I am agreeing with Mentor but the last two or three years have shown that public voting is not an option unfortunatelly. Humors will try to mess with the awards, he can still get a deciding 10-15 votes from vip newbies, even if you count the vip votes only. If you can come up with completely bulletproof rules for public voting then we are all ears. But since people act like children, should either skip the awards to avoid all that bullshit or do a commitee and whatever the commitee decides.

The 5 votes rule is applied regardless of the nominee's alliance. I mean if 10 people from LOD vote for John Coffey, then only 5 votes would count.

Getting energy advantage over your opponent is very important for getting a finish. It has happened to me to get a KO with 100% accuracy at lower weights(where it is harder to get a KO) just because my fighter somehow managed to gain 20-30% energy advantage. Only thing that could overcome a solid energy disadvantage is good hiddens vs bad hiddens.

Fight Rules and Setting Sliders There are no strikes in the TWGC. TWGC fights start on the feet. You don't need to worry about any of the standup sliders to remove punches, kicks etc - the fight engine will automatically remove those slider settings. You can however, set your fighter to clinch, be aggressive or counter, pull guard, allow takedowns etc. On the ground there are no strikes and no standups. Again, these are automatically removed from the slider settings by the fight engine. Think it was made like that intentionally so not an error.
