MMA World! MuscleWorks Fight Club (New York) is going to host a 135lb tournament. 24-man tournament, should be starting withing the month (hopefully). This is the tournament concept: Group Stage Phase 1 4 x 6 man groups (Each fights each other once) Top 2 in each group automatically reach Phase 2 3rd Place in each group face off in a playoff to get through. (Top points vs least points and second best points vs third) Any ties in points will be judged in the following order (Most K.O's, Most Subs, Rounds Won) - All in tournament only. Group Stage Phase 2 2 x 5 man groups decided by (1st GROUP A, 1st GROUP C, 2nd GROUP B, 2nd GROUP D, WINNER PLAYOFF 1 (1st GROUP B, 1st GROUP D, 2nd GROUP A, 2nd GROUP C, WINNER PLAYOFF 2 Top 2 in each group qualify for Semi-Finals. Any ties in points will be judged in the following order (Most K.O's, Most Subs, Rounds Won) - All in tournament only. Semi Finals Winner Group A vs Runner Up Group B Winner Group B vs Runner Up Group A Final Winner SF1 vs Winner SF2 Tournament Rules Fighter must be of ID 210k+, Between 18-23 years old, and able to make weight at 135lbs. Fighters will be asked to fight once every 3 weeks, even if they are cut/injured, for a minimum of 5 fights in the tournament. Even if the fighter is disqualified, he will be asked to fulfill his contract and keep fighting against other disqualified fighters. Training will be allowed during tournament. Any ties in points or results will be judged in the following order (Most K.O's, Most Subs, Rounds Won) - All in tournament only. In case of a no contest, the fighter who didn’t make the weight or location will get the loss, other fighter will claim a win. If a fighter declines or doesn’t accept a fight, his opponent automatically gets a win Tournament Prizes Winner of the tournament will be crowned champion of the MWFC’s 135 division and will be offered a 10k/15k/15k contract, along with free gym membership at MuscleWorks Amsterdam for life!. His manager will receive 75k. Runner-up will be offered a 8k/10k/10k contract. His manager will receive 45k. All other fighters who complete their minimum 5-fight tournament contract, each fighter will be offered a 4k/4k/4k contract. Each manager will recieve 5k.

We decided that the best way for it right now would be to develop a ID restricted division with every fighter that was above the ID 200k. We're looking for all sorts of talent to fill this division at get it rolling. As soon as we reach a good amount of fighter, depending on their skills and all stuff, we might create a tournament to crown our new champion. We're just waiting for all of your young bucks coming over to fight in one of the biggest organizations in the game. LA Combat is converting its 135 lb division into an ID-restricted KT only division. To kick it off, we are running a tournament. It will be a creation tournament with 18 yo fighters, you can train them, and the creation date will be set once we have enough entrants. The winner will be named champion. Fights will be every three weeks once the tournament begins, and it will likely begin about a month after the creation date. Should we get 16 participants, the winner will get $150,000, second place will get $75,000, and third will get $25,000. If we only get eight entrants, those values will be halved.
