I will showcase the skins and try to explain the idea behind the skins. Sometimes clients request special features on their skins and it may look a bit strange to someone who doesn't know the idea behind it. We can start with my first skin (and I actually believe that it's the first skin ever made in this game) which i made back in august (10th of august to be specific, if you know anyone who made skins before that let me know). I though I would do an experiment to see if this would actually work or if would look weird. First i thought that the part would be apart and that it would look unnatural, but it turnet out fine. This guys name is Samoa Rome and was from Samoa so i made shorts with Samoan flag. Client I made this for was so impressed (probably because no one else was doing this) that he actually payed the whole debt for my newly started company company (don't remember exactly now but I think I was payed 30000$ for this skin). http://a.imagehost.org/0221/SAMOA_CUSTOM_WHOLE.png After that skin I got a couple of requests from other people to make skins for them, the I got many requests at same time and had tom make the quick, so the quality of those wasn't exactly good. After these, I had a new semester starting at university so I dropped this game and focused on the studies. When I came back to the game my company was gone and the whole "skin making industry" (don't know what else to call it) has evolved a lot. I understood that the way I made skins before wasn't going to cut it, I understood that i had to put more effort into the skins. He wanted his fighter to have glasses with one lens like this picture: http://www.wu-international.com/images/ODB%20Source%20cover.jpg He also wanted his fighter to have a Wu tang tattoo and some BLING .. shoorik1987 Posted December 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 18, 2009 Made a new skin for a fighter named Dan "The Bull" Bowbish Client didn't want him to look to long, but rather short and muscular.. i think I succeeded. He doesn't look long,but at the same time you can tell that he's a Heavy Weight. Client also wanted a bull tattoo (I put it on he chest) and "Chowprayer" on the gut, did that as well. I also added a naked angel chick tattoo on the shoulder, think it looks bad ass. I edited his face (as you probably can see), made him look angry to add a bit personality (he really didn't look like "The Bull" before). Client requested tight old school wrestling shorts for this guy, I made those also. http://i.imagehost.org/0561/bowbish.png I'm thinking about making a pair of those to have in my store. I was looking through his fighters and saw this guy... he had a bushido t-shirt and a kilt. When i saw the kilt I got an idea and suggested to him that I could make a "Braveheart looking" skin out of him.
