  1. The only problem I see with Condit is his takedown defense. He was taken down at will by a completely exhausted Hendricks. You can't let that happen and win fights.
  2. I guess I'm not sure what you mean. This basically would be to shield managers who don't know all their owners well against jerk owners. Also would serve org owners in getting them their signing bonus back when someone drops a fighter to FA when their under contract. It also affects anyone who wants to pick up an FA because there would no longer be FA's already under contracts so they could shop around.
  3. Block org owners from being able to buy out their own contracts. Force them to go to their org page and release their own fighters to avoid that. Unless there was a different way you were thinking.
  4. http://prntscr.com/2aoovl I don't understand at all. So with recent changes 19 year olds depop worse than 35-40 year olds? Just seems crazy. I get it back up and and 2 days later it depops again.
  5. Just to clarify, the no release wouldn't be a contract option. No release would be a game update making it so nobody can sack a fighter who is under contract. They would have to buy their fighter out of the contract before being able to sack them. And I understand what you're saying but communication doesn't always work. The buyout would allow fighters who get into an org and realize they don't like the owner who was friendly before signing to have an out. Then if they get into an argument with an owner, we won't have a 3 page long post containing all the PM's and just slinging around insults because an owner is holding the fighter hostage. A similar option would be if org owners don't want to put another number into a contract, it could just be manually defaulted to having to pay back the signing bonus before leaving the contract. Go to my contracts maybe and have there be a button that says buyout contract. What I will say is that there are 2 situations this button should be hidden and fighters shouldn't be able to buyout contracts. That's when they have a fight booked obviously and the other one is if they're champion of the organization. All champions will have to fight out their entire contract if they keep winning or lose the title to buyout. So in the end this would stop FA picking where people drain the cash and sign them to orgs for 1/1/1 and then release a good fighter. This would also stop some of the complaining threads about holding fighters hostage and it will stop org owners complaints that someone released a fighter who went to FA and he paid a huge signing bonus. It would stop the complaints of people picking up fighters off of the FA and the owner wanting them to honor out their 1/1/1 contract. It just has a TON of upsides and from what I can tell few downsides.
  6. So, reading an improvement thread I thought it would be a good idea to implement a new number in a contract. The number would be a contract buyout. It would allow you to pay whatever the buyout agreed upon between fighter and org to be paid at any time the fighter was free of a fight and be let go. And then we can stop allowing people to cut fighters under contract. Therefore the result of such would be a person signs a contract, a person decides he doesn't want to fight there anymore or that he wants to drop the fighter. He now must pay back whatever fee was agreed upon (could use signing bonus number, could be a larger number or smaller number) before being able to release the fighter. This will end the age of hostage holding, it will end the age of picking up FA's, signing crap contracts to orgs and releasing with the only intention being of screwing over the next manager to pick him up and it would end the age old BS of he dropped his guy and I didn't get my money back. Just seems to me like a 3 birds with 1 stone scenario.
  7. I was told that fighting doesn't reset tickers after the last changes but I'm not sure. That's a question for someone a lot better than me at the game.
  8. I haven't trained them since creation. And I knew depops were based off of training now, I just checked training and saw 4 depops and thought it was overkill and wondered what everyone's thought on it was.
  9. http://prntscr.com/29a5a4 19 year old with around 1400 skill points. Now the question is do you think it's overkill for 19 year olds with so little skill points to depop on 4 skills during one session? My opinion is that I think it is. There should be a freeze point until you get to a certain age or a certain skill point range, or whichever limit reaches first. Or maybe even only having 1 or 2 skills decrease in a single session instead of 4. What are your guys thoughts?
  10. Sad to hear. I wonder if it had anything to do with performance enhancers.
  11. Lol, I didn't even see that. I'm not very good with these forums. I was just trying to bump the story for more people to see it mainly. But thanks for the response and for pointing that out.
  12. No love for the write up? Lol
  13. http://i1010.photobucket.com/albums/af224/koala68/TommyGun2.jpg Tommy "Gun" Lucchese The Outfit [As the scene fades in, a dimly lit area is shown. Concrete surrounds two men resting in some comfortable chairs. On one side, an interviewer sits showcasing fear as he continues to check behind his back from time to time. His constant movement gives the impression of uncomfort while he waits. On the other side, Tommy "Gun" Lucchese appears, calm and collected as he sits back with his hands resting gently on the arms of the chair. Suddenly, the interviewer takes a swallow and begins to speak.] "Tommy "Gun" Lucchese..." states the interviewer attempting to address the man across from him. However, Tommy decides to interrupt and speaks with a traditional mobster voice sounding like he came straight out of the movie The Godfather "Please Mike, just call me Tommy." The interviewer now known as Mike loosens his tie real quick and continues on. "Ok, Tommy. In 11 days the Gangs of New York tournament begins and you're representing The Outfit. You face Carlos Marion of The Canuck Capos. How do you see this ending up?" Tommy thinks briefly before responding. After the moment, Tommy sighs and speaks "Mike, when Carlos and I meet, the only thing that's certain is that it will not be cordial. I have no issues with tearing his limbs off and shoving them down his throat. Afterwards, I'll move on to the next." Mike, enjoying the answer begins to get comfortable. He sits forward himself and begins to speak with confidence. "Ok Tommy, the Gangs of New York tournament is an interesting topic. Many fear that with the histories of the families involved that it won't end with all the members it began with..." Again, Tommy interrupts Mike but his calm and content demeanor begins to seem more annoyed. Tommy sits up in his chair intertwining his fingers in front if him and Mike flinches with each separate movement. "Alright Mike, I'm beginning to not like where this is going." Mikes comfort immediately ends as his eyes open wide and he glues himself back against the chair once more. Tommy continues to speak. "Let me say this Mike, if you're insinuating that I've done or am prepared to do something illegal on camera I will say that I'm an honest man who does honest work. I don't like these accusations that you bring into my basement. I think I'm ready to be done with this interview.Mike turns around to see two large men approaching him. He yells in fear "But, you said you'd tear his limbs off and..." Tommy interjects "Figure of speech Mike, figure of speech." Mike still in fear now has two large sets of arms cradling his shoulders and lifting him out of the chair. "I'M SORRY... PLEASE NO..." yells Mike as he squirms to break free. While squirming, his leg kicks up and hits the camera with force causing the scene to turn to complete static. [To be continued... maybe!]
