INTERVIEW WITH “IRON FIST” JASON ROGERS: Interviewer: Jason, you had an amazing fight Saturday night against Kamala Naamahaara for the WFL Heavyweight Title, and fell short due to a cut on your face. How do you feel following your performance? Rogers: Well obviously a loss is disappointing, especially a title shot…but we put on a hell of a show for the fans, and that has always been my ultimate goal in MMA, to be a “fan friendly” fighter. Looking back I could have upped my aggression a little bit once I had him hurt, and I probably would have finished him in the third round. In the end man….it is what it is; I’ve got mad respect for the champion. Interviewer: Let’s talk about that cut, because you got cut very early in the fight, which ultimately led the ref to stop the fight right at the end of the fourth round. Rogers: Yeah look man, I’ve been through wars in this sport….I’m 32 years old and have been around for awhile. Unfortunately I got split open some early on and developed this scar tissue that cuts easily when hit. If you look at my TKO losses, I’ve only really been knocked out a couple of times….the rest have been ref stops. Interviewer: Do you feel you would have won the fight without the cut? Rogers: Who knows man….I know two things: he was up on the score cards but I had him badly hurt with a cut of his own. Interviewer: You’ve had a long, entertaining career, where do you go from here? Rogers: I’m gonna rest up, then get my ass back in the gym and get ready for the next fight. I don’t stress too much about this shit man….when I got the call to join the WFL, I was in semi-retirement working at my manager’s gym in St. Pete as a boxing sparring partner, helping the new kids develop their standup game. I know I’m not a top-ten guy and I’m never gonna be at my age, but when you put me in the cage….I’ve got one thing in mind, throwing leather at your face. People underestimate me because of my record, but I’ve put a lot of dudes’ lights out early in the first round throughout my career…and I don’t intend to change my style. Interviewer: Would you want a rematch? Rogers: Of course! After I get another win or two, I’d love to have another crack at the champ! But for now, the WFL can line then up and I will knock them down!

Totally agree....love owning a gym but would love to have "more to do" with it.

I agree with this....being in the Apple App Store and Google Play would probably come with a sizable boost in new membership.

Is there any possibility of a MMA Tycoon mobile app coming out anytime in the future? I know we can view the site on mobile browsers, but it isn't really optimized for mobile usage. I tend to want to check things out on the fly and a mobile app would be perfect. Hadn't seen it asked before so just figured I would ask

Yeah I agree....it is slightly annoying to have to completely leave the screen to change views.

Hi Davy, I'd be interested in joining an alliance. I've been VIP since November, have 12 fighters and own a pretty successful public gym in St. Pete(Warrior BJJ and Fitness). I'd like to take my game to the next level and an alliance may help me do so!

Hello, My gym, Warrior BJJ and Fitness out of St Pete hasn't gained any revenue today; the finances still show the same as yesterday. Since today is Thursday, I am wondering if this is a glitch? Thanks
