The Ysengrin Clan A family of Wolves. Originating from the dark Forests of Germany, family means everything to the patriarch of the clan, “Papa” Knut Ysengrin. He was adopted at birth, left by his mother to be cared for by another. He lived the life of Johnny Justice until he was 27. The 30th of November he received a phone call from Michael Brakeley who had somehow found out Johnny’s birth mother was sick and needed to say her goodbyes to her son. He was told of his real family, his name was Knut and his family had descended from an ancient line of Germanic nobles, whose banner to battle was the Wolf, Ysengrin. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w4.jpg Knut found the man caring for his mother all these years was a younger brother named Artur, known as der Bär. He decided he would take him with him, for family was everything to him now. Knut threw off his former name and embraced his new one, he had made many mistakes in the past, travelling the world as an MMA fighter he often found solace with various women and he had neglected the offspring of these follies. He went searching for them, his first destination was the shores of Italy, in Mondragone. Upon arriving he heard church bells ringing and the cries of child’s play. He walked up to the whorehouse he visited so many years ago, he did his best to suppress the urge to pay a few of them for their services. He was about to ask for Elena when he heard commotion outside. An elderly man was chasing a young stud through the streets shouting out to him. The young man turned around and quickly grappled with the old fool. A half naked girl came running behind them looking to separate the two. Knut thought he recognised the young one and stepped in to help, he kicked the old man away and lifted the young boy up who had a grin on his face. Elena at this point came out of the brothel and slapped this young man, throwing money to the old man. Knut found out this young man was his son, Giacomo and he had a reputation for shagging anyone and taking the maidenheads from nearly all the girls in town. After Knut spoke to him, he wanted to play a larger part in his life and offered to teach him the ways to become a man by teaching him martial arts, his only condition was to adopt the name Ysengrin and train with him in LA. Giacomo quickly accepted. Elena was happy to have trouble off her hands and said to Knut he must also take their other son, Franco. Knut found Franco kneeling at the altar of the church, dressed in the simple robes of a monk. Knut told him he was his father and Franco denied it, looking at this barbaric looking man being his father. Eventually after intervention from his mother, he too agreed to go with Knut. His reasoning was he may spread the word of God throughout LA and the world. After sending Artur, Giacomo, and Franco to LA, Knut headed for England. His earliest known experience was with an English bar maid. He found her still working in the same pub and Knut thought she still had it, still had the appeal that drew her to him in the first place. He did not want to ruin the moment and ask her about his child, so he ordered a beer, and another and another. He woke up the next morning with her nakedness on his skin. That’s when Dave walked in. A posh boy dressed up like a chav. He was appalled at what he saw and he stood there with his mouth gaping. Knut offered him the chance to train, Dave was already old, 25 at this point but eager to learn. His learning is hindered through his frequent visits to the hookers of LA. He has had one fight so far against Fook Man, he showed a dominating wrestling game scoring a takedown in each round and kept position. After taking a shot to his nut-sack early in round 1 he got angry that he wouldn’t be able to celebrate that night. Landing over 90 ground strikes to the head of Man, Giacomo decided he needed to work on his strength. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14113745383445.png Franco “The Preacher” was sent off to fight for Darkness in Helsinki for a tournament. After a disappointing loss in his first fight in which he was too fervent in his belief of God and over-exerted himself going for the finish. He moved onto the loser’s bracket. With 2 weeks to prepare for his fight against Dean Ambrose, Knut decided it was best for him to stop praying and train for this fight. It payed off as Franco won via KO with a jab, Franco put it down to the power God has instilled in him. He is fighting Corey Terror in the next round, but Franco has drawn the ire of another combatant in the Darkness Tournament, Chris Lancier. A rivalry there is brewing due to Franco’s belief he is on earth to spread the word and teachings of God, something Lancier disagrees with. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w34.jpg Artur “der Bär” is still in training after a slow start to is career, but he has a fight tonight against Gilbert Sanchez hoping to use his unique skill set to get a finish. “Papa” Knut is still fighting, now for CCF in LA. He may soon take a step back from fighting and work on training his family in the hopes that they dominate the MMA scene for years to come. He has also taken on the “Papa” role at the Alpha Elite Training gym, with the likes of Khal Drogo, Tormund Giantsbane and the notorious Geralt of Riva all training there under the tutelage of Knut. Of course, the rise of all these fighters would not be possible without the management of Michael Brakeley backing them, who is aptly named The Wolf.

The people in Chicago in the early 20th century for sure will have known him. He was a high-level member of a Chicago maffia family. After getting arrested in 1965, he was somehow able to impregnate a young female inmate. Nine months later, their son was born in a prison toilet. The child got adopted by a young couple from Italy that had been looking to get a child for years, but had had no succes so far. The boy, Marco, would live on as the father of one of the biggest talents MMA these days knows... Brady Battaglia! Under the burning sun in Tuscany, Brady worked on the fields to help his parents make some money. Hard work soon paid of , as he got stronger and stronger. What most people didn't know was that his father was a gambling addict and was loaning money from some Italian mobsters. We all know that this meant trouble! The maffia family soon realised that Marco Battaglia would never be able to pay of his debts, and gave him a surprise visit. Two unarmed men, bodybuilder types, beat the father up. Brady heard his fathers screams and ran as fast as he could back to the house. When he arrived, his father was on the floor in a pool of blood. In pure rage, Brady was able to KO the first guy with some heavy punches and then took the back of the second man and submitted him. He didn't let go of the choke until he heard the man's last breath of air. The head of the maffia family that ordered the hit on Marco Battaglia soon heard the news and didn't react in the way most expected. He actually called a friend and told him there was a kid who was really good at fighting and that his friend, a local gym owner, should try to get him to train at his gym. From there on out, everything went superfast. Brady Battaglia decided that punching a heavybag, choking out people and kicking their heads of could be the ideal therapy to get over the tragedy of his father's death. At the age of 18, Brady got awarded the nickname " The Italian Stallion". HIs coach decided to test him in a fight to see how he would deal with the stress of a cage fight. After a close first round, Brady was able to submit his opponent with a beautiful Kimura in the second round; Fight orgs were soon after fighting to get him sign a contract. Darkness FC won that battle and was able to sign this top talent. In his first outing for the org, he would earn a decisive unanimous decision victory over his opponent who also made his debut. In his second fight for the org, he made quick work of his opponent and submitted him by triangle choke after just 2minutes 31 in the first round. Brady " The Italian Stallion" Battaglia has made a big name for himself already so early on in his career. His manager Liam Davidson told me that Brady is looking better and better each day, and that he is training his but off.
