I think I prefer the idea of giving all new fighters a bonus in a chosen background. The idea would be like a Karate guy might have a bump in say body kicks and/or countering. A Judo guy might have a small bonus with balance and/or clinch. Taekwondo might be good at kicks, but especially good at high kicks (just throwing cool possible variations). Capoeira would might specialise in arial manoeuvres (spinning front kicks or flying knees). BJJ good from the bottom (essentially). Sambo good on top. Every style could be available, even Wing Chun or Aikido. Wouldn't be a major change I imagine. BASIC: A simple mock (first update) version could be just to give the fighter some extra points at point of creation (maybe it's as simple in programming matter of giving everyone a few extra points to place in specific skillsets). 2ND UPDATE: fight bonus-which I would absolutely love would be have small bonuses (more accuracy or more power) in those skills during the fight. Imagine it? Your Lyoto Machida style fighter, who made to be a counter guy turns out to have Ko power and intelligence- struck gold right there. Ninjitsu guy can do accurate elbows from the bottom (if he has elbows). It would still have an element of luck of the draw to it, cos u might make a guy to be a 'counter' striker, but his other hiddens means you take a different, more favoured route (having your bonus somewhat negated). Maybe leave the Ninja stuff out, but essentially......

Ryu "The Water Moccasin" Aokison(296494)14-10 vs.Xafan"Demon Hunter" Kong(297561) 12-3 Light Heavyweight Firebomb Ryu has 8 submission victories, and is 3-2 in the DARE organization. Hailing from Japan, he boasts that he can submit most animals, although its not on record for he could possibly be arrested. He has shown flashes of ability, but has yet to snare a submission victory in DARE, winning by decisions and a tko. He is ranked at 1000 p4p and looks to show he can move up in rankings with the test of the Demon Hunter. Kong, an extremely brutal looking foe with a magnificent 12-3 record looks to finish Ryu and get noticed again for another title run. Kong 6-2 in DARE with losses only to champions has elite level striking, muay thai, and wrestling and he has won 8 fights by KO and has not lost once by ground submission. Ryu will have to be able to get kong to the ground and implement his animal submissions against a dangerous striker like Kong. Dean "The Bounty Hunter" Wesson (293172) 18-9 vs. George Salvador (308017) 11-5 For the Middleweight Title Wesson has taken over the division since Hall of Famer Razmig Grigorian vacated the title and moved to the GAMMA Organization. Wesson is a perfect 7-0 in DARE and looks to make his 2nd defense of the title. Wesson is extremely skilled in many primaries with elite level techniques. He has the gas tank to go deep and all but one of his victories in DARE have been by decision. Wesson trains in Vegas at Valhalla MMA and he and his team are looking to extending his streak to 8 with the Salvador fight. George Salvador, a former champion with the now defunct Tokyo Rage Fight Club is entering his 3rd fight with the promotion and is 2-1 in those fights. He gets his opportunity with a tremendous opponent. Salvador has shown that he can also go the distance and has also 9 KO's to his record. I would expect that Salvador has nothing to hold back in this fight and may go all out early to avoid a decision in the end. Main Event Kvame "Brahma" Zulu (311722) 10-2 vs. Edmond Honda (309430) 12-5 HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE COLLISION #2 Zulu was supposed to fighting for the title vs. losefa Umaga, but unfortunately the top 100 P4P and top 10 Heavyweight went inactive and was thus stripped of the title leaving the door wide open for a new champion. Challenger fights have been conducted all summer to arrive at the top 2 Challengers. Zulu is taking on a less than rated opponent, but although not as perceived to be the top talent he is highly respected and ranked high and not afraid of opposition. Zulu should not take this fight lightly. Zulu is obviously the favorite with a 6 fight win streak since joining DARE and dispatching all but one of his foes by tko or spectacular ko. He is dangerous, he is brutal, he has lots of potential but if he wants that title shot he will have to get by Honda first. Honda is on a 4 fight winning streak, with 2 of those in DARE. He is an extremely popular fighter with a fearless attitude, he has 9 KO's and 3 submission victories and does have lots of fight experience, but most of his fights were in smaller organizations. Take it for what its worth, the winner will get to fight vs. the winner of Sokolov vs. Arones for the belt. Other Notables on the Card Buster Hymen (195199) 36-11-1 vs. "Cocky" Rocky McColgan (215739) 33-10 Two old dudes keepin the dream alive, both former champions, first meeting ever looking to extend their DARE records to 2-0 in the 265+ Division. Aki "巨人" Hiko (299236) 11-3 vs. Toni "The Mountain" Eerkilaa (208412) 31-21 Another 265+ fight with implications as Hiko 3-1, 2-0 in has last 2 fights in DARE squares off with the older Mountain who is 1-0 in DARE. Yuvraj "6x6 King" Singh (299691) 14-3 vs. Gattsu "Iron Fist" Emelianenko (297602) 10-5 265 lb Fight. Singh had a NC for his last fight which the oppoent went inactive and didn't meet the weight limit, while Emelianeko has won 3 of 4 fights in DARE with his only loss coming from rising star Zulu. Winner of this fight likely gets top ranked heavyweight newcomer Wesley "Cabbage" Correira (305194) 17-2-1 former EFA/Gladiators heavyweight champion in their next fight. That was an anomaly due to the org being on sale permanently which could have fucked with the system. Just from the wiki - InactivityIf you run a fight org and become inactive, this is obviously unfair on all the people who sign fighters with your org. So, if you don't sign in for 14 days and don't book any events for your fight org for a similar period of time, all fighters within your org will have their inactivity clause set to 1 day, enabling them to leave your company. This does not affect your company's hype - it just frees them up to leave if they wish to do so. There was an org back in late 2016 that had a huge number of fighters signed but they all went MIA and the org wasn't on sale to anyone. 2 weeks after the last booked event, everybody could leave.

I love flavor stuff as much as the next gamer, but forcing a No Contest despite you, the manager, doing nothing wrong is too much of a penalty. Making it affect hype or Pop is a good thing or maybe the light training boost, but anything that causes someone to even occasionally lose do to a no contest through no fault of their own is definitely a bad idea. Overall, however, I think the idea has merit.

Anybody else had fighters getting on flights despite cancelling when it got booked ?? Got 2 fights tonight and both will be tired before they start......fucking game is a shambles !!!!!

On a broader theme, IMHO everything that adds unique flavor to the fighters is a benefit to the game; it's bad enough that every top fighter is "Elite" at everything. What makes them different from each other are the hiddens. Having the perfect combination of hiddens is one of many "keys" to the game. So, also IMHO, the more hiddens the better - as long as they're "good" hiddens. One good hidden to add may be the "Profesionalism" or "Work ethic" hidden. it would be a skill that most of the time doesn't affect anything. But if your Profesionalism hidden value is extremely low, or extremely high, then there are some effects: High value (say 140-150 points): Your fighter attends the gym from monday to monday, goes to sleep at 9 PM, wakes up at 5 AM for a morning run, eats clean, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, doesn't go out, prays to Jesus, etc. Once in a blue moon you might get a message saying " 'Fighter A' was on fire in the gym today. He was so focused on training, his body has been in such great shape for so long, his technique is so crisp, he got a surprise bonus in points gained in his training session"; How much it would be the bonus? Who knows...not much I reckon. Maybe if it's posible, make it be more likely to kick in when a skill is at the '++' level so it may induce a pop and be more noticeable; Low value (the equivalent of a useless chin): The opposite - you get the idea. As a result, you might get a message saying " 'Fighter B' was unmotivated in the last training session and barely gained anything from it". Maybe add some messages just for flavor " 'Fighter B' got in an altercation at a local event last night and beat up a drunken fool cageside. As a result he was all over MMA media and became a trending topic on Twitter". And your fighter could even get a small boost in hype. BUT the bad thing of havng such a low hidden is that once in a blue moon (and I mean VERY rarely), you get a message saying " 'Fighter B' didn't follow his diet on fight week and had a bad weight cut. As a result he entered the fight with a small energy hit". And if we wanna go crazy with it: " 'Fighter B' went crazy on fight week and completely half assed his preparation resulting in a No Contest". Of course your opponent would get his full show and win bonus money. it would be very annoying for the manager but tough luck!
