  1. Don't make fun...He spended a lot in them
  2. Yup I did it through google checkout with a prepaid visa. It went through no problem, it just wont redirect to the VIP confirmation from MMATycoon. it says URL not found. I just sent the details. Im anxious!
  3. Thats a bit impatient...I only have 4 fighters, I have to wait way longer than 3 days sometimes. And Im having a great time with the game, and going vip today.
  4. Rather than making a new topic, I may as well post here..... Im going VIP today. I don't have a credit card, but they have prepaid visas in town so Im going to buy one, and was planning on paying through google checkout. Do you know if it will work with a prepaid?
  5. I lost 1 fight by decision that I probably should have won, probably because my slider was way over on counter. But for 2 of my wins with one fighter I had it on just a bit counter, one fight he waited until the other guy attacked, and countered it by getting behind him and german suplex into a RNC. I really think its a matter of your fighter, and the other fighter's sliders as well. But honestly if your over like 80 or so counter expect to probably go to decision, unless the other fighter comes at you full tilt. But I can guarantee you the counter is usefull, I have definitely won 6 fights between 3 fighters with my slider on counter, and lost 1 but like I said that was like 80 or more counter. What I wonder is if you choose "counter striker" for your fighter as an extra skill at the end of creating him, and you set your sliders aggressive, how does it affect your natural counter striking?
  6. I think we need a fighter named Steve Irwin... He was an amazing Australian.
  7. I was off work on sick leave for over 3 months, just got back to work a few weeks ago, I was going to buy the UFC game for 360, but my bro bought it and it really isn't worth the 70 or 80 bucks or whatever. Its really worth borrowing, Ive already played through 3 careers. I think on Thursday when I get paid (since Im poor, and live paycheck to paycheck ) I'm going 1 year VIP MMA Tycoon instead, not because its less money, I think this game is much more redeeming, I don't know how I'm gonna get the money to Mike, but it will be worked out. That's what I think....
  8. So its upon me, Aaron Moore has a title shot against Korter Poundre. He had this to say: " What can I really say, the guy's a stud, he's got double my wins, and some impressive skills. but hell I love to fight, I'm here to fight, and there is no dishonor in fighting the best, and I know the WFC appreciates that. I'm going into this fight 100% and hoping my game plan for that night is superior, and I come out with the belt raised above my head" Aaron's teammate Xavier Belial is anxious to get back out there following his impressive debut, he is working his ass off in the gym in preparation for whoever the WFC pins him against next.
  9. Take advantage of it right now while you can, the guys online are crap. Get your wins now haha
  10. Dammit, I asked this question a week or so ago, and someone answered that they were mainly for when your not training. Ive basically just wasted 30 days of Kush blend for nothing. IMO we need something to make energy gain faster.
  11. I figured this would happen. Now even PRIDE has to cut 30 people to be able to hold a decent amount of shows for fighters....Here comes a wave of inactive managers...
  12. But with no fights and no contracts, he's going to be doing a lot less training, and like I said people want to fight, not go part time work. After 3-4 weeks of signing on the game, having no fights and no contracts will make the chances of a first timer not ever signing back on the game. I myself have patience, and am a big fan of the game.I also lucked out in some of my contracts, and get fights at a decent rate. I really could see people playing the game and not coming back because they have nothing really to do. Having patience while you train for a fight, and set your training up every day for 2 weeks is one thing, I sign on every day, check my energy, sparring schedule, give supps, read about events and fighters. Signing on a game every day and waiting for your guy to have enough money from working to afford a gym, is not much of a reason to want to play, while you see other people out there with 5-0 and 6-0 records.
  13. Don't worry, my fighter came out to Judas Priest Painkiller, and the audience didn't like it. They have horrible taste, I know its too much rock for some people, but the whole Tokyo crowd that night? hahaha
  14. No not every VIP has an org, but that does seem to be the best approach to getting lots of fights, wins, and make sure you always have money. The owner of the EUCF put one of his fighters in his org, and gave him 3 injured fighters in a row, so now the guy is 3-0 or something. Myself I have lucked out on some decent fighters, and Ive had 10 fights between my 4 guys. My dad (NWO) hasn't had the same luck, and you can't tell me it doesn't sound like a good idea for him to go VIP, make an org, and spoon feed his fighter injured guys, and cans, so he can have money to train. The game is MMA Tycoon, the point is to be a fighter, its cool to sometimes go part time work, or full time work. But do you honestly think people are gonna want to strictly play the game to switch their fighters between working, and getting kicked out of gyms? I put my fighters on full time work, when they have a fight coming, and need the rest. Big difference when you make a fighter, train, use all of his money, and now a month into the game, you have to set your fighter to work, because he can't train, has no contract, and can only make 100 bucks at quick fights. The other solution I see, is if you don't get a contract in the first few days, get into the quick fights and hopefully come out with a couple wins, then you will get signed over new guys with 0-0 records. Or else you will be spending more waiting, and you lose cardio when your working. Hell my best fighter went down from competent and I have no clue why...He trains every day, and is 3-0. I also see this as a problem that may come up for many people. And now with the diminishing fans change, that means less fights for all.
  15. Aaron Moore is extremely pleased to have come out victorious tonight, with no energy loss, and minimal injury. "I knew glen was gonna be strong in the clinch, but had to stick to my gameplan" When asked where he sees himself next, he said " Not looking at anyone in particular right yet, just want to slowly work my way up there, don't know if I'm quite ready to go at the elite, but this is a start in the right direction" Also coming out with the win, Aaron's teammate Xavier Belial, with a devastating head kick KO in 5 seconds of the fight. Following the fight and a trip to the hospital with a balloon of a foot, he had this to say "FUCK YA, I'm pumped, I'm sure the guy I fought tonight is a great fighter, maybe one day we'll get to see him fight,as for now my foot is busted, but I'm sure his face isn't feeling to good,Ill be back!!"
  16. I won my fight today in 5 seconds by head kick, ended up getting 15 day injury(my personal longest injury out of 10 fights) the only thing that makes sense is a broken foot, but man I wonder how his face feels. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=5535
  17. LOL I know, but this time it actually said winner and loser, so I was nervous haha. Anyways it showed me, both my fighters won. WOOO Im happy!
  18. I know Ive mentioned this before, but now for the event coming later today it already says the winners and losers. http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventpublic.php?EvID=2728 only wondering because my fighters are both on the losing side.
  19. In regards to Greg Lupul Jimmy Cheesburger had this to say: " You beat me in our first fight, I would love a chance at a rematch, since I destroyed the fighter who beat you, and I only lost our first fight because it was my first fight, and had no clue how to setup sliders"
  20. Now you can stop bitching about that Otis crapper! quick fight!! I did with my first 2 fights!
  21. Ive been saying this for a while, I had my sliders set for around 70 percent on stay standing, ended up going for 19 take downs in the first round, and 1 jab. On another fight it was the same thing, take downs over and over again. If you shoot that many times with your slider on anything on the stay standing side, you would figure, even with a lot of percentage of take down attempts that works out to, your fighters first move would at least be a strike. It makes me wonder, what if I put my slider over towards "try take downs"??? if at 70% stay standing I threw 19 takedowns in 1 round, what would he do if I put it to 70% try take downs? 40 takedowns in round 1? I'm also verrry confused at this slider. In my last fight, I wanted to go to the ground, so I put my slider to standup, and nailed the takedown right away.
  22. My fighter Richard Ramirez lost his fight by decision, it was mostly based on the managers gameplan, next time he wont make the same mistake...
  23. When Evans and Machida got in that wild exchange Machida would hit Rahad, and slip a punch, like Pac Man, he's such an incredible fighter, and exactly the kind of martial artist that deserves to be the champ. It was a great title fight too, both undefeated..Kind of wish Serra did better, not a fan of Hughes attitude, and I have a soft spot for the little guy. And very glad Krystzoff won his fight, he was my pick to win that season of TUF, so its good to see him winning in the UFC, and I always cheer for the boys that come out of Tompkins(local) overall IMO, it was a pretty decent night of fights.
