  1. we would have additional fighters or something? or some of our regular fighters would be taken off the normal circuit and put into this leag mode? p.s. played hattrick back in the day, that sounds cool
  2. I would like to add my 5 pennies to the topic. - Yeah, takedowns can be hard to land, but i wouldnt say its that hard. It would need a bit tweaking, as well as submissions. Other thing is, how many points fighters get for landing takedowns. I mena, if due to engie build you need say, 30-60 seconds to get position after takedown, land couple punches, advance, go for sub, then if you land takedown in last minute, its seems you get no points at all, becouse you dont have enought time to do something wit it due to engine. - Theres definately problem with ammounts of skills required to compete with strikers. And theres the other thing. Grapplers, if they dont hit the takedown and submission, are more frequently fighting 3/5 rounds. They need much more time to recover, and hence they dont have comparable time for training. While it doesnt matter for beast projects, who basically start to fight and have all skills on their place, it is problem for weaker, mid tier guys, who will fall behind greatly to the strikers, who will need 3 sessions after ko victory instead of 14 sessions for 3 rounds of ground war. - GnP is not that much effective (not counting mount), and leaves many occasions for high control/counter tactic. -Defensive grappling is a bit too powerful compared to primaries and the other ground secondaries (its manntosens opinion, with i agree). But theres other problems connected with it. The most important one, is the ability to land sweeps on the ground. I had my good wrestler/bbj'ers being sweept easily by inferior ground fighters, even when their primaries, secondaries, and even very important physicals as balance. Especially wrestling should be waaay more effective, and guard/ side control sweeps should be waaaay more hard to get. When regarding to mount, its often leading to back mount, and sometimes escapes to the half guard. but its very poerfull in the game, and maybe not as powerfull in reality.
  3. imma start with the W biaczes!
  4. you know what? now, after reading what mike said, the signature under topics name ("been a while since I dropped a bomb") is even funnier. Damn shure he dropped a bomb on mike ...
  5. or maybe allow multis, but dont allow them to run common businesse? probably someone brought that up around like milion times, but its always an option. more time for mike, mor cash for mike etc

  12. So why wouldnt you have smaller show? hurted pride or something? It seems completly reasonable, that if you cant afford to do something you should go bankrupt, change the way your bussiness works, or look for some loan (since you were talking about all the cash floating around...) what is the difference, honestly, between 800k and 5 mil? Its like saying 'mister officer, im basically innocent, i only fucked 13 uears old girl once, not eight years old boy ten times'. Obviously, its exagerated, and noone is comparing you, or your behaviour to anything mentioned above (as someone would say for shure), its just description of the way you try to neutralize your actions. am i wrong or you just said 'im doing wrong, i know it, i admit it, but the guy didnt code it to be PERFECT game thus ... (make your own conclusion...) so, since its too much work, probles with engine etc it shouldnt be done? and people could go with it on and on? it would be harder even now if 'softcheaters' would pay more attention to hiding it, but id doesnt change a thing. quick question: small, mediom-small orgs cant make profit as well? if they can, why dont make net of small, feeder orgs, who pull decent ammount of income from small fighters and volountarily give it to the big leagues to provide us with best fights and ppv and shit...
  13. Robert Makuszynski (174836) Hello there lads, my name is Bogus Linda, and as a manager of Robert Makuszynski, one of the LOL participants I would like to ask him couple questions. Since he's Polish, (not suprisingly I'm Polish as well) and the only words in english he knows is 'faster', ' 12 beers please' and 'big bucket of chicken wings', I'll ask questions in Polish and translate it for you. So, lets go! Its nice you found some time to talk with me RM: Hey, yeah, shure, its nice that anybody wanted to talk with me anyway after my last fight Byrk: Powiedz nam, w jaki sposób znalazłeś się w LA, i kiedy rozpocząłeś swoją karierę zawodnika MMA. Obiłem pare twarzy, zarobilem kilka dolcow, w koncu uslyszalem o LOL i sie zglosilem. translation: Byrk: Tell us please, what bring you to the LAm and how did you start your adventure with MMA? RM: It all started in Torun. In this city you can be either lawyer, or a bartender in some pub for law students. Ive picked the second option. One night, some rich girl tried to get into my pants and was buying drinks for her and for me. You know, you should not refuse women. At some point of the evening, couple 'fellas from the city' came int othe bar. They started hitting on the girl i intented to fuck. One thing led to another, and there was a fight. I was hit with a bottle, with a chair... I dont remember quite well, they probably hit me even with a table... Well, lets just say I gave them back some if their medicine. One of those dickheads looked worse than Fedor after Silva fight, and other one could bend his knee ther other way, like a stork. It was like my first amateur MMA fight hehehe. But... i had to change my location rather fast after that thing... And since i had aunt in chicago, i went to the states to check how life looks in states. It was not 'movie like', but i got job on construction site and i still couldnt return to Torun... After some time my visa expired, and guys from emigration office started to show interest in me. So i moved from Chicage to LA. I always liked Baywatch, so i figured i can check the city. Well... after all Im nof made to be an actor, and there wasnt too much job offers at the place... So, i figured, that if i like to fight anyway, i can earn some money at some small, half amateur events. Ive beat up some guys, earned few bucks and heard about this LOL thing. Ive sent them my offer to join them, and here i am. Byrk: a teraz powiedz nam troche o swoim stylu. RM: coz, jestem typowym polskim zapasnikiem (to znaczy kiepskim ), swoj styl pokazalem w mojej pierwszej oficjalnej walce ktora odbyla sie 2 dni temu. translation Byrk: can you tell us now a bit about your style? RM: im typical polish wrestler (shitty one ). Ive showed how i fight in my last fight. Byrk: a co powiesz nam o swoim przeciwniku? RM: moj oponent wykazal sie dobrym planem na walke, po wszystkim podszedl do mnie i pogratulowal mi walki. Lubie go i uwazam ze jest swietnym facetem. translation Byrk: and what could you tell us about your last opponent? RM: this guy was a fu** joke. He hit me like some pansy, with his shitty Greg Jackson gameplan. He was lucky i didnt kill him in there. Honestly, he was lucky as hell he won that fight, as im better than he is in every aspect of the game. I will spank this ass next time we will fight and ill span every ass that whoever will put infront of me! Yeah thats right! Im game and i will crusk every opponent on my way to domination in that league! Byrk: opowiedz nam o swoim doświadczeniu dotyczącym sportów walki RM: cóz, jak byłem mały trenowałem troche karate... musze przyznać mam naturalny talent do uderzania, później uprawiałem zapasy, przez około 1.5 roku. To właśnie zapasy uznaję za moją bazę. Wiem, że każda walka w tym turnieju to będzie wielkie wydarzenie, ale dam z siebie wszystko, zeby je wygrac, chociaz wiem ze moi przeciwnicy beda probowali tego samego. translation: Byrk: Tell us something about your experience regarding fight sports? RM: i trained some kyokushin karate when i was young, thought have natural talent when it comes to standup. Then i did 1.5 year of wrestling training, and i think about myself as a wrestler. Also, i know what kind of opposition ill face. Some pseudofighters, who only fought their girlfriends in their beds, who cant take a punch, who cant take anyone down! I dont need years of training to decapitate them, to demolish them and to basically own all of them. They dont know whats coming their way. I was reading all this crap they said, but they will be suprised, when ill beat them so bad, they will wake up in night becouse of nightmares about me! they are nobodies and ill show it to the audience! Byrk: coz, dziekuje za wywiad i zycze powodzenia! RM: dziekuje bardzo i do zobaczenia na ringu! translation Byrk: thanks for the interview and good luck! RM: thanks, but i dont need any fucking luck to tool all of them pussies! Ill destroy every single one of them! Watch out! im coming! Thats all from RM today guys, all of you who can read polish, take a look, as not everything could be translated precisely!
  14. sad news over here. and lots of exculpating and watering down all the info in here. So, are there enought info to make some kind og list about what top orgs did that kind of shady business in the game? we now know syn did... who else?
  15. i still cant find info about when the fights will start its kind of important
  16. daaaaamny my group its time to make some upsets considering im total underdog to most of guys in my group edit:im either half blind or half illiterate. when the first round will start? we have time from 4 th march till 10th to create a fighter, ad when the first round starts?
  17. guys above. more people in the tournament makes it longer. while its all about fun, if it would last couple weeks longer becouse of more people, some of managers would get bored/exhousted with it. at least thats the way i understand what theyre saying
  18. they may also talk about the number of fights, duration etc.
  19. also... no... (btw, most people i know who like mma are completly disinterested in boxing. it looks like its whole differently in states.. why is that?)
  20. can we make more than one guy and pick from them the one that will participate?
  21. lockdown will win it without getting in the tournament
  22. 2*5 mins let dem grapplers more time to work on da ground
  23. yeah, but im saying it with the case of starting skill points. with no/almost no training, you basically go throught whole thing with the same skillset. and its not too god skillset with 18 yo guys.
  24. im in,screw the record ;] some things. what would be the time to train? in no time, then i would insist on 25 yo creations. im not some kind of spec about the game, but from my experience its way more difficult to create grappler or clinch guy with 18 yo guys starting points. it could end up being too much standup orientated tourney. and basically, with decision in fight and energy loss the way it is now, there will be basically no time to train, so it would stress out the thing i mentioned above even more. there one or two things i wanted to ask about but im tired and ive forgotten them by now so ill ask it later.
