Maximus is a hybrid 400k+ org. The 135, 155, 185, and 265 divisions are for grappling only and will be booked on specific grappling events. The 145, 170, 205, 265+ will be KT divisions for KT events. This will mean that some weight classes will have fighters who are "undersized" for the division. Such as if a 155lb striker wanted to join, he would either have to be able to make weight at 145, or he will be placed in the 170 division. He will not be penalized for being under weight so long as he's not able to make weight at the lower weight class. However, if a fighter is 155lbs walking and can cut to 144, they will be entered into the 145 W/C unless they bulk up. Same rules will apply with grappling divisions. Events will alternate each other with a KT event one week, and a grappling event the next. While I do hope to keep this org running for a while as either KT, Grappling, or preferably both, the primary function of the org as a start up is for all 400k+ fighters to have a place to fight, earn a little money as needed so they can focus on training. Fighters will determine their own inactivity between fights so they can focus on training and not worry about losing out on that valuable training speed in the early years.
