  1. So this happened to my fighter last night at OFC 200, just before retiring... http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/sub.gif Haim goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Dama does a handstand and catches Haim in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Dama on top - Haim is already out from the submission! Dama gives Haim's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero! Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (TDPW) . Genki Dama! Never seen that happen before, what a way to go out, haha.

  3. Dominance 9 PREVIEW Hi there fight fans! Here we are again with another massive card at Dominance 9 – Hale vs Morales. This card has got the potential to live up to the last Dominance, which some are already claiming to be the best fight card in the organisations history. We’ll have to wait and see! The under-card is a good mix of weight classes, with all the fighters being very solid. The 5 fights are: · Brock Barnett vs Apollo Creed · Alexader Gorlanov vs Milton Blahyi · Charlie Daniels vs Fraz Dexter · Jon Trap vs George Anthony · Borys Yviekin vs Kelo Bowser The most highly anticipated fight on the under-card is possibly Alexader Gorlanov vs Milton Blahyi. Both fighters are very even in skill and fight with a similar style. They both have a flair for finishing, which should make this a great warm up for the main card along with the other top notch under-card fights. Now onto the main card, and wow, this isn't going to be a sleeper. 205 - Karl Boerling vs Aleksei Ljosha Putin The first fight of the main card is simply going to be crazy. Both fighters are strong finishers, with high gas tanks and a knack for being able to put you away in the first few minutes. Boerling is a very decent wrestler, and he looks to use his talent to gain top position and inflict as much damage as he can. Putin needs to keep the fight standing and then use his own wrestling to clinch and display his sensational muay thai. Both fighters are coming into the fight with solid records, and Putin is undefeated. This means that both guys are not far off a title shot if they can get one or two big wins. I think, although the fighters are very similar in size and strength, if Putin can get the clinch it is game over for Boerling who can’t match up to Putin’s muay thai. I've got Putin by TKO. 170 – Renka Susi vs Jack Hoffman This is a very intriguing fight as both guys need a win. Susi needs to win to prove that he belongs at Dominance, and to show his intent in the 170 division. Hoffman needs the win as he is 3-0 in Dominance, and one more impressive finish would almost certainly give him a title shot. On paper, it just shouldn't be Hoffman’s day. But, this is said every time he fights and then he goes and knocks his opponent out with ease. He is a much smaller fighter, and Susi is arguably much better in all aspects of the fight game, bar boxing. But this boxing advantage is Hoffman’s main weapon. Renka Susi is a very well rounded fighter. He has great boxing and muay thai, and a very strong grappling arsenal. He is a brown belt, which when compared with Hoffman’s white belt, is a strong advantage. Susi will be looking to dominate in his first fight here at Dominance, which could spell the end of Hoffman’s run. I think Susi takes it, as much as I love Hoffman’s stand and bang style. I think all Susi needs to do is get it to the mat and it’s all done. I’ll go with Susi by submission (or TKO). 205 – Title Fight! – Dawn Keebals vs Alexi Chatzikomninos Now this will be interesting. Keebals is coming into this as the champ, riding a 3 fight win streak. He is facing off against Chatzikomninos who is an undefeated 19 year old stud. Both fighters prefer the wrestling, ground and pound style. But Keebals also has some heavy hands on the feet which gives him possibly a better chance than Chatzikomninos at winning. One possible variable for Keebals is that he hasn’t fought in a while, whereas Chatzikomninos has been fighting more regularly. Also, his jiu-jitsu isn't to the same level of Chatzikomninos, who is a purple belt. For Keebals to defend his title, he needs to try to keep it standing and pick off Chatzikomninos. He definitely has the boxing skill to do so, and his heavy hands could easily put the 19 year old to sleep if he lands well enough. However, Keebals needs to avoid being taken down more than anything. Chatzikomninos will have a field day in Keebals’ guard and could finish it with strikes or a TKO. I think that Chatzikomninos is on a great win streak, and for his age he is an outstanding fighter. Even though I believe Keebals has great striking, I think that if Chatzikomninos can take him down it’s over. I'm going with Chatzikomninos winning buy unanimous decision. 170 – Dennins Daniels vs Troy Lancaster This is a number one contender match-up, and from this fight we will see who truly deserves a title shot. This fight is a little strange, as both fighters are very similar in fighting style. Both are very comfortable wrestlers, and rely mostly on that to win them fights. Both are similar in physique, despite Lancaster being a fair bit taller. Both men aren't scared to go for the finish; Lancaster in particular has won all his bouts by TKO. Some would say that Daniels is the favourite, based on a number of things. One reason being that he has just faced the champ Brandon Hale, and unfortunately lost via TKO. Another reason is that he is arguably better-rounded. A final reason is that he can finish in different ways, whereas Lancaster only really looks for the ground and pound. Lancaster is a devastating ground striker, and his constant pressure on the ground forces his opponents to throw out their game plans and simply defend. His wrestling ability is sensational, which he will rely on to stop Daniels from striking and plant him on his back. I think this fight could honestly go either way. It all depends on who has prepared better, and who wants it more. If I have to make a choice, I think that Daniels takes it if he can stay calm on the mat and strike well on his feet. 170 – Title Fight! – Juan Morales vs Brandon Hale Now we get to the main event, and what a way to finish the card! Morales is a new signing at Dominance, but his work in other organisations has had him being a talking point for many MMA fans for a while now. At the age of 20, he has already had 10 fights, boasting a 9-1 record. He is a very intelligent fighter, who is not afraid of going the distance. He holds 6 wins by unanimous decision, all were truly dominant performances. He is very well rounded and can take the fight anywhere, which will be a hard task against the champ Brandon Hale. Brandon Hale has been the champion of the welterweight division since Dominance 2, when he brutally knocked out Anton Zeman in just 14 seconds. He has since asserted his power by battering Dennins Daniels to retain the title. At just 21, this young man has become an all-time fan favourite at Dominance, with all his fights being KO or TKO wins. Morales and Hale both have very similar skill-sets. Both men are purple belts. Both are very high level wrestlers, and both have strong stand-up striking. This could make it fireworks where ever this fight ends up. I can’t see this one going to the judges; I think Hale will have to put Morales out and vice versa. It should be an amazing fight and if I have to make a pick, I’d go with Hale, as he is more determined than ever to keep the belt. Looking forward to this massively! And that’s the card ladies and gentlemen! Hope to see you all there going nuts over yet another amazing Dominance card! Written by Josh Robinson.

"All right settle down bitches, I'm not here to talk shit for a change, I come bearing gifts for all you tournament lovers. Speaking of tournaments, have I ever mentioned that I once won 15 consecutive tournament fights, knocking out every last one of them?" 8. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/5/5w7.jpg Jaques Du Coudray _ 23 yo _ 270 lbs _ 9 victories - 3 defeats The forefront of the Williams' camp's recently introduced youth generation, Du Coudray has quickly been making a name for himself over at Galaxy. Currently riding a four fight winning streak, Du Coudray seems to have recently discovered the knockout artist within himself, having dispatched his two last opponents via first round KO, both within the span of two minutes. His upcoming fight against Rank Rox looks to be his biggest challenge to date, an undefeated prospect fighter who appears to favour the stand and bang side of MMA himself. If Du Coudray were to defeat Rox, he would place himself at the forefront of the Galaxy heavyweight division and could very well put himself in line for a title shot, but can he pull it off? Whatever the case, Du Coudray appears to be on the rise, and is definitely panning out to be a man to watch within the Williams stable. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w5.jpg Icarus Ritter _ 23 yo _ 300lbs _ 8 victories - 1 defeats Speaking of KO artists to watch, Ritter has proven himself to be a force to reckon with for anyone he steps into the cage with. While having suffered his first loss at the hands of Jukka Omena in the last year, Ritter nevertheless continues his knockout ways, with all of his victories coming via a speedy KO. The heavy favourite in his upcoming bout for the super-heavyweight title of Hilo based Fallen Champions, Ritter's career appears to be speedily on the rise as well, the power in his fists as well as his defined chin and heart diminished only by his tendency to be somewhat distracted during training. Given that MMA is a performance based sport, however, this appears a small price to pay, and Icarus is quickly making a name for himself in the MMA world. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/18/18w13.jpg Owen Glyde _ 23 yo _ 210lbs _ 9 victories - 3 defeats The source of some controversy in the Williams stable, due to his current status as the REVO light heavyweight champion, an organisation co-owned by Mr. Williams himself, Glyde's accomplishments have often been overlooked as a result. Whether the claims of favouritism are true or not, Glyde's performance in the cage simply cannot be ignored. With none of his victories going the distance, Glyde is well versed in both the art of knockout and submission, but it is his submission prowess that puts most of his opponents on notice. With an astounding 57% of his submission attempts ending in success, Glyde's brown belt is more than just for show, and this young light heavyweight is a tricky fighter for the most accomplished competitor to deal with. Currently fighting with a 100k bounty and his REVO career hanging on the line, it remains to be seen how long this young fighter's success will continue, but for the time being, Glyde appears to be yet another success story for the Williams stable's 'Youth Generation' efforts. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/10/10w20.jpg Reginald Francis Colon _ 23 yo _ 143lbs _ 9 victories - 2 defeats When it comes to the 'Youth Generation' efforts, however, nobody has proven to be a bigger surprise than young Francis Colon. Kicking his career off to an iffy start, being the only one to suffer a defeat amongst his peers on his debut, Colon has since gone 9 and 1, most recently defeated Dan Swanson in a superfight which required him to go up not one, not two, but three weightclasses in order to take the fight. Giving up nearly thirty pounds and over twenty-five centimetres of height to his opponent, Colon would not be intimidated, swiftly nailing his opponent with two takedowns and, towards the end of the first round, a bout ending submission that would see Colon's stock rise to the top of both the Galaxy organisation, and the Williams stable as well, even beating out veteran Zane Peltier in his efforts. If young Francis Colon can achieve this at only 23 years of age, one can only imagine what he will achieve at his peak. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/36/36w13.jpg Jack Bruin _ 23 yo _ 175lbs _ 6 victories - 2 defeats In our last article, we wondered whether or not Bruin was destined to be the Resso of his generation. And while, looking at it now, that may not technically be deemed a terrible thing anymore, at the time, it was less that desirable. Bruin has managed to shake off any such notions though, managing a relatively successful year at 3 - 2. Certainly not to the extent of his fellow 'Youth Generation' fighters, but Bruin appears to be riding a hot streak now with three consecutive victories. Oddly enough, it appears as though Bruin has more trouble with fighters he appears to be, on paper, a favourable match against, while thriving instead against opponents who should, in every right, give him trouble. How successful Bruin can be remains to be seen, but as of this moment in time, he places himself as one of the top welterweights over in Galaxy, and another victory could very well see him towards title aspirations. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w27.jpg Jun Moroba _ 23 yo _ 157lbs _ 8 victories - 3 defeats Moroba has had a questionable year. Not his record, persay, although he certainly lost his undefeated status in the process. A participant in the Season Five EPL - Junior Edition, Moroba, with a 4-0 record at the time, entered as a heavy favourite. Since entering, however, his performance has suffered, and his abilities appear to have been exposed as somewhat overhyped. While still respectable, his failure to finish Alpa Chino in the opening fight was a telltale sign of things to come. Losing his cage virginity to Karl Socha in his second fight at EPL via second round KO after failing to finish him in the first round, despite obtaining mount position for the better part of two minutes, Moroba would suffer two more upset defeats at the hands of Nate Ross and Barry Allen before finally re-discovering his groove at dispatching his final two opponents, one via third round submission and the other with a twenty second KO. Finishing in his half of the league in fourth place, Moroba now must face Aikawa in an eliminator to earn his right into the final tournament. Whether Moroba can shake off his past lackluster performances and bring his all to the cage is still up in the air, but if he can channel the Moroba that we have seen in his past two fights, we at MMA Universal believe he stands more than a fighting chance. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w23.jpg Stu Mercer _ 20yo _ 252 lbs _ 3 victory - 0 defeats Stu Mercer was the youngest fighter on the Williams stable roster as of last year, but it appears as though he has wasted absolutely no time at all in starting his career off. Signing on to participate in premiere organisation, Synchronicity's SHW Youth Tournament, Mercer has beaten back all opposition sent his way via KO, and now heads into the finals against Jason Smith stable's own Shane Ripgut. If Mercer were to defeat Ripgut and win a tournament hosted by Synchronicity this early on in this career, then he would be off to an extremely promising start. Knowing the management stylings of Jason Smith, however, Mercer could very well be in for a tough fight. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w4.jpg Dion Devlin _ 17yo _ 197 lbs _ 2 victory - 1 defeats The youngest fighter to ever be recruited into the Williams stable, Devlin suffered a quick debut defeat at the young age of sixteen, before being put into an intense training regime by his management. Not one with the patience to sit on the sidelines, however, Devlin would insist he see some action, and it was with some reluctance that Mr. Williams would therefore place him in the REVO middleweight division to hone his skills. Now, Devlin bears the privilege of perhaps being the youngest champion in professional MMA to date, winning the title in his last outing against a highly favoured submission artist, Jimmy Pistol. The achievement is somewhat diminished by the controversy afore mentioned with Glyde, also applying to Devlin, but somehow, we here at MMA Universal doubt that young Devlin cares. That 50k bounty on his head, on the other hand, might be a tad more intimidating. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/13/13b8.jpg Dolph Hanrahan _ 19yo _ 230 lbs _ 1 victory - 0 defeats A new generation fighter being housed in the Williams stable, little is known about Hanrahan besides the fact that his performance in his debut upon the QFC circuit indicates that he prefers wrestling over any other aspect of his game. This did little to help him in his shortlived participation in the TWGC, where he would lose in the first round, but at the young age of 19 years old, there is still much space for improvement, and if the previous youth generation is anything to go by, Hanrahan will be receiving elite training in order to reach a competitive level. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w7.jpg Steve Turner _ 19yo _ 175 lbs _ 6 victory - 1 defeats Until recently, Turner was one of only several undefeated fighters on the newly introduced 'The Island', where fighters were sent to compete on an all even scale. Suffering his first defeat in only his last outing, Turner will be looking to redeem himself in only a few short hours and place his name amongst only a handful of fighters with 7+ victories to their name. Despite his success on the Island, however, Turner remains surprisingly unrecognised, with his name not being placed upon any top lists of the division, or the city in general.

  11. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3b13.jpg VS. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w13.jpg Merik Hunt (25-12) vs. Rufus Soderberg (16-3) http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20130810030204image.jpg Next up on the card will be 5 rounds for the Evolution 170lbs championship as champion Merik Hunt looks to successfully defend his title for the 2nd time when he takes on dangerous BJJ expert Rufus Soderberg. Merik Hunt won the title by defeating Sinuhe Egyptian in a close 48-47 unanimous decision victory but then dropped a decision in a super-fight against Pluto Palhares. Hunt showed the heart of a champion and looked impressive coming off the loss when he successfully defended his title by stopping Karri Vahti with strikes on the ground. Hunt is a decent kick-boxer who mixes up his strikes well on the feet but it is no secret he’s looking for every opportunity to get the fight to the ground and averages over 4.5 takedown attempts per fight with a success rate of 43%. It will be interesting to see if he’s willing to play in the guard of a BJJ red-belt. Rufus Soderberg looked great in his Evolution debut by out-grappling Holden Gracie before securing the triangle submission mid-way through the 3rd round. Soderberg isn’t nearly as skilled a striker on the feet as his opponent but he is deadly on the ground and has finished 4 of his last 5 fights there. If Soderberg is able to get this fight to the ground early and wear down Hunt for the later rounds he has a really good chance at pulling off the upset and winning the title in just his 2nd appearance in an Evolution cage. Randy: “I’m going to take Merrik Hunt in this fight. I think he’s better on the feet and while I don’t think he’ll complete neglect his wrestling game I do think he’ll try to keep this fight on the feet for most of the fight where he should have no problem out-landing his opponent. I think Hunt gets to the mount position later in the fight and pounds Soderberg out. We’ll say 4th round.” Tonal: "If Hunt tries to strike I think it will be a slow fight. He's not that great of a striker and if he goes aggressive he will get punished with counter takedowns and lose the fight. If he plays passive whoever lands a td or two wins it. I think Rufus takes it by decision. I hope Hunt does go for the td though, it would be excting to see that aggressive gnp vs such a great sub game." http://i1344.photobucket.com/albums/p651/shortfusenwo/29eaba93-e8b3-48e1-8f03-e0cc96639de7_zps13bb80ac.jpg VS. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2b16.jpg Smokodju Womba (31-6-1) vs. A.J. Hearts (24-3) Smokodju Womba was 9-0-1 in his last 10 fights before Ryo Narushima knocked him out in the 1st round defending his light-heavyweight championship and spoiling Womba’s Evolution debut. Womba rebounded nicely with a 1st round submission victory over Benjamin Grundy and looks to make it two fights in a row when he takes on A.J. Hearts in a super-fight. Womba desperately wants to get back in the cage with 205lbs champion Ryo Narushima and he could take a giant step toward achieving that goal by defeating another top 20 p4p fighter in Hearts. Womba comes forward behind his punches and kicks but is always looking to get fights to the ground averaging over 6 takedown attempts a fight in his career. Smokodju is very dangerous anywhere on the ground and is constantly throwing up submission attempts as he tries to gain the dominant position. Womba is extremely dangerous when on his back in guard and has 8 submissions from guard in his career. His opponent tonight brings an impressive streak into this fight going 15-1 in his last 16 fights twice winning the SPFT light-heavyweight championship and defending it on 7 occasions. Hearts is an Olympic caliber wrestler and holds a BJJ brown belt. Hearts is terrific at dictating where fights take place landing 2 takedowns per fight at a 42% success rate while also possessing 84% takedown defense. Hearts has good knock-out power and likes to gain dominant positions and land big blows from the top position. A win for either of these fighters will have them knocking on the door of cracking the top 10 p4p and land them a potential shot at Narushima in the future. Randy: “I don’t know much about A.J. Hearts but he’s beaten some pretty good fighters and I know his manager is top-notch so I believe the kid is for real. I just have a really hard time picking anybody in a ground battle against Womba. That guy is dangerous from dominant positions and he’s maybe even more dangerous when opponents lay in his guard. I say Hearts lands the takedown and gets caught in a submission from the top position.” Tonal: "I'm thinking along the same lines except I don't see Womba landing the sub. Hearts will spend more time on top and take the decision." http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/6/6b4.jpg VS. http://i1344.photobucket.com/albums/p651/shortfusenwo/DonMarciano_zps0b1edbc7.jpg Don Marciano (41-8-2) vs. Art Vandalay (26-4) Our co-main event of the evening is scheduled to go 5 rounds in the heavyweight division when former Empire 265lbs champion Don Marciano looks to make it 3 in a row since joining the organization when he takes on elite-level muay-thai striker Art Vandalay. Marciano has looked impressive since coming over from Empire knocking out former champions Alistair Overeem and Arnie Ironz in the first round in back to back fights. There is no secret that Marciano would like a fight against Kyle Carlton should he be victorious in the main-event later on the card. Marciano comes out fast and furious from the opening bell and looks to land heavy blows early in fights and then swarm his opponents when he has them hurt or tired. Marciano leads mostly with punches to the head and body but also fires a lot of low kicks to the leg and body of his opponents as he tries to slow them down. Marciano is 1 of the best in the business at finish opponents when he sees blood in the water and has 36 knockout victories in his career. Vandalay is 7-2 since moving to heavyweight including a 4-1 record in Evolution winning the last 4 fights since dropping a decision in his debut with the organization. Vandalay equally mixes up his punches and kicks and likes to mix up his shots to the leg, body and head pretty equally. Vandalay also likes to tackle his opponents against the cage in the clinch position where he will unleash a fury of an attack that includes all limbs. Vandalay’s lowest success rate with any of his strikes in the clinch position is 62% so he is extremely effective against the cage and could find a lot of success if he can get Marciano there in this fight. One key factor in this fight is that it is Art’s first under his new management and this is an awfully giant task for any manager/fighter tandem to have to take on a legend like Marciano in their first fight. Randy: “I’d love to see Christopher Samba get 1 more victory and then fight Marciano sometime in the near future so he can either dispel the rumor of his ground game or be proven as a fraud and a guy who belongs in K-1. Vandalay really surprised me by beating Kane Williams the way he did last fight but I think it takes Heisenberg more time to adjust to the way his fighter likes to fight and Marciano walks away with his 3rd straight 1st round KO since joining Evolution.” Tonal: "I have a hard time seeing Marciano lose this one. The fight will be spent standing and he's the more dangerous striker. Everyone can get caught but I agree with your call of a first round ko for Don."

  12. 6. - Jolon Williams http://tvmedia.ign.com/tv/image/article/101/1013061/the-tap-out-job-20090811041136680-000.jpg Some of you may remember last year's issue (*a few months ago) where we named Mr. Williams as the number 49th ranked manager in the world, and a potential up and comer into the big leagues. Well, it appears Mr. Williams has been incredibly busy since then, and we were not mistaken! This year, MMA Universal is proud to announce that Mr. Williams has been chosen as our pick for 6th ranked manager in the business today. Now, a little while after our article was presented to the public, Mr. Williams declared that he would be upping the level of his stable, and trimming any of the loose fat holding his team back. As such, some of the faces you recognised from before may not be present, but on the bright side, that means there's yet another generation being trained beneath this bright young manager's wing. But this is not all Mr. Williams has been up to. Since our last submission regarding this London based business mogul, Mr. Williams has taken up the reigns of yet another MMA organisation, known to the public as REVO. While still new on the scene, REVO has already taken the MMA world by storm, currently housing one of the largest rosters in the world and setting the social media scene on fire with it's highly tense and dramatic verbal confrontations between fighters. But this article is not about REVO, we will save that for another day, another time. We attempted to catch up with Mr. Williams himself to hold a 1 on 1 interview with the man, but apparently, catching this man by surprise, or from behind, is not the best of ideas ... http://i42.tinypic.com/2vcf6ee.jpg .... with our reporter knocked out, we decided to save the interview for another day, another time as well. Instead, we now present to you a rundown of his current stable, and a little snippet of what they have been up to since our last article! http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w33.jpg Firus Williams _ 32 yo _ 165 lbs _ 23 victories - 17 defeats As we mentioned in our last submission, Firus Williams was the first competitor to sign under Mr. Williams, way back in the day when the business mogul was nothing more than a cocky up and comer. Last year, this veteran thought he had finally achieved his greatest triumph when he captured the title at a local London organisation ... however, it seems the grizzled grappler still had one final ace up his sleeve. A early replacement in Season Six of the renowned European Premiere League, many experts speculated that Firus stood little to no chance of success against such top tier opponents, given that his glass jaw was, at this point, easily public knowledge. But Firus Williams would shock everyone as he would go on to rack up a 6 - 3 record in the league, with 2 submission victories and a TKO to grab the second place spot and an automatic bye into the semi-finals of the tournament. There, he would face none other than Alexander Geoly, one of the competitors who had managed to knock him out earlier on in the league after a controversial decision by the referee to stand the competitors back up when Williams had been gaining the upper hand on the mat. Eager for the rematch and the prospect of prize money, and a shot at EVO gold to boot, Williams went into the fight with stars in his eyes ... and exited it seeing stars after yet another knockout at the hands of the knockout artist. Unlike the last fight, Williams would accept the defeat gracefully this time, and following the defeat, announce his retirement from the MMA world. Since then, he participated in the TWGC tournament, in an attempt to showcase his grappling skills, but would be defeated in the second round, ending his shortlived aspirations. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w11.jpg Adam Resso _ 28 yo _ 194lbs _ 10 victories - 9 defeats - 1 draw What a difference a year can make! Within the past year, Resso appears to have doubled his efforts, In our last write-up regarding Resso , we mentioned that, due to his losing record, he was on the verge of being cut from the stable completely, and the only thing staying Mr. Williams' hand was the amount of money he had initially poured into Resso's training. It appears, however, that Adam Resso thrives under pressure. With the full knowledge of his imminent retirement at his back, Resso's performance saw a sudden turn around, improving his record from 5-8-1 to 10-9-1, his only loss coming after a lucky submission following a dominating performance. Having even obtained championship gold in Amsterdam based 'Random Fighting', Resso is on a four fight knockout hot streak, and doesn't appear to be planning a loss any time soon, and seems eager to align his name with some of the top middleweights in the world. Given that most of his defeats came from such names very early on in his career, one has to question his capability in such regards, but to his credit, Resso was young and inexperienced back then ... the same cannot be said for him now. We at MMA Universal look forward now to seeing where Resso's career takes him. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42w38.jpg Jay Copeland _ 28 yo _ 217lbs _ 14 victories - 5 defeats The afore mentioned Adam Resso's best friend growing up, Copeland started his career off as the golden boy of the two. Five consecutive victories, followed by a successful stint in MLC, Copeland was making a name for himself. In the past year, Resso appears to have overtaken Copeland altogether, what with obtaining championship gold and being ranked amongst the top 100 middleweights in the world, but Copeland is still plodding along at his own pace, still striking fear into the hearts of any who step in the cage with him. Still fighting beneath the GAMMA banner, Copeland has since improved his record there from 2-1 to 6-2. Given GAMMA's reputation as one of the forefront organisations of the world in regards to competition, this record is no joke, and given Copeland's own status as an underdog in at least half of his fights, this makes his run at GAMMA all the more impressive. Copeland still has a ways yet to go until he can challenge for championship gold himself, a privilege which has thus eluded him throughout his career ... but we at MMA Universal believe that Copeland will see his day in the cage. One day. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w28.jpg Zane Peltier _ 27 yo _ 154lbs _ 20 victories - 6 defeats Widely considered as the Williams camp's most successful fighter to date, Peltier recently celebrated his 20th victory via submission after a successful run in Steel Penn New York. So successful, in fact, that in the year it has taken for us to revisit him, he has won the gold, defended it twice, engaged in and emerged victorious in a superfight over at Vicious Fights, and since left the Steel Penn organisation due to his contract running out. It is even rumoured that the organisation never offered him another contract to keep him on, which is perhaps understandable, due to the fact that there was simply no competition at Peltier's level by that time. And while Peltier was ultimately unsuccessful in his bid at the ICON project hosted by Steel Penn, that loss remains his only defeat in the past year. Peltier has since signed with world renowned Las Vegas organisation, Synchronicity, where his first fight has since been announced against McDonnel camp's own Chauncy Silvestre. This is a definite step up in competition, even for Peltier, despite his current status as one of Synchronicity's top featherweight fighters. Can Peltier handle it, or will the hype simply fade in his wake? Synchronicity is no joke, but then again, neither is Peltier. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/8/8w13.jpg Gabriel McGowen _ 27 yo _ 300lbs _ 9 victories - 1 defeat With only two fights under his belt in the past year, McGowen has struggled to find steady employment where he can fairly compete at his own level. He did, however, make those two fights count, obtaining championship gold in what is now a near defunct org based in London. Having only just recently signed on now with VERSUS over in London, it is only now that we shall see whether McGowen is truly the beast that he appears, or if he is nothing more than an overbloated can of hype with no real significance. Harsh? Perhaps, but McGowen has not fought at a top tier level as of yet. This is all about to change, however, with VERSUS being the forefront organisation in London, McGowen's career will either be made ... or broken. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/12/12w7.jpg Bowman Rook _ 26yo _ 190 lbs _ 11 victories - 6 defeats One of the most promising young faces in an early Williams' stable at one point, Rook began his ascent steadily enough, with what was initially a highly successful run at Immortals New York. As the organisation grew, however, so did the competition, and at the higher tiers of such competition, Rook's chin, or lack thereof, was exposed. Since then, Rook had found it difficult to string together consecutive victories, and has since ended up leaving the organisation after Mr. Williams cited that he was simply not at the level of competition being provided anymore. Since then, Rook has signed on with the forefront Russian organisation, based in St. Petersburg, New Generation Fighters, where he has been met with immediate success, stringing together two consecutive victories and looking for a third in the coming month. Whether Rook can get his career fully back on track remains to be seen, and whether Rook's chin will once again prove to be a problem once he hits the higher tiers of competition over at New Generation Fighters, again, remains to be seen, but for the time being, it appears that Lady Luck once again favours the fiery competitor. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w23.jpg Lee Wilson _ 25 yo _ 165lbs _ 12 victories - 5 defeats Unlike his fellow stablemates, Wilson's career has not seen a marked improvement in the past year ... if anything, it has taken a decided turn for the worse. While his career record remains at a respectable 12 - 5, his record in the past year is a lot less flattering, at 2 - 3. At the top of the world in our last little snippet regarding this young fighter, Wilson has since met his ultimate nemesis in current Galaxy lightweight champion, Renzo Alves. Losing his lightweight title to Alves soon after our submission last year, Wilson would work his way back up to title contention, only to suffer yet another defeat at the hands of Alves. To make things worse, Wilson would then even suffer an upset at the hands of Luke Couture in a surprise submission defeat, continuing his downward spiral. Wilson is set to face off against Napoleon Dynamite for his next fight at Galaxy, but if he doesn't pick up his game soon, Wilson could be looking at a third consecutive loss ... and we all know that the Williams stable does not look kindly upon such streaks. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w24.jpg Bison Bradley _ 24 yo _ 270lbs _ 13 victories - 6 defeats Bison Bradley remains an Immortal soul, true and through. His entire career has spanned within the Immortals cage, where Bradley maintains a status as one of the organisations premiere super-heavyweights. Recently, however, one of his fights sparked controversy when an outing that could have very well proved to be a title eliminator ended in a controversial knockout after his opponent at the time, Irving Brown, would knee him illegally in the groin early on in the second round, after a disadvantageous first round. Now, this alone, it wouldn't be deemed as controversial. These things happen. What Bradley would cry foul at would be what would take place next. The five minutes of recovery time barely up, Brown would immediately launch himself across the cage and unload a massive superman punch that would catch Bradley completely off guard, knocking him out and effectively ending the fight. Furious, Bradley has since defeated Brown's stablemate, Ben Dobson in a dominating display that saw Dobson tapping out due to strikes. Bradley followed this by issuing a public statement to Brown, stating, and I quote, ' I'm looking at you Brown. I'm coming for you. One way or the other. Might be a few weeks down the line, might be a few months. But I'm coming for you, and when I get there ... you're gonna be tapping too' The big man has never been known for his easy going nature, and it appears that Irving Brown has caught the big man's ire. What will happen next is anybody's guess, as Immortals management are yet to speak on the matter, but whatever is the case ... we at MMA Universal are definitely eager to find out.

  15. I like the Wineland x Barao fight. I feel like that will be a good standup fight with Barao probably winning comfortably. I think Wineland will probably be susceptible to leg kicks which Barao obviously excels at. I love watching Wineland fight, and he has really nice footwork, but he has the really boxing centric style where I think that lead leg kick will be there for Barao. Looking forward to this one. The Schaub x Mitrione fight is one of those heavyweight slugger matches that they love to make. If it stays within one round it'll be awesome, but if it goes too long it will probably get sloppy towards the end. Both mostly one dimensional sluggers with somewhat questionable chins. I favor Schaub slightly because I feel like he's maybe a little better at the things Mitrione is good at, but if a 35 year old Rodrigo Nogueira can turn Schaub's lights off, Mitrione doing it wouldn't surprise me. I actually like the Costa Philippou x Francis Carmont fight. Both guys are on big streaks, but I think Costa has looked considerably better lately. Carmont is probably better on the ground, but I think Philippou can keep it standing for most of the time where he has the better knockout power. If either of these guys looks good I think they'll be in the title conversation. A lot of people seem really excited about the Pat Healy x Khabib Nurmagomedov fight, and I think it's okay but probably not great. Healy is a good story, a big tough guy, a good grappler, and another good test for Nurmagomedov. That being said I don't know that he's much tougher than Gleison Tibau or Thiago Tavares who Nurmagomedov fought 2 and 3 fights ago. They even gave him probably a step down with Trujillo in his last fight. You've got your undefeated prospect who you want to get ring time, but I don't know if Healy is who I would want to give him. Super tough guy who lately has been hard to look good against. I think Nurmagomedov beats him but I don't know that it'll be a highlight reel, put your prospect into contendership type of fight. I agree on the undercard tip. I'll watch it, but there isn't a ton that peaks my interest.

  16. I don't think there is anything wrong with Gustafsson, and I figure he'll be a top 5 205er for a pretty good while, but I just haven't seen anything from him to think that Jones isn't going to throw him down and just smash him. That's nothing against Gustafsson, Jones has just done that to everyone he has ever faced. This is obviously MMA, and anything can happen, but if this fight happened 100 times I think Jones would win the vast majority of those. When the only new angle that a fighter brings to a champ is "well he's almost as big, and that's a new thing," I feel like that is a bad sign. If Gustafsson can keep him at range and kickbox him he might have success. He's probably a little more technical, and a lot is being made about him being rangier than Jones past opponents, but he's still giving up 8" (21cm) in reach. In fairness Gustafsson has really long legs, but if he tries to kick much I think Jones will just grab him, throw him down, and elbow him to a TKO or until he catch a sub. Even if he can keep him at range and have success kickboxing, is he really going to do that for 5 rounds without Jones finding him? Gustafsson definitely has a puncher's chance, but I don't see any reason to think that he has much of a better chance than Vitor, Rashad, Machida, or Shogun. Gustafsson couldn't finish Shogun or Thiago Silva, who are tough guys, but Jones completely smashed Shogun, and would almost certainly do the same to Thiago Silva. I'll definitely watch, Gustafsson definitely has a chance, and he's definitely the most deserving of a shot, but I'm not convinced that he is the guy to figure out the Jon Jones puzzle.

  17. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/18/18w1.jpg Gianni Blackwood _ 18yo _ 210 lbs _ 1 victory - 0 defeats Another of the new generation introduced to the Williams stable of recent, Blackwood too, is little more than an enigma at this stage of his career. In his only outing in the QFC circuit some months back, he would display impressive KO power, knocking his opponent out in under two minutes to achieve a decisive victory. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26w26.jpg George Ostler _ 18yo _ 213 lbs _ 0 victory - 1 defeats Another of the new generation introduced to the Williams stable of recent, Ostler would suffer a defeat in his debut upon the QFC circuit. However, as evidenced by Francis Colon, this means little to nothing, and Ostler appears currently hard at work in the gym, preparing for the Undisputed Manager Tournament to be hosted some months in the future. Well, that's all of them folks! We at MMA Universal have no doubt that both the Williams stable, and Mr. Williams himself, will continue to rise in stock as time goes on, so be sure to check in with us in the future. With his new generation already in the works, Mr. Williams does not appear to be planning on leaving the ever growing MMA industry anytime soon. Now onto number 5 ...

Narushima is 10-1 in his last 11 fights with the sole loss coming by submission to Smokodju Womba, a loss he later avenged by defeating Womba by 1st round TKO. We haven’t seen Ryo’s title on the line since that fight but he has won 2 super-fights against former Ascension 205lbs champion Yance Sackett and CFC’s 205lbs champion Daniel Speed. He could make a big statement by stepping up in weight and defeating another top 5 p4p opponent in Kyle Carlton. Narushima is a dangerous kick-boxer who pushes an insane pace for the weight class and he is an extremely accurate striker. Narushima prefers to work behind lots of kicks averaging over 30 leg kick attempts per fight during his career. Ryo mixes it up by throwing his kicks to the body and head as well and lands over 5 head-kicks and close to 7 body kicks per fight. Narushima should have a significant speed advantage and if he can stay on the outside and land his strikes early he has a great chance at putting Carlton away inside the distance. Carlton is an impressive 20-1 in his career and avenged his only loss by knocking Anton Chigurh out in the 1st round in the rematch. Carlton prefers to work primarily behind his punches and is most known for his devastating knock-out power finishing all 20 of his career victories including 12 inside the first round. Kyle also likes to tackle his opponents against the cage in the clinch where he is extremely effective with his dirty-boxing and isn’t afraid to mix in the occasional knee. Carlton has the power to finish fights even from such a short distance while holding guys against the cage so I would look for him to slow down the quicker opponent by using his weight to lean on Ryo against the cage while landing knock-out blows. The winner of this fight will be Evolution HW champion and undoubtedly be ranked the #1 p4p in the world. Randy: “Dean hasn’t answered my phone calls since the recent blow-out with my former manager Sean McDonnell but I might Ryo when he was a guest here on the show and he’s definitely the real deal in my opinion. If Ryo can keep this fight out of the clinch I think he’ll walk away victorious in impressive fashion. I am going to lean towards Carlton in this fight however because I think Ryo puts him in early trouble but he survives long enough to get Ryo against the cage and he’ll finish the fight from the clinch position much like he did to Ryo’s teammate Marciano.” Tonal: "Fighters don't really get more dangerous than Kyle. I think he will come out guns blazing like always so for Ryo it will be all about surviving the early storm. I think experience wins it for Ryoafter surviving an early scare. 3rd round ko." Randy: “Some gigantic fights later tonight, but before we get there we have some interesting match-ups on the under-card portion of the card as well so let’s have a brief look at those fights.” Nisse Blockson (16-6) vs. Arthur Vengrio (27-13) A heavyweight fight kicks off the main-card portion of the card when Nisse Blockson looks to rebound from a unanimous decision loss in his first fight back from a long retirement. Blockson should have some of the ring-rust behind him now and will look to use his kick-boxing to close the distance on the taller opponent and land a heavy shot that could finish the fight. Blockson is a big fan of the clinch and likes to mix in elbows and knees with his punches. Vengrio steps into the Evolution cage for the first time in this fight and is the current SPFT HW champion. Vengrio doesn’t appear to be as skilled as his opponent in the striking game but hits equally as hard if not harder with 26 of his 27 career victories coming by knock-out or TKO. This will be an entertaining striking battle which probably ends with a vicious knock-out. Konrad Kurze (27-12) vs. Matt Miller (25-8) Konrad Kurze looks to make it 4 in a row with a win tonight after an impressive submission victory over the former champion Dr. Gonzo in his last fight. Kurze is a decent kick-boxer but it’s no secret he is looking for any opportunity to get the fight to the mat where he possesses a BJJ black-belt and has 13 submission victories in his career. His opponent tonight is Matt Miller who has been fighting against the top guys in the division in his last several fights. Miller is a decent kick-boxer in his own right but usually uses his takedowns and top-control to gain dominant positions and beat his opponents up on the ground. Miller also possesses a BJJ black-belt but has lost his last two fights by submission so it will be interesting to see if he shy’s away from his wrestling in this fight. Miller is in desperate need of a win if he wants to stay relevant in the division and Kurze could take a big jump up in the division by beating a consistent contender like Miller. Theo Atla Son (26-8) vs. Domingos De Matos (33-13) Theo Atla Son looks to rebound from a recent two fight losing streak which included losing his title to Ryo and then dropping a super-fight to Jose Nabijos both by knock-out. Atla Son likes to mix his punches and kicks up well while at distance and occasionally tackles his opponents into the cage where he unleashes knees to the body and head. His opponent tonight also lost to Nabijos his last time in the cage but had won 3 straight fights by knock-out before that so he will be looking to regain some of the momentum he had before being derailed by Jose. De Matos is also a very skilled kick-boxer who pushes forward behind punches and kicks always in search of the big knock-out blow. Both of these light-heavyweights have good knock-out power and both have also been knocked out on multiple occasions so I’d expect to see this fight finished inside the distance. The winner of this fight should get back into the top 10 rankings in the weight class and start gaining momentum to getting in the title picture. Sinuhe Egyptian (44-14-2) vs. Nai Khanom Tom (29-9-1) Up next is one of our featured under-card fights and it’ll be 3 rounds in the welterweight division when former champion Sinuhe Egyptian looks to make it 3 in a row with a victory in this fight as he continues to climb the ladder back towards a shot at the title. Egyptian is a high level muay-thai kick-boxer and pushes a very past pace right from the opening bell throwing lots of punches and kicks. Egyptian throws a ton of low kicks averaging close to 30 leg kicks per fight and almost 10 body kicks. He uses his heavy low kicks to set up his high kicks and averages over 8 head-kick attempts per fight. Egyptian has a terrific chin and has complete faith in his ability to eat a shot so I’d look for him to come out aggressive once again in this fight. His opponent is another high level kick-boxer but doesn’t push near the pace of his opponent. If Khanom Tom isn’t able to keep up with the former champion he’s going to have a tough time in this fight due to Egyptian’s durability. Both of these fighters are also very capable in the clinch and I wouldn’t be surprised if Egyptian pushes the fight there on a few occasions. If Egyptian can win it’ll go a long way to getting him back in the cage with 1 of the top contenders right now and if Khanom Tom can pull off this upset it could boost him right into the top 5 of the division. Richard Hickock (20-8-1) vs. Topi Tokala (23-6) Our featured fight on the under-card is a 3 round battle in the middleweight division as Richard Hickock looks to make it 3 in a row with a victory tonight since joining Evolution. Hickock is an aggressive kick-boxer while at distance but enjoys closing the gap and pushing guys against the cage in the clinch position. Hickock likes to unleash knees and elbows mixed in with his dirty-boxing game-plan. Hickock has pretty good knock-out power and finishes around 2/3rds of his victories by TKO or knock-out. His opponent in this fight is another aggressive kick-boxer and will likely look to use his 16 cm reach advantage in this fight by throwing a lot of jabs. Tokala isn’t quite the knock-out artist his opponent is and because his opponent probably will be landing the harder strikes Tokala will want to push his opponent backwards and score more often. Taking the center of the cage will help Tokala avoid being tackled against the cage so look for him to stick and move and keep this fight on the outside. Both fighters could make it three wins in a row and find themselves against a top 10 contender again in their next fight. Randy: “What a terrific night of fights we have for MMA fans. The under-card has several interesting fights on it and then you add the two title fights and Don Marciano on the PPV portion? Wow. Anyway let’s get back to talking with our guest for a little bit before we run out of time. I hope that’s okay with you? Tonal: "Go ahead." Randy: “I just want to get your thoughts on some of the high-lights in your career. We’ll start with the Syn Millionaire’s tournament. You entered that tournament as a 10-4 fighter and were relatively unknown. What was it like to win that tournament and put yourself on the map?” Tonal: "Going into that tournament I felt I was as talented as anyone out there but a couple of missteps had really set my career back. Winning it felt awesome as I finally got to show everyone what I could do. I have to admit I was not terribly proud of how I fought that tournament though. Too much was on the line and I fought to win rather than to finish, something I've never done before nor since." Randy: “After winning the tournament you went back to GAMMA and won light-heavyweight championship. What was it like winning your first world title?” Tonal: "I actually held that title briefly before the tournament too. Winning it again felt like fixing past mistakes." Randy: “Immediately after winning the GAMMA world championship you went to CoV for a super-fight against the legendary Jigoro Kane which you lost but that started an impressive streak of 16 straight wins which included many legendary names and you reaching the pinnacle of the sport becoming the #1 p4p fighter in the world. Give me two of the victories you’re most proud of and why?” Tonal: I have to say the wins vs Jerry Millen and Gristle McThornbody. Millen was talking so much crap and a lot of people were actually buying it. Going into it I knew he was going to brawl with me and I knew he had nothing for me in that kind of fight. Going into the Gristle fight he was on a win streak going back 8 years, and he kept winning for a couple of years after our fight too, and I put on what I felt was the best display of wrestling of my career. Randy: “That streak was stopped when you dropped your title to William Mackenzie King by Unanimous decision. You then lost 2 of your next 4 fights after dropping your title before finally retiring. What do you think happened at the end of your career?” Tonal: I just didn't have it anymore wasn't good enough to win those fights. Maybe my luck just ran out or I should have prepared differently. Randy: “Well I want to thank you for your time and answering all these questions. I hope you enjoy retirement but secretly I’ll be wishing that you one day step back in the cage and lay a beating on somebody.” Tonal: "Thanks for having me, I really look forward to the fights." Randy: “This is Randy Ortiz signing off for now. We’ll be back with another edition of Evolution’s count-down previews with Evolution 22 ‘Power vs. Otso 2’ as I’ll be away the rest of the weekend and not have time for the next show. Tune in as Chris Garcia will be my guest on that show.”

  26. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1379108940image.jpg Evolution 20 'Narushima vs. Carlton' Preview Randy: “We’re back with another edition of Evolution’s count-down previews as we get ready for Evolution 20 ‘Narushima vs. Carlton’ which comes to you live from the Wombley Arena in London, England on Saturday September 14th, 2013. What a stacked card we have for you with 4 fights being scheduled to go 5 rounds including the 170lbs and 265lbs championships. Merik Hunt will defend his title first against the challenger in BJJ red belt Rufus Soderberg. We have two 5 round fights in the light-heavyweight division and heavyweight divisions respectively as Womba takes on A.J. Hearts and Don Marciano faces Art Vandalay in two terrific match-ups. Then we get to the main-event of the evening when light-heavyweight champion and #1 p4p fighter Ryo Narushima jumps up a weight-class and tries to add the heavyweight title when he takes on the champion and #4 p4p fighter Kyle Carlton. I’m joined here by my guest at this time the legendary Jeremy Tonal. First let me start by saying it’s a true honor to have you on the show. You are 1 of the true greats this sport has seen.” Tonal: Thanks. It's an honor to be here. Looking forward to a great night of fights. Randy: “It has been 5 long years (tycoon-time) since we’ve seen you in action way back at Ascension 101 when you dropped a majority decision to Sunny Disposition. How are you enjoying retirement?” Tonal: It's been good. I miss the fighting at times but it's nice to not always have a fight to prepare for and it's great to have more time at home. Randy: “Despite spending so much time on the shelf I have to say you look in terrific shape my friend. I know that you still like to hit the gym fairly often and work on your skills. Why do you still enjoy going to the gym and staying in such good shape? Is MMA just a way of life for you? Do you get bored at home with the wife and kids?” Tonal: I still love the sport and I can't think of a better way to stay active. I also really enjoy sparring with all the new talent. Randy: “You know where this is leading right? Are we ever going to be graced by your presence in an MMA cage ever again? What kinda fight would it take to get you to come out of retirement on put the gloves back on? Would you come back for a crack at Ryo Narushima?” Tonal: At this point a comeback is unlikely. I'm not getting any younger and I don't really see any fights out there tempting enough. Maybe if there was another Kane or Glory around I would try but even then just to work my way into a position where I would deserve a shot would be a lot of work. Ryo is a great fighter and the fact that he has never been knocked out in a 13 year career extremely impressive so of the guys out there right now I can't think of many I would rather fight. Randy: “When you finally decided to hang it up, you and the rest of the guys who were coached by Richard Davenport all kinda went out at the same time. Do you still keep up with Rich? How about Abayo Bokhari? What have those guys been up to lately?” Tonal: Some of us retired but a lot of the younger guys kept fighting and several of them are doing really well. All four guys fighting for Lance are on great streaks and 3 of them have belts. It's great to see guys you helped learn the game years ago climbing their way to the top today. Of us older guys only Victor is still fighting and he's still a threat to anyone. Last I heard Abayo is enjoying retirement in Vegas. Randy: “I have just one more question for you for now and then we’ll get to previewing some of these great fights here in a minute. I heard a rumor that Davenport was approached by J-Bomb and Sean McDonnell and offered a spot in Team Conquer should Rich ever return to the MMA scene. Is there any truth to this rumor? I heard that he turned them down for now but do you think he’ll ever get back to coaching fighters the way he once did?” Tonal: I don't think he will, he's really disillusioned with the way the mma world is developing. Randy: “Well thank you for being so honest with your answers. Let’s say we get to checking out some of these fights and then maybe if there is time we’ll sit here and shoot the shit about some of your past fights and opponents and maybe get your opinions on the MMA scene today.” Tonal: Sounds good. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2b5.jpg VS. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w18.jpg Prophet Mohammed (20-3-1) vs. Dustin Douglas (30-9) Prophet Mohammed looks to extend his un-beaten streak to 5 fights when he kicks off the main-card portion of our fight by taking on heavy-handed knock-out artist Dustin Douglas. Prophet Mohammed is a very well-rounded fighter and is a former Fight Day FC heavyweight champion. Mohammed got off to a great start in his career losing one fight very early in his career but then finding a lot of success under the Fight Day banner winning the organizations title and defending it on several occasions. Mohammed did lose in two separate fights to Emeka Shakur but has gone 3-0-1 since joining Evolution. Prophet mixes up his punches and kicks well on the feet but is looking for any opportunity to get the fight to the mat and lands 47% of his takedown attempts. If he can survive the early knock-out power from Dustin Douglas and get this fight to the ground he’ll have a great chance at coming out victorious. Douglas is an elite-level boxer and likes to push forward throwing a lot of punches but mixes in a fair amount of leg-kicks into his game-plan. Douglas is a former champion in the organization and is looking to rebound from a recent decision loss to Renzo Machida with a convincing victory here tonight. Douglas is most known for his heavy hands and has finished 27 of his 30 career wins by TKO or knock-out. Douglas will need to sprawl and brawl to have his best chance at victory in this fight and has shown the ability to do that in the past boasting a 70% success rate in takedown defense during his career. The winner of this fight will find themselves in the top 15 of the weight class and knocking on the door for a title shot in the near future. Randy: “I like this Mohammed guy and I think one day he’ll really make a name for himself with his high-level grappling ability. I just don’t think his time is quite yet. Douglas has a 12cm reach advantage and he will come out the aggressor in this fight and wear Mohammed down with his power early. I think Prophet will struggle to get this fight to the ground in the later rounds and Dustin finishes him late in the 2nd round.” Tonal: I think Mohammed has the upper hand in this one. He should be able to hold his own in the striking and eventually take it to the ground where he's far superior. He needs to be very vary of Douglas power though. One wrong move and the fight is over.

  28. Humors has gone way over board too many times. We ALL know this. So, that part of the game is Humors is done. The character or real life "Humors" will never be apart of the game again. Locking this thread. He's said his goodbye, that's the end of it.

  29. This is where I need to open my mouth, as a moderator I'm used to toning down and not talking bad about people, but now it's the time to make an exception. The people defending humors haven't obviously dealt with him before. He doesn't deserve any respect, ANY at all. This guy is an unbelievable racist and just a mean mean person. How can we defend someone who has posted dead people and gay porn in this forum, a person who has said that he will stalk and RAPE one managers toddler (SERIOUSLY). He has also threatened to kill multiple people in this game (myself included), so if you wanna be kind with him be my guest. And I think Mike himself summed it up nicely a few months ago

  30. To summarize: More agility and speed. More accuracy. Possibly even less aggression if that is crazy high.

  35. Never dislike you, quite the opposite I found that you was kind a funny guy, you wore your name "humors" pretty well but at some points it seems that you changed your way to act on the forums however I never judge this, overall it is a game and I find you pretty funny. I liked this game especially due to the comunity and I burned myself to be the best I did it well as I was #1 one year streak but at some point I didn't had any fire inside of my guts, and I had no reasons to keep going so I had to stop, especially when the game became too much time consuming. Thanks for the last comments as I need it right now.

  36. Hey humors, take care man. You could have made some friends in the game, but you wasted this opportunity by beeing angry troll humors way too often (i had some good laughs here and there though, but was pissed once really bad, too). Sucks because i know you can be a sociable guy you can have a good laugh with.

  38. Come on Jeff, don't say you got robbed. You don't get respect from people denying your responsibility when you lose. It's not like you dominated the fight and the judges took it from you. Take it for what it was. You didn't have the fight in hand and you lost. Good luck getting back in the UFC.

  41. Since we're seeing such a huge amount of new ideas coming in with boxing and grappling tournaments I was thinking it would be really cool if orgs were able to lock sliders for the fighters they have contracted. I'm not sure of the specifics or how it would work... But it would be great to be able to set a card and make it so fighters would be locked into 100% punches vs kicks, 100% stay on the outside or 100% Takedowns so we could see more diversity in the rule sets. I'm really interested in starting a Full Contact Karate org but with people left to their own free will I'm afraid some won't follow the rules or may just forget.
