  1. He's already killed the legend, wrapped it in plastic, chopped it up and taken it to the tip. However he remains the worlds most dangerous man behind the wheel of a car.
  2. Maybe split the training time by city? Though I understand that would take a fair bit of work to implement.. it would be neat if the fighters I have on my timezone to have their Monday PM session on Monday instead of ~7AM Tuesday. Voted for +30 though.
  3. Lets not lump all Japanese promotions in with FEG (DREAM/K-1). There is a possibility that he can't fight again or asked for his release.
  4. Ignoring the ridiculous takedown into mount (which lasted no time anyway), Peppers took that round without issue imo - striking was close but he stuffed a bunch of TDs and controlled ground position.
  5. Some guys can take over 100 shots to the head from a hard hitter and just not go down sometimes, at a guess I'm gonna say that your guy probably doesn't have the best KO power but by the same token the other guy probably has a strong chin.
  6. Given Dana didn't blast him for being "fucking unprofessional" or similar I'm going with it's actually medical related and not drug related.
  7. Jones vs a top 10 guy who doesn't gas walking to the cage is an interesting fight. Rampage however is one of the least exciting opponents for Jones; he's not good from his back and as Rashad showed he can be taken down assuming you don't telegraph the shot so much a near blind yak farmer in Tibet could see it coming (looking at you here, Hamill) - on the other hand he's quite difficult to clinch-toss and has a fairly effective striking game (and seemed to me to be checking kicks against Hamill). I've got Jones winning but I could see a game planning fail leading to a Rampage win.
  8. Werdum wasn't even turning his hip into the vast majority of the shots he threw, most of them were arm punches regardless of what fight metric may claim. The only strikes he threw with any power were the knees, and even they didn't seem to register at all with Overeem. And if a guy elects to fall on his ass every time the other guy gets his hands on him, he should expect for it to be considered a knockdown.
  9. How the hell does landing a few more pitter patter shots and getting knocked down repeatedly constitute winning the striking aspect of a fight?
  10. I believe Strength is somewhat important also.
  11. Werdum showed Overeems weakness standing by flopping to his back every time Overeem landed a remotely significant punch.
  12. Can't expect to win by failing TDs all night and flopping on your back every time you get hit.
  13. That's entirely dependent on what kind of Internet you have. A friend of mine had the same IP address for over 2 years despite countless router resets (it only changed when he switched plans to run off different infrastructure). Admittedly we're in Australia so perhaps ours is different.
  14. You are saying "OVEREEM DEFINITELY USES STEROIDS OR HGH" what I am saying is "That may be the cause, but the opposite is also perfectly plausible and as there is no definite evidence one way or the other I will give him the benefit of the doubt".
  15. You get a few more in-game years out of fighter A at the peak of his skill set than you do of fighter B, which means more experience if they both meet at say.. 28 or 25. Depending on how much impact Injuries have on a fighters lifespan that means that 1. He gets to fight sooner in his career, so he gets a better experience hidden at the same age. 2. He could earn more money due to having more fights at the peak of his potential. So you don't get a better peak level, but you have your peak for longer and get to build experience. Is it an ideal hidden? perhaps not, but it still does give an advantage.
  16. If you can get 4x Elite then everyone is going to be identical (or close to it). If you can get 4x Remarkable then some people will go the well rounded route, while others might try for Elite Boxing and drop some of another skill (or skills) and wind up with say Elite/Respectable/Remarkable/Proficient.
  17. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps the sparring group split mechanic could be improved.. perhaps you could just get the average score of the nearest 4/5/6 fighters to each fighters own skill level instead of hard splitting the groups - in a session of say 12 guys it'd really freaking suck for the 6th best guy in the session.
  18. As a rule in any remotely sane logical thinking system it's the person making the claim (i.e. you) that needs some actual concrete proof.
  19. Justin Eilers is a worse fighter than Brett Rogers.. who also got a title shot in a shallow division coming off a loss (to a pretty bad fighter at that).

    Bodyshots

Yeah... now I can see why low/mid kicks are perhaps a bit on the strong side in this game - in reality you sometimes see telegraphed (but successful) low/mid kicks get countered with a punch, combo or being caught and tripped.
  21. I share a real name with a fatass male pop singer, to me that's a valid reason I've used Erik as an alias forever, I initially started using it after 9/11 when being called "Random Terror" started catching me an assload of hate on some forums - pretty sure I took it from Eric Ragnar in the Warhammer PC games of the 90s then butchered it to end in a K.

    Bodyshots

I don't think having an extremely low TKO rate on Body Shots (I'm talking less than .1 of a % on a tired opponent for instance) is going to stop people throwing head strikes. That said, I am no slider wizard. Unrelated though, am I correct in assuming fighters can't counter off successful strikes?
