  1. My guys is only 9k older than yours, but he is close to peaked. I'm dissapointed in your guys wrestling. He's a clinch fighter get that wrestling up ASAP!!
  2. I almost quit the game because I had 15 fighters and had to change their GODAMM clothes all the time. Got an assistant and now I LOVE the game. Arranging flights, with the different time zones and everything for 15+ fighters. Am I after a degree in logistics or am I in it for the fun? Population have EXPLODED with locations turned off, 90% of all people think it should be turned off, this is not a democracy but.... you have to respect the numbers. You just have to. Flying should be required for training and other things.
  3. It's not a secret. Locations for fights should be off permanently but so should auto-booked flights.
  4. Great plan I am 100% in. Will bring 2-3 guys. All heavyweights that is my speciality. I will dominate the shit out of that division. Just as I am dominating the shit out of everybody with this KT monster: http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=292464 (check his last fight if u want to see impressive stats!!)
  5. This is an advanced question but I'd like to know, is there "counter" stand up? When your fighter tries to stand up from the ground, does that only come from aggression? Or can it be done as a counter to say a failed guard pass?
  6. sounds good. 205 & 265 are extremely popular so we gotta have them for sure.
  7. Or can you do it as a counter move? This image seems to say it's from aggression: http://www.mmatycoon.info/index.php?title=Image:Ground_hierarchy.gif
  8. On another note, Mike should be much better about announcing the start of the Island. Mass mail everybody in the game a couple weeks before it begins with a start date. Even 2-3 months before would be good but 2-3 weeks also perfect.
  9. This is an amazing idea because you can create 18 year olds since you peak so fast in KT. If you make a KT island org I will come with 2-3 fighters. Obviously, 18 year olds are WAY more fun once the season is over, you can transition into MMA!
  10. Yeah it was stupid. One armed clinch? Wtf? The fighters kept going for the normal clinch because it's all musle memory, and the judge had to stop them all the time. Better to forbid the clinch alltogether. But then it's kickboxing and not K1, you know. Then call it kickboxing, don't call it something else. Ubereem won K1, that bastard. AND his ground game was good. How talented was he jesus christ? He had perfect energy managment, which is rare for a heavyweight and extremely important.
  11. Ya he's one of the best examples. He was so good they even changed THE RULES of K1. They made the two-armed clinch illegal.
  12. Advanced stuff. "Ground top" should decrease strike/sub % from the bottom and improve advance position. Ground bottom would do the reverse. I always set my GnP'ers to high ground top, that is correct then.
  13. There's quite a few KO by knees in UFC actually especially if you count flying knees. So you can't say it doesn't happen in reality. Knee specialist means you uses punches too, not just knees of course.
  14. I just want to say that dmg/accuracy should be increased for knees and elbows. Maybe more knees than elbows. Maybe boost dmg and accuracy 1-2%? That's very reasonable.
  15. Dropping this guy he's very effective http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=271494
  16. Ya it seems they aren't worth their points actually. Better to have kicks than elbows almost even if you are a clinch specialist. Elbows gives a slight advantage but having kick as oppose to not having them gives a BIG advantage in striking range. I think the fact that so few top p4p fighter have elbows or knees at elite is very telling. I don't mind punches being effective in the clinch though. In reality it's not that effective. Carwin killed Frank Mir with pounches clinched against the cage, but that's is so incredibly rare. I like that you can train a clinch fighter who only uses punches and then he's good at a distance too. I think fun is worth more than reality in this game.
  17. Been lookin at the rankings lately, and I've been trying to find a knee specialist. Haven't found any. With that I mean elite muay thai elite knees and a clincher, who wins fights in the clinch. MMA, not KT. There aren't a lot of knee specialists in the highest rankings. Maybe the game engine should boost knees with 1-2%?
  18. I accept that because you burn all your energy. I'd be REALLY upset if you did that and won a decision. Then I'd be mad as hell.
  19. http://www.mmatycoon.info/index.php?title=Image:Ground_hierarchy.gif Ground "Top" should decrease the chance of a finish move like strike/sub but increase the chance of a improve position move. That word "control" doesn't belong.
  20. Reading this: Fighting after cutting weight Your fighter will bulk back up to their original weight come fight time. This will give him the benefits you would expect of being larger (stronger etc), but if he has cut a LOT of weight, he will be drained. He will have less energy come fight time and due to the loss of fluid around his brain during weight cutting, he may also be easier to knock out. In short, it is a delicate balancing act. ////// Is that talking about that extra pound and 2 hours in the sauna? Or is it talking about any large wight cut???
