SFC 1: Shlemenko vs Daxter

20.07.2014

Micro Arena (400)

MMA

Undercard

Heavyweight Bout

Rohann Lambert v Jorma Varjonen

Undercard

Light Heavyweight Bout

Roman Arshavin v Danny Binns

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Karpo Jackson v Viktor Volkov

Undercard

Welterweight Bout

Stowall Jackson v Atticus Finch

This will be the last fight, before entering the main part of tonight’s event. Two impressive 25 years old fighters will be the guarantee of entertaining show: owner of 4-1 professional MMA record, derived from Exington, United States- Stowall Jackson, will face amazing Canadian from Montreal- still unbeaten after his 3 professional MMA fights Atticus Finch. They are one of the most succesful and respected warriors among Sliders FC rankings, and it seems that we should shortly see tchem in more important parts of events. But let’s focus on upcoming fight. Stowal Jackson- high class boxer with solid wrestling skills, seems to be unfortunately an underdog in upcoming fight against similar skilled wrestler derived from grappling- the brown bekt owner from Canada. In situations like this, the grappler should be always the favorite, but we are afraid, that Finch may have really serious problems in any other area of MMA, especially involving striking, so we must wait with our predictions until the fight.

Main Card

Heavyweight Bout

Kenny Powers v Andres King

In this Main Card fight, two 25 years old fighters are waiting to show us their skills: American from Backyard- Kenny ‘Fuggen’ Powers, and Andres King, derived from Ecuadorian Quito. Powers has already shown some solid skills in his 1 won and 2 lost professional fights, but Ecuadorian warrior will be absolute debutant tonight. ‘Fuggen’ is international level boxer with trully solidly developed wrestling skills, and his opponents had great and succesful wrestling career before switching to MMA. As we have heard, he has already trained at Muay Thai Fighting School to sensible level, but tonight fight will be test for him, as ultimate fighter.

Main Card

Welterweight Bout

Jack McDaniels v Raphael Sanchos

Next fight will be fought by two 25 years old strikers, who are considered to have very similar skills and fighting styles. Owner of 3-2 professional MMA record, Jack ‘Big Mac’ McDaniels from Topeka, United States, will face tonight’s MMA debutant- Brazilian Raphael Sanchos, from Curitiba. It should be equal fight, but it’s very hard to get any further, as we are actually talking about debuting fighter. Anyway, ‘Big Mac’ has already proven, that he is solid MMA fighter, and we should take it as guarantee of good level fight awaiting us.

Co-Main Event

Light Heavyweight Bout

Darryl Maxwell v Ivan Wolfar

In Do-Main Event of the Night, we will have an opportunity to watch promising 25 years ld fighter, who has lost his only MMA debut- englishman Darryl ‘The Demon’ Maxwell from Hebburn. His tonight’s event will be much higher rated in MMA World, 23 years old Ivan Wolfar, born in London, but fighting under Serbian flag. As Maxwell has opinion to be very nice grappler with some decent boxing and wrestling skills, we didn’t see much of him yet. And Ivan Wolfar, who is clear favorite of tonight’s fight, has absolutely proven his value after 7 wins and 2 losses in his surprisingly succesful beginning of career. Anyway, tonight it should be nice test of his skills, as maybe he is international level boxer, we don’t know much about his grappling, yet- and this is definitely the way, how ‘The Demon’ will try to hunt down his oponent tonight..

Main Event

Middleweight Bout

Vladimir Shlemenko v The Daxter

In tonight’s main event of the night will participate two great, still unbeaten 25 years old professional MMA talents: Vladimi ‘Stotm’ Shlemenko from Russian Omsk, and The Dexter coming from Erfurt, Germany. Both have started their MMA professional careers very promising, winning 3 and 2 times respectively, all on small MMA galas. ‘Storm’ is tonight’s favorite, as both has shown already in past some solid skills, Dexter’s gameplan is definitely based rather on his boxing, and Shlemenko is world class wrestler, what should give him way bigger advantage during the fight, than anything else tonight.

Hello everyone this is Jacob What and you are reading the preview for SFC 2: Omagov vs McQueen. Unfortunetaly we couldn't get 10 fights, but I believe everyone is still excited for this card as we have many intriguing match-ups.

Main Card bout No.1

Lightweight (155lbs)

Sergej "White Bear" Smakov (1-0) vs Martin "The Heat" Begly (1-1)

First fight of the main card features two strikers, so get ready for fireworks! Both guys are debuting in Sliders FC. Smakov, coming from Russia, is a ruthless boxer. Fought only once, won by convincing decision, landing 86 strikes! He still looked fresh so we can tell he got that cardio. I heard somewhere that everyone in Russia is born with great cardio, propably not true though. He is facing another dangerous striker, Martin Begly coming to SFC from Northern Ireland! This guy is a solid fighter, well-rounded, with decent knockout power. In his debut he stopped his opponent inside first three minutes. He lost his second fight to our main eventer Omagov, which kinda showed that he still have holes in his ground game. Smakov is heavier, and taller - considering that it will propably be a stand-up battle this works for his advantage.

JW prediction: Smakov UD 29-28

Main Card bout No.2

Middleweight (185 lbs)

Vladimir Badoev (1-0) vs Gregory "Doctor" House (1-0)

This bout is really interesting stylewise. Badoev, born in Russia, is a phenomenal striker, with powerful kicks and punches. In his first fight he landed 61 kicks! That is insane, 4 kicks landed every minute. On the other hand Badoev got no ground game. No wrestling. Lets talk about House for a while. Everyone who saw his first fight knows that this guy is the danger. Six elbows were enough to stop his first opponent. Not some bullshit TKO cut win also. "House throws a beautiful elbow that sends Reeves crashing to the floor!" Looking at the wrestling difference between those you would think the smartest strategy for House would be to get the clinch early, and spam Vladimir head with elbows. Badoev should look to avoid clinch at all costs, and pick Doctor apart with strikes and kicks.

JW prediction: House KO R1

Main Card bout No.3

Light Heavyweight (205 lbs)

Niko Radic (1-0) vs Blas Blasi (1-0)

Now thats fight of the night in the making. Niko Radic, born in Karlovac, Croatia against Blas Blasi from USA. Both guys are purple belts, and they share similar boxing skills. Radic in his debut submit his opponent within first 2 minutes. That's impressive. Blas in his first fight showed great cardio, and really his versability. He can stand and bang with you but also he can take guys down and smash them on the ground. It will be interesting if this fight hits the ground considering Radic showed some sub skills, but Blasi got that KO power. Both of them gotta stay active, or the other one will hurt them bad!

JW prediction: Blasi UD

Co-main Event

Middleweight (185 lbs)

Jake Greenberg (2-1) vs Moguen "The Wall" Merk (1-0)

Jake Greenberg from the USA versus Moguen Merk from Andorra. It seems like Mr. Merk is kind of a pussy and will NC this fight by not making weight, even though I messaged him (manager) few times that he should get off the training or he wont make weight. What a shame...

JW prediction: Merk is released after SFC2

Main Event

Lightweight (155 lbs)

Odlan Omagov (1-0) vs Bishop "The Wolverine" McQueen (3-0)

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w26.jpg http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/33/33a3.jpg

Get ready for some BJJ! Omagov is an interesting subject. Even though he only got one win in MMA (over Begly) he got quite large fanbase. That's propably thanks to his amazing performance at TWGC3 where he went 5-1. Lost in the finals 16-7 on points. That just proves that his brown belt is for real. McQueen is undefeated in his mixed martial arts career. Won his first two bouts by submission early in first round. In his last fight he showed that he can still win even while being taken down at will. The Wolverine also got a solid chin. I'm smelling an upset in this one, although both fighters have the ability to end the fight anytime. Key for McQueen is too stay active on the ground, don't let Omagov get comfortable.

JW prediction: McQueen SUB R3

Thanks for reading everyone, take it easy on me this is my first preview after a loooooong break. Im still looking for a writer, if you are interested and would like to help SFC grow, hit me up I'm sure we can work it out. See you all tommorow at Paddy's Bar!

I got mine from actually working on my Jiu-Jitsu, you are actually a white belt but it turned brown after you wiped your ass with it constantly. Come September 7th, I will be making you tap out to a submission, and it will be hard for you to do anything then with a broken limb"

It's what you have all been waiting for it is the main card of SFC 4: Succom vs Woodley. This is going to be a great card where all fights will be tight. The winners will be staking a claim to be a challenger to the top of their divisions. However there is a stand out match which is the title fight between Yarik Succom v Tyron Woodley now lets get to the fights….

Light Heavyweight

Lorenzo Contrelle (1-0) v Vitor Moraga (1-0)

This fight is contested with two well rounded fighters looking to stake a claim to climb up their divison. Lorenzo has shown he can go all the way in a fight and be able to come out victorious. Lorenzo has shown he looks to take down his opponent to the ground and work on a submission. Lorenzo will be looking to show it wasn’t a flook and show that he can make the step from QFC to the competitive org of SFC. However looking to show he is destined for greatness is Vitor who is also shown he has the stamina to cope with a 5 round fight. In his last fight Vitor showed he has the power to rock his opponent and will be looking to do the same in this clash. He has extra pressure to show that he can cope under the roof of SFC. I can say that this is going to be a tough fight both looking to show they have the ability to climb to the top.

Prediction: Winner by Split decision Vitor Moraga

Heavyweight

Damian Grabowski (1-0) v Shinse Watanabe (3-0)

Both fighters have shown they can end a fight with KO’s to their names. This will be a hard hitting fight which will excite the fans. Damian is unknown and untested however in his first fight he sparked his opponent in the first 5 seconds shown he is a threat. However it is unknown whether he has the stamina to last the fight. Looking to stop the fight going to the end is Shinse he has shown he has the hitting ability to knock out an opponent. However this is the first time he is coming up against a hard hitting fighter so this will test is chin and ability to take shots. He has shown he has the ability to last a whole match so that will stand him in good stead against his opponent.

Prediction: Winner by KO 1st round Damian Grabowski

Heavyweight

Zheng Ming (2-0) v Fabricio Werdum (1-0)

Zheng is seen as a submission specialist however Fabricio has only one fight and won on majority so he is yet to show what he is capable of. Zheng will be fighting under the roof of SFC for the first time and will be looking to prove a point. He also has a great wrestling ability so will be able to put his boxing and wrestling together if the fight is taken to the ground. However looking to upset his opponent is the untested Fabricio who is only coming into his second professional fight and wanting to porve a point that he should be fighting among the best. He has shown he can last the whole fight which will give him an advantage as Zheng has never been to the end of a fight.

Prediction : Winner by TKO 2nd round Zheng Ming

Light Heavyweight TITLE BOUT

Yarik "The Disaster" Succom (5-0) vs Tyron Woodley (4-0)

The main card features two hard hitters however one still is ocasionally a submission specialist. Get ready for a brawl! Both fighters are making their debut for the Amsterdam based org. Yarik is a counter fighter so will look to bide his time and attack when he sees an opportunity. Yarik has the punching ability to finish this match. However, looking to stop that happening is the Sliders newcomer Tyron. He has shown he has the submission ability to cause problems on the ground and still enough ability to stay in the fight till the end. This shows he has great cardio and can take this fight to the final bell..

Prediction: Winner by Unanimous decision Tyron Woodley

Lightweight

Zach Barbery (4-2) v Mikhail Efremov (2-1)

This fight is going to be decided by the manager who sets the best tactics. Zach is shown he is a heavy hitter. However, also has a suspect chin as he was knocked out two fights ago. He is looking to bounce back following a two match losing streak. Zach will also be looking to show what he is made of due to it being his debut for SFC. However looking to stop him in his tracks is Mikhail who is a submission specialist. He will be looking stop this fight with a submission due to his lack of stand up ability. He is also making his debut under the SFC roof. This fight will be between to different styles of fighters however both trying to show they should be a force to be reckoned with.

Prediction : Zach Barbery KO win 2nd round

Main Card #1

Heavyweight Bout

"Warbringer" Jorma Varjonen [#7] (1-0) vs. Kenny "Fuggen" Powers (1-3)

First fight on the main card will feature two heavyweights in Varjonen and Powers. Warbringer is definitely something to talk about. This kid is only 17 but already have a brown belt in BJJ and some decent wrestling and boxing skills. He fought on very first SFC event, and although he got taken down in first seconds he got the sub just few moments after locking a beatiful triangle from his guard! It took him 47 seconds. Kenny Powers have the advantage in experience, and he have the tools to score a knock out in this fight. With his remarkable boxing he holds quite an advantage over Varjonen in stand up department. It's no secret that if Powers wants to win this fight he needs to avoid the ground and test Warbringer's chin with solid shots.

Main Card #2

Middleweight Bout

The Daxter (2-1) vs. Daniel Dominguez [#3] (3-0)

Great scrap in middleweight division. Daxter - coming of a loss at SFC1 against Shlemenko - will want to prove that he is still important in Middleweight division. He is a well-rounded fighter with some decent boxing. One thing we know is that The Daxter possess some serious knockout power as he has shown in his two first fights. In his fight against Shlemenko he was overwhelmed in the clinch, which showed some holes in his game. Dominguez is a very exciting prospect in middleweight division. Until now nobody could stop his takedown in his MMA career, and when he is on top, you are in danger. All of his fights ended in first round by knockout. He was never really tested standing up and Im sure thats what Daxter will try to do. Both guy can end eachother with one punch so you can expect an awesome fight from this one!

Main Card #3

Welterweight TITLE Bout

Jack "Big Mac" McDaniels [#1] (4-2) vs. Stowall Jackson [#4] (5-1)

First title bout of the evening features two heavy handed strikers. Both guys fought and won at SFC 1, our first event ever. McDaniels was never taken down in his career. Jackson is 3cm taller than Big Mac which should give him slight advantage standing up. This one is gonna be a battle of chins ladies and gentelmens. McDaniels got some wonderful boxing skills and KO power but he showed earlier in his career that it is possible to stop him with punches (loss against Lucius Hill, TKO R1). It was a long time ago and Im sure he made his adjustments since then though. Stowall Jackson, although lower ranked in the division is the favourite in my eyes. His only loss is a submission loss. Stowall likes to pressure his opponents and overwhelm them with a barrage of punches. Also in few fights he has shown that he can also kick pretty well, and I think that could make a difference in this fight. Jackson is a QFC Tournament 409 winner.

Main Card #4 Co-Main Event

Heavyweight Bout

Rodney Garcia[#1] (3-0) vs. Andres King [#3] (1-0)

In our Co-Main Event of the evening we have a No.1 contender bout. Winner of this fight will fight the winner of Ming/Ignashevich (SFC 9) for SFC Heavyweight title. Andres King made his professional debut at SFC 1. He showed some heart and great elbows. If there is one thing Garcia should be afraid of is King's clinch game. Rodney Garcia is one of the most dangerous contenders in SFC heavyweight division right now. He is a great boxer with an amazing chin, but also he is a BJJ purple belt with some decent offensive skills. In his most recent fight first he knocked his opponent down, then he submitted him. King should avoid the ground game at all costs, close the distance and work some elbows in the clinch. He holds quite an advantage in wrestling department over Rodney so he should put that to use.

Main Card #5 Main Event

Middleweight TITLE Bout

Vladimir "Storm" Shlemenko [#2] (4-0) vs. Brett Churchhill[#1] (5-1)

And now, the main event and also a MW title bout. Shlemenko has been quite succesful in his MMA career using one simple gameplan. Clinch up, spam elbows. He finished all of his opponents so far, most of them left with scars for life after taking one elbow after another. So far he has looked unstoppable in his career, none of his opponents really tested him. Brett Churchhill will try to. Coming from Andorra, Brett is a force in our MW division. He got five wins. Five knockouts. Four of them in first round, and three of them inside the first minute of the fight! Obviously Storm holds the advantage in the clinch, but he has shown no boxing skills until now, and if Brett can hit him clean few times this fight can get ugly for Vladimir. Honestly I believe that if Churchill can avoid the clinch, its gonna be an easy fight for him and he will get that belt.

Main Card #1

Heavyweight Bout

Miles "Wrecking Ball" David [#10] (3-1) vs. Marcus Goodman [#7] (2-0)

Miles David is a great wrestler. Thus far he landed 82% of his takedown attempts. He is dangerous with his ground and pound, he have an avg of 21 strikes per fight. He showed some holes in his submission game, as his only loss came by Armbar. Goodman coming from Canada is an undeafeated fighter with KO power in his hands. He is really well-rounded, but not really tested standup-wise. If he can stop David's takedowns and keep the fight on the feet he have good chance of winning this fight.

Main Card #2

Lightweight Bout

Lamino "Bam Bam" Durango [#9] (2-0) vs. "The Young Cub" Viktor Volkov [#3] (3-1)

Durango from Sweden against Volkov from Belarus. Both guys share similar gameplan of clinching with their opponents, working with strikes there or taking them down. Volkov is the better boxer so in this one he should look to win this fight on the feet, considering that Durango is the better grapler. Bam Bam is a blue belt in BJJ but he didnt show any offensive sub skills in his past fights. It should be a great fight.

Main Card #3

Light Heavyweight Bout

Test Ii "Dynamite" Fighter Ii [#4] (5-0) vs. Twitchy "Sam" Yosemite (2-0)

This fight have Knockout of the Night written all over it. Both guys finished 100% of their fights by KO. Although Dynamite is the better grappler I don't think he will try to take this fight to the ground. This fight is important in Light Heavyweight division as Dynamite might fight for the title soon if he wins this fight. Dynamite finished 4 out of 5 his opponents in first round. Yosemite finished his first opponent in Round 1, and his second he finished early in Round 2. This will be a battle of chins, and I don't expect it to go all three rounds.

Main Card #4 Co-Main Event

Light Heavyweight Bout

Niko Radic [#3] (2-0) vs. Vitor Moraga [#5] (2-0)

Niko Radic coming from Croatia is a very Strong boxer, but also has a purple belt in BJJ. Very dangerous guy who has shown that he can end the fight quickly with submission or a knockout. He debuted in SFC at SFC2 where he stopped his opponent really quickly with strikes. Moraga is a Wonderful muay thai specialist who loves to punish his opponents with leg kicks. He have an average of 37 strikes, 21 leg kicks, 8 body kicks and 5 head kicks landed per fight. He wasn't taken down yet in his MMA career so his ground game is not really tested and thats certain that Radic will do that. His debut at SFC was really succesful as he finished Lorenzo Contrelle in first Round after rocking him with huge head kick.

Main Card #5 Main Event

Welterweight No.1 Contender Bout

Remark Kabelis [#2] (4-0) vs Henrique Salas [#1] (4-0)

I'm sure SFC welterweight division is anticipating this bout as it's pretty obvious that the winner will fight Jack McDaniels for SFC Welterweight belt. Kabelis will make his SFC debut after he stormed through 4 QFC fights with 4 KO wins. He lands 75% of his GnP, and have an average of 14 strikes per fight on the ground so it proves that his KO power is for real. Salas will also make his SFC debut after going through the same amount of fights in QFC as Kabelis. Salas coming from Brazil is a Brown belt in BJJ and he has proven to be very creative on the ground finishing his fights with different submission every time (Americana, Kneebar, Armbar and Kimura). It will be interesting to see who will win this grappling war. Can Salas submit his opponent for a fifth time in a row? Perhaps. But there is a big chance that he can get knocked out if he stays on his back for too long. Kabelis is the better striker, but he has thrown 0 strikes standing up in his past fights.

A big thank you to the boss Jacob What for signing me up to Sliders FC. Hopefully I have just rewarded him with a glimpse of my potential with a successful debut fight against Zinandinjo, fair play to you for stepping in the cage with me and hope you don't spend too long in hospital too long with your broken jaw.

So who's brave enough to face me next? I see a lot of fighters already have fights booked but Maxwell and Keskitalo, are either of you two man enough to face me?

SFC 11 Preview

SFC is proud to present SFC 11: Churchhill vs Dominguez and the event is going to take place in The Underground on 28th Sep 2014. There are gonna be two title bouts on the line and the MW championship fight is headlining the event! This event is going to deliver!

Here is the prediction of the prelims fights in the card first:

LW bout: JR Cruz (0-1) vs Jack Burkman (0-2)

Prediction: Cruz by 1st round submission

WW bout: Rick Glen (1-1) vs Christopher Duffy (0-3)

Prediction: Duffy by UD

MW bout: The Daxter (2-2) vs Alex Villabueno (2-0)

Prediction: Villabueno by 1st round submission

LW bout: Sergej Smakov (2-1) vs Matt Hiller (1-2)

Prediction: Smakov by 2nd round TKO

LW bout: Mikhail Efremov (2-3) vs Frankie Silversteen (3-1)

Prediction: Efremov by 1st round submission

Here we go this is the preview of the main card:

LHW bout: Alex Meer (2-0) vs Kaleb Grimsson (1-0)

This is a striking battle between the boxer Meer and the MT striker Grimsson. I can't make sure who is winning this one as their striking level are the same. But I can see Meer isnt a KO artist by looking at his last fight so I don"t see he can knock Grimsson out. He is more a high volume puncher who would love to frustrate and outwork his foe with his accurate punches. So is Grimsson. Grimsson is a high volume striker who loves to mix up punches and leg kicks. I think those leg kicks will be the key to Grimsson's victory. I believe he can slow down Meer with those leg kicks as the fight goes longer and earn a decision win. Anyway, gonna be a good fight!

Prediction: Grimsson by UD

MW bout: Janko Bulk (3-0) vs Jake Greenberg (3-1) 1NC

This is another MT vs boxing matchup but they did put some points for their wrestling and BJJ too so they are quite well-rounded actually. Both men earned 5 victories by decision in their combined 6 wins and all Bulks wins are by decision so I don't see this fight will be last less than 15 minutes. Bulk can clinch, can takedown and can pull guard and Greenberg loves to box and sometimes will go for takedowns. I think Bulk can win this one with his clinch game because Bulk is better and confident in clinch and I dont see Greenberg can KO him with his average KO power.

Prediction: Bulk by UD

WW bout: Jerson Gracie (1-0) vs Blake Grreckon (3-1)

A classic matchup between a BJJ artist Gracie and a boxer Grreckon. Gracie won his MMA debut with takedowns and tons of submission attempts and Grreckson has earned 3 (T)KOs in his 3 wins and 2 of them are under a minute so perhaps Grreckon can pull off another quick KO win over Gracie but Gracie is not a counter fighter. He is the aggressor who can score early takedown before having trouble so I can see Gracie taking Grreckon down early in the fight and tap him out midway though the first round.

Prediction: Gracie by 1st round submission

Co-main event

LW title fight: Zach Barbery (6-2) vs Martin Begly (3-1)

The LW championship is on the line! The newly crowned, reigning and defending LW champion Barbery is facing the challenger Begly who is 2-0 inside the SFC cage. Both guys are great strikers so I cant wait to see how this fight will go down! Barbery is a heavy hitting boxer and Begly is a striking sensation with respectable boxing and MT so this stylistic striking battle is going to be really intriguing but I can see Barbery knocking Begly out early in the first round as all Barbery's wins are inside the first round with 5 inside a half of a round and 4 under a minute. The only way Begly can win is utilize his clinch or expose Barbery's questionable chin with his head kicks but before he can do that, he is already an unconscious man. Barbery is just too dangerous!

Prediction: Barbery by 1st round TKO (actually I am confident with Begly's chin.)

MAIN EVENT

MW title fight: Brett Churchhill (6-1) vs Daniel Dominguez (4-0)

Ladies and gentlemen, the main event is on the line! Its on the line! The MW champion Churchhill is looking to defend his title against the challenger Dominguez when the crowd is already in nuts! This is a fun matchup between a boxer and a GnP wrestler. Churchhill beat Shlemenko the hell out to get the belt and I thought Shlemenko was going to win. Churchhill just brutalized everyone with his powerful punches but his ground game is questionable as he tapped to a BJJ blue belt. Actually Churchhill has never got taken down so Dominguez is gonna let him know how the canvas feel. Dominguez is a high level wrestler with devastating GnP. If he can take this fight to the ground, Churchhill is done. I believe Dominguez can score an early takedown as always after he misses some and finally TKO him with GnP late in the first round. I am a bit biased though because I am Dominguez' fan.

Prediction: Dominguez by TKO late in 1st round and become the new MW champion

See you guys on Saturday night!

SFC 12 Preview

SFC is proud to present SFC 12: Killer vs Ulhaq on 5th Oct 2014 and this event is going to take place in The Underground - Amsterdam. Even though there are no title fights on the line, there are many exciting fighters in the card and fun stylistic matchups so this event is gonna be a firework!

Here is the prediction of the prelims fights:

LW bout: Mugsy Keller (1-1) vs Chance Bennett (0-0)

Prediction: Bennett by 1st round submission

WW bout: Bishop McQueen (3-2) vs Denis Churilov (2-1)

Prediction: McQueen by UD

WW bout: DeShawn Johnson (3-0) vs Vincente Otubro (1-1)

Prediction: Otubro via 2nd round submission

LHW bout: Test li Fighter li (5-1) vs Marcus Goodman (2-1)

Prediction: Fighter li via 1st round KO

WW bout: Aleksandr Chizhov (1-1) vs Vinnie Jones (2-1)

Prediction: Jones by 1st round submission

Here is the preview for the main card fights:

LHW bout: Miles David (4-1) vs Niko Radic (2-1)

This a fun matchup between a wrestler David and a Boxing/BJJ hybrid Radic. David is a good GnP wrestler who always soften guys up with some nasty GnP. Even though he has just 1 finish in his 4 wins, Davids wrestling is a big threat to Radic. As a fighter with relatively special style, Radic has shown that he can knock guys out with his boxing and tap guys out with his purple belt level Jiu-Jitsu. David will need to take Radic down and neutralize his BJJ with his GnP and ground control. Radic should keep the fight standing to enjoy the huge advantage. Actually I believe David can score an early takedown in each round and control Radic for three round because Radic isnt a pure grappler, he wont have enough submission skills to threaten him.

Prediction: David by UD

LW bout: Yip Man (2-0) vs Scarlet Storm (2-0)

Two undefeated ground fighters are ready to roll for the SFC VIP tournament semi-final bout! Man is a submission fighter with high level MT. I believe he wants to use those MT skills for defense only. Storm is a pure grappler with decent wrestling and purple belt level Jiu-Jitsu and he has better ground skills overall than Man. But Man has shown his guard is dangerous in his two only fights. I believe Storm can take Man down with his aggressive gameplan and Man tries hard to tap him out with his guard game. Anyway, Storm has better BJJ so he can overcome those submission attempts, soften Man up with his decent wrestling and even tap him out eventually after a round with fun scrambles. Mans zero will be taken and Storm will advance to final!

Prediction: Storm by 2nd round submission

LW bout: Odlan Omagov (2-1) vs Viktor Volkov (4-1)

This is an intriguing battle between two russians: Omagov, the BJJ expert and Volkov, the wrestle-boxer. Omagov has a huge advantage on the ground but Volkov has advantage in both standing and clinch. Volkov is a well-rounded fighter who loves to hurt his opponents with his decent boxing, dirty box with his wrestle-box skills and take guys down with his wrestling. His style is perfect as a wrestle-boxer. Volkov had been lost to a fighter who is as same as Omagov because he was too confident with his wrestling so he should just keep the fight standing or in the clinch to brutalize Omagov. Despite being a decision machine with all wins by decision, I believe Volkov can avoid takedowns from Omagov with his clinch and score his first finish in his career with his dirty boxing. I believe Volkov wont do the same fault again.

Prediction: Volkov by 1st round TKO

Co-main event

LHW bout: Vitor Moraga (3-0) vs Twitchy Yosemite (3-0)

This is the co-main event fight fans! There are two undefeated fighters clashing each other. Moraga is a MT striker and Yosemite is a boxer so a brutal striking battle is a must! Moraga is a high volume striker who loves to pick guys apart with his accurate punches and leg kicks. Yosemite is a powerful puncher from the outside but he has shown that he is also an effective dirty boxer in his last fight. I think Moraga can slow Yosemite down with his leg kicks but needs to protect his chin well. Yosemite has good dirty boxing but with Moragas MT, he is gonna break the clinch easily. Yosemite should take time to aim Moragas chin from the outside aggressively, hoping for an early KO or his legs are turning blue. Moraga has dominated a decent boxer before with his diverse attacks so I believe Moraga will do it to Yosemite but Moraga is gonna get hurt several times. Gonna be an exciting close fight!

Prediction: Moraga by UD

MAIN EVENT

WW bout: The Killer (3-0) vs Ismah Ulhaq (5-1)

Ladies and gentlemen this is the main event! The undefeated MT expert Killer is looking to keep his record perfect against the wrestling machine Ulhaq. Just as his name suggests, Killer has scored 3 first round (T)KOs in his 3 wins and showed that he is a killer who can destroy his opponents with deadly headkicks. Everytime his shin clashes his foes head, its either a knockdown or a knockout. Ulhaq should take this fight to the mat as soon as possible. Ulhaq is a dangerous GnP wrestler with busy submission attacks. Ulhaq has finished 4 fights by GnP and 1 by submission so if he can take Killer down, his busy offense would be too much for killer to handle. Ulhaq is also a game planner who can be aggressive or a counter wrestler. I believe Ulhaq can score an early takedown before Killer can score a kick and tap him out midway through the first round after some GnP attacks. I know killers striking is for real but Ulhaq has 71% takedown successful rate and thats why I am confident with him if he can go aggressive.

Prediction: Ulhaq by 1st round submission

See you guys on Sunday night!

Zheng "Wei" Ming (4-0)

I will defend my title against Rodney Garcia, a dangerous fighter with a good skillset. He is very good, very well-rounded, has really good BJJ skills. I respect what he has achieved in the sport, and I must agree I am not as well-rounded as him. He's a tough challenge, and I will have to bring my best to beat him. I'm one dimensional - I'm just a pure boxer with good defensive wrestling. I think me and Rodney are gonna have a standup fight, I trust in my Takedown Defense, I've never been taken down and I'm planning to continue not being taken down. It will all be about how we implement our stand-up game, and if he will go for a lot of takedowns - he will lose. He will gas out by trying to do them while I'll defend against everyone of them and I will tear him in striking.

I just want to warn you Rodney - even if you look better than me, I'm a world champion for a reason. I can pull this off :)

I would just like to say that I agree that Roy should have been considered the favorite to win his fight against me as his manager has over 100 wins while mine has less than 100 fights, so someone please let him know that when he wakes up
