  1. Had my fighters second fight today, and second win. But by the looks of the play by play it was probably only because I was fighting a lay n pray style. In the fight my fighter just kept shooting in for takedowns over and over and over getting stuffed, and taken down by the better wrestler...Now I went into the fight hoping to stand more of the time. But my fighter was content to keep attempting to take this guy down. I have read quite thoroughly about the sliders, and understand that if I were to leave it at half way than 1 in 2 standing attacks would be a takedown. I had the slider at about 65-70 percent on the "stay standing" I don't get why he kept trying to take him down... any help would be great my fighter id is 2388 and the opponent was Sir Lancelot.
  2. I only got 92 countries. I was a wiz at geography in school, that was a while though, there are so many countries that didn't exist that exist now.
  3. So it is just putting whoever on the winner and loser. Its not pulling a Nostradamus on us That's good to know!
  4. If you look on "today's events" it has a few events that are on the 28th listed, and if you go to them it has a winner and loser, but no method...Could it be a prediction of the future? if you look at the CFC one it has it like that. And 1 or 2 others.
  5. Yea Im guessing since it is a generated system. It must be the guys have too low "striking defense" so basically as soon as the first combo is thrown, they are rocked.
  6. That doesn't make any sense....Not many of the fighters have had a chance to get much better than the other ones, at least not by too far. So its basically about tactics. There is nothing on the sliders that implies your fighter is gonna walk in the ring and ko someone in the first punch. And same goes the opposite. So now when I look at events for instances Tapout's WW finals. The title fight ended in 5 seconds.....How legit is that? that's not even the only title fight that ended like that. Either people are losing way too quickly, or we have a bunch of illegit champs. 4-0 imo isn't much of a champ, when the person pretty much only wins because of being on the game longer, and knows how to tweak the sliders. Hope you guys don't think I'm complaining, really just inquiring, and seeing what the opinions of the rest of you are...
  7. I have to wait til Friday for my next fight... I am very bored and impatient. I still end up logging on here a bunch of times a day, even though my guys aren't doing anything...
  8. That actually does make sense, about the mismatches. I agree about the insanely fast ones though, there was at least 1 title fight that ended in the first bit. Just figured Id bring it up, just in case, make sure Im not exaggerating it hehe.
  9. I have been skimming through the recent events. And I noticed an insane amount of fights end in the first round, and many many of them end in the first 30 seconds to 1 minute. Like so many that I had to make this topic. I know nothing about the system, but is that normal?
  10. Yea WAR Lupul eh! he beat my fighter. I will hopefully come back with a rematch. I think it would be good, gotta get some wins first. Cheeseburger was putting a beating on him..I know what mistake made, and hopefully wont make it next time! Good job on the first event, looking forward to the next few!
  11. I have a fighter he fought at 185 yesterday, today he is 187. Does that mean he has to cut 2lbs? I'm wondering what makes him gain weight...How do you cut it? And if I'm fighting at 155 for instance, and someone weighs 165, do they have to drop the weight?
  12. I think you're right about the reason I lost the fight. I figure because like you said my finish, and aggression were on 100%, when he got his back taken, he didn't try to counter at all. He got put to sleep, no tap!. I have another fight today in Montreal, hopefully things work out a bit better for me!
  13. I was mistaken, I looked at the wrong picture for YB, his opponent was the white belt, he was the purple. Makes sense a white belt getting tapped. I mixed up the fighters, for a second I was like damn, white belt subbing a purple belt sounds lame!
  14. as an unbiased game fan. I will have to say like posted before PS3 is a superior system technically and on paper. But 360 has better games, options, its cheaper, and most of the things that PS3 is better for, only matters if you are making a game from what I hear. The graphics are the same. On the plus PS3 has a blu-ray player, and blu ray is pretty sick. The online play is cheap and much better than PS3, as well as the down loadable content is nice. From what I hear from MMA Forums the game is awesome, 1 friend has been playing it all day, and its only Chuck and Shogun on the demo. And many people say they can't get to decision, and its def not a button masher. Apparently you get invites to gyms like Sityoodong and ATT, some pretty cool career options. And you have to train your fighter on single player to get good to play online, if you create a guy to go straight online you only get 75 points or something. I dunno all just what I read other places. I can't wait! WAR TANNER!!!
  15. Its probably going to be some sort of grappling exhibition. I couldn't see this being full strikes, Aoki gets knocked out pretty easily, if he doesn't slide on his ass, or fall on the ground first. http://mmajunkie.com/news/14666/heavyweigh...et-april-29.mma
  16. Im thinking the top P4P guys must have started the game during some serious bugs or something. I was just skimming through YB Sol's fight commentary, literally sub attempt, sub attempt, sub attempt. And he actually subs out purple belts while only being a white belt. Now I saw somewhere that it has been fixed. Seems some people (all same manager) lucked out on that... I wish I got my first fights in like that, I had an awesome game plan for my first fight today, I was pounding the guy out in side control for a minute and somehow he bucked onto my back and easily choked me out. Within a minute.
  17. He cant release him before the fight? Does he just take a loss? what if i make him a free agent
  18. I have the same issue, my fighter is booked to fight for XFE next Saturday in Montreal. My fighter lives in Rio...What does that mean? he won't be able to fight ?
  19. I think a good idea, if possible would be to have a chat box, or message board for the fight orgs. You know have access to talk to people who fight in the same org. Stir up some good fights!!!
  20. I found it through, mmatv. I would like to say amazing job to everyone involved in making this game, very intricate. I'm sure you did a hell of a lot of hard work. Since I started a few days ago, I have my brother playing, and just got my father to create an account. Look forward to some nice fights!
  21. you could cap of the amount of orgs there are per city...And when eventually some go under, new ones should be able to be proposed to the admin or something. Sort of an extra bit of realism. I think with the clothing companies and such, it really shouldn't matter, because if people are actually designing different gear, than it could be ok to have lots of clothing stores, in the real world there are many many stores, but not like 50 or more fight orgs.
  22. Since I have all new fighters, Im testing different approaches to the fighting. I figure if you fight too often, you will lose more often. But I may still use 1 fighter sort of as my "Jeremy Horn" or even Shannon Rich haha. I'm noticing a lot of upcoming opponents have no energy and my new fighters are fresh. I don't know how much of a disadvantage it is going to be when the fights happen.
  23. Now if you're using a muscle supplement, how and where does it affect your stats? Since muscle weighs more, will it cause an increase in your fighters weight if used for long periods? And how long do you have to be using a supplement for it to kick in?
  24. In some of the certain gym comments, I see fighters saying, for instance "saturday pm, was a great sparring session" how can you tell how and when you trained? how it went? how it affected your areas. I would hate to be going to training with nothing happening, and not realize...
