  1. Well personally I prefer to get the most out of my training week before a Saturday/Sunday fight rather than have it on a Wednesday and have my week broken up.

    Clinching

I don't think so but you'll be fine. Most people will overlook it.
  3. Oh man how generous, you're going to open up the coaches to 265 people. I'm sure they'll get some fantastic training done in the 25-30 fighter sessions (basing that on an equal split of the membership to each coach). But don't worry, I heard Mike is looking to reduce the gap between those and 1on1 sessions soon.
  4. Despite your "noble" intentions if that story is even legitimate, it seems like it's a pretty poor way to get your "friends" into the game by making them, A: Train part time in order to pay for the ridiculous costs of what's being offered, B: Be limited to only sparring in two disciplines and training with equipment (again to the tune of $200 a week), and C: Severely limiting their fighters again by forcing them to train part time ; ie only get half the amount of sessions that they could be getting in a $20-40 gym that there is a multitude of in any city in which they could get everything that you're offering and more (full time training). Again while you may think this is noble, you're essentially taking advantage of your friends limited experience with the game in order to give yourself 11 (or however many of the coaches you own) elite coaches and completely breaking even on the gym due to the ridiculous cost:effect ratio of your gym.
  5. It's always nice to have a decent amount of tdd as a bjj guy in order to stuff at least a few takedowns which will help gas the opponent. Obviously this varies from person to person but I prefer to keep the fight standing against a fellow bjj guy until I want it to be on the ground (with a takedown of my own), and to do that you need some sort of tdd. You definetely don't want to allow some beastly wrestler with nasty gnp to be able to get on top of you at will no matter how confident you are in being able to sweep him/avoid damage.
  6. We were discussing it on chat last night and he figured this was the best way to reveal the very suspicious gym. Clearly if he was involved he wouldn't be so stupid as to link it in this thread.
  7. In regards to that rent a coach comment you always have the option of opening your own rent a coach gym, filling it gradually with about 10 coaches for other people (should at the very least break even on the coaching fees) and then use the actual fighter fees that you'll get every week, to essentially break even on two of your own coaches in the gym indefinetely as long as you always have 9-10 people with coaches in the gym. Probably one of the easiest and riskless ways about getting 1on1 training for at least a few of your guys. Also a good way to earn some extra income through any tips that might come your way from your customers.
  8. Well that's just depressing :-( . http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=58545 which was another ex fighter of mine always makes me sad due to the fact that his face may be the softest material known to man. Has never been ko'd or tko'd, only finished via tko (cut).
  9. Not a current fighter but one I cut a while back that's still kicking. http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=53819 , had great ko power, was a very good learner and had/has some great skills but he just has an uncanny ability to get brutally knocked out.
  10. Hoping for big things from http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=85133 Granite chin, solid power, better secondaries than primaries. Sadly I took a loss on him when his ground game was pretty mediocre but that hole has been filled.
  11. Would have to be http://mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=216215 . Was the first title shot for Buff against an incredibly tough guy in Shane Falco and to dominate him the way I did, set off a great streak of wins that sadly has been erased but it was definetely the best moment I've had in this game.
  12. MT/Boxing Coach is no longer avaliable but I currently have a triple elite clinch coach up for grabs. Buying te pre-existing coach saves you $14.5k on the signing fee.
  13. Alright well when you're done ducking any actual competition and want to push towards that elusive 10 total fights number let me know.
  14. If Mr. Felipe is as good as you claim he is then you shouldn't have an issue being challenged.
  15. Don't make 25 year olds personally but still think this is a tremendously well written guide which should definitely be stickied and newer people should be directed to it in the future.
  16. You could always go to the event discussion-> event commentary page and refresh it at roughly 6:06 city time. Best and quickest way to do it. As long as you don't look at your other pages before you refresh the commentary you'll be good to go.
  17. For some odd reason I have a feeling that if you had more than 5 fights your undefeated streak may be broken. I'd gladly volunteer to be the guy to do it.
  18. Full elite standup secondaries/rounding out his ground game/physicals. Still has plenty of places to go.
  19. He's only 23. Don't see the "pack" catching up any time soon.
  20. He can hit hard but apparently he can't take a punch very well
  21. I see it as more of a setback than a derailment. Fetts still a beast and he'll do good things. Asking anyone to fight a guy like Sunny Disposition in their first fight in the big leagues is a hell of a thing to ask. Good luck in your next fight Gable.
  22. Well since it doesn't show the entire decimal number of your skills it could have been a pop from 139.45 (rounds up to a visible 139.5) to 139.54 (stays at a visible 139.5). Only explanation I can think of.
  23. Someone needs to put together a tourney between Nuunker and MirkoAliTyson. Loser leaves the forums. Hell the winner can leave too. I just want to see it.
