  19. KOC 2: The 4-20 Special Preview Hello ladies and gentleman and welcome to the preview of KOC 2: The 4-20 Special! Paul Brookins (8-4) vs Jake Takiez (5-3) First up is the main event between experienced grappler 8-4 Brookins and the ground and pounder 5-3 Takiez. Both of these fighters have weak chins and if Brookins gets caught in a bad position it could be a quick night for him. Both fighters will be looking to take this one to the ground and Brookins will look to land his 7th submission before Takiez can gain top position and lay down some ground pound. This should be a good fight. Mang Kanor (3-2) vs "The Nightmare" John Morrison (4-1) In the co-main event we have a battle of grapplers! "The Nightmare" John Morrison enters this fight coming off the first loss of his career. The jiu jitsu master not only poses a submission threat, he can also lay down some heavy ground and pound. His opponent Kanor on the other hand is a strong submission wrestler who showed nasty submissions in his first 3 fights, subbing all 3 guys in under 4 minutes total. He was then finishes twice himself though, once by knockout and once by submission. Kanor has a lot to prove coming into this fight and I expect to see either a quick submission or a grappling war! Tyga "Le Tigre!" West (1-0) vs "Smith" Dave The Don (1-1) Dave The Don will have his work cut out for him in this fight. After losing a tough decision in his first fight, he showed he can win a fight in his last outing. After taking a bit of a beating early on, he managed to duck under a wild hook from his opponent and land a vision uppercut that knocked him out cold. The Don will look to do the same against "Le Tiger". Tyga "Le TIger" West is also entering this fight with a nice knockout win in his last outing. Although his was via ground and pound. The well rounded West should look to take this fight down to the mat and work the same ground and pound that won him the last fight, while The Don should look to keep it on the feet and work his stand up game. This should be an interesting matchup! Tristan Saunder (1-1) vs Barry "Big" Balls (1-0) All 3 od these 2's combined fights have ended in submissions. They are both well rounded fighters but we have yet to see much of their standup game. I would expect nothing different here as I think we'll see this one in submission too. Another grappler vs grappler matchup that should be fun to watch! Bat "DH" Parry (Pro Debut) vs "Holy" Ark Of The Covenant (1-0) Bat "DH" Parry is making his highly hyped debut after going 22-0 in amateur mixed martial arts tournaments. On most occasions he was fighting 3 or 4 times a night. The 18 year old boxer is now making his professional debut, but it isn't going to be an easy fight. He's matched against the strong kick boxer "Holy" Ark Of The Covenant, who is currently 1-0 with a nice first round knockout. Look out! There will be fireworks in this fight and someone is probably going to get knocked out! Also featuring these undercard fights: Daren Coulter (2-2) vs Maxus Ledus (0-1) Jason Craig (0-1) vs Jaeger Dresmann (1-0) Fabio Paim (Pro Debut) vs Randolph Swartz (Pro Debut) Hercules Jones (0-1) vs Sasha Harris (0-1) Ryan Marks (0-1) vs Tom Brookins (0-1) Bookie Odds at KnockouT Bets

  21. KOC 1: Let's Get It On Preview by Scarlett Slutje. Ladies and Gentleman, the time has come. Yes! You guessed it - KOC 1: Let's get it on! With a lot of hype surrounding this new openweight fight organisation, the Micro Arena in Montreal is expected to sell out! So let's get right to the card. * All fights are 265 + lbs. Main Event - Sam Lewis vs. Double Burger. Sam Lewis is coming off an impressive MMA debut in which he won his first fight 7 seconds into the first round! He proved his nickname of "Hammer" was a perfect fit. No doubt Sam will look to keep this standing and use his Boxing advantage. But weighing 130 lbs less than his opponent Double Burger - it will be an up hill battle. Sam will have to get on the inside and use that insane punching power to good affect. Double Burger will be licking his lips at this fight. Out weighing his opponent and having superior height advantage, he will look to stay on the outside, catch the powerhouse Sam and then follow the huge knockout and use his BJJ blue belt to take home the win. But does Double have the power to get the knockdown? Only time will tell... Co Main Event - John Anderson vs. Ahoy Matey. This is the traditional stand up vs. ground fighter. With both of his career wins coming by way of Submission, John Anderson has been causing a stir within the KOC ranks as a upcoming BJJ specialist. Having lost his first professional fight, many disputed John had the skills to be successful within the MMA business, but on a two fight win streak, he has proved his critics wrong. Up against John is Ahoy Matey. With 3 careers wins, two by way of decision - many have speculated that Ahoy doesn't have the power to be a KO fighter. Ahoy pulled off an amazing victory in his last fight - which ended by TKO (Strikes) which in turn stunned the MMA world as well as silencing them. Will he be able to carry on proving them wrong? Or once again will John show he is the real deal?! Third fight - Nick Kaminsky vs. Nacc Ancan. Well, what a job KOC have done here. With both fighters having the exact same skills, this will be one hell of a fight! Both fighters will be looking to get top position and use their BJJ purple belts to good affect. Having already debut'd in MMA, Nick Kaminsky will have an idea of what to expect, but Nacc is a newbie to MMA, will he be a deer in the headlights? The word from Synergy Fight Team - CT (ACME) is that Nacc has been submitting guys for the fun of it and now the team mates no longer want to spar with him. Hopefully he can show us this within the fight! But, take nothing away from Nick - having grinded out a impressive debut win, he showed he has the heart to be a superstar. Now can he build on that?! Fourth fight - The Beast vs. All I do. Expect a stand up way from the forth fight tonight! Having Wonderful Muay Thai and making his debut is The Beast. With no professional fights to his name, he is an unknown within the MMA game. But rumors from the Thai fight camp - Dragon Muay Thai is that he is one of the deadly clinch fighters to come out of the camp. With a rumored Amateur Muay Thai record of 24-1 - 20 fights finishing by way of knees, he isn't to be messed with. Looking to stop Beasts Muay Thai is All I do. Having wonderful boxing, this fight will not be going to the floor. All I do will be looking to stay clear of The Beasts Muay Thai and controlling the outside of the cage. Having lost his debut in MMA, All I do has been training hard. With rumored some of the best conditioning within KOC, he can certainly last the 3 round, but will he get his career back on track? Either way, this should be one cracking stand up war! Fifth fight - Arturo Rojas vs. Magnum PI. Sadly - I see a clear cut winner here. And that is Arturo Rojas. Out skilling Magnum PI in both stand up aspects, and having the same ground skills. I see no way for the MMA Debut of Magnum PI to go right... Arturo could take fight anywhere he wanted, and I suspect he will be going for the KO to prove he has what it takes to be a firm contender within the KOC ranks. I just hope Magnum doesn't get to hurt and gets swift medical attention after the fight... Also on card tonight: # 6 - David Miller v Eastview Ryda. # 7 - Mc Cafe v Aaron Gutierrez. # 8 - Josh Dudley v Charles Rua. # 9 - Tom Brookins v Sudipta Kar. # 10 - Meraxes Targaryen v Vince Glaire. Thank you for reading. Scarlett Slutje, over and out. God Bless. Bookie Odds at KnockouT Bets
