  1. hey gang, already introduced myself 8 years ago but wanted to letcha's in on a nice song i just put on youtube i'd be thrilled to get some feedback on and didn't see any more appropriate folders than this to do so. so let me introduce you to 'Another Forest Says Farewell'. i'm super proud of it and believe most every music fan hearing it will receive some riches in return. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEcJyRPJ8rk if you can log in there and send me a Like, it would be greatly appreciated... unless you hate, of course.
  2. upping the max bet at A Good Cause from 5 to 10k starting with UFC 196 Mick vs Chollo and unlike our feeble competitors, offering odds on all Main card bouts. we still have the lowest bookmaker stake in town after all these years (5%) and the best news of all is, you get Cause's gut instinct here- not a replication of Vegas best prognosticators so a local cheeseball can save up for his first airplane. we do it for the challenge, not the money. Montreal's longest running bookmaker will always be there for your UFC wagers, get at 'em via link below, best of luck and thank you for your patronage over the years- http://mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=7380
  3. it's blatantly apparent too much of Hilton's income's being siphoned off by his tailor and beautician while selling the publicist short; what he meant to say was "the next Champ, Sven Hensen". 'nuff said.
  4. haha, since i first signed on here however many years ago it's always been my goal to win twice as many fights as i lose and just noticed we're bang on that number until a bout in St Pete's shortly (unless it's another draw). currently working my way out of a "can't buy a win" funk and touching wood we can start winning in more impressive fashion. on a farewell sidenote~ Go, Raptors!
  5. just hit me after dropping in on this thread that i'm likely the only dupe who created an 18 yr old on the Island. god help Malcolm Mitchell.
  6. tonight i was responsible for 2 NC's with the org i co-manage, Aggressive Damage, Montreal. the only other time i've bottomed out like this was the only other time i brain cramped a NC. if my foggy memory serves, that was with the old IMMA org and Mega was a lot easier on me than i'm being. same deal both times; flew my fighters out of town before the opening bell rang. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.
  7. you've always fit the description since i've had fighters in your org so LoHoo would welcome your allegience. we don't want to oversaturate participation from same city org's but most can support two, especially when they're not in direct competition in terms of WW ranking.
  8. thanks pardner, we couldn't have done it w/o that link you provided- i'll put stuff off until there's a reason not to and then get right on it.
  9. the tag speaks volumes on what this new alliance is about, that and helping each other with last minute fill-ins for incomplete events and sharing do's and dont's on setting them up. ideally we'll have a top 3 org in each city represented in the alliance with everyone involved benefitting greatly from their participation- not to mention we'll grow the game by extension. open to org owners and staff who've demonstrated a history of doing things the right way, pls apply within. http://mmatycoon.com/alliancepublic.php?ali_id=1030 ===---===
  10. i'll back a 159Q energy sup and lesser levels for the other, less in-demand items. we can split the profits with zero financial requirements or risk to you. pls send an in-game pm if interested and we'll work it out.
  11. in a nutshell, i've had two bottom feeders hooked up long-term with Ascension and Luan's made us feel like royalty.
  12. in terms of fighter relationships with their orgs, Luan's one of the best ppl i've ever dealt with here. since most have been good/great, it tells you how highly he's regarded on this end..
  13. just found mike's link on another thread: http://www.mmatycoon.info/index.php?title=Tycoon_World_Grappling_Championships#Sliders
  14. thought there'd be a c/p of the fight rules on the org page by now, can't find anything in this thread so far and have 12 pages to go. can anyone nutshell them for me? no stahdihg or ground strikes is my main question, strictly submissions i'm assuming..
  15. from Aggressive Damage, Montreal's perspective, Chris Partridge, Gale Hawthorne, Kyle Pearce, Daniel Moreira, Silver Blunt and Pawel Ufcowski have all earned shout outs for being fantastic managers/good people and are a big reason we're a top 20 org today. there's a great number of others who've aided and abetted our gradual rise up the charts, they'll have to forgive the ommission since time's a more precious commodity than pats on the back. oh, and Lonny Bohonos phone home! we've missed you dearly.
  16. if it's possible to reserve a spot for managers who pledge one of their prospective fighters, i'll enter either: Rodney Ang http://mmatycoon.com...r.php?FID=50993 or Leandro Alves http://mmatycoon.com...r.php?FID=89296 based on who makes the most sense when the deadline approaches. i will have to secure releases for them but am on good terms with both org owners and don't foresee that being an issue.
  17. at time of writing we're offering pick 'em type odds on the majority of the fights slated for our Event of the Year (at least so far) AD144: Highway to Belle. this card is gonna be crazier than Crazylegz so we encourage all to get their bets down on every fight then soak up your winnings as you work through the commentary tomorrow night. we also provide the occasional UFC line for a change of pace but the only certainties are odds for every Aggressive Damage card. check us out/make some cash- http://mmatycoon.com...ic.php?bid=7380 --------
  18. the biggest mistake i made was rushing my undertrained fighters into established orgs for fear i was going to go broke. in hindsight, i could've muddled through the financials of supporting them and developed fighters who were ready to win, instead of play the punching bag.
  19. Fighters Confirmed: 1. Rodney "Boomer" Ang, 197 lbs #50993 2. Hades "The Silent Power" Hug, 285 lbs #105748
  20. two thumbs up on the nice work, bruvah.
  21. i believe the best permafix would be factor a fighter's strength in a given skill his ablity to defend it. so if your knees/elbows are useless and your opponent's are remarkable, your guy's gonna get his ribs/face caved in once it moves into the clinch, regardless of how good his striking defence is. or submitted/GnP'd should it hit the mat, whichever you've neglected most.
  22. ' i believe they will benefit by learning transitions/escapes much quicker than their ageing brethren.
  23. healthy thread for org owners to frequent, hats off to the initiative. shame i didn't have more time on my hands to stay up on these names trom the Hall of Shame to add to Aggressive Damage's "avoid at all costs" list.
  24. pretty sure ppl aren't taking into account that the same thing is happening to their opponents, so the playing field will essentially stay level with existing vets while newer fighters become more competitive. especially once those warhorses start the dreaded decline. what i've been trying to find is a concise,. wiki-type explanation on the benefits of escape/transitions before i put the edit to my fighter's skill points. any help?
