Really REALLY happy with a few of these.

Not really man, it's different strokes for different folks IMO. You have your own creative style and it suits you. I really dig some of the background work you do. You also find art that I haven't seen before which is impressive to me considering how much time I sink into finding and saving art from all over the net. The only thing I would point out to work on for you is possibly text/font treatments. But that comes without knowing what program you are using and such, which really changes what you are able to do.

It's not free time though. You are being compensated for it, even if it is just in a game world. Unless you are just giving away the posters for no in game currency, then you are an employee of the organization. And how much the employer can demand of the employee is based on the agreement made between the two. The org owners I have worked with have pretty much given me free reign, but when they are looking for something specific or special, i try to oblige them. If I feel it is in the best interest of the art form, I try to sway them politely towards another option. I also don't request any kind of money in advance for this reason. If at any point the relationship sours, neither of us is locked into any long term deal. Just some things to consider. Reputation can get you pretty far in the game, especially in this chunk of it. You do good work and I like your style, so I want you to be able to stick around and keep making stuff for a long time.

Bad form man. I take it you don't do any kind of custom work out in the real world. When a client hires you, you are working for them. It is your goal to give them what they want. None of his requests made in this thread were anywhere close to deserving of that kind of response. Honestly, in regards to the style, I agree that your original poster was the best of the ones presented here. But that was still a poor way to get that point across to the org owner.
