How do you do an IQ test for your fighters?

So im new to the game and learning as i go, and I was curious about the Island and its being kinda separated from the rest of the game. I just created an Island fighter ( http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=278977 ) so i could see what its all about. I figured I had the 5th slot to play with so I might as well use it. Question is, is it to late to have a chance at doing well over here? It looks like its half way through the season and I assumed everything is kinda established.

New manager here hoping to do well. My real name is Sean, im 44 and living in North Carolina. Really liking the game so far, seems pretty realistic. A little tough figuring out some of this stuff but ill get the hang of it.
