  1. The Story of Kassim "The Albino Warrior" Magufuli I V; Sad But True The tales of Kassims’s childhood are as tall as the mountain he claims to have climbed. Here’s what we do know. He was born somewhere in rural Tanzania on the southeastern coast of Africa. His formative years were horrendous. The village he grew up in was deeply religious. Kassim was born albino and considered a demon by the village elders. For years he was mutilated, tortured and emotionally belittled. The exact details of his treatment is unknown, but stories of insane things such as fire ants inside eyelids, to drinking snake venom have been told. Miraculously he survived and still developed as a “normal” human. The torturings became less regular but more intense. He knew their ultimate plan was for a grand sacrifice. Here is where the story gets real blurry. At age 15, Kassim fled his village due to, you know, people trying to kill him and all. He was under hot pursuit and wanted dead by his entire village and family (even his own mother and father). He sought refuge on Mt. Kilimanjaro. All that's known is two American Hikers found a disturbing scene at Kilimanjaro’s peak. Kassim was found unconscious, unarmed and covered in blood. He was surrounded by 37 dead tribe elders and elite warriors all heavily armed with spears, axes, and shields (his father and uncle were among the group hunting him). To this day, no one knows exactly what happened. Kassim spent the next two years going through the American refugee program. He eventually settled in New York City and found a job cleaning wrestling mats at a local MMA Club. Early in his career Kassim gave us a small glimpse into his past. Due to harsh criticism and claims of lies Kassim has not spoken about his formative years in over a decade. When you get to know Kassim he is incredibly kind and genuine. To think he went through things like that and is still so productive is amazing. While he won’t talk about his childhood, ask him anything about his fighter career or current life and he will chat with you for hours. I caught up with Kassim and asked him a few questions at his resident gym, The legendary Little Lebowski Urban Achievers Gymnasium BH- Tell me about your favorite fight? KV- Oh Benjamin what a bull shirt generic question hahahah. I'll oblige, to be honest as a fighter I try to always think about the next fight. So Melek Taus is my favourite fight even though it has even happened yet. But looking back of course a couple stand out. Winning the belt off of Mick Murphy back at Sync 641, was pretty insane, not a lot of people gave me a chance there. BH-If you could fight one guy in the future who would it be? KV- Honestly I would fight some low key people. There is a whole network of international “tough guys” who are enforcers for illegal operations. A lot of us fighters get offered a “rough em up” contract here and there. Those guys really piss me off. There are a few out there who I would gladly square up with. What's next for you career wise? KV- Melek Taus is the immediate future. Then back to Synchronicity to defend my belt. I love super fights. I am the baddest man on the planet, period. I heard what Nick Shamrock said, it’s cute. I would smash him like an avocado at a tex-mex restaurant. If anyone anyclass anywhere wants it, I will gladly oblige. Thoughts on Synchronicity as an Org. KV- Top class, pure top class. Great fights, crossover fights which I love. President Alex Maniatakos is a real cool guy for letting me do crossover fights. You won't see management have such a good relationship with fighters like this very often. Thoughts on your crossover fights? KV-As I said before, anyone, anywhere, anytime. If you are a legit pro we might as well make money while we do it. That being said, I do enjoy fun fights. I want to see those guys everybody else is afraid of. What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? My super fights answer just that. How important is P4P Rankings (Kassim is currently #1 worldwide light heavyweight rankings and #4 on p4p rankings ? KV- To me, when I fight I block everything out. I don't care if I am fighting a blackbelt or a neighborhood tough guy, either way I am zoned in. As far as lifestyle and respect? The world recognizing you for the value you offer is all I ever wanted and it feels amazing. Tell me about your childhood? KV- Mate, fuck off, I’ll walk out. I've always wanted to spar with a pro, can we step into the gym for a sec? KV- Gladly 30 seconds of Kassim walloping me. 10 seconds in he suplexed me, moved to mount and finished me with 20 seconds of hammerfists and elbows. After an hour of recovery we resumed. BH- How is the love life? KV- It's active. People love the champ, the champ loves the people. BH- If they were a fan at home struggling with something, what would be your advice? KV- Believe in yourself. Even if people around you tell you that you're evil and ugly. Even if they rip your nails off and stick your hand in boiling lemon juice. Even if they force you to eat a rotten antelope carcass that is months old...still believe in yourself. And if you see a large gathering of people with spears pointing at you, run away fast! It's not often an interview will leave me feeling as shook up as that one did. It could have been the hammer fists but it also was his story. Kassim "The Albino Warrior" Magufuli I V, the man, the warrior, the survivor. Sad but True.
  2. HFC KO 2 - Havoc Vs. Cabrera Event Review Folks, this night was just bonkers. The Champ VS. Champ fight gave us 3 action packed rounds, KO’s were all over the place and statements were made by multiple fighters saying “I am here come and get it”. After a night like this, the HFC is extremely excited. They will have their hands full getting the rankings in order as there is sooo much great talent in this Organization. President J.W. Hardman embraces the challenge. “It gets tougher every week, but I love it. Every event is bigger, all our fighters are improving, and our roster continues to grow. Me and the HFC team are processing all of this and making great cards every week”. Let’s jump into this card and look at the fights. ©Heller Cabrera (10-1) defeats ©“The Maniac” Wreak Havoc (11-3) via Decision (Unanimous) - 145lb Featherweight non-title cross promotion bout (Fight of Night). Tonight was not Havoc’s night. Our champ fought valiantly through three brutal rounds. Cabrera’s punching was just relentless, he ripened the body and face of our beloved Havoc. Post fight Havoc said “Man, tonight I was outclassed, going in, we knew his boxing was top class but when you’re in there live it's just different”. We know our champ will be back stronger than ever defending his belt against a hungry opponent soon. I will say this must be encouraging for any HFC 145lb contender; the champ can be beaten. Hats off to Cabrera, he is only 20 years old and clearly has a bright future. Perhaps another super fight between HFC and WolfPac Fighting Alliance can take place in the future. Conor “Eat Meat” Butcher (6-0) defeats Arnao Vanegas (4-2) via 1st round TKO (Strikes) - 155lb Lightweight bout. It's really rare I get to use a quote from my event preview in my post fight write up, but….drum roll please…. “Conor Butcher gets a fresh slab of meat after he finishes Arnao with some nasty ground and pound.” - Me HFC KO 2 Preview. This tells the whole story folks. Quick takedown for Butcher early in round one, move to mount, proceed to bash and then proceed to party. Conor Butcher now sits at #2 in the rankings, we will keep an eye on this red hot undefeated contender. Boris Balkan (3-0) defeats Fred Freds (4-3) via 2nd round KO (Punches) - 265lb Heavyweight bout. Boris Balkan confirmed what pretty much all of us thought. He is pretty darn good. By knocking out Freds he solidified himself in the top ten and could be drawing a legitimate contender next. “I'm excited” Boris said, “I know I'm the young buck of the division but when the ref says “fight” does age really matter?.... No! Skill, size and strength matter, and in those aspects I am willing to compete with ANYONE”. Strong words from a brute of a man, another fun prospect to keep an eye on. On the other side Freds needs to get back in the W column. Look for him to draw a top 15 opponent next. John “Horse” Henry (5-1) defeats Mild “Peppa” Paplano (3-1) - 155lb Lightweight bout. Here’s a great example of a pre-fight prediction being wayyy off. We thought this would be a back and forth chess match with each fighter feeling each other out for a bit. Henry was having none of that. Out of nowhere, less than a minute in, John “Horse” Henry unloaded a bomb that put Paplano down. We all knew Paplano had to get the fight to the ground for him to stand (pun intended) a chance. Henry knew if that did happen it would not be good. Hats off to Henry for great execution, he is rewarded with a place in the top 10 and KO of the Night Honors. UnderCard Such a great undercard. The judges took the early part of the night off as every fight was a finish. I swear after the third fight they just stopped working for a while and took a break. Shout out to Balink Tarlah as he deservingly cracks the 155lb top 10 rankings for the first time after his performance. Every fighter that won on the undercard is now ranked somewhere in the top 10 of their divisions. HFC does a great job of keeping their fighters active, and making fights that promote healthy division movement. 155 lbs Balink Tarlah defeats Drapton Heed 2nd round TKO (Strikes) 145 lbs Justin Case defeats Kevin Walters 1st round TKO (Strikes) 135 lbs Lorenzo Bataglia defeats Jack Sparrow 1st round TKO (Strikes) 265+ lbs Killer Bee defeats Shirley Crabtree 1st round TKO (Strikes) 265+ lbs Rogerio Duarte defeats Lug Luger 1st round KO (Punch) 265 lbs Bobby Finland defeats Brock Means 1st round KO (Strikes) Folks we are proud and honored to bring you a night of fights. On behalf of the HARDCORE Fighting Championship we hope you enjoyed and fight on! -BH
  3. Core Combat is looking for a organization to partner with. Please message Benjamin Halle if you are interested.
  4. HFC 16 - Waller vs Repine Event Review Did I mention cards in Rio are usually legendary? I did mention that, (check the preview). I will be honest with you all, I am not usually right, in fact, people who know me, often call me four letter words that imply the exact opposite. But on this occasion, I was RIGHT!!!! Ten fights, count them TEN and NINE of those ten were fights ended in stoppage. That's right folks, we had an insane 90% finish rate here at HFC 16! “Exceeded all expectations on every front”, HFC President J.W. started off with, “We don't plan for a 90% finish rate but when the matchups lineup and Rio just has that certain something, fireworks can happen. It’s time to celebrate. I will be at the HFC VIP lounge”. Let's look at what happened and talk about how this night became so epic. Doug "And The" Slugs(9-1) defends his 265lb+ Super Heavyweight Championship Bout as he defeats Julio "Iguanaman" Falcon (6-4) via 1st round TKO (Strikes)- This one was just brutal to watch. Slugs absolutely dominated in the clinch and made short work of Iguanaman. At one point it looked like Slugs turned into a massive three hundred pound spider with elbows and knees coming from everywhere. Within one minute from the start of the fight Falcon was cut. A couple painstaking minutes of knees and elbows later, Falcon crumpled to the canvas and the ref called an end to the beating and an end to a great night of fights. Slugs deservingly won KO of the night. Falcon was immediately transported to the local hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery and had this comment, “Good fight, couple elbows surprised me but I will be back. Respect to the champ, it is his night”. Humble words from a great fighter, we will keep an eye on Falcon’s return. Also to note the ring did not break which was a key concern going into the fight due to the sheer mass of the fighters. Rankings Impact: Champ stays atop his throne and likely faces the winner of the match between #1 Contender Matthaus Gold "Dust" Vs. #5 Li "Strong" Qiang at HFC 19. Falcon sits at 4 in the rankings. He will need to put together a few wins to get another shot, but still remains in a solid position as a top contender. Chad Repine (7-3) wins the vacant 135lb Bantamweight Championship Bout as he defeats Jack Waller (7-1) via 2nd round TKO (Punches) Chad Repine just announced himself on the HFC scene and folks watch out. We’ve all heard the sparring horror stories of Repine knocking sparring partners out cold on a daily basis , now we’ve seen it first hand. Waller had no answers for Repine anywhere. The fight never saw the ground, but in stand up exchanges Repine out landed Waller 46-21. In the clinch Repine landed 39 strikes to Waller’s 7….ouch. Don't get me wrong, Waller actually looked pretty solid. Those 21 shots were good strikes, but Repine was just relentless. Eventually all that punishment took its toll and Waller was put down permanently in the second round. This fight took home the honor of Fight of Night, as it was a fast paced battle that had great exchanges. Rankings Impact: The stage is set perfectly for the new champ Chad Repine to face the winner of #3"Natural" Mystic Marley Vs. #1 Alan Ragasatria. Jack Waller stays at #2 in the rankings. He may face the loser from the fight above or a different fighter who thinks they deserve his spot in the rankings. If Cody G. ever shows up then who knows what happens... Lucas Pardo (6-2) defeats Nick "Bear" Wright (2-3) via 1st round TKO (Strikes) - 265lb Heavyweight Division Bout “It is always fun when a high ranked HFC contender takes on a well respected newcomer from an outside organization.” My exact quote from the event preview. I was right, Nick’s welcome to the HFC was fun for some, but Nick was not one of them. Nick’s opponent, Lucas Pardo, showed we do things very different here in the HFC and as predicted by yours truly, Lucas handed Nick a brutal TKO loss within 30 seconds of the fight beginning (I was one round off on my prediction). Also to note Lucas was very humble in his post fight comments, thanking the fans and not mentioning anything title related. Rankings Impact: Lucas sticks at #5, he will need to face a top 5 contender to start making a move towards another title shot. However Lucas looked great and he showed HFC Heavyweights can bang with anyone. Nick will go back to the drawing boards. He will be just fine here in HFC but may not be ready for top 8 talent just yet. Togachi "Little Mountain" Nakamoto (1-2) defeats Piotr "Pepis" Przepiorka (4-2) via An interesting fight that saw a lot of clinchwork, takedowns, and sub attempts. By the second round both fighters were exhausted and locked into a clinch. Togachi “Little Mountain” landed a massive boulder of a knee that sent Piotr to lala land. Togachio followed the knee with some punches and eventually finished it all with an amazing diving hammer fist. Rankings Impact: Piotr falls from #9 to unranked, Togachi gets a much needed win. One or two more of those for him and he will be looking for his name in the top 10. UnderCard This undercard was great. Huge shout out to Tanaka Matsuda, for taking home the Submission of the Night award courtesy of a nasty armbar. It looked so painful I iced my elbow just from watching it. 185llbs- Tanaka Matsuda defeats Paolinho Antonio Mateis Laeiro via 1st round Submission (armbar), (Submission of Night) 265+ lbs- Jason Royce defeats Dookie Shoes via 1st round KO (Punches) 265 lbs- Rand Madness defeats Julius Reed via Decision (Unanimous) 155 lbs-Nobuki Imanari defeats Luigi Bonifacio via 1st round Submission (Rear Naked Choke) 145 lbs-Daniel Koh defeats Rodrigo Pettis via 1st round TKO (Strikes) 145 lbs-John Rambo defeats Charlie Patch via 1st round KO (punches) Folks as always we are proud to bring you a great night of fights. HFC is growing fast and putting on high quality events every week. The Rankings are updated weekly on Monday and will take into account all action that happens over the weekend. -BH
  5. Can you upload your own? Any image that is the right size?
  6. BFC 4: Mullin vs. Cole Well hello Rio De Janeiro!!! Bloodbath Fighting Championship is back to bring their fourth event ever!! Let me tell you folks, this league is on the rise and this card shows just that. I will be honest, every time I cover a night of fights in Rio I get really excited. No it's not just the vibrant nightlife and easily accessible hallucinogens, it is the fact that every time I watch a night of fights here, someone gets brutally knocked out. As this Organization continues to grow in size and talent the events they are putting are becoming more and more electric. May 8th 2020 will be no different, as this card is stacked. Let's take a look at some of the evening's top fights. ©Herbert Mullin (13-8) Vs. Rico "Red Hot" Cole (29-16-1) - 265lb Open Weight Championship What a treat we get as two legends duke it out with incredibly high stakes on the line. The winner will likely be the future BFC Lightweight Champion once BFC divisions fill out. We have two beasts duking it out for BFC’s only current belt, the BFC 265+ Open Weight Championship. Rico Red”Hot” Cole has fought in some of the world's top organizations. His signing to BFC made headlines worldwide and he has lived up to the hype. He fought at BFC1 and BFC2 both unanimous wins. He is a very well rounded fighter but likes to stand and utilize his elite Muay Thai. His opponent, the Champ, Herbert Mullin, should be just fine with that, as he also likes to bang. Herbert has also been active for BFC racking up wins at BFC1 and 3. Expect these two to put on a show and throw bombs back and forth until someone goes night night. Prediction: Rico “Red Hot” Cole sizzles Herbert all fight then puts him out in the 3rd with a KO. “Wild" Derek Wylde (17-9) Vs. Sebastian "Der Kaiser" Halstenberg (14-9) - 265lb Open Weight Bout “Wild” Derek Wylde was so close to being tonight's main event. AT BFC 3 he faced the champ but came up short. He now looks to rebound against a very dangerous opponent in Sebastian "Der Kaiser" Halstenberg. Sebastian has not had a great start here in BFC as he is 0-2 (BFC1 and 3). That being said Sebsatian is a proven fighter and will be a force once he gets some momentum behind him. He looks to do just that in this fight. Both of these fighters are natural welterweights, so this fight will have big implications in that division moving forward for BFC. Both fighters are really good wrestlers, expect a lot of grappling with some occasional haymakers. Prediction: Wild Derek rebounds quickly and gets back in the win column after some nasty GNP leads to a 2nd round TKO. A furious Sebsatian goes on a rampage in the locker room, then during the press conference proceeds to blame local food poisoning for his poor performance (even though I saw him out at the bars the night before the fight…) Darren "The Demon Seeker" Dos Santos (3-0) Vs. Phil Wang (2-0) - 145lb Featherweight Bout Two very dangerous undefeated Featherweights. Both these kids are having great starts to their careers. For one, the first taste of defeat will be bitter. For the other it will be a huge step forward in an already fast moving career. Phil wants to box, Darren the Demon wants to grapple. Whoever gets their way will win this fight. Prediction: Phil dances with a Demon and lives to tell the tale. Phil Wang wins by 1st round KO. "Turbo" Todd Wad (2-3) Vs. Taj "Hounddog" Balandabad (1-3) - 185lb Middleweight Bought Stylistically this is a very intriguing fight. Turbo Todd is a dangerous striker but wants absolutely nothing to do with any ground fighting. Taj “Hounddog” Balandabad traditionally is a Muay Thai fighter. However he wrestled a lot growing up and is quite capable on the ground. Will Taj want to stand and bang like usual? Or will he capitalize on his opponents lack of ground game and try to take the fight there? Prediction: Turbo Todd lands some big shots but eventually gets caught by a spinning backfist and goes down in the 3rd. No wrestling takes place at any point. Taj wins by KO. Jackie "The Rack" Vergys (4-3) Vs. Waampa "Voodoo " Woodoo (1-5) - 135lb Bantamweight Bout This will be a really fun fight. Look, record wise both have to improve. But they are in good gyms and now aligned with a growing league so fights like this will help them start to build momentum. Jackie is a lethal bjj practitioner. Waampa holds his own in bjj but really will be looking to strike. If Waampa forces Jackie to strike, the fight is his. If this thing goes to the ground, Jackie will have the advantage but not a dominating one. Prediction: Waampa starts the climb to .500 after he fights a great overall fight and wins via unanimous decision. Undercard A great slab of undercard fights for you. We will keep an eye on all of our up and comers as the develop. 170 lbs Augustin Beniamin Dionisie v Jure Jez 170 lbs Mate Kertezs v Matt Cruz 185 lbs Vernon White v Bo Garrett 265 lbs Price Lends v Henry Hazlitt 265 lbs Logen Grim v Thorolf Kveldulfsson Bloodbath Fighting Championship is proud to bring you this great night of fights. BFC 5 is coming up, keep an eye out for the upcoming event preview.
  7. What a night of fights! The Professor with a huge upset! 5th round TKO are you kidding me? Stanley the Blade sliced his opponent as predicted! Check the write up for exact round and stoppage prediction!
  8. HFC 16 - Waller vs Repine RIO DE JANEIRO!!! We are so happy to say hello to you again. This will be our FIRST event in Rio under the banner of HARDCORE Fighting Championship. We have hosted events here before that have been legendary (RIP Tito, big ups homie) but not under our new re-branding of HARDCORE Championship Fighting. Now of course HFC President J.W. Hardman wanted to make sure that Rio gets treated with something special on the night of our return. “This is a special card, 2 belts getting wrapped tonight, bonuses will be flying. I mean just look at the headliner, that's 600 pounds of mean killing machines going at it”. Hardman is referring to the headline fight which will pit Super Heavyweight Champ Doug "And The" Slugs Vs Julio "Iguanaman" Falcon. Both fighters are 300 pounds and literally eat baby elephants for breakfast. What an exciting night, As I type this I am struggling to not succumb to the overwhelming joy that is surging through my body. Lets breakdown the cards top fights- ©Doug "And The" Slugs (8-1) Vs. (2)Julio "Iguanaman" Falcon (6-3) - 265lb Super Heavyweight Championship In his two fights here at HFC, our Super Heavyweight Champion Doug Slugs has been nothing short of dominant. He is lethal with his hands, elbows, knees and feet when standing. He also has a great ground game. We should be proud to have such a well rounded champ. However, HFC has some of the best talent in the world and Slugs opponent will be his greatest challenge to date. Julio “The IguanaMan” Falcon is also extremely well rounded and has looked equally impressive in his two HFC fights. This fight was the one that everyone wanted to see in the Super Heavyweight division. Really the only hestion from HFC matchmaker Igor Peixoto for making this fight was the issue of finding a proper ring. “Look these are some big boys, regulation rings can take thousands of pounds of pressure, but when you consider mass, speed and velocity there is potential for ring thresholds to be broken. We did our due diligence, we will have a reinforced ring in Rio that can handle the impact of an asteroid.” Reports are that the Brazilian Government wanted to buy this ring from HFC after the event to use as a bomb shelter. HFC refused, as they will need this ring for future events. Everything about this fight is extraordinary, including the ring. Prediction: An instant classic that shapes the history of the HFC SuperHeavyWeight division. Many claim it is a lock for fight of the year. Current Champ Doug Slugs loses an insanely close split decision that sees action standing and all over the ground. Rematch is imminent, good thing we already have the ring. (1)Jack Waller (7-0) Vs. (5)Chad Repine (6-3) - 135lb Bantamweight Championship - (Vacant Belt) It takes a strong man to be patient and disciplined. For his whole life Jack Waller has embodied those things and it led him to becoming the HFC 135lb champion. Life was great. But in life, things happen. When a massive merger took place that saw a huge influx of talent join HFC. It forced Jack to relinquish his 135lb title. What would you do if you were Jack? I would be distraught, heartbroken and calling my mom hourly. Well Jack is a stronger man than me. He just got back to work. He kept winning and guess what? Here Jack is fighting for “his” belt. “Look business is business, I focus on what I can control, which is these hands, any want some smoke? (*epic 15 punch air combo)”. Powerful words from Jack Waller. All that stands in Jack’s way from reuniting with his belt is not a current champ. No, the former current champ (sounds weird I know), is still MIA. President Hardman made the tough call and stripped the MIA champ of his belt. There's a full statement from Hardman on that situation in the league forum, please refer there for any questions regarding that situation. Instead Jack Waller will face off against the man who most recently challenged the former champ, Chad Repine. While Chad did lose that title match, both match maker Igor Peixoto and President Hardman feel Chad is worthy of title contention. I went to a couple of Chads sparring sessions and I agree, that kid can fight. He knocked a sparring partner out cold for 30 minutes. They just put the guy in the corner of the gym lying unconscious and kept training. I asked, “is it okay to just leave him there?”, they responded “it happens all the time to all of us, he (sparring partner) should be fine, Frank (former sparring partner) did die, but that was from an insane flying knee which we don't allow Chad to do in sparring anymore…” . Chad’s sparring partner did wake up (thank god) and was pretty lighthearted about the whole thing. Crazy, I know. Anyways, this will be a great fight, whoever wins will be a very deserving champion. Both fighters are comfortable standing and exchanging, or going to the ground. This fight will showcase all aspects of MMA. Prediction: Chad shows he is Championship worthy and finishes Jack with a nasty right hand. Chad Repine -Win by KO (5)Lucas Pardo (5-2) Vs. Nick "Bear" Wright (2-2) - 265lb Heavyweight Division Bought It is always fun when a high ranked HFC contender takes on a well respected newcomer from an outside organization. This is exactly what we have here. The Heavyweight division is already stacked and we’ve already witnessed a lot of the top guys throw down. Lucas is fresh off of a loss against the current champ and all around beast of a man, Lynch “Moral Low” Boshank. Before the title shot Lucas beat another top Heavyweight contender in Kirill Semenov. Semenov lost to Pardo but then beat another top contender Jack Sparrow. Needless to say the top of the heavyweight division is quite interesting. Enter stage left newcomer Nick "Bear" Wright. With a win here, the division will be even more shook up. Even if Nick loses, look for him to be fighting top 10 guys in the HW division in HFC for the foreseeable future. Lucas is dangerous all over, Nick will look to showcase his bjj as he may be outmatched in the standup category. Prediction: Nick’s welcome party is cut short, Lucas Pardo wins with a 2nd Round TKO and begins his climb back up the rankings. Post fight, Lucas grabs the mike from Joe Rogan. He calls for a rematch with the champ during a profanity laced rant that touches topics from politics to baking recipes. The crowd in Rio goes crazy, they love every second of it. (9)Piotr "Pepis" Przepiorka (4-1) Vs. Togachi "Little Mountain" Nakamoto (0-2) - 155lb Lightweight Bought One of these fighters will get their first win under the HFC banner. Piotr was 4-0 coming into his HFC debut, but lost via armbar in the 2nd round. Togachi has only two fights, both in HFC, both losses. Good on the kid for jumping into the deep end, he is only 19. Both guys are talented and will have solid HFC careers as they develop. Togachi wants to utilize his Muay Thai and strike, Piotr will look for takedowns and submissions. Prediction: Togachi shows a ton of heart and comes close to finishing Piotr with some big shots, but Piotr’s relentless submission attempts eventually work, Togachi gets caught in a kimura 3rd round. UnderCard The undercard is a tribute to how fast HFC is growing and how deep their talent is. We will be watching all of these fighters as they progress and begin to climb the HFC rankings. 185 lbs Tanaka Matsuda v Paolinho Antonio Mateis Laeiro 265+ lbs Dookie Shoes v Jason Royce 265 lbs Rand Madness v Julius Reed 155 lbs Nobuki Imanari v Luigi Bonifacio 145 lbs Rodrigo Pettis v Daniel Koh 145 lbs John Rambo v Charlie Patch Folks we are proud and honored to bring you this night of fights. On behalf of the HARDCORE Fighting Championship enjoy and fight on!
  9. HFC KO 2 - Havoc Vs. Cabrera Hello Montreal and Hello fight fans from all over the world. April 25th 2020 is Judgement Day. HARDCORE Fighting Championship brings you a steller card stacked with talent. HFC president J.W. Hardman would like to personally thank the Mayor of Montreal for allowing unlimited overtime hours for all hospital workers; we are anticipating mass violence. Lets Jump right into the fights- ©Heller Cabrera (9-1) v ©“The Maniac” Wreak Havoc (11-2) - 145lb Featherweight Folks it's official, sound the bell, we have a Champ Vs.Champ fight, I repeat CHAMP V CHAMP. Our own HFC Featherweight champ is defending HFC honor as he takes on WolfPac Fighting Alliance’s Featherweight Champion Heller Cabrera. Wreak Havoc has lived up to his name and won the HFC Featherweight belt in just two fights. Coming off a phenomenal 1st round TKO against top 5 contender Rodrigo Lima, Havoc is hot right now and ready for this grand challenge. Heller is a champ for a reason, he’s won 7 in a row, 4 of which have been in the well respected WolfPac Fighting Alliance. Both of these fighters have defended their belts one time. Expect this fight to stay standing until someone gets hit so hard their legs don't work anymore. Then that person will go to the ground, the other one will jump on them and punch them. I think what I am trying to say is that someone is getting knocked out. Prediction: Would love to choose our guy Havoc but it is my professional duty to give my unbiased opinion. Heller wins by 3rd round TKO. (6)Conor “Eat Meat” Butcher (5-0) v (3)Arnao Vanegas (4-1) - 155lb Lightweight Great fight between two really good up and comers. We have an elite grappler in Conor taking on a very dangerous striker in Arnao. Conor only 20 and Arnao only 21. Who will be able to inflict their gameplan? Logic says either Conor gets KO’d standing or Arnao uses his wrestling and ground and pounds his way to a TKO. However, logic can be a weird thing and this is a fight, so who knows what may happen. Wherever this fight is, one fighter will be really comfortable and one will be really uncomfortable. Looking at the rankings this fight has huge implications. Winner may be sniffing a title shot soon. The loser will taste the sting of defeat but will still have a bright future ahead. Prediction: Conor Butcher gets a fresh slab of meat after he finishes Arnao with some nasty ground and pound. Fred Freds (4-2) v (10)Boris Balkan (2-0) - 265lb Heavyweight Boris Balkan is a very intriguing prospect. At just 19 years old he is dangerous with his striking and his submissions; he already has a submission victory and a KO victory to his name. Boris will face his greates test ye in the form of Fred Freds. Freds is much more experienced than Boris and likely going to be eager to stand and exchange fistacuffs in the center of the ring. Boris sits at 10 in the rankings, a win he keeps climbing, a loss and Freds likely takes his place there. Prediction: Boris lands a monster head kick in the 2nd for a KO. Freds wakes up in the hospital and says “it was fun”. Keep an eye on Boris in the standings, this writer is all aboard the hype train for that young prospect. Mild “Peppa” Paplano (3-0) v John “Horse” Henry (4-1) - 155lb Lightweight Two fighters looking to work their way into the top ten. A win here will help do just that for one of them. Mild “Peppa” Paplano will look to grapple and apply submissions. John “Horse” wants nothing to do with those submissions and will look to keep the fight standing. This should be a really close fight. With so much on the line don't expect either fight to quit. Prediction: John “Horse” Henry wins a back and forth split decision. Both fighters agree they should run it back, HFC lightweight champ Jose Carvaleho tweets out post fight that the fighters embrace at the end “was cute” and if they run it back they should wear head gear and leg pads so no one gets hurt. UnderCard The undercard features some great up and comers who will be eager to show they are destined for big things. We will keep an eye on these fights and highlight any spectacular performances in our post fight write up. 155 lbs Balink Tarlah v Drapton Heed 145 lbs Kevin Walters v Justin Case 135 lbs Jack Sparrow v Lorenzo Bataglia 265+ lbs Shirley Crabtree v Killer Bee 265+ lbs Lug Luger v Rogerio Duarte 265 lbs Brock Means v Bobby Finland Folks we are proud and honored to bring you this night of fights. 10. Raven KT League Creation Event Folks the time has come! Anticipation has been building all week. Raven KT League will be hosting its creation tournament, live here in Montreal. Congratulations Montreal, you officially have a KickBoxing League. There will be fighters from all over the globe flying in to prove they are the most elite kick boxer in the world. League owner Andrew Wittig has been scouring the globe to find the next big thing. “All the heavy lifting is done, the arena is set, these fighters are killers man, I know they are frothing to get in that ring and initiate some violence.” When you look at the card prepared you have to agree. Over the course of two days Raven KT has lined up 13 fights for you! Night one is special. How great is it to see a fighters debut? How about seeing 12 fighters make their debut? That's right, all 6 fights will feature fighters who are making their professional debuts. I am going on record now, at least 1 of those 12 will be a belt holder in their career. Here is a list of the matchups from night one. 5/1/2020 145LB - Ace Boogie Vs Yanni Laurel 145LB - Tang Maui Vs Katashi Suzuki 145LB - Randy Warner Vs Jason Wysocki 205LB - Fred Kemanyo Vs Big Bong 205LB - Carlos Batistuta Vs Randy Kt King 145LB - Paulaner Salvator Vs Aly Magomedov We will be looking for stand out performers and storylines as the season progresses. Rumours already flying that a lot of these guys do not like each other. The welcome banquet quickly turned into an all out brawl with reports of Tang Maui smashing a platter of shrimp puffs over Big Bong’s head due to a dispute on proper hip placement during guard. Now on to night two, and let me tell you it is something special. First off, we have 12 fighters making their professional debut. Future champ among them?... Probably. Who wants to be great will be the question asked of every fighter over the two nights of fights. Everyone will have an opportunity to announce themselves with authority to the Kickboxing community. Who will take the opportunity and run with it? Now onto the really special part. Raven KT has brought in two legends of the sport. Jorehan Krakenbreaker will take on Marvin " Il Coltello" Vettori. This is a real treat for the fans as these two have over 40 MMA fights combined and over 15 kickboxing fights combined. Both are immensely skilled at Kickboxing but the matchup is a unique one. Il Coltello walks around about 30 pounds heavier than Jorehan but Jorehan is a couple inches taller. This will be a great fight, I expect blood and a KO. Below is a full card for the second night. 5/2 265LB - Jorehan Krakenbreaker Vs Marvin " Il Coltello" Vettori 170LB - Gulliermo "The Director" Del Torro Vs Kick Boxer Jr 170LB - Johnny "Red" Walker Vs Joe "Knuckle Sandwich Artist" Subway 170LB - Moldy Peach Vs Hannibal "T" Rex 205LB - Micah Tavern Vs Joe "Little" Moody 205LB - Larry "Exponencial" Williams Vs "Calm" Dom Diego 170LB - Andrew Harrison Vs Chu Mi Bianfu Being in Montreal this week and hanging with the fighters, there has been a weird sense of calmness (besides the whole shrimp puff debacle). Like a sweet breeze subtly hinting at the storm to come. Board up your windows Montreal, Raven is here and it is bringing a storm of kicks, punches and KO’s with it.
  11. Hello All- This will be kicking off a new series, where we will be doing weekly Fighter Spotlights! Do you have a fighter fighting in Synchronicity that deserves to be spotlighted? Message me and there could be write up on him! For this first one we have selected our beloved and dangerous "Irish" Nick Shamrock. Irish is a dominate champion and near the top of the P4P champ list. Enjoy “Irish Nick” they always called him... or “Lucky Shamrock”, “Slick Nick” too. All over Liverpool people called him different names, but everyone knew who he was. Eventually people just called him “Irish”, which is weird because he’s English, but that’s the way Irish likes it, as he embraces any spotlight. Born from MMA royalty, his uncle and namesake, Nick Shamrock is a MMA pioneer. Uncle Nick started training Irish from an infantile state. Irish became a street legend long before his anticipated MMA debut; off record Irish claims to have been in 3,000 street fights (0 gun battles and only 1 knife fight “Your body is the only weapon ever needed”). Fast forward a few years, and Irish is a dominant champion and literally everybody knows his name. Synchronicity President Alex Maniatakos said this, “Irish is a living legend, I do not know if there is a 145lb out there who can take him down. I am honestly curious if another living being at that weight can beat him. In my mind I do not see how 145lb could be more efficient and dangerous than Irish. I assure you, we (Synchronicity) will continue to throw the most dangerous possible opponents at him, but every time it is the same result. As they say, it is the era of Irish; the English are here!” Next time you have a moment click the “rankings'' button. Look over to the mid left at the Pound for Pound Rankings. Up near the top “Irish” Nick Shamrock has made himself very comfortable. Rumors have been flying that he is constantly challenging everyone on that P4P list to meet him for a fight. “Prove it,” he says. “I really do believe I am the best in the world at any weight. Fight organizations do not want me to fight a 265lb; but in the street there are no weight classes. If you are on the P4P list, you have an obligation to accept any call out anywhere”.-Irish Nick. Interesting point, maybe a super fight between Irish and Kassim Magufuli I V (Synch 205lb champ) is in the works... Looking at Irish’s record, he is an amazing 45-8 overall. Here is the crazy part folks, of his 53 fights, 29 have been with a title on the line. That is insane. Irish is a pair of jeans on a fat man after a diet; he needs a belt! Even more impressive is his most recent stretch of fights. Six title defenses in the most elite fighting organization in the world. Time after time Irish has been served up killers. Irish remains unfazed and continues to put on a clinic. None more impressive than his most recent victory. Being real, Irish was down on the cards. He was losing the fight and getting out struck. Years of hardship building into one moment. Stair climbs at age three, an overzealous uncle at the top of the staircase timing you and screaming; missing every single school dance to train, fighting everyday in the gym and on the streets, never getting to say one last goodbye to your mom, because you were overseas learning about bjj. All those hardships came together and united themselves within Irish in the 3rd round. Where a slowly tiring opponent was slowly gaining hope that he could be the one to take Irish down, “Just two more rounds” the challenger thought to himself. Then, in a flash Irish unloaded an uppercut that carried with it the power of 37 years of hardship. It instantly KO’d his opponent. "And Still" Bruce said loudly, followed by a roar from the crowd that could break double pane windows. What does the future hold for Irish? Who knows, Irish is 37 but has shown no signs of slowing down. “In the street you never plan two fights ahead. It is always your next fight. If you survive that one, then plan accordingly.”-Irish Looks like we will definitely see Irish for another fight, after that we will plan accordingly. -BH https://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=280120
  12. An All Time Great has Retired, One Writers Tribute to this Legend- Kalervo Kaunismieli Born from mysterious origins. All that is known is from ages 4 -16 Kalervo Kaunismieli was raised by a group of traveling nomads in southern Finland. At the age of 16 Kalervo split from his tribe and began a walkabout. He spent the next two years traveling all over the world, taking odd jobs. He began to develop a reputation as a pure spirited and honest man. Tales of his good deeds would follow him from city to city. On his 18th birthday many witnessed him heroically stop a mugging. By this time Kalervo had made it all the way to New York City. One of the people who happened to witness this stoppage, which was done by way of an amazing superman punch, that instantly KO’d the assailant, was well respected fight manger Billy Arseworth. Turns out the traveling nomads who raised Kalervo have a deep history. They are known as the “Valitut Ihmiset” or Chosen People. They value all aspects of life. They have a strict lifestyle that encompasses hours of daily training. Focusing on mental, spiritual, and physical teachings. It is said they practice every known religion (except scientology) and every known martial art. Billy Arseworth knows talent when he sees it. He quickly introduced himself to Kalervo. Little did Billy know, Kalervo would not only go on to become an all time legend; but would also be instrumental in Billy’s growth as a human and as a manager. From that day forward Billy and Kalervo were inseparable and unstoppable. Kalervo quickly amassed a professional record of 11-2 and became known as a top prospect. By then, he was signed to the well respected (now defunct) Trinity Fighting Organization. He earned a title shot after a spectacular KO against Robert Mazzuca at T121. From there, he won the Trinity Middleweight Belt, lost it, won it back, then defended it 4 straight times. At this point Kalervo was no longer under the radar. Synchronicity, the biggest fight organization in the world came calling, and Kalervo answered. It took Kalervo 15 fights to get a title shot. He won some of those 15 fights and lost some, but he got better every fight and soon became one of the baddest men on the face of the earth. A tribute to his determination. That same determination that he would show years later at Syn 549 in a title defense where he pulled off an amazing 4th round kneebar in a fight many thought he could be losing on the cards. Kalervo first won the Synchronicity Middleweight Championship Belt at Syn 540 Vociferous in a brutal 5 round slugfest against Wilder Wein. Kalervo would be a very active champion and defend his belt 3 times. As a champion he became a sensation. At one point ranked #1P4P fighter in the world. All the while his reputation as a humanitarian and a spiritual guru grew as well. Kalervo truly became larger than life. Celebrities, politicians and professional athletes alike praised him for his mindset and his teachings. He opened youth academies that focus on spirituality and martial arts all over the world. Though eventually Kalervo lost his belt and his P4P title, his determination did not stop and continued to fight well into his 40’s. Every fight he had, title shot or not was must see. He even earned a late career title shot at the age of 46 and went 5 rounds with then middleweight champ Russell Tyrone Jones. Kalervo lost by a very close decision. Russel and Kalervo have grown a unique respect for each other. As they fought 4 times, all of these fights with the Synchronicity MiddleWeight Championship Belt on the line. Traditionally these two should hate each other, but it's quite the opposite. They both have immense respect for the stress and trials a professional MMA fighter faces on a daily basis. When they fought for that last time, it truly was a special moment. Both fighters near the end of their illustrious careers, but both still lethal and elite. The whole crowd standing going crazy, cheering the two legends on as they both threw punches up until the final bell. Nowadays Kalervo has a full plate. He runs his youth academies, is a loving husband and father of 14 children. As a practitioner of all religions (except scientology) he is quite busy with religious activities and various community events. He is also a known vigilante and will quickly help out in any altercation he may witness. He is linked to various attacks on Tom Cruise and other well known Scientologists but no hard evidence has ever been found and no charges have ever been held up in a court of law. Many are hoping Kalervo will grow political aspirations and consider running for president. When asked about his career, Kalevero said “I am doing what I believe is right. Fighting has given me a platform to help a lot of people. I love martial arts and helping people. I want to thank all the gods for helping me become the person I am today”. Great words from a great man, Kalevro’s legacy is now etched into the granite walls of Synchrosnity’s all time greats.
  13. Looks to be a great night of fights; I am leaning towards Chomsli in the main. Hopefully he will defend his HFC Belt as well if he wins #doublechamp?
