You won't get offers quickly if you are a featherweight from Las Vegas...

So my fighter won his first fight by armbar in the first round. He had a Rani Yahya style and just went for takedown after takedown after takedown all failed except for one. All those failed takedown attempts really gassed him in the fight. Now His energy is way down and his cut to weight has gone from 145.9 to 148 which is above the limit for his weight class. How do I fix this? Will supplements help his energy be brought up along with his cut weght to to lower? Will it sowly go back to 145.9 over time? or am I screwed and will now have to face oversized lightweights for the rest of his career?
