  1. Gianfranco Pagliera makes his debut on 12/12. "The Bully" is set to square off against another untested opponent, in Randy Jones. Pagliera is a Muay Thai striker with a blue belt in BJJ, while Jones is quality boxer/wrestler. Whether the fight remains standing, or goes to the ground, there will surely be a lot of action for the fans in attendance. Pagliera has confidence in all aspects of his game and recently garnered a sponsorship with The Red Eye, a supplement company out of St. Petersburg. Pagliera remarked, "I am grateful for Combat Pro Legacy and The Red Eye for their support and allowing me to showcase my talent. I am a dedicated fighter who will surely make some noise in my division. I had to shed some pounds to make the cut, but I feel stronger than ever." Pagliera's manager, Michael Mazzafro, is new to the MMA scene, but has already established his eye for talent. Under his management, his fighters have accrued a record of 5-0-0. Though Mazzafro's offices are in Las Vegas, NV, he will be cageside at Hyashi's Lounge for Legacy 38.
  2. Banner ad on a very subpar MMA manager game (now defunct). Love it here so far Good luck! Mike
  3. I've worked one up for your upcoming event, PM me and I will give you the link, we can discuss compensation if you choose to use it. Good luck! Mike
  4. "The Bully" Gianfranco Pagliera is under offer to make his MMA debut in Sydney's Combat Pro Legacy. This fighter has trained well, is on the cusp of BJJ Purple and subscribed to the "Anderson Silva" build in PSU's Guide to Building. I want to raise some cash to train with some coaches before the fight in 2 weeks. As a manager, I am 4-0 and this fighter is probably my best build. So, if you want your product's name associated with a winner, send me an offer and I'll be sure to shout out/link in my RPs. Thank you and good luck! Mike
  5. In Trace Bradley's brief MMA career, he has looked impressive while ending both fights early in the first round. Both bouts have been against Muai Thai practitioners, though he is set to face a BJJ blue belt in Tommy Fuller. Fuller appears to be the most well rounded fighter that Bradley has opposed. In the highly competitive ICON ROF Light Heavyweight division there are some talented BJJ artists and Bradley will surely be using this bout as a measuring stick. Bradley has received some attention after his first two fights, landing a sponsorship with Blitzkreig Supplements and the number 5 ranking in his Division. Bradley remarked, "I can't really dwell on these things. It's great that others are recognizing what me and my team knew all along, but I've got a fight to prepare for. Not just any fight, this is the biggest fight of my career. I hope Tommy's taking the same approach, 'cause I'm bringing my A-Game." Bradley's manager, Michael Mazzafro, stated, "Trace has been training hard for this fight, almost like he has something to prove. Earlier today, he even switched gyms. I don't know haw Tommy must have felt, seeing Trace walk into ICON Jawbreakers and start working out. I don't know how much information he could get in one or two sessions, but the kid is dedicated." ROF 6 - Koa - "Bravery" is slated to have some exciting fights and Bradley has yet to let the fans down. A victory tonight for Bradley will turn some heads, but the young fighter is planning for the "big picture". Speaking candidly, Bradley said, "I'm not one to look beyond a fight at hand. However, this is a critical juncture in my career. I plan on training up some before I take another fight. When I win, there are going to be some big dogs eyeing me up, and I'll take all comers... when I'm ready. I trust in my coaching and training. In fighting, there's the next fight and the big picture. Staying disciplined to the regiment for the big picture, you need to prepare for the next fight." Bradley seems confident, but Fuller should not be taken lightly. On paper, Fuller is more rounded, and will surely look to take the fight to the ground. We've only seen a minute and a half minutes of Bradley in action, and none of it has been on the ground. Those in attendance at The Underground in Hilo are sure to see some hard fighting with a spectacular finish.
  6. I think this depends on your conditioning. If you train up Conditioning and use the Weight Loss Supplement during your resting sessions, it shouldn't take too long. I only had to worry about weight with one of my fighters and didn't know of the "use when resting" until I had already shed the pounds. I'd think in the range of 2-4 uses, depending on Conditioning. Of course, I'm sorta' noobish, so wait for corroborating or contradictory opinions. **EDIT** and, OF COURSE, the quality of the supplement Good luck! Mike
  7. The question may have been posed to determine if the fighter would get his rest session (no training) before the fight.
  8. Two questions on weight loss here: 1. If you cut weight, using a supplement, will that weight increase if you stop using a supplement? 2. The help guide states that when you automatically cut down for a fight (within your cutdown limit), if you cut down too much, you are less effective. Has anyone figured out the threshold? Is it based on a static number or relative to the range? Sorry if these questions have already been asked and answered. Good luck! Mike
  9. Tonight's event saw Trace Bradley end Albert Rodriguez's night just over a minute into the first round. At the post-fight press conference, Bradley fielded questions: Q: Another first round knockout for you tonight. You were confident coming into this fight, what were your keys to victory? TB: I've got my training and coaching to credit in this one. We approached this fight with a gameplan and it worked well. Rodriguez strikes hard, we knew that. We needed to avoid the clinch and stick to our strengths. Neither one of us are superb on the ground, so this fight would be won or lost on our feet. Q: You credit your gameplan. Besides staying on your feet, how else did you approach the fight? TB: When you drop someone in 21 seconds, your opponents will be extra wary at the very beginning. This is an advantage, so I tried to capitalize and I came out of the gate firing. He was pretty evasive, but still on the defensive. Then boom! I connected pretty solidly. This is a key point where my coaching gets the credit. I wanted to jump in and finish him, but my corner called me off and we stuck to the gameplan. I hit him hard, I know it hurt him, but he's a tough guy and he didn't drop. I tried to stay on the outside, but he caught me off balance and engaged the clinch. Now, I put a lot of time in training in the clinch. We knew that he was gonna' try and launch knees from the inside and keep me tied up. So, I kept my composure, avoided some blows and takedown attempts and we were back on the outside. Q: Rodriguez did manage to cut you, but you ended it shortly thereafter. What were you thoughts in the final minute of the bout? TB: He was relentless and got me back in the clinch, I just needed to keep fighting through it. He did get some knees in and managed to cut me open. I tried to take him down, but he had none of it, though he did let me get back on the outside. I guess the cut fueled me and I launched a barrage of blows. Upstairs, downstairs, and I even threw some kicks in to catch him off guard. I finally saw my opening and let my left fly. I connected square on the chin and he dropped. I didn't waste any time and dove right in. I needed the finish and the next thing I know, the ref threw his arm in there. Q: Rodriguez was undefeated entering this fight and the favorite to win. There are some great fighters in the Light Heavyweight Division, how do you think you stack up against your opposition? TB: I got to give it to Rodriguez, he's got some power. He rocked me good a couple of times, that's for sure. I'm training with some good fighters, though. I'm not going to drop easy, I can take a shot and I'm not afraid to step in and exchange blows either, 'cause I got some power too... heh. I'm confident that, with my coaching, my training, and my heart, I'm going to make some noise in the Light Heavyweight Division of CPP, and I'm well aware that there's some stiff competition out there. Right now, I've fought two fights, professionally, and put down two good fighters, both in under two minutes. I got the Knockout of the Night in my CPP debut, so things are going good. Q: The fans were on their feet during your fight and I'm sure that they want to see you fight again. How soon should they expect to see you again? TB: The fans come out and wanna' see some hittin'. These are my kind of people. I promise you this, when I step into the ring, the fans will not be disappointed. Tonight, I celebrate, tomorrow, I rest. Come Monday, it's back to training. I'm not going to rush into a fight. I'll be fighting soon enough, just not for the sake of fighting. Every week, I'm becoming a better fighter. I'm reviewing film, addressing flaws and developing my arsenal. The next time I square off, I'm going to be prepared. Just like this fight. Thank you Hilo, CPP, Combat Pro Finesse, my fans, my coaches, and all of the fighters in Kamehameha Training Center. Without you, this night would never be. Thank you, stay strong, and good night.
  10. Iakaka Kalenikipana reporting from Wild Bob's Bar on the big island, in Hilo. Tomorrow night, there will be some great MMA action going on here. Combat Pro Pacific, in conjunction with Hell's Balls Fightwear and Combat Pro Finesse, is presenting CPP 2 - Hoa Paonioni. With ten fights slated, some great MMA action is sure to unfold. I was able to sit down with one of the fighters, Trace Bradley, to talk about his Light Heavyweight bout against Albert Rodriguez. Both fighters bring a 1-0 record into the fight, with Bradley's ending a scant 21 seconds into Round 1. Rodriguez is a Muay Thai specialist, and Bradley is a boxer, a matchup that will surely ignite the fans. Will Bradley live up to his expectations? Or, will Rodriguez send Bradley off with his first loss? One thing is for sure, there will be some fireworks in store for the fans. Come see for yourself tomorrow.
  11. Trace Bradley: Pantera - "5 Minutes Alone" Dynamo MacKenzie: Mudvayne - "Determined" Gianfranco Pagliera: Snot - "Get Some" Marco Sanchez: Streetlight Manifesto - "A Moment of Violence"
  12. I have decent PhotoShop skills and in need of money (as I'm relatively new), so anyone who needs some design work done, shoot me a message and I'll be happy to get to work Good luck! Mike
  13. Perhaps you would be so kind as to inform me of the proper forum rather than just stating "Wrong forum". The description of this forum begins with "Talk about fighters", which is what I am doing. None of the other forum descriptions seemed appropriate, unless you think that my brief mention of Gym membership would mandate the Fight Organization or Company Forum, with which I would strongly disagree. As my post count would suggest, I'm new to these parts, so please be a little more constructive or informative with your criticism. Good luck! Mike
  14. AP- Hilo, Hawaii October 15, 2009 Trace "The Grinder" Bradley made his MMA debut against Wind Miller in remarkable fashion. Neither fighter had any professional bouts to their credit entering the fight, and The Grinder was confident that he would emerge victorious. A well placed early jab by Bradley cut Miller and a quick combo later, Miller is rocked by a solid shot. Without hesitation, Bradley seized his opportunity and attacked his stunned opponent. Furious punches batter the beleaguered Miller and he falls to the canvas, out cold. A scant 21 seconds and the fight was over. Bradley threw his hands up in victory and immediately went to check on Miller. Once Miller was on his feet, Bradley thanked him for the fight and took his place at center ring to receive his victory. After his strong showing in his short professional debut, Bradley will continue to train at The Punching Bag in Hilo to prepare for future bouts. The Grinder's Manager, Michael Mazzafro, was proud of his young fighter, "This kid has pure power. I'm not surprised at the result, honestly. He's rough around the edges, but is blessed with natural talent. He's been impressive in training and we wanted to get a fight in, early in his career. We're not planning on rushing him into another bout. We're going to continue developing his technique and focus his power. Though, he has proven that he has the tools, so we're going to play it by ear. Rest assured, Trace will be back to give the fans another look." Mazzafro, also new to the scene, is splitting time between Hilo and Las Vegas, where he is working with Dynamo "Dynamite" MacKenzie. This young light-heavyweight is preparing for his unscheduled professional debut. When asked about his untested fighter, Mazzafro responded, "With Dynamo, we're taking a different approach. He isn't blessed with the raw power that Trace has, but he has a solid ground game. Dynamo's not going to knock someone out in 21 seconds. He may get a quick submission, but he's not a great boxer. We're putting a lot of time in at the gym, working on his conditioning and technique. I see these two fighters having the talent, heart, and discipline to go far in the sport. They are trusting me to guide their careers and I'm not going to make any rash decisions."
