  1. Is it against the rules for me to enter? I won't if its an issue, but to have the opportunity to participate in the biggest tournament ever fathomed - I want to do it!
  2. Umm...you mean like this post? I left this thread over 24 hours ago, and you can't let it go. Do you care to have any proof into the idiotic statements you make? I mean, your posts over the past year have proven, without a doubt, that you have the mental capacity of a 5 year old, but you can't expect any of us to take you seriously by just making claims with no proof, can you? Again, did I start this thread? No, JouniH did. Did I attack NFC in any of my posts in this thread? No. Did I post a link to a second player who also was committing the same 'crime' as the one mentioned in the OP? Yes. Did I question why everyone was so quick to just write this off when it seemed that only a couple of people outwardly knew about this glitch - and they all were business partners? Yes. Do I still question why, even a week after realizing the glitch was still occurring, Mike wasn't notified? Yes. I don't force people to make actions - I just react to the actions they make when I believe them to be 'wrong'. So, feel free to try to turn this thread around on me (and I know when edfan and jacky are against me, I have to be in the right), but I am not the one who 'exposed' the glitch here. Which brings me to my next point. Please, please, if your mental capacity allows it, show me the one case where I've exposed a glitch that was unknown to the user base and required Mike to drop everything to fix it because it had the potential to greatly hurt the game. Come on, we'll all wait. I'm a hypocrite (that's how you spell it, by the way), so that must mean I do this myself - I find glitches, take advantage of them before anyone else knows, and wait until the inevitable forum thread turns up and Mike fixes it. So, what have I done? What has anyone in Blitz done? The fact is - you will ignore this because you have nothing. The few glitches we have come across - long ago - we told Mike privately - how I would expect most people to handle these things. Keep spouting about me/us being hypocritical and trying to cheat others when its just flat out not true. Finally, regarding the comments mentioned about PFL and TDC, I always thought that RoLe was around when people could have 2 companies - I thought that was why he has tried so earnestly not to close his gym or anything. And, for TDC, I don't remember Eric having two companies at any time. I know he ran a gym in NY or something, but I'm pretty sure he sold it to open TDC. People might definitely 'bash' Eric for the way some think he built Tobin to make his millions, but I never remember him doing anything with glitches that resulted in a forum thread against him. And, for the record, I'm pretty sure Eric never had any intentions of giving Blitz that 6M - he planned on working with us and keeping the money for himself to train his fighters until the end of time.
  3. How have I called out the entire NFC organization and community? Explain to me your moron-logic here... Did I start this thread? No. Don't come after me with some holier-than-thou approach when YOU were the one a year-plus ago posting threads like this daily - this person used this glitch, this person used this glitch, etc. And, comprehend what a person is saying. I have issue with the action committed here. My only issue with NFC (beyond the aforementioned racism) is that you and others have implied here that this was all done as some sanctioned testing of some sort - they were our saviors and we should all bow down before them. As proven, that is not at all the case. Keep talking edfan - I'm done with you. Mike has made his statement, this thread is worthless now. You might fool noobs who think you are someone to idolize as the #1 manager, but I've been around long enough to know you for the pos you are.
  4. Well, I'm still undefeated against you, and since I'm the biggest can manager there is, MMAth tells me that you are a can.
  5. And you were not calling for apologies to be given to them?
  6. Great post, AJ. It seems that we've lately taken to making victims of cheats, multis, etc. in this game. Regardless of who does it, if you have multis, if you knowingly exploit an issue with the game, if you do any of these sorts of thing, you are not a victim in my eyes. And I refuse to make a victim of someone who does things like this. jiilo, ViD, Barns - they all might be the greatest people in the world, but this action (for those with trouble comprehending, I'm bashing the action here, not those that committed this action) is wrong. Barns, in this thread, admits this happened months ago - MONTHS! How is he a victim here? Jiilo says he alerted Mike. Jiilo heard nothing so he tried to see if it was fixed A WEEK AGO! He realized this was still not working a week ago and didn't re-contact Mike? How is he the victim here?
  7. I agree with this, but I don't see it as 'we let the other stuff go, so let this go', I see it as 'those are bad, this is worse, we need to do something to fix this'. edit: And yes, you're right...I'm not known to argue against things I think are wrong - this is the first time. I'm so obvious. Last week I was posting about something done by an org who was like 8th in its city at the time - I was just trying to keep them down.
  8. Since when? They're #1 today, Blitz was #1 yesterday. Hardly consistently...but see what you wish. If anything, I'm anti-NFC because ViD and Barns are 'out-of-the-closet racists', and I want nothing to do with that and don't feel the need to promote that opinion by being associated with anything they are associated with. Either way, I see a big difference between buying 1000 T-Shirts from someone and using a glitch to get two companies under one manager. I can do a whole lot more with two companies than a 1000 T-Shirts (or even the 300,000 from selling 1000 t-shirts) - a whole lot more. Why are bookies even able to be bought and sold or to be swapped? What's the value in that?
  9. Either you guys are a lot nicer or a lot more naive than me... Seems odd that those involved and the companies involved are all NFC-related...especially when one of the companies is already found to be nameless... I don't know...maybe I let my imagination take the best of me!
  10. Maybe its just all the Helsinki orgs? http://www.mmatycoon....php?MgrID=5893 Edit: And, for the record, there is a reason why we shouldn't be allowed two companies - the game, and the economy itself, are in bad enough shape without adding an abundance of new companies.
  11. Much of what BrainSmasher said, Judoka. I'm not saying that a guy like Arthur Meighen would receive less money than a guy like John Farson, but I've seen fighters who are 120k ID that have Top 2000 P4P rank with Wonderful/Feeble/Respectable/blue that I just know aren't going to cut it yet against top competition yet. Some org owners might not care and might still offer this guy a contract, but I know I wouldn't because at the end of the day, its more trouble than its worth. You did.
  12. For a Top 3000 fighter, I think you're looking at 5/5 roughly. Obviously, pop also has an effect as does fighter ID and skill set - you'll attract more attention with greater skills. Additionally, a Top 3000 fighter might see a higher contract from a mid-tier org than a top org who might have less value in a Top 3000 P4Per.

    Hype Earner

Because I'm a stickler for semantics (at least in this case )... Fighter hype should never be affected by anything other than winning and losing of fights. Hype is your P4P rank - this is what this entire game is based on practically and we should in no way fabricate it or alter it any way outside of the ring/cage. Fighter pop, on the other hand, is really what I think the OP is calling for, and we already have the ability for fighters to select the 'popular' hidden. For example, a Brian Stann-type fighter would select 'popular' as one of his three hiddens. As for holiday events, I've often thought it'd be cool, but it has always seemed like something that would never be agreed on. Like, what days get the boost? NYE? What else? Super Bowl weekend? July 4th weekend? Is that only in certain cities, or all cities? Seems like if you do it realistically, you create 2 days a year where orgs in certain cities have advantages over other orgs, and if you don't do it realistically, its creating a situation where every org gets a bump on certain weekends. Seems like a great idea in theory, but lots of questions to decide if its really worth it.
  14. LOL! Welcome to the wonderful world of org ownership!
  15. Sorry, guys - this is completely my fault. As most of you know, its a holiday weekend in America this weekend and I'm away - signed in to see this! Huge win for Meighen!! I'd pay attention to this fight: http://www.mmatycoon.com/scoutfight.php?fida=11495&fidb=35087
  16. I'm not sure what your post is saying here, Barnabas, so I can't comment on most of it, but I can guarantee you that if you had responded to my in-game PM telling me to shoot a contract over, I would have sent 4 fights, 10-15k/7k/7k. If you then accepted it, funneled all of the money off of him, and then sacked him, you'd be on my shit list! Edit: And where we are going with this thread is trying to create a system to protect org owners and managers alike from 'scumbags' (since that seems to be the popular term although I much prefer 'douchenozzles' ). As community members, we have two options - try to improve the community or try to take advantage of it.
  17. I'm not labeling you as anything - I am just reading your posts. And let's not intimate that I'm taking shots at Barn or Halo here. My comment you referenced was more in the hypocrisy of others who bash AA, but don't do the same to a group that is more 'popular' if you will. However, with how this thread is going, I don't blame you for trying to change the subject here!
  18. If you have a 1k P4P guy and he isn't making 7.5-10k base/win, you should be asking for a raise!
  19. Yeah, this is the part that is most mind-boggling to me. All these people that think that 1/4000/6000 for 5 fights is a good contract for this guy, please come to me when you have a FA because I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! On the open market, that guy gets at least 10k/7k/7k - and likely more. So, we're at the point in our in-game society with rather than trying to improve it, we're resorting to beating others to the "scumbag-punch". Surely that can't be your argument here, can it? And, considering I had my eye (as I always do) on the FAs without contracts that I wanted to offer contracts to for Blitz, and got the following response from Barnabas, I'm pretty sure you knew exactly what you were doing here:

    VIP Glitch

Log out and log back in - there was a server issue.
  21. There was an issue with the server - Helsinki fights are being run manually right now.
  22. I think the issue isn't necessarily looking out for the dumbass, but the noob who doesn't know better... Couple of scenarios that play out in a situation like this: a ) managers don't want to be tied down to 5 fights at 4/6 and don't pick up the fighter and he retires b ) manager picks up fighter, requests release, and is released c ) manager picks up fighters, requests release, org owner tries to screw over manager further, manager either re-sacks or sits out contract d ) manager picks up fighter, doesn't know better because he is a noob, and is stuck in a 5-fight contract at rather low pay In most of those situations, that sounds like its giving too much power to the org owner (and I'm an org owner). On the other hand, for org owners signing fighters and the fighters being sacked mid-contract, this prevents org owners being screwed by that. Seems win-win (even if I know Mike hates it!)
