  1. Hi, This is one of those games that helps to have a mentor program. I have seen it done on other games with large learning curves. Basically what happens is (I think) the people who sign up get lists of new users in certain areas. They then send a complimentary email welcoming them to the game and asking ppl to send questions to them. Perhaps this could increase manager hype I don't know.

    Training

Its one of those games where you really need to tinker around awhile. Plus, a mentor is smart. Finally, rereading the guides multiple times helps more then you think. To join a gym the first time I think you need to go to the homepage of that gym. Whatever you do, dont stay at cozads gym.
  3. put ads on all the free players stuff
  4. Yes, while you may get a sparring pop, it won't register as a 'session' for punch technique as well or anything like that... You need to specifically take a session in punch technique.
  5. This may have been brought up before, please forgive me if it has. What about being able to pay in game cash for some border ads along the site, be it Clothing, gyms, supps etc.

  7. This could ruin the game. I would rather have a sentence or two sparring session summary to keep me entertained daily... I don't need smokers.
  8. I just replayed the tape. I don't know fight terms so please forgive me on that.. But.. You know, Anderson starts with his typical feel out period, right. he then releases that interesting knee kick.. At 1 minute and 40 seconds into the fight, Silva throws his second blow, a sweeping leg kick which lands on his opponents thigh and cleary spins Maia around 360 degrees nearly knocking him over. I mean... You can begin to understand the guys frustration with the level of competition... A few minutes later he has the guys nose broken... You would think though, if your going to go over the top, why didn't he take it one more step and in between rounds stand in his corner with his corner team, with them all giggling and pointing at Maia?
  9. Lol I don't know about Penn deserving an immediate rematch. While most of us feel 9 times out of 10 Penn is better then Edgar, he sure did lose that night. he seems more and more like a moody kind of guy, if thats the true he needs to work that out and the loss will help him in the end. He went straight from the fight to a book signing, maybe he had his new book on his mind? Anyhow you must admit he played Edgars game, sluggishly trying to make a big swing land and it didn't happen... I watched the Silva fight four times in utter perplexia... Finally to realize that my first impulse was the correct one - He felt like he out matched this guy, and chose to humiliate instead of do what we wanted which was to knock him out. I think there is a possibility he thought he was going to look like a genius by making a last minute highlight reel knockout. To his dismay, Maia failed to give him the opportunity and as a result Silva looked completely ridiculous. I think people who think he gassed or was scared are ridiculous... This man walked into the ring with a weird grin like he knew a big inside joke.. Then went and did a ridiculous amount of bowing before the match started. followed up with an imitation an old school Gracie kneeling pose, then did drunken kung fu, then attempted to hit his opponents thigh, then slandered his opponent, and then danced around the ring... That isn't fear or exhaustion, thats fucking with someone plain and simple.
  10. Thanks guys. I have studied it and I am quite sure its because his energy is only at 50%, and he is using a stamina supp where the cook doesn't list its strength. Only things I can think of. Thanks for the answers.
  11. No his gym conditions are fine, he is on a cheap stamina supp... but could that cause this? I also thought that conditioning was not impacted by IQ or being a slow learner.
  12. Well, in terms of this being "mma tycoon"... It perhaps should just be on the main page who the richest are, and be a sort of symbol of being great at the game. Ther only real other option is to create a market of buying and selling fighters... That would give you guys something to spend your money on.
  13. Hi, I have one new fighter whose conditioning is feeble after 11 cardio sessions. What could be the cause of this?
  14. Hello guys, When it says good kicks or good taketowns on the tale of the tape. Does that just simply mean you have put points or trained it these things, or that a hidden attribute is adding a bonus to it as well?
  15. Oh, well there was a lot of games that had gladiator management... I dont think many exist lately... But it used to look and be fairly identical to this... Anyhow thats where my commentary experience came from.

    Ring Rust

Ok if you guys are so insistent that a brand new fighter doesn't have ring rust.. well he certainly has ring anxiety... so we could call it.... RING READINESS.
  17. What about the typical for games like this.. An if/then slider... IF (losing the match) THEN... The () could be choice of losing, winnning, being taken down, am gassed... a couple others.
  18. Hi, It could be my imagination, but the match commentaries are written in a way which kind of makes me not want to read it... Sort of like that guy on a forum who doesn't know how to use punctuation and indent and stuff? I'm having a hard time identifying it in the commentary. I guess maybe a space between each sentence, or a better font? I mean it isn't that what is written is bad, it is more the style... I wait all week for one fight and then I see myself skimming the fight pbp... Which is not normal for me... In other games with similar commentaries I study ever word in the pbp... Maybe someone else can identify for me what is wrong with it.
  19. Im a noob but I disagree with you, flexability is also for submission defense. And I point you to St pierre verse Dan Hardy. oh you said defensive grappling.. my bad...

    Ring Rust

Come on there needs to be more incentive to not just fight your fighter once every six months real time.... And also to not make a fighter and project him for one year real time... RING RUST....

    GNP

One question I have, both in this game, and in real MMA: If your a ground and pound specialist, after your takedown, what is the best position to be in? For years I thought it was full mount but it seems Joe Rogan tells me it is side control? Whats the best if you want to pound him out?
  22. THIS is what I was looking for! thanks!
  23. yeah im looking for a more advanced answer i got those tidbits, thanks festis..
