  1. "DETONATOR" DAMOCLES TARVER "Start digging. On December 28th I make Paul Smecker body number 6. 60 seconds or less. - The Champ, DT."
  2. If you love the org managerial experience, I'd get the game "World of mixed martial arts 5" Offers similar content to this game except its a more single player based game, and you are solely a manager of an org, making fights, dealing with fighter egoes, trying to snipe the biggest stars from other companies etc. the fight engine for it is probably the best of any MMA sim game out there as well, millions of styles and influences and engagements to take into account. I'd pick it up.
  3. So I'm not sure about any other org or company owner, but my banner has completely vanished for my gym. I refreshed the location pages where you would usually see in game banner ads, but all that cropped up was a link to the org or company in question. This related to the recent site changes? Apologies if this has been asked recently...
  4. I will say though, my fighters train in tokyo, so are a long long ways ahead, and on the 15th, I had no pops, which *does* contrast with all the days preceeding where at least one or two of my fighters did pop.
  5. Two of my guys popped, I can't say anything was totally out of the ordinary there, but its troubling that it has happened to a few people with a large roster of fighters
  6. Awesome gif, like static effect with the dimming colours
  7. You learn stuff everyday I'll bear this in mind too when/if my fighters become more technical counter strikers.
  8. Heart or no, that's a hell of a record for someone so exclusively standup-oriented, total bulldozer.
  9. Sweet jesus he's a prospect as well, most posts here started off as flat track bully 25 year olds to get a few fights in. I'll keep tabs on this one, scary scary start.
  10. Oooooh nice! I'm always fascinated by the early losses (should there be any) in the careers of the worlds best. how they suffered them, where their opponent is now, awesome to hear he has two victories over DE's head. For my own sins, here is the fighter that sparked my interest in the subject, 5-0-0 isn't necessarily a streak yet, but all in round one, all inside a minute with two title fights I count to be pretty good going. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=353127
  11. He sounds more like a punch-out boss, going into a state of invulnerability before charging out than a fighter at that point, great combo! shame about the weak chin, but random skill pop giveth, random skill pop taketh away... This has all been really interesting though, quite often the natural KO artists aren't becoming the overall best, which does to some level mirror real life, as you need as with all things balance. (Having a nuke strapped to your knuckles can always help though)
  12. Well done for overcoming that knockdown, firmly established as a bad man at the elite of the elite level now!
  13. Oh for sure! If he finishes the year unbeaten, that's a hall of fame achievement in of itself, its a legendary run he's on.
  14. He's had a stellar run, but it still looks like he can be a threat for a 25 year old fighting 4 in game years on he's had great odds
  15. For the time period thats impressive, 10 in a row? streamrolled. I also just checked his profile out, mad that they've scaled up to be in their sixties now!
  16. I would do eventually, but I'd have to start a new prospect up, and get him trained. but I love KT, and you're right, not enough orgs out there rn.
  17. Whats up, So recently, my 26 year old who I created to get some stop-gap fights when I rejoined the game in an ID restricted org has been on a tear. Before I even developed his strength, he could shut the lights out on any opponent in a couple of basic strikes, not going combo crazy. Now its been developed, he's beating prospects from ranked managers in under a minute, with wilder-esque, ngannou-esque power. Now, we all know the day is coming soon where the prospects will overtake him in skill or pick him apart, but it got me to thinking... Whats the most powerful fighter you've ever managed? Did they develop into a great fighter or was their power the most noteworthy thing about them? And how many times did those explosive hands get you out of trouble?
  18. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23b20.jpg DAMOCLES TARVER "The game may be catching up with DT these days, younger fighters are pushing harder, coming in better trained than ever before. But I've still got enough pop and stop to drop all of them into a coma. 5-0-0, all within the org, all under one minute KO's. Now I've defended the belt, feeling blessed." "Bring on all comers, you may beat me one day, but won't want to fight me ever again" "Peace, and I hope y'all enjoyed thanksgiving" Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Khan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tarver manages to avoid it. Tarver circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Khan to the canvas! Khan doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Tarver keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over! http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20190923093856155lb%20-.jpg AAAAND STILLL!
  19. Can only see Gray beating him this year, pound for pound for less time (up until that recent vilson loss on alzheimer) but undefeated with as many fights as he had, its mad.
  20. From a fans perspective, Its a juicy tourney. Jernit v Alzheimer is great, I wanna see if Vilson can outhustle another top featherweight again and establish himself, and I'd love to see a rematch in what would be the final, but agreed, wouldn't be opposed to the losers of each fights being paired up afterwards too, can get at least 4 fights out of this.
  21. Wouldn't have to even name the location by city or nation per se, just say that its taking place in the "QFC Arena", I'm sure everyone on Tycoon would go along with that and not have any problems with slightly suspending their disbelief. QFC fights would get matched quicker, and I might even think that some perhaps less densely populated regions of the game might thrive again as newcomers might not flee from places they just can't get fights. (that last point is more idealistic but hey, I'm a dreamer.)
  22. Fair enough, won't probe, but will watch out : P Slightly off topic but I am also noticing some new managers, new ID (as in, not an old ID with a cleared record indicating a once deleted account restored) with no fights, a number of fighters that have no fights. and like, half a million and a new business under their belt. How'd they get that? Why are people *still* trying to game the system like this?! whats the thrill?!
