  1. So, I don't know if this is an error or what. I have/had a manager to manager loan I've been paying back. Not last Thursday, but the Thursday before that I paid my loan and had $1 remaining on my loan. The following week I had like $1K in my bank and defaulted on my loan... This tonight I checked it and it shows my balance owed is at -$1450 or something like that. Why should I pay more than the loan amount is set up for and why is it still showing up on my loans page???? I want my 1450 back!
  2. I was curious: has the idea been brought up about a basing the refund amount on number of fights done...for example I sign a fighter to 4000 signing bonus for 4 fights; Now, if he doesn't fight and goes FA and then retires you can get all the bonus back. However, even if he fights 1 fight you get nothing back. Why not divide that up by the total number of fights for the contract. So, if you do 4K signing bonus for 4 fights and he does 1 fight goes FA and retires you get back $3K of the signing bonus. Basically the signing bonus is given in assumption the fighter finishes his contract, if he doesn't you shouldn't be penalized. This would help smaller orgs that have more need for money. A few thousand dollars can be a lot for smaller orgs. Just curious
  3. I think you are right on the edge of that 7 and 8 days mark; remember the stuff is based on the GMT time.
  4. So, a manager had posted regarding the findings of a gym with 13 coaches. Then the topic disappears. But, I feel that explanation of the big 13 is deserved. Is this a glitch that we are seeing? I mean, this is a private gym used for 1 on 1 and 1 on 2 training...so to see that and then a thread be deleted questioning it only raises more suspicion...........Hopefully I don't get myself in trouble, but I would like to know if this is an option we can use and haven't been informed about or what.

    13 Coaches?

Yeah, whats the deal with this?
  6. As mentioned having a big bank roll is very very helpful when signing new fighters, But I started a fight org from scratch with a little over 100K, so it is manageable, you just have to be smart on your spending and don't over do it. Make sure to start in the 400 micro arenas for a few events until you start getting a feel for things and making some hype. I recently went off track from the typical ways of putting on events and didn't really focus on my hype ratings, but rather the fighters in my org. I wanted to make sure they were getting enough fights, so I started putting on a larger amount of them with fewer fights so they could fight more often. Anyway, I think that having the right connections and friends is one of the biggest things you can have, even over money. If you have friends that will let you "barrow" a fighter of theirs that has like 100+ hype/pop rating and do it for like a 1 fight 1/1/1 deal to help you would be a lucky man. As mentioned focus your attentions on the 0-0 fighters...I think a lot of the bigger orgs don't even bother with these guys as they need fighters with hype/pop to fill larger arenas. Also, for a just starting out org I think you would be wise to throw some offers to fighters that have 0-1,0-2,0-5 records....Yes there is risk they will go inactive or FA, but if you land them for a 500/500/500 and get just 1 fight out of them it's worth it for filling an event.
  7. Well I don't know whats more important, 500 week sales mark or fixing the nutrition system??? I don't know decrease the 500 week mark to 350 or something. Sometimes you got to break one thing to fix another....It's just a matter of if it's important enough to do.
  8. I know what I'm about to say has a lot of components, but it might be a great solution....and I don't believe anyone has suggested it. 1. Decrease the duration supps last (5 days might be ideal) 2. Increases the max selling cost 3. Decrease the the monthly order limit from 2500 to maybe 1500 With those alone, eventually companies will have to stop under cutting each other or they could go broke. If they can't order as much stock month to month, and they are selling out faster and faster at $75 a month and find themselves making less and less profit, eventually they'll have to raise the cost of supply to make more profit. All companies will eventually have to do this. There is a 4th option and that is to allow increase in supplement quality research. You know that managers who can afford it will gladly pay for 165 quality if it were there. If a company can research it, then they would have to competitively price it to make sure they don't go out of business and not undercut the price of it to get people buying their 165 instead of someone else 160. Fact of the matter is: A manager with 4 fighters who's been in the game for a month shouldn't be able to afford 160 or higher supplements until they are more established and the money. Right now, pretty much anyone can buy 160 supplements. Increase the quality maximum+increase the selling price maximum+decreasing the duration+decreasing the monthly order limit= bringing back the demand for the 150 supplements and increasing the cost for higher supplements like 159,160 and potentially higher. This is in my eyes of course.
  9. what are you talking about, you don't even own a fight org.
  10. I agree; that's why I think Helsinki could strongly benefit from 1500 and 2500 arena's. There are a number of fight orgs in Helsinki that can easily host events in the 1K,2K and 3K arenas, however can't do to the fact that they are always booked. I know the new system allows for cheaper cost during the weekdays, but Saturday is still most popular regardless.
  11. I was under the impression that learning speed for physicals is not a factor when training doing cardio, weight lifting or yoga...however learning speed does play a roll when doing CT because it is done with a coach and all results from coach training are based on learning speed and age (older they get the slower the gains).......?
  12. Team PhoQus had a rough start (1-3), however 2 of our fighters showed up strong winning earlier rounds... unfortunately they caught some unlucky (for them) shots that put them down. They know what needs to be done and I look forward to them making amends on round 1.
  13. Yeah, a 1500 and maybe 2500 in Helsinki would be nice; the 1K, 2K and 3K are booked way in advance...I had to go into July in order to find a Saturday open, which I booked every Saturday in July for 1K and a couple 2K's... Sorry Helsinki org owners, I knew If I didn't, I wouldn't get it later on!
  14. I would strongly suggest that Clinchwork get 109/110 points at creation "IF" You can't afford a private 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 gym...Simply because it is difficult to find a triple elite clinch coach in public gyms (150 elite), if you do find one, they usually have 5+ fighters per session, which makes it very difficult to boost clinch up from useless to wonderful or higher. Now, if you can afford your own clinch coach for private use, then by all means go useless clinch, cuz you'll get great gains outside of your clinch secondary....
  15. I quickly found 3 companies that sold 159 cheaper than yours (all with video or screen shot proof) and I found a 160 quality at $99 and another at $75... figured I'd let you know before you claim you have the cheapest recovery there is.
  16. Give him a loan for 4K @ 5% interest for 10 weeks, he'll have to pay you back $420 a week for 10 weeks. Or, give him like $5K @ 5% for 10 weeks, then he'll owe you $525 a week for 10 weeks, but that extra grand will give him about 2 weeks to make sure he's got the money to pay you back week to week. Or you can charge him 25% interest and make some money off him for bailing him out, lol...just joking.
  17. Gotta know what your fighters worth and make sure you're getting paid that. I usually shop around when my fighters have 1 fight left, got to have a tool to negotiate with.
  18. When I said I think that sparring is useless, I didn't say or suggest that a fighters primary level is useless.... of course a boxer with Wonderful punch tech and mediocre boxing and maybe wonderful agility isn't going to land very many punches. My statement was intended to suggest that there is a great benefit to primary gains through secondaries training and thus makes a lesser need for sparring. Lets just say that I've got a fighter that has trained punch tech about 90 times, strike defense about 95 times, while only training clinch 9 times and elbows 4. His MT skill jumped nearly 8 levels (IE: Went from like feeble-- to remarkable++) without a single sparring session of MT.
  19. Well, you're typically not going to see great gains for secondaries from sparring anyway, unless you are starting at useless MT and spar with an Elite MT partner until you hit like exceptional or something, you'll probably see very little gain. However, if you train Elbows/Knees/Kicks/Strike Defense you'll notice much greater gains to MT primary. Honestly I've scratched any kind of sparring with my newer fighters, at least for the time being as I don't see any need or use for it...I feel it's just a wasted training session and takes more energy, thus taking away from other sessions.
  20. What I've done recently with some fighters is: 1 strength and 79 cardio and put the rest somewhere else. Then I decide what kind of fighter I'm making. If I choose to do a boxer then I'll go 109 boxing then decide what my number 2 primary will be and put the remaining points (minus the 2 points for the other 2 primaries) there. For secondaries I'd put 1 point into punch tech and strike defense, 1 point into all Thai striking and 109 in clinch. Then I would probably put 109 into grappling defense and takedown defense and then 1 point into all other ground related secondaries, any points remaining will go into a "special exception" skill (IE: Elbows or GnP). I don't know how many others do the 109 points and some may ask why do that and not just make it 110. Well, I like to take the extra few points to get a head start on the "special exception" skill I choose.
  21. Thanks! Without the fighters all the money in the world can't make an org great, so I do what I can to make you all happy.
  22. Hey there: I'm looking for a professionally done set of custom skins for either 1 to maybe 10 of my fighters.... I currently don't have much in mind on what I'm looking for, but that can be discussed when someone shows interest. I would be looking to purchase around a set of 50 (100 total pieces) for each fighter...maybe more if the price is right. Speaking of price, not sure what to expect for this, so depending on what the interested business man would be asking, would depend on how many sets I would purchase and for how many fighters. Please message me in game if interested, thanks http://www.mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=23025
  23. Bump, Bump,. Bump it up.... Signed a few more outstanding fighters, still looking to sign some more! I would be willing to entertain the idea of hosting a main event super fight if there are any interested participants: If so, please make sure your fighter has around 120 or more hype/pop rating... Also, I've never hosted a super fight, so help me out and give me an idea of an agreeable 1 fight contract. Thanks
