  2. Hi there. Do you have a big fight coming up? Are you just not quite sure on what to do or just need a second opinion? Well I'm you man. I ran this business when I first started the game and was poor and shit (Oh the good old days of 250 across the board) and well gym fee's are starting to eat me alive so I thought I would start it up again. For a fee depending on the quality of fight, I will look over your opp. Tell you what I think his weaknesses are and go through your silders with you one by one and tell you what I would change and why I would change it. Hopefully this gives you a better grasp of what to do next time and you don't need my help in the future. Also I don't ask for payment if you lose the fight. If I tell you what i think would win and you lose i don't really have a right to get paid do I? I will also for a smaller fee just tell you what I think would be the best way to win with what you have but I won't go indepth with the silders as a cheaper deal for those who would rather go that route but as I said before all fee's will depend on the quality of fight and by quality I mean ranking wise lol. One last thing I don't assit against fellow pit members or a handful of people. But I am sure 90% of the time that wouldn't come up. Anyways PM me in game if you are interested and we will work out a chat time or I will ingame mail you but chat is a lot easier I like input as well so I can know you understand what I am explaining and you can ask questions. P.S. Please don't hit me with a fight within a few hours of fight time. If I am not on right that second probably not gonna have time to look it over try to give me a few days

  4. I think we all can safely say that this game is much, much better and more enjoyable an experience as a VIP user than it is a non-VIP and that's not just the ability to make a company, but all the doors that are opened in terms of access to information, too. I don't know about anyone else, but pretty much 90% of my time or more with the game is spent with information only a VIP has access to. I'm just wondering, do non-VIPs ever actually stick around in this game, playing long-term as non-VIPs, or are the only two paths a non-VIP can take in this game pretty much: 1) To realize how great it is and to upgrade to VIP. 2) To get bored due to the limitations of non-VIP and go inactive. Maybe there is a large contingent of less diehards who stick with this game for the long haul just as a non-VIP, maybe logging in only a couple times a week to check up and nothing more, and just don't feel the need to spend money on it. I'm just wondering though, have you guys ever seen many instances of long-term non-VIPs who actually stick with the game, or are most of them destined to either flame out (the majority) or upgrade (the minority)?

  5. Again i wasn't talking about Scientist. As i clarified in my last post. I was talking about the "enthusiastic amateurs" you mentioned before. Those are the ones who publicly use it to argue other beliefs and believe the theory like a religion in itself. I will try to find what i saw. Im not sure if it was the only reason by was the one i remember. It was like 1 degree or less fluctuation or something.

  6. I'm not a relgious person. I was raised Catholic but have since, lapsed. My fiance and I live next to a church, literally, I go out in my back yard, look to the right, and there's a Methodist Church. I have about ten yards of property, and then there's a church parking lot. I have been invited over more times than I can count, and I just smile and say thank you. I don't say "You're religion is bull and you're all a bunch of weak-minded sheep who can't fathom that there is nothing after this life other than worm food. You people cause wars and death and are the root of all evil." Just like they don't come at me and say "You need to be saved, stop your partying and living together in sin without being married. You will burn in hell for all eternity." I guess the point I'm trying to make is, most people aren't assholes.

  7. I personally don't feel that anyone is truly agnostic without being theist or atheist. Every person that I have talked to in person who has claimed to be agnostic will actually hold the position of one or the other while claiming they can't say for certain. Generally claiming agnosticism is due to not really understanding atheism, or trying to come off as more passivist in a crowd. Holding an agnostic viewpoint does not keep you from being either theist or atheist. Atheism is simply the absence of belief in a deity. Meaning, if you don't BELIEVE a deity exists, then you are atheist. Atheism DOES NOT mean that you are vehemently opposed to a deity existing. If you claim uncertainty, which many atheists do, then you are simply an agnostic atheist. What most people don't understand about atheism is that the only thing similar from one atheist to another is that they have a lack of belief in a god(s), just as all religions have theism in common. Many atheists have different views or "beliefs" on various subjects and they should not be lumped together under one thought process. I challenge everyone who claims agnosticism to truly ask yourself if you BELIEVE in a deity or not. Not whether or not you think there is a possibility one could exist, just if you actually believe that one does. If you DO believe a deity exists, then you are theist. If you lack that belief, you are atheist. The decision to be agnostic comes after the fact, labeling you either an agnostic theist or an agnostic atheist.

  8. These thoughts are ignorant to what it means to be atheist. Plenty of atheists are agnostic atheists, in that they take the position that there is no god due to a lack of any evidence of one, however they will never deny the possibility of one existing as a true atheist and scientifically minded person is never 100% sure of anything, but is always on a mission to become as close to 100% as they can. This is the vast majority of atheists, and generally those you never hear of because the extremists are too loud.

  11. The first thing I learned as an MMA Tycoon player was that sliders was really important and so is training. Now that I'm more experience, I think I understand sliders better and have better training and as a result I win more often. Without a doubt, VIP makes this game a lot better. I would like all non-VIP players the chance to try it out, and I'm sure once they try it they'll want to keep it and so will buy VIP. Tbh, I was quite apprehensive about getting VIP, though I'm glad that I did get it. And I'll definately be renewing my VIP.

  12. I am not religious but I would never try and convince someone who is religious to become an athiest. I think it's better to be religious, it makes life a lot easier. I don't like evangelical religion which goes directly against e.g. evolution though. I had some Jehovas Witnesses wake me up the other day and thrust a ridiculous leaflet about creationism into my hands. I spent a couple of hours reading through it and it was flat out incorrect from front cover to back. So whilst I will never have a problem with religion as a concept, it does annoy me when Dorothy from Macclesfield tries to tell me evolution doesn't exist, as if she knows more about paleontology than a paleontologist. I agree that people would find something to fight about if there wasn't any religion too. Though I think there is a difference if there is no heaven... you're not so likely to die for X if you don't think there's a heaven. It doesn't mean you're less likely to kill though, so there are pros and cons to either side. Specifically relating to MMA, I think we should be grateful to religion. It gives people peace of mind before stepping into a cage "knowing" that if they die they'll be OK. I know hardly any MMA fighters that are atheists. I asked Jordan Breen once and I think he came up with one, plus Dana White. As for my own belief about religion, it seems to just be people's best estimate of the world around them, at the time the teachings were written. If you read Genesis, it's just someone's best estimate of how the world works, written by someone who doesn't know how the world works. "and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night." OK, if you don't know that we're on a massive ball of molten rock spinning around a nuclear fusion reactor 93 million of miles away, it makes sense to assume that light and dark are two different concepts created by or controlled by some god. And it was so. 16 And God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also. Same goes for this. They couldn't know the light from the moon was a reflection from the sun, so they assume it's an independent source of light, which is a perfectly reasonable assumption if you don't know any better - an assumption any of us would make if we didn't know any better. As for the stars, we only knew for sure that there was more than one galaxy in about 1915ish, so you can't expect someone 2000 years ago to understand how stars are formed. “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” So the assumption here was that the blueness of the sky was because there was water up there. Again, that's a perfectly reasonable explanation if you know no better. People hadn't flown. There was no concept of outer space, so what was up there? Well it rained, so it must be water. Again, reasonable assumption. Anyway, you can go on... Let me just give one more quick example. The geologist who found that granite was an igneous rock, so was formerly a liquid, was accused of blasphemy because God created granite as the bedrock of the earth. My point is, until you find proof of something, you can't begrudge someone for trying to make sense of it. That's all religion was, when religions were being formed. Whether the earth is on the back of a giant turtle and that turtle is on the back of another turtle, all the way to infinity, or it's God creating man from dust and woman from a rib, it's all just people trying to make the best sense of what they see around them. Obviously where religion becomes silly is when it actively avoids new information. I don't hope that science replaces religion but I do hope that religious people avoid fighting with science because at the end of the day, science is just doing what religion used to do; try and understand what's going on in the world around us.

  13. All religions in the world are about peace , then some others guys try to changed it and used it to convince some fools to make some war , I was thinking to write something and really struggle to explain it correctly then i see mannetosen post like he told it's all about mass manipulation .

  15. Well said. To add, IMHO media and all kinds of extremists make many things look way worse than they are in reality. Thats why I hate media. It's a tool to control the masses. No news is good news.

  19. http://video.ufc.tv/130/hamill-site-screengrab.JPGHamill - Matt Hamill Matt Hamill’s story of triumphing in collegiate wrestling and then MMA despite being deaf has inspired fans worldwide and, now, a film adaptation of his life. The Ultimate Fighter season 3 alum’s amazing journey is chronicled in this coming of age drama and Hamill is played masterfully by young actor Russell Harvard. Co-starring in the film, which hits theaters this fall after racking up an armful of festival awards: Hamill's friend and former opponent, Rich “Ace†Franklin. Fightville - Dustin Poirier and Tim Credeur It’s the new American dream: professional MMA fighter. An engaging and gritty documentary about what it means to fight in the cage and what it takes to succeed at it, the film follows now-UFC featherweight Dustin “The Diamond†Poirier as he starts in local Louisiana shows. It also showcases TUF's "Crazy Tim" in his real-life role as coach and mentor. Recently bought by Showtime, this doc picked up major buzz when it was accepted earlier this year into the South by Southwest film festival and screened at the Hot Docs festival in Toronto last month. Watch trailer Once I Was a Champion - Evan Tanner This beautiful retrospective of the former UFC middleweight champion also offers an unflinching look at his life. Evan Tanner was a fan favorite with his gutsy in-ring performances. Outside the cage, Tanner was a deeply emotional person who remained a constant mystery to even his closest friends. This documentary presents an evolving image of the famed fighter through myriad interviews after his untimely death. Like Water - Anderson Silva This documentary follows the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion and P4P great in preparation for his highly-publicized title defense against Chael Sonnen at UFC 117. It’s a peek into “The Spider’s†training, friendships, family, and fighting philosophy. It also features some rare insights into what went into the victory over Sonnen, such as his rib injury and his specific plan to win via submission. Legacy - Renzo Gracie From Renzo Gracie’s bare-knuckle fights in Brazil to his historic MMA matches in front of 40,000+ in Japan, an incomprehensible 10 years of filming went into this documentary, showing the drastic changes the world of MMA has gone through all while following easily one of its greatest personalities. “Legacy†is truly a testament to a highly respected fighter, teacher and ambassador of MMA. The movie also features much of Gracie’s much loved candor, which will certainly make you a huge fan if you aren’t already (which you should be). Watch trailer The Striking Truth - Georges St-Pierre and David Loiseau The most famous name in MMA today is UFC Welterweight Champion Georges “Rush†St-Pierre. This behind-the-scenes documentary charts four years of both St-Pierre’s career, and that of former UFC fighter and teammate/friend David “The Crow†Loiseau. It is a rare look into the personal and professional lives of two UFC fighters for an extended period of time. The two stories are told through an unfiltered lens, showing both their victories and their defeat in its rawest form. Choke - Rickson Gracie A truly must see for MMA diehards is the classic documentary of the ever-enigmatic and near mythical Rickson Gracie. “Choke†reveals the human side of the long considered greatest Gracie Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. The movie focuses on Gracie’s training leading up to the 1995 Vale Tudo tournament in Tokyo, Japan as well as the three fights themselves. As engrossing as Rickson Gracie is, the quiet star of the film is the charismatic Royler Gracie. Watch the famous workout scene View the full article

  23. Everything i told is correct, probably bad explain and with shortcut but correct ,just watch the theory they had in physics or biologie 200-300 years ago ,or everey 5 years some medecine are forbidden because they have bad effects they wasn't aware(i don't tell physics or biology are useless ) . I would be glad if you could point my mistakes . My main point was the issue people have with religion is about the theory of evolution , wich is a biology theory and was never prooved ; bioly scientist are the less rigorous scientist and it's not surprizing they are the guy who will tell you "i'm sure god doesn't exist " . The only thing sure about god is actually no one can prove he exist or don't exist , so any guy like the thread author who will tell "religion is idiotic ,science is the truth god don't exist" is as religious as other religious people . When you believe "god don't exist" you believe in something , so it's all about your faith and faith =religion .

  24. trip take down in the clinch? something. I guess my direct question is to the developer concerning the advantages(skill vs physical attributes) of making shorter or taller fighters. A tall guy can be a great wrestler and a short guy can be a great boxer. reach and height should give a very slight advantage not a 20 or 30 point curve. Damn voted my post down on accident. Stupid...like my fight plan i guess.

  25. +1 but you can't just implement it now, it's too late the only way to save ground game is to make Stand-ups less frequent

  26. We have the choice of Natural KO power when we create a fighter, so why don't we have something for the ground guys like "natural grappling ability" or "natural grappler"? I know i'll probably get my head torn off for this suggestion but i think it would even out the stand up advantage we currently have and the natural KO power hidden, making the ground and stand up games more even without changing the whole system more towards the ground game. What do you guys think?
