  1. Hey everyone, Martin O’Neill here bringing you a preview of M M A Event 13. Big action coming from Kings Theatre in Los Angeles, we have 2 Championships on the line tonight headlining a night of great action brought to you as only M M A can. 155: Joliver Genetia (3-0-0) v Omar Little (3-2-0) The first fight of the evening pits Joliver Genetia taking on well rounded Omar Little in the lightweight division. Undefeated thus far in his career Joliver Genetia, a strong wrestler and BJJ Purple Belt Joliver Genetia is really making a name for himself in M M A winning two fights by brutal TKO nature. Tonight he faces submission fighter Omar Little whom will be looking to take this fight to the mat as soon as possible in order to neutralise Genetia’s fierce stand up game. In order for Omar Little to avoid being another name on Genetia’s record he will really have to take this to the ground and test Genetia like nobody else has. However if he can’t do this look for outstanding striker Genetia to take this one and inch closer to that illusive title shot. 170: Uli “Peluza” Yeo (4-3-0) v Everth Gonzalez (4-2-0) In the Welterweight division Mexican Uli Yeo takes on Nicaraguan Everth Gonzalez here as both fighters attempt to get back into winning ways after losses last time out. Muay Thai striker “Peluza” Yeo lost in a title bout to Demian Kang and will be looking to recover here to get back into contention at the expense of wrestler Everth Gonzalez. Despite having a Muay Thai base the majority of Yeo’s wins have come via submission so look for him to welcome a takedown from Gonzalez in this bout. Gonzalez will have a point to prove here having lost in his M M A debut last time out. So who will take this one? It will be interesting to see what tactics both fighters employ; will Gonzalez go to ground confidently knowing how able Yeo is with his BJJ? 170: “Smokin’” Torsti Monivamma (6-4-0) v Frank “The Crazy Canadian” Cote (8-5-0) On a 4 fight lose streak, “Smokin’” is no longer. This strong boxer and Brown Belt in BJJ has completely fallen off the horse recently having gone an incredible 6 undefeated before that and formerly being the now defunct Helsinki based company Helsinki Fight Club welterweight champion. It seems this man despite having all the talent in the world hasn’t got used to action in the United States just yet. In his way tonight is Frank Cote, a respectable boxer and BJJ Purple belt. On paper this would usually be a win for the Fin Monivamma but an unexplained lose streak like that means something must be wrong. It is a huge fight for Torsti Monivamma, not only is he up against Cote, it seems he is up against himself as well. Don’t expect “The Crazy Canadian” to have any sympathy for his plight and he’ll come out swinging early on to test his resolve I am sure. I’m intrigued to see which way this one goes and if Monivamma has got his act together. 155: Peter “Spiderman” Parker (5-2-0) v Felix “Felicis” Pomfrey (9-6-0) On a two fight win streak “Felicis” Pomfrey will be looking to extend this run against wrestler and BJJ fighter Peter “Spiderman” Parker. Who in his last bout found himself submitted by BJ Penn for the lightweight title and could be suffering from a hangover of this. Talented all rounder “Felicis” has highlighted competent boxing and wrestling in his career thus far and carved out 5 submission wins to boot. This means Peter Parker should be very aware of the danger he is about to face when stepping into the cage with Felix Pomfrey. “Spiderman” is almost exclusively a ground fighter so expect him to try and get the fight there immediately. I would anticipate a war of attrition between these two fighters as they both will look to test each other’s grappling skills and could be decided by the smallest detail. 155: Damien “Dominating” Demented (13-8-1) v Ken “The L.A.” Hitman (6-1-0) Two very experienced men match up now in lightweight battle, with the Brit Ken Hitman taking on “Dominating” Demented from Burkina Faso. Both fighters lost last time out so this match takes on particular significance for the combatants now. Are they happy to languish in the mid section of this division or have they the heart and desire to get back into the mix at 155? Damien Demented has long had all the talent in the world to go places, a very effective striker with a Purple Belt grade in BJJ he certainly can cause anybody problems on his day and will be looking to avoid going to ground against submission specialist BJJ Brown Belt “The L.A.” Hitman. The key to this fight is if Ken Hitman can get the fight to the ground, Demented will know he can pick Hitman apart in the stand up so if he can avoid Ken Hitman pulling guard expect him to take this one. 265: Didier Drogba (4-0-0) v Victor Creed (5-1-0) This fight could be the spark that lights the bonfire as someone can expect to get Knocked Out in the Heavyweight Division as Ivorian Didier Drogba takes on Brazilian Victor Creed in a bout which has action all over it. Primarily a Muay Thai striker, Drogba has used those head kicks to move to 4-0 in his career all via first round wins. Drogba is a powerhouse and it will be interesting to see what tactic Victory Creed opts to try and counter this. I would assume that Victor Creed will try and go back to his wrestling base and try and test Drogba on the ground. Nobody has been successful thus far with this tactic but it certainly is a step up for Drogba. I’m fascinated as to how this one will pan out, and should Drogba claim another stunning first round win I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him fight for gold soon after. Victory Creed will be no push over however as he looks to avenge his TKO loss last time out to Randy Lesnar. 265+: “Sasquatch” Bjorn Bjorgensen (6-1-0) v Alucar “Sprawl N’ Brawl” Aroman (8-3-0) Having won his last 6 fights courtesy of his Wonderful boxing Alucar Aroman is certainly the favourite for this bout in my eyes. This man is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous strikers in the sport with a shopping list of KO wins with all bar 1 coming in round 1. This fight is highly likely to be ended quickly as his opponent “Sasquatch” Bjorgensen is also a boxer, but not quite on Aroman’s level. This could come down to who’s chin will betray them, with Aroman having been knocked out before, albeit via a head kick will this play on his mind? Bjorgensen on the other hand will be quite confident as his good chin is well known. Expect a stand up war here and I’ll not be missing this one, a superb fight in prospect and those of you blood thirsty will probably be indulged here. 185: Steve “Solaris” McQueen (9-3-0) v Tommy “Solid” Rock (7-0-0) Quickly becoming the prototype for the perfect all around fighter undefeated Tommy “Rock” Solid has won all 7 of the bouts in his career. Primarily a boxer, 5 of his fights have been ended by the power in his fists and make no mistake about it. This man is one knockout away from fighting for middleweight gold. This 21 year old American is certainly the real deal and has rarely been taken over the first round thus far in his already illustrious career. In his way tonight is the equally exciting and aggressive Steve “Solaris” McQueen. Never in a dull fight. McQueen has either knocked out, or been knocked out in all his fights to date. Make no mistake about it folks when these two get in the cage the energy levels in the crowd are going to rise dramatically as this one has fight of the night all over it. A remarkable boxer and proficient wrestler McQueen will certainly give Tommy “Rock” Solid some serious problems during the course of this bout but will he have enough in his locker to beat “Solid” Rock? I would suggest not and expect Tommy Rock to continue undefeated and notch another impressive scalp on that CV of his. But the only thing certain about this bout is, the fans would pay in just to watch this fight alone. 265+ Co-Main event of the Evening and 5 rounds for the Super Heavyweight Title, Brock Lesnar (6-0-0) v Iiro “Tollo” Tolonen (7-1-0) Finnish Challenger “Tollo” Tolonen lost the very first fight of his career. But we can forgive him for that as he hasn’t been beat since. In 7 to be precise, and this brings him face to face with Champion Brock Lesnar tonight at the Kings Theatre. The former champion at Super Heavyweight in Nordic Fighting Championship, Superb boxer and Strong Wrestler Iiro Tolonen is a huge challenge for Brock Lesnar as shown by the fact this man has never went over round 1 in any fight to date. Imperiously strong indeed, “Tollo” has never seen the 2 minute mark in the 1st round, in any fight as he carves a huge reputation for himself in M M A already. Undefeated in his career to date the Champion Brock Lesnar is a wonderful wrestler with Proficient boxing. Make no doubt about this, he’ll not want to stand with Iiro Tolonen despite being as tough as nails Lesnar will know his best chance is to take this fight to the ground and finish “Tollo” from there. The big question here is will “Tollo” Tolonen catch Lesnar before Lesnar completes the take down? If he happens to do this we could well be seeing a new champions as it seems anything Iiro Tolonen hits, he destroys. It promises to be a fascinating encounter and make no mistake about it. Both fighters here are in for the fight of their lives. Neither man will fear the other but they sure as hell will respect the other’s abilities. It could be one of the only times coming into a fight I’ve ever witnessed that the challenger comes in possibly more feared than the title holder himself but how will this fight unfold? We’ll find out soon enough and this one could be over before we have time to sit down. 265: Main Event of the Evening, 5 rounds for the Heavyweight Title, “Buff” Biff Buphalicious (8-4-0) v Randy “The Smashing Machine” Lesnar (8-2-0) A hugely impressive first round stoppage of Victor Creed last time out has earned “The Smashing Machine” this title shot tonight. A wonderful wrestler and competent boxer Randy Lesnar certainly has all the talent in order to be champion at Heavyweight in M M A. A powerful brawler Lesnar will be looking to take this to the ground. Biff Buphalicious is simply no match for him in a pure wrestling match and will most likely be taken down by Randy Lesnar in this bout. This will be the key to victory for “The Smashing Machine” in this bout, don’t look for him to stand and trade, he’ll shoot in and look to simply dominate “Buff” and that will be up to the champion to stop this as everyone knows this is a weak link in his game that could be brutally exposed by a wrestler of Lesnar’s calibre. “Buff” Buphalicious is the champion however by merit, he won it by beating a man indeed that “The Smashing Machine” could not, in Two Hearted. With a Strong Muay Thai base “Buff” will be confident in standing with anyone, and watch out for his nasty clinch. But it remains to be seen if he will be able to do anything when this fight goes to ground. We must assume it will. I have heard Biff Buphalicious has been working on Jiu Jitsu coming into this bout. Already Blue grade in BJJ he won’t be afraid of going to ground as his BJJ will offer him some form of base for attack from here. But you have to assume his best chance of victory is in the stand up especially with those Brutal Head Kicks of his. Look for him to use his speed in order to get a few of those on target and let me tell you they have laser accuracy. “Buff” will know he is one kick away from ending this bout. But he’ll also know he cannot do that from his back. It will be a real test and an intriguing situation should Randy Lesnar succeed in taking this to the mat of “Buff” Biff Buphalicious’ renowned determination. Ladies and Gentlemen M M A are treating us with this card and there are some fights on here tonight that I have a feeling will go down in folklore.

  4. Hello fight fans it's your favorite reporter Robb Smith back once again to bring you the biggest news in Mixed Martial Arts and today I am very excited to make a few announcements for one of the biggest fight promotions in the world MMA out of LA,California. MMA has two huge announcements so we will start with the fact that today everyone at MMA is pleased to announce that the company has signed SISU 135 pound Champion Sub Hero. Hero since winning the SISU Championship has won five straight Title defenses and has said that he is looking for a challenge now that he is signed with MMA. MMA owner and Matchmaker have both said they are waiting to see who steps up before just throwing Sub in to fight anyone. Folks in case you have been living under a rock you will realize that this signing is very big for everyone involved including you the fight fans. The next announcement coming from MMA has been that they finally put together a fight between the newly signed Barack Lesnar and Aleksi Borga. Lesnar is a former Champion for Syn in Las Vegas and is also a top ranked pound for pound fighter in the world. Borga is no slouch himself though and when you look at his record and the men he has fought that is not hard to tell. Borga is 7-0 thus far in his pro career and he has held the VFC Title before moving on to greener pastures. This fight is the classic stand up battle that the fans love to see. Both men come in with very strong boxing and muay thai skills and both also come in with really good mat skills. This fight could go to either man and one thing is or sure the winner will be a definite number one contender for the title. MMA in LA is making the moves that all other company's dream of making and believe me that in the future you will see nothing but fireworks from this promotion. If you have a fighter that deserves to be with the best promotion in the world and deserves to be paid like and treated like a top fighter then MMA should be your home. MMA does what others dream of fight fans and today proves just that. Stay tuned to MMA for more huge announcements very soon.

  12. Martin O’Neill here bringing you a preview of M M A $100,000 Challenge, coming to you from Venice Beach, Los Angeles. This event promises to be huge; our main event tonight pits “The Mad Sushi Chef” Shiroi Neko against the undefeated champion, Tha “Brian Baumgardner Fan” Man for the right to call themselves Middleweight Champion of the World. The Co Main event features Helsinki Fight Club Heavyweight Champion Hannibal Barca make his debut in American MMA against Piotr “Colossus” Rasputin in a fight which will draw attention from all corners of the globe. A huge card tonight, also – 135: Leo “Shark Bite” Snow (3-1-0) v “The Tretowmaniac” Denis Tretow (4-4-0) Twenty Two year old American Leo Snow will make his debut tonight in M M A. Holding a current streak of 2 wins this BJJ Blue Belt will look to make a name for himself now he has finally arrived in the big time. This represents his biggest test as of yet however in the form of “The Tretowmaniac” who himself is currently on a 2 win streak. Whose form will hold up here? Keys to victory for debutant Snow are the exploiting of his superior wrestling against Tretow. He’ll look to bring this one to the ground as the German Tretow will be vastly superior and much more dangerous in the stand up portion. Both in previous fights have made grinding out decision victories their fortes so don’t be surprised if this one too goes the distance. 135: “Lolth” Spider Queen (6-2-0) v Buff Bagwell (6-5-0) Twenty Three year old Filipino Buff Bagwell with good striking and a Brown Belt in BJJ would normally be considered the favourite for most fights in this division. But when his opponent tonight steps into the cage Bagwell will know he’s in a fight. Burmese BJJ Black Belt “Lolth”, despite being just Nineteen is vastly experienced and Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championship Champion will be a vast favourite and rightly so. This man is very dangerous, and take into consideration his pride is bound to be hurt after his loss via submission last time out, he’ll be really motivated to put on a good show I believe. It is destined this fight should end up on the ground. Who’ll be the better man when these two meet? We’ll soon find out, great matchup and one I’m very interested in to see as who will prevail. 135: Rmarkus “The Warrior” Fletcher (4-2-0) v Zach “The Maniac” Wolff (5-1-0) “The Warrior” Fletcher is primarily a ground expert, having respectable wrestling and a BJJ Brown Belt to his name and further reinforced by all his four wins coming by way of submission his game plan will be quite obvious, get “The Maniac” down where he will be seemingly less dangerous to Fletcher. Wolff the American boxer is on a two fight win streak and won’t just let Fletcher walk over him. He possesses good hands and has the trouble to get to his opponents chin as he is very intelligent about his striking. Rmarkus Fletcher should also beware, Zach Wolff started his professional career with an Arm bar submission victory so it is no formality that if, or when it goes to the ground that will be the end of the night for Wolff. 265+: El Taquito “En Los” Pantalones (7-4-0) v “Sir” William Wallace (7-2-0) Mexican Pantalones is an extremely well rounded Mixed Martial Artist, coming off a loss last time out to Brock Lesnar he will be hoping to get back into title contention here with a win over the Scotsman William Wallace. With Remarkable Boxing and Respectable Muay Thai this striker has all the tools to give any opponent a headache, literally. He strikes with great power and accuracy and will be considered favourite here I would suggest. William Wallace too has the dubious honour of having a defeat to his name by Brock Lesnar but he also has quite a few tools of his own. This wrestler and BJJ Purple Belt is as troublesome on his feet as the ground, his record showing the majority of his wins via strikes. These two powerhouses will collide in an attempt to force their way into the Super-Heavyweight title mix, a big victory here would certainly do neither any harm. 170: “The Wonderkid” Zacharia Steele (5-2-0) v Joe “Microbe” Garelli (5-0-0) Undefeated BJJ Brown Belt Garelli now has five submission victories in his career and is certainly taking a step up in class here as he faces “The Wonderkid” Steele in the Welterweight Division. The American Steele with a Boxing and Muay Thai striking base will be full of confidence having disposed of his last two opponents in typically brutal fashion. If “Microbe” doesn’t clinch up and get him down as quick as he can it will only be a matter of time before he is picked off by Steele as he simply hasn’t shown anything that suggests he could trade with “The Wonderkid”. Watch out for his knees especially, they are ferocious and provided the victory in his last bout over David Tidwell. 170: Pekko “Brownie” Persvako (6-1-0) v “The Fin Hunter” Jay Mitchell (8-6-0) The remarkable wrestling base of Persvako will surely provide the platform for “Brownie’s” path to victory. His style is a simple ground and submit, he prefers this to strikes whilst on the floor. Although he tasted defeat last time out he is a major force in this division having gone six undefeated before now. “The Fin Hunter” certainly has one of the more colourful nicknames in Mixed Martial Arts but don’t let that delude you. Eight Submission wins, good boxing combined with Knock out Power means he is the real deal. Expect two fighters to come to the cage here and put on a war for us. This card being stacked with Welterweight bouts should only provide the fighters with a real motive to go out and put on a show. M M A has a talent saturated Welterweight Division but outshining the rest of the competition on the same card en route to victory would elevate either of these fighters into serious contention. 170: Marshall “No one is above the” Law (9-6-0) v Jebidah Knepp (5-0-0) Chinese National Martial Law is on a bad run of form at the moment, not only has he lost his last two fights, his last four losses have shown the rest of the world a fatal flaw, he cannot take a strike. His last four losses have been to strikes so look for him to negate this statistic with his Remarkable Wrestling which will be a huge factor in this fight if he can take advantage of Knepp’s inadequacy in this area. Jebidah Knepp although no match for Law in the grappling stakes, don’t expect him to have any fear of this situation. He holds five, round one, submission victories and leaves Martial Law in the awkward position of being maybe afraid to use his strength for fear of him being caught then in Knepp’s trap. If the fight stays standing Martial Law has the talent to take the fight, but he and everyone watching will be wary of what has happened during the course of his last four defeats. 170: Mikio “Flame 666” Okita (8-4-0) v “Lucky” Mickey McCarthy (6-1-0) The former pound for pound best fighter in the world Mikio Okita is attempting to regain some of his old form here again Irishman Mickey McCarthy. Both men hold BJJ Purple Belt grades so expect this fact to perhaps cause an alteration in their otherwise normal fight tactics. Okita is on a two lose streak at the moment and in his way will be his polar opposite. McCarthy is on a three win streak and will not be lacking any confidence despite the greater name of his opponent. McCarthy will hold the advantage whilst this fight is standing, however “Flame 666” is much too astute a fighter to play a game that doesn’t suite him, look for him to take this to the ground and utilise those devastating submissions. “Lucky” McCarthy’s only loss was to a submission, Okita will know this and the Japanese Born naturalised American will surely test if his grappling defence has been given a tune up since then. 265: Piotr “Colossus” Rasputin (8-1-0) v Hannibal Barca (7-2-1) M M A’s co main event of the evening brings us a huge matchup; Helsinki Fight Club Heavyweight Champion of the World, Hannibal Barca makes his American Debut in a fight anticipated all over the world. “Colossus” Rasputin, a superb boxer and strong wrestler with a Blue Belt in BJJ is a true Mixed Martial Artist. He was on an incredible eight fight win streak until last time out when he lost to a submission. Rasputin will be looking to put that right with the huge potential scalp of the best heavyweight Scandinavia has to offer. Barca a strong boxer and wrestler uses a brawl and sprawl style with has culminated in seven Knock out wins to his record, he won the HFC 265 Title after just 18 seconds via punches which truly marks this man’s danger and utter violence. Not to be outdone “Colossus” got his nickname due to his Big Right Hand, if he lands that we could have a huge upset on our hands here. These two fighters have won all their respective battles due to TKO or KO. Our Co Main event promises someone to get knocked out. Whose chin will betray them? We will find out here as these strikers face off in a bout everyone will want to see. This is the definition of a fight for the fans and I cannot wait for this to get underway. 185: Middleweight Title Bout, “The Mad Sushi Chef” Shiroi Neko (6-1-0) v Tha “Brain Baumgardner Fan” Man (7-0-0) Twenty-Three year old Japanese BJJ Purple Belt Grappler Shiroi Neko challenges Tha Man here for his Middleweight Championship in 5 rounds of huge M M A action. Neko although he has quite cumbersome boxing, he also has heavy hands. His average technique does not take away from the absolute physicality of his hits. He will be the biggest challenge yet to the undefeated champion. It’s Neko’s intelligence and methodical decimation of his opponents which has been as impressive as he has beaten five of his six opponents to date in the first round. So we know he’s explosive, as too will New Zealand National Tha Man. This all round thoroughbred uses his wrestling base to pressure his opponents into making uncharacteristic mistakes. Spectators are divided here he can outsmart and outmuscle Neko like he has done so many others. But one thing is for sure, if Neko gives him one opportunity Tha Man will swarm. The majority of his wins have been violent KO’s. Head kicks, Knees are all in his arsenal as he possesses some of the very best Muay Thai in Mixed Martial Arts. I’ve no idea how this fight will go, however what I do know is this, get down to Venice Beach this New Year’s Day. It’s going to be explosive! M M A with another huge event featuring the premiere fighters in the California Area.
