  5. GENERATION 42 Coming Oct 8th to the H2O Arena in London: G #42: Ng vs Jebe II for the Bantamweight Title! Let’s start with the undercard: Light Heavyweight: “JR Superstar” Ja Wuan Robinson vs Yuri Boyka His name is JR Superstar fighting for The Million Dollar Man, so, at least we all know where he is coming from. JR Superstar started in Hardcore Fighting Championship in St. Petersburg where he once held the Light Heavyweight belt. He first appeared in Generation at G#29 where he beat Joe Columbu by second round TKO. He may look like a pro wrestler, but JR is one of the best boxers around. He has a 7-3 career record with 6 coming by way of KO/TKO. He does like to get in some man hugging in the clinch and was able to get back to his feet quickly when Columbu took him down, so, he does have some Dibiase in him after all. Yuri “Hands of Stone” Boyka hails from St. Petersburg, but came to Generation from King of the Beach on time for G#32 where he beat Desmond Bradley by second round TKO. He dropped a three round decision to Hector Stefan his last time out at G#37. Boyka is a talented boxer and Muay Thai fighter who also tends to like the grapple. In his two previous Generation fights, he has liked to take the fight to the clinch and has been known to go for a takedown on occasion. This seems like a classic matchup of boxing vs Muay Thai. Of course, here in Generation it is never really that simple as both guys can grapple, and JR Superstar often uses that boxing skill in the clinch to good effect. I would expect this one to spend a decent amount of time in the clinch and for there to be some sore faces after being beat on for a few rounds. Welterweight: Bessarion Alexius vs “The Border Fox” Patrick Cleary Bessarion Alexius is a 24-year-old with an 11-5 career record, and is 2-1 so far in Generation. He most recently beat Parker Allen by first getting an early takedown and beating him out in ground and pound. At G#34 he lost a tough fought five round decision to Yngve Stolt where he managed a few takedowns, but could not keep the fight on the ground long enough to get the nod. Alexius is a ground and pound wrestler who likes to pound people into dust(or so I have heard..may just be a rumor). The Border Fox made his Generation debut at G#28 coming over from Victory!. He has rolled off two straight wins over Liber Alderich and Alan Ford so far. The Border Fox is a black belt in BJJ, and five of his nine career wins have been by submission. The Border Fox also uses his BJJ skills to pound some flesh in the ground and pound, and he did score his first career TKO with an overhand right from standing against Alderich early in the third round. Now, they may cross us up and both decide to settle this one in an old fashioned bar brawl (which would be pretty cool by the way), but using my expert analysis I will guess that this one may spend a bit of time on the ground. One of the best wrestlers around vs one of the best uh..jiu-jitzuers? If you like to watch ground fighting then this is the one for you..unless the bar brawl thing happens…then you are out of luck…but that is probably obvious. Welterweight: Zadimus Delacroix vs Liber “The Killer” Alderich Zadimus is an old timer by Generation standards. He is a 31 year old with a 15-7 career record who spent his early days on the Island. After leaving the Island he came here to London and has been fighting in Highland Games. That brings him here to his..da da daaa!..Generation debut! Zadimus is a boxer with 15 of his 15 wins coming by KO/TKO. He just hates judges folks, can you blame him? Four of his 22 career fights have gotten past round 1. He REALLY hates judges folks. The Killer has a 1-2 record so far in Generation with his most recent appearance ending early when Loke Westlund’s fist met his chin with too much force. On his better days Alderich is a very talented all around fighter who can take the fight to the ground and and likes to go for the submission. In his three round decision over Avsketij he was able to control the fight on the ground for most of the fight and dominated on the scorecards for the decision win. It may not be the best sign that Zadimus specializes in early knockouts and The Killer has been recently knocked out early, but we have not seen Zadimus in Generation yet, and The Killer is a very strong standup fighter in his own right. Now, it should be pointed out that it isn’t a great sign for Zadimus that his last two fights ended in the first round on the ground with him being on the bad side of things. This fight is likely to be decided early (again, you really can’t get this insight elsewhere folks), but just who enforces their will remains to be seen. Light Heavyweight Title: Iosue Nicu vs Cingeto Ysengrin Iosue Nicu is the reigning Light Heavyweight Champion. He has been in Generation since G#11 and has a 5-2 record here with a 15-3 record overall. Iosue missed on his first title shot by first round KO to Jake Blake at G#24. He followed that up by knocking out Sameh Mahmoud at G#33 by flying knee, and was able to take the belt from Master Blaster with a second round TKO at G#37. Nicu is a strong Muay Thai fighter, but he prefers to kick things rather than man hug. He has not tried a clinch yet in Generation, so I am guessing that is not his thing. 13 of his 15 wins have been by KO or TKO including all of his Generation wins (and losses). Watch for flinging arms and legs when Iosue is on the card. “Hyper” Cingeto Ysengrin has a name that should sound a bit familiar. I am guessing this kid can fight. Hyper is a 24-year-old with an 8-2 career record who fought in G#1 before spending some time at King of the Beach. He came back for G#28 and has been rolling since. Hyper is riding a six fight win streak and is 3-0 in Generation. Hyper has been known to take the fight to the clinch, but he seems happiest when his feet and fists are harming people from a distance. He is a very strong kickboxer who may get to showcase that talent vs Iosue (again, hard to find this expert insight people). Iosue can probably fight in the clinch, and will this be the fight he breaks out the secret weapon? Am I just making a random prediction so I can look smart if he does? Do you care? Of course you care deeply, that last one was just a test. Cingeto isn’t likely to be afraid of an old-fashioned kickboxing match (is kickboxing old?..ah I don’t feel like googling it), and this has all the markings of a highly rated slobberknocker (that means that some limbs will be swung toward faces, stomachs and legs, often and with intent). Bantamweight Title: Charles Ng vs Zurgadai “The Arrow” Jebe Charles Ng, who I am sure is innocent (ok, I am not sure), has spent his entire seven fight career here at Generation. Aww, he was just a wee little serial killer when he first arrived…how fast they grow up..*sniff*. Anyway, none of those fights have gone the distance with three by KO, three by TKO and one by armbar. He won the belt over Zurgadai at G#33 defended it with a second round TKO over Mii Stipe at G#37. The Arrow has an 11-3-1 overall record and has been with Generation since the start at G#1. He had to wait all the way until G#2 to get his hands on the belt, but then he defended it successfully six times before the loss to Ng. This being a re-match we are saving some room to talk about the previous fight. Jebe was having the best of the stand-up early in round one. The fight then moved briefly to the clinch before Jebe scored the takedown. While Jebe seemed to dominate on the judges scorecard in round one, Ng was trying for the submission late in the round. Round 2 was fairly similar to the first with the one major difference being that once the fight got to the ground Ng was able to catch Jebe in an armbar and the belt was passed to Ng who was in guard on the bottom. Jebe is a very strong standup fighter, and he is an elite wrestler. Ng likes to go for the submission whenever he finds himself on the ground, and while he has only succeeded once, in fairness, that was the only fight he was pushed hard enough to need to win by submission. Is it something he can pull off again? It will be interesting to see what if any effect changing strategies have on this fight. Jebe still seems to be the stronger fighter, but Ng has never lost and I am sure isn’t planning to start now. This is a huge matchup of two great young fighters.

  7. Let's not make this too complicated, just 2 or 3 active + unbiased users who basically decide on what avatars get through etc. If it's a tricky one then wait until Mike gets on but i'm sure he will brief these potential helpers on specific requirements.
  8. -20 or not Hart Foundation are the obvious weak link in the tournament and stand no chance getting through
  9. yea it's been suggested in the past and i'm sure people would be up for helping Mike out. Waiting 1 week for acceptance in a long time for something that takes like 10 secodns
  10. We would like to know what's happening with the inactive fighter before we make our picks to crush the Hart Foundation. I wonder if Mickey will balls up and take me on, i'll even pay him his award if he manages to win

  23. No where near as bad. OP got fucked by poor judging you got KTFO by a scrub lol. Still OP you shouldn't be complaining really, yes you got royally fucked over by the judges but your opp came in with 0 energy and how you didn't finish him is quite funny tbh. My guess is escapes score waaay more than they should do. And when all that really happens is you get a takedown he escapes the points go towards escapes, something that should be altered.
