  1. Another win for Spurs, 2-0 vs Forrest. The bad news is that Bissouma got a red, so he will be out 3 games and Udogi got a yellow, so he is also out of the next game (or maybe 2, not 100% certain). Johnson also got a bad hit that split him open and could be out due to concussion. That is 3 lost players from 1 game, not good. Especially Johnson because that will mean Kulisevski will need to play on the wing, which means we play without a playmaker, Ange puts Skipp to play in that role (he did that 2 times in the past 3 games), but he clearly is not cut out for that role, we will likely bring in Lo Celso instead, he was playing good before Ange made some changes in the past 2 games. Emerson will need to replace Udogi, which means going forward we will be less effective, Emerson is also a natural right back, not left back, so he will be playing on the wrong foot. Hoiberg will replace Bissouma, which actually could be good news, because Bissouma is a catastrophe waiting to happen.
  2. GAMMA is happy to announce the return of one of my old partners, Rogelio Cottonfloss! He was previously one of my mentee's and he is the original founder of the GAMMA: Contenders dating back to 2013 and was running the org for over a year. He has agreed to take over as the new owner of the organization and take it to new heights. I would also like to take this moment to thank Clifton Barnes (6101) who became the (12th owner) and ran the Contenders from 2nd December 2021 till December 15th 2023. Previously he also was involved in the GAMMA Developmental league (GDL), which he also ran from October 2020 till March 2022, making him one of the longest standing GAMMA affiliate owners in history. If you need any contract for peaked (or near peaked) fighters with lower rank, then contact Rogelio directly: https://www.mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=88129
  3. One of the greatest fighters for sure and easilly the best in the past 3-4 years. In terms of longevity, he is likely the best ever, especially if you consider he was doing this at HW + SHW. The only downside i would say is that he dominated the "graveyard" era of this game, where the level of top managers is nowhere close to where it was 10-12 or even 6-7 years ago.
  4. I bet there is plenty of other glitches as well.
  5. I consider this a very obvious glitch. If a fighter can compete non stop and have no penalties for cuts/injuries, then clearly the orgs running shows with such fighters have an advantage. Not to mention that for some reason these fighters are bundled into the same category with MMA fighters in the all time wins etc. How do that make sense? Why are MMA fighters who have all the restrictions and limitations of injuries/cuts/kos (ie chins being worn down), put into the same catagory as grapplers who can spam 3-4 fights per week? Besides that, there is something clearly wrong with the actual figures. Pay close attention to the hype vs PPV profits of these orgs + take into consideration that these orgs have so many events. At that level of events, the depreciating returns formula should be hitting them hard. I think either the depreciating returns is turned off, or something else, because when i run just 1 extra event per month, i go from make a few 100k per show to losing money, clearly that is not the case here.
  6. It is not difficult to figure out: #1 Find the long term Grappling orgs, #2 Check their PPV sales compared to their running costs and compare those figures to MMA PPV orgs, #3 Look at how many events they are running per month and compare that to any other orgs in the game. #4 Then look at those org owner bank accounts + their alliance mates accounts. Then it becomes pretty obvious.
  7. Interesting point, i think there is no code which says a fighter is dead. Most likely your 76y old will keep on fighting as long as you want. Will be interesting to see a 100y old fighter compete in the near future.
  8. 4-1 vs Newcastle today, finally we got on the winning trail after 5 games without a win. I think we was unlucky to not get some results during that 5 game run, today it all clicked and it was good that Ange made some tactical changes. Put in Sarr in the place of Le Celso (which was not easy to do as Le Celso had 2 goals in the past 2 games), put Johnson on the right and Son on the left (even though he is our top scorer), with Richarlison playing down the middle, moving Kulisevski in the "Maddisson" #10 role. The result? Son 2 assists and a goal, Richarlison 2 goals, Johnson hit the post 2 times, Sarr was probably the best player, so yeah, the plan worked. Forrest next on Friday.
  9. I am not sure if both devs are out, but it does seem that there is much less movement recently. There is at least one massive money printing glitch in the game, it is pretty serious to be honest, in fact it is so serious, that the people doing it, have kind of broken the game if their money printing is not removed totally. My prediction is that they have generated in 9-10 months more money than PPV level orgs (like GAMMA) have generated in 15 years, so yeah, clearing that out is absolutely a priority.
  10. What i mean is, if you are increasing skills faster and degrading faster, it means your career in real life days is also shorter. That means, to get 30,40,50 fights, you need to be having more regular fights as well. This means the org you are competing in, needs to run more events every month. More events = depreciating returns for the org, which also means they wont be able to pay the same contracts, without going bankrupt. My point is, simply speeding up the progression and regression has a LOT of questions attached to it, you cannot simply do that without brining to the table so many other factors.
  11. If lets say you have an org, running 1 event per week and fighters progress faster, it means they also degrade faster. If a fighter has the same injuries and cuts as now, it means that if a fighter is out for 3 weeks, it will play a much bigger role in that fighter's career. Recovery times will also need to be speed up, because if they recover at the same pace (after fights), it means that they will degrade much more significantly when they do not train. Going back to the 1 event per week scenario, that will be insufficient, because fighters need more regular fights under the new rules. If not, fighters will have much fewer fights during their career. I guess the easiest solution, is to simply speed up training during the first few years until a certain age, then have it the same as it is now, it will also play a big difference. Maybe if peak age is early 20s instead of mid 20s, it will be massive, it will make 16y olds more interesting, as they can peak in 4-5 in game years. I 100% agree that developing a fighter takes way too much time, but i think we should avoid changing too many other things.
  12. On the one had i agree totally, on the other hand, the game has been around for 15 years now. What you guys are saying will mean you need to basically change the whole game, because not only will they mature faster, they will also degrade and decline faster. It also means you have to also alter other things in the game such as injuries, cuts, how regularly orgs can hold events (as fighters will need to compete more regularly). Not to mention any such changes will totally destroy all legacies and historical records, as basically it means the rules have also been changed. I would say, it makes more sense to relaunch something like the "Island", a continual universe where all fights are considered amature fights (ie, do not count towards their professional records). Fighters develop much faster. I would speed the gameworld even more than you mentioned, maybe have it 4x faster (now 1 month = 1 in game year, you can do it 1 week = 1 in game year), that way a fighter will go from 18y to peak within 4-6 months. VIP members will be allowed to have 1 extra company at a cost on this new universe. Once the fighter reaches a certain age, they automatically become professional and move to the main gameword, their amateur record is recorded separately. To make this worthwhile for Mike, maybe have some additional minor cost per fighter who is on this gameworld, or allow existing manager to also run an "amateur" company. Profits will also be smaller, but you will be able to run more events.
  13. I am reading over my post and it happened exactly as i expected. In the last game Ange made some major changes against Villa. He moved Kulisevski in the creative Maddison role (roaming playmaker) and although he was not Maddison, he was good in that role. He made some major changes in the middle, bringing in Bentacur and Le Celso, which also added to our creativity. In the back he did a drastic move, playing 4 full backs in a 4 man defense! (Davies and Royal in the middle). The midfield moves were great, we moved up 1-0 but then Bentacur got injured and Villa started to take advantage of the fact that we had no central defenders. We let in a goal via a header, then we ended up losing 2-1 on a counter attack. Overall we did not deserve to lose, but a loss in a loss. This weekend we have City away, we have a great record against them, i guess you could say we are their boogie team, lets see.
  14. The GAMMA organization is proud to induct Joy Rones (305095) into it's Hall of Fame! Joy competed in GAMMA under 4 different managers but without any doubt his success was under Legendary GAMMA Hall of Fame manager Grumpy Bastard (102643). He competed in the org from 2019-07-20 until his retirement in 2021-06-05. His overall record was 13-12-2, which may not look impressive but that is mainly because he went 2-9 in his last 11 fights. He is a 2 time 170lbs champion, competing in a total of 13 high profile fights, 11 of which were title fights and 2 super fights. He was a top #7 all time ranked fighter who also came second in the GAMMA fighter of the year awards back in 2020. He had multiple historic wins, including those over Afeef Isa Baba, Julio Regueiro, Santino Lombardo, Mario Benedetti, Chris Steve, Lao Shin and Lee Sin among many others. His grand total of 194 points ranks him 45th among all GAMMA fighters historically. Truth is, Roy had a short run, if comparing to the all time GAMMA greats, but his peak was a good as anyone's, not to mention he competed in a very deep 170lbs division at the time. This induction is Grumpy's 2nd all time, this also pushes him up the all time GAMMA rankings among managers, moving him up to 6th position all time, even though he has been retired for many months now.
  15. Every org have their own criteria. GAMMA is legacy orientated, shedding out an "award" to a fighter down the card means nothing to a fighter's legacy because #1 he could be out the org pretty soon and #2 it was against lower end opponent. Our whole system of rating a fighters career is more focused on top end fights. Lower end fights also get some love, but nowhere the same value. Besides that, this is my org, i have been running it this way for 15 years, i do not plan to start giving flavor text more importance, because to me, flavor text means nothing.
  16. Just so that you know, the way i give the FON awards has pretty much little to do with the flavor text. I always give the awards to one of the top 2-3 fights on the card. Usually it is either for the main event or one of the title fights. Usually the FON goes to the highest rated title fight and KO + submission awards go to the highest hyped fights on the card. FON awards go towards the "legacy" of a fighter, (his ranking points), so i always prioritise the more estabilished fighters.
  17. I am proud to announce the induction of Hans Hermann Hoppe (309294) to the GAMMA Hall of fame! Hans competed in GAMMA from 2019-02-09 until 2022-04-16 and was managed by GAMMA HoF manager Rodrigo Rojas (101547). He had a total of 47 fights with a total record of 26-20-1. He had a total of 11 finishes and 17 FON awards. He also competed in 13 title fights in total. He is one of very few fighters to win 2 division titles at 145lbs and 155lbs. At 155lbs he won the title 3 times. He ended his career with 195 total ranking points, which places him as joint 43 among all GAMMA fighters in history. Probably his most significant wins are over William Spud, Dougal McCraken x2, Bunt Jernit, Edward Kenway, Harry Kane among others. This is also the second fighter Rodrigo has in the GAMMA Hall of Fame and has moved him up to 828 total points, which is 12th in the all time rankings among managers.
  18. The problem with Ange is that he has just one strategy and he sticks to it, even if you need to adapt. His strategy is the full backs close in to cover the midfield and offer passing options. Madisson has the free roaming role and links up the play. The wingers cut in and make runs behind and we push way up when defending, relying on speed and control of our Central defenders to cover ground if somebody goes behind the line. The problem with all this is, he uses this strategy even if we are playing with 10 or 9 men! He even said he will play the same way even if we had 5 players (which is why we got thrashed 4-1 against Chelsea). Also other teams have started to figure it out, we have lots of space on the sides against fast wingers (Arsenal scored twice via the right wing and we was playing with our luck as Udogie was on 1 card all game). This tactic wont work at all as Romero and Vert are out. Dier and Davies lack the pace to do the same job. Plus we now lack the key peice which is Madisson, who can play the roaming playmaker role? We have zero options in that position. Maybe Kane could of done that but he is not here, Kulisevski maybe? I doubt it, but he has the skills. Possibly Le Celso? In theory we bought him for that, he just did not show he can do that. In short, being a one trick pony with the wrong personnel wont work. We need to think about a new tactic / approach, at least until our players come back.
  19. yeah, he logged in today, i had an issue pending and he responded.
  20. So it seems we are on autopilot mode 🙂
  21. That would be nice, i would have another 15 slots 😀
  22. And just like that, Spurs season is basically already over. We lost the past 2 games, but the reason we lost it was mainly due to the fact that we have become a hospital, the among of injuries is pretty rediculous at the moment. Look at this list: Richarlison (Just had knee surgery, will be out for at least 2-3 months) Perisic (Long term absentee, could be out 4-5 months) Romero (Still out due to his straight red) Johnson (just recently came back, forced into the main lineup due to injuries) Bentancur (just came back, not in full form yet) Porro (has a knock, but could play) Solomon (out long term, they said he could miss the year) Van de Ven (out for 3-4 months) Udogie (did not travel for the international games due to an injury) But the one injury that hurts the most is Madisson, he wont play until the next year, could be out for 2-3 months they say. We have no replacement for him. Basically we have 6 of our main 11 out at the moment, we lacked a proper bench to begin with, but damn that is harsh. With the upcoming xmas schedule coming at us fast and furious, i cannot see us surviving this and still being a top 4 team. So we went from outsiders for the title, to unlikely top 4 over a 2 week space.
  23. I would like to announce that we now have a new merch partnership with 30th Century Beer Store (7128). Jay Stoner is a long term GAMMA manager and currently owns multiple companies. 30th Century Beer Store (7128) is currently ranked #2 in the world and it was only natural to consider them. They will be sending sponsorship deals to anyone currently available inside the organization and are currenly offering highly competitive sponsorship deals for whoever is interested. Here is a link to their store: https://www.mmatycoon.com/nutritionpublic.php?ncid=7128 I would also like to take this time to thank Urban Fighter for being the merch partner of GAMMA from October 1st 2017 till now November 11th 2023. Alika Webb recently retired from the game, his 6 year partnership is probably the longest merch deal in the history of this game, thanks for the support all those years.
  24. There are rumors about AJ or WIlder, both fights will be interesting i think. He will be the underdog in either of those fights again. He will make much more in 2 fights doing Boxing than all his UFC career. Hell, he probably made more in that one fight with Fury already. If i was him i would not bother going to MMA if there is the potential of at least one big Boxing fight against anyone of those 2 mentioned. He does not have anything to prove in MMA anyway. Maybe he could come back after the boxing fight to face Jones or do the Miocic trilogy, but beyond that, i do not see anything else worthwhile there.
