prepared for a championship fight.

GFC 4, February 22nd. The gold will finally appear in heavyweight. This is the Gladiator FC!!!

One more rule guys - if you decline your fight or don't make weight - you're out of the tournament. You can still fight at Gladiator FC, but you'll just be out of tournament.

GFC 4: Krasavchik vs. Swanson preview

9 amazing fights are gonna happen in Amsterdam in February 22nd, As two heavyweight contender put themselves onto a test to fight for the undisputed Gladiator FC heavyweight title.

We've already made a title fight preview in this topic, so now we're just gonna go with the other fights :)

For the co-main event, Alexander Volkov (5-2) (1-2 GFC) will face Kanu Ogwonna (1-1-1) (1-1 GFC).

Alexander talked a lot of trash on Kanu in the smack talk topic, and made it a huge rivalry fight. The guys just want to destroy each other.

Fighters are pretty much similar, it's just that Alexander has slightly better boxing, and Kanu is a bit stronger in his wrestling. But don't you get tricked by Alexander's blue belt BJJ level. His a good submission specialist and most of his fights ended in a submission.

Prediction: Volkov by 2rd submission.

Jessie Sherbang (2-2) (1-0 GFC) vs. Martin Falrmer (2-2) (1-2 GFC)

Jessie has proven to be good in his last fight and used his wrestling and boxing to defeat his opponent. Martin is a guy that has tied a record for most awards in GFC. Even if he loses his fights, those are really worthy a Fight Of The Night bonuses, so we're thinking about a pretty exciting fight.

Prediction: Falrmer by 3rd KO.

Jonny Benson (2-1) (1-1 GFC) vs. Gall Bakketoppen (0-0) (0-0 GFC)

Gall is making a debut being an underdog. He's younger, his wrestling is weaker... And BJJ is stronger. This is the key for Gall to win. But you shouldn't count Benson out. The guy looks serious, I saw his primaries improved and he's got very good game from being on top. If Benson's pace keeps up, we might really see him as the next contender.

Prediction: Jonny Benson by Unanimous decision.

Joey Durant (2-1) (2-1 GFC) vs. Zachary Bender (0-1) (0-1 GFC)

Another grudge match!!! Bender spilled some shit onto Durant but he was okay with that. Durant said they are gonna settle this in the cage. Bender has to grapple his way to victory here because Durant has some serious KO power!!!

Prediction: Durant by 1rd KO.

Afoa Sesay (0-1) (0-0 GFC) vs. Nonzamo Plessis (0-0) (0-0 GFC)

Both guys looking to make GFC debuts, both guys can definetly score a finish. Sesay will more likely go for a submission while Plessis is going to use his muay thai to score a knockout.

Prediction: Afoa Sesay 1rd submission.

Mister Worldwide (0-1) (0-1 GFC) vs. John Green (1-5) (0-2 GFC)

This may be the last fight for Green in Gladiator FC. Green just lost too many fights in his career, but this time he has an opportunity to bring himself back on track. If he will use his Muay Thai skills well, he may score a finish here, but Worldwide has Worldwide class JiuJitsu here and if it goes to the ground Green will tap in seconds.

Prediction: Worldwide by 1rd submission.

Nicolas Smith (0-2) (0-2 GFC) vs. Zeca Ralho (0-2, 1NC) (0-1, 1NC GFC)

Easy peasy. Nicolas will be trying to take Zeca down and look for a submission while Ralho will try fighting in standup.

Prediction: Nicolas by 1rd submission.

Musfa Sesay (1-0) (0-0 GFC) vs. Spiral Stairs (4-0) (2-0 GFC)

Spiral is just gonna run over Sesay. Everywhere. I just don't know how it happened that this fight is even booked.

Prediction: Spiral Stairs by 1rd Finish.

Thank you for reading guys, good luck, and hope you'll put on a good show tommorow gentlemen! This is Gladiator FC!!!

Congratulations to the New Gladiator FC heavyweight champion, Uzbek Krasavchik!!! In a 5 round war, Uzbek showed his class. He had just woeful wrestling and could stop a superior wrestlers Chaz Swanson's takedowns 17 out of 19 times! Very good and dominant performance by the CHAMPION!
