after a fight, it gives you a fight rating %. what is that, and how do they determine it? i've had boring fights that were pretty high and i've had quick 1st round finishes that were pretty low. i've also had fights that took place in 1 place (like a clinch) with lots of action that only got like 70%.

in general, how effective is training sparring vs training specific thinks like punches and striking defense. i know it matters on variables like how many people are in a class or how many stars your sparring partner has, but how do you guys use sparring in general? typically i've been setting my guys at conditioning gyms to do sparring, and i don't feel like they are making any great gains in anything.

PAUL HUNTINGTON (zayeed's manager) It has come to my attention that my client has been making disparaging comments toward other fighters. I would like to take this opportunity to say a few things. 1st of all, Mr. Abdullah is sorry about any comments he has made toward Mr. Hoptop and Mr. Morales. He has a large amount of respect for these individuals and sees them as professional athletes. 2nd, Mr. Abdullah would like to apologize to the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender community for any statements he made that may have been offensive or in bad taste. He has stated that part of his purse from the fight will go to the GLBT rights chariy. 3rd, this is not a case of "ROID RAGE". Mr Abdullah has had issues with performance enhancers in the past, however those mistakes were in the past. He is clean, he has passed the drug test for his last fight, and the 4 times he was busted were years ago as an amateur. 4th, This is not a case of drug or alcohol abuse. While Mr. Abdullah does partake in social drinking, he has not drank at all while in training and has not taken any street drugs in years. 5th, Mr. Abdullah is not mentally ill. While Zayed has struggled in the past with a mood disorder, he has sought treatment and is working with a psychiatrist and psychologist on stressful emotions from his youth. This is just a case of a man who is under a great deal of stress preparing for a big fight. I hope you all understand and have not taken anything Mr. Abdullah has said personally.
