  1. Heh, I have totally ignored this part of the forum as it seemed to just be a place for stupid "I'll do anything to raise my postcount and get spins" wordgames. Now two weeks late I see this thread
  2. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/4/4w15.jpg King Hippo I'm going to tear my own head off and beat you to a bloody pulp with it. I've got a gameplan for you man. You have no idea what's coming this fight, I'll show you some crazy shit.
  3. Sounds interesting if the orgs could have settings for what moves to allow. As injury risk varies depending on the type of move (I assume it does?) it would also make some formats slightly more dangerous than others.
  4. New designs available. Since our red Muai Thai shorts quickly became a huge success we have also added a blue variant. The gi pants we were stocking have been cancelled and pulled from the store as it was found they suffered from a manufacturing defect*. Fortunately none were sold to customers before the problem was detected, if that had happened a full refund would of course have been offered. We welcome input from our customers, if there are specific clothes you would like to see in the store please say so here. *Beginner mistake not taking into account how they would combine with other clothes when worn by a fighter, will not be selling bad designs like that.
  5. While I believe you if you say so it doesn't make sense for realism. Also doesn't match up with what I read in the wiki. There should at least be some advantages like more strength/power for higher weight as it says there, or is that just plain wrong?
  6. King Hippo: People are saying I'm not experienced enough yet, even my manager was trying to tell me it was too soon for a title fight, but screw that! I'm on a roll here and if I get a shot at the title I'm taking it any day no matter who stands before me. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/4/4w15.jpg
  7. Will locations be coming back eventually? If not it makes no sense to keep this.
  8. Following the sudden disappearance of the previous SFC merchandise partner Knockdown Clothes are now stepping in for the next couple of events. We are happy to be able to contribute to our quickly expanding fighting community here in Sydney and will be offering sponsorships for as many fighters as we can afford on the coming fight cards. To further support your local business & fighting organization, we are grateful for any help by mentioning us in your victory speeches.
  9. Thanks. And nice to see we are making sales already, looks promising.
  10. As I am kind of new to this and just started a clothing company I was looking around for what appropriate sponsorship levels would be, anyone willing to give some ballpark figures?
  11. Now there is a new fresh brand for fighters to wear - Knockdown Clothes just opened our store in Sydney as well as our online store. We ship all over the world, visit us at: http://mmatycoon.com/clothingpublic.php?cid=5427 http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1518293224KnockdownLogoYBgrad.jpg We will be looking to sponsor up and coming fighters as well as events.
  12. Interesting, nice to have options in different price ranges for us with Sydney fighters,
  13. I'm was thinking right now about picking up a FA, mostly to get some higher-level slider experience while training my younger fighters. The hardest part for me is to know which FA would be a good pick.
  14. Glass Joe vs. Naruto Uzumaki My first org fight, happy to get a victory. That guy sure was persistent with the takedowns. Was afraid he would get me there on the ground for a while when I had some difficulties to recover guard, but following my managers instructions worked out in the end, he was simply too tired to keep his hands up in the last round.
  15. I think you need to agree on the deal with someone and get the money first, then you buy it directly for that manager. Someone more experienced will soon be around and correct me on this if I'm wrong
  16. Don't worry, even if not going VIP I would have fought out my contracts, really looking forward to some more fights. And now I'm in for the long run, got my VIP, time to start some 18 year olds and aim for the top First one of my fighters to show a sign of weakness will have a new career washing clothes and carrying water bottles.
  17. I could never see any skill pops during my VIP trial, not sure if it was a bug or a trial limit. I know there were changes in skill level. Sounds like I would want a PA eventually, hear the term mentioned somewhere before but never figured out you would need to retire a fighter first.
  18. Might be it is a bit more difficult in the beginning with public gyms and sometimes having to take the training spots that are not too crowded already. But thanks, this thread already gave me some useful tips.
  19. So, end of VIP trial. Time to decide if this game is worth making a serious effort for or not. There are definitely some good parts, I like the strategy of the training and fight tactics parts. I like the pacing, I like the game being a long-term thing. Appreciate the level of detail and complexity that goes into a lot of things like the skill system. I don't like the micromanagement parts, as having to micromanage what is practically non-decisions like what supplement type to eat for each training session and clothes changes. This will get more and more tedious over time. Especially when adding additional fighters. Obviously, if you are in here you probably think the game is more fun than chores. But how do you cope with the less interesting parts of it? Maybe I just missed something obvious like the button "yes please autochange supplements to the appropriate one depending on training type".
  20. Today I had two fighters both starting out with 100% energy. A was training weights with muscle bulk supplement, B was training a secondary with energy loss supplement. They have the same conditioning level (maybe differing 1-3 points within the displayed level). After training difference in energy loss was 0.02% more remaining for B. Does this mean that energy loss varies with training type? Or that I bought a fake energy loss supplement? Edit: Sorry, could be that I mixed up my notes, will need to re-test before I publically shame any nutrition company.
  21. I cannot remember ever joining any alliance, seems to be some default thing. I would be more interested in something smaller with a few people but all being more active in the alliance.
  22. This Tycoon Alliance I seem to be a member of, is there any point in staying in it at all?
  23. Thursdays 10.55pm GMT, and also initially when you sign up for a new gym.
  24. Had the same thought, maybe the solution is to team up and share a gym on two managers with the other running a company to bring in the money for it?
  25. Thanks, slightly above my current budget.. but nice to have an idea about things like this.
