Ascension : Devil's Revenge http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/knockdown.gif al Din drops Grossman with a hook right on the temple. Grossman has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! al Din smells blood and charges in for the finish! al Din unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Grossman sending him face first to the canvas! Taj al Din! _______________________________________________________________________________________ "It's best to conquer adversity with an iron fist and a gallon of excellence." Ascension: Nova Era al Din scores with a decent looking hook. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/rocked.gif Kenji is rocked! http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/cut.gif Kurokawa Kenji's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. al Din throws a push kick but Kenji slaps the foot to one side. Kenji is still on wobbly legs! Can al Din finish him? al Din looks to land a combination but Kenji avoids it well. Kenji seems to have recovered his senses. al Din fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kenji. al Din fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/knockdown.gif al Din drops Kenji with a beautiful combination! Kenji stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - al Din is looking for the KO! The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kurokawa Kenji's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout! Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Taj al Din! This one is all over! Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taj al Din! Taj al Din is the new light heavyweight champion! Taj al Din took some time post fight to say the following; "When a defining moment comes along, you can do 1 of 2 things. Define the moment, or let the moment define you. Ladies & gents, give it up for Yance Sackett!" (raises the former champs hand in the air & the crowd goes wild) "You have the heart of a warrior mate. Respect. Let's burn one down." _______________________________________________________________________________________ "Ascension and Geezer's Palace merged, I beat their champion." Hickok misses with a left hand and al Din counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Hickok badly! al Din follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Hickok out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Taj al Din finished him against the cage. Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Taj al Din! "I earned my way back to the title..." al Din lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Manoel - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for al Din! Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Taj al Din! "I have fought on the biggest stages of the game, from the LA Coliseum to the Wombley Arena. I cleared the division and moved to another top 10 organization to take on their champ, AJ Hearts. We fought. He wrestled. I prevailed." al Din cracks Hearts with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hearts tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but al Din pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taj al Din! "I respect Womba's submission ability. He's one of the best in the world, but he's not the only fighter that can end the fight from his back." Axelsson is posturing up here but al Din has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Axelsson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Axelsson has to tap! Slick submission there by al Din! Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Taj al Din! "They say I need to watch out for Womba's guard, but I think he should beware of mine." http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/takedown.gif al Din successfully pulls guard. al Din keeping moving, preventing Archer from controlling successfully. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/sub.gif al Din is working for submissions here. Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 4, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Taj al Din! http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/sub.gif Vandalay is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but al Din has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Vandalay is looking to defend but al Din has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Vandalay! Taj al Din pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Vandalay taps out and this one is all over! Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Taj al Din! http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/sub.gif al Din has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McDonald should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Taj al Din has tightened it up now! McDonald should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over! Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Taj al Din! "We are two of the best fighters on the planet, it's a fight that the fans have wanted to see for a long time, and this is a fight that I have pushed for in the past. This will most likely go down as the biggest fight of both of our careers. Good luck Womba. You will need it. May the best man win, and we will burn one down when the dust settles."
  2. What’s Different? - Events Instead of holding this in one org, the heads of Evolution, Synchronicity, and Ascension have come up with a new format. Each of the orgs mentioned will host events for the specified divisions. Evolution will host events for 145, 170 and 265. S ynchronicity will handle events for 155, 185, 265+. Ascension will cover 135 and 205. -Medals Will still largely be the same, individual tourney with fights happening like so, 1 v 8, 2 v 7 etc. 1st place gets gold, 2nd silver, and 3rd will get bronze. Managers and Org awards will still be awards based on points. Everything else about the tourney will remain the same for the most part.. Fighters still compete for medals. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/3554/m38d.png Fighter Signups Each Division will have 8 spots available to the top 8 ranked fighter in that weightclass Depending on interest level this could be increased to 16 but for now it will be open to only 8. Each fighter that signs up will need to declare which Org they are representing. (just like Athletes represent their respective country in the real Olympics) Declaring an Org isn't mandatory, a fighter can be independent and fight w/o repping an org. Signups are located in Post #2. Matches All non medal fights will be 3 rounds with 5 minute fights except when in medal fights. All medal fights will be 5 rounds 5 minute fights. Contracts will be 10k base and win Schedule First round will start early to mid November. Rounds will take place every two weeks after that. How The Medals Will Work There will be three sets of medals awarded, for fighters, managers, and orgs. Individual medals will be awarded to fighters based on finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in each weightclass tourney, medals for managers will be based on the original point scoring system, and Orgs will have medals won by the fighters representing them tallied as if they were each a seperate country like in the real Olympics. Points Each fight will result in a KO, Submission, Decision/Split/Majority Win and Draw. After all the fights have been completed all points will be tallied up. KO or Submission = 3 points , Dec Win = 2 points , Draw = 1 and No Contest = -1 for offender, +1 for opponent Location Location for the 2013 games will be based in London for Evolution events and LA for Synchronicity and Ascension events. Prizes Fighters & Managers - Medals along with the bragging rights of being the best. Orgs - http://i.imgur.com/W0jmZ.gif If you would like to sponsor any prizes, be it clothing, supps, cash or whatever. Please post here and we will gladly accept it.

  4. Tycoon World Olympics http://imageshack.us/a/img5/6650/kqj2.png Pros 1. All Orgs participating in TWO get a shot at hosting under same rules. Evolution would be first since the tourney is their idea. 2. The host of next year’s TWO is decided by the result of this year’s TWO. NO org can host Tycoon World Olympics more than once in 3 years. If Evo is in first place this year and Ascension is 2nd, then Ascension will hold 2014 TWO. Evo won’t be able to host it again until 2016. If Ascension wins this year, Evo would still have to wait til 2016 to host again. 3. No energy loss/injury means the best can fight the best, along with not locking fighters up for a long amount of time. Cons 1. This would be unfair to non TWO tournies being ran like EPL, ITFL, or other various others. They have to account for injury and energy. 2. Weekly tourneys have been ran without this “no energy loss/no injury” feature for a long time (EPL for example) ***UPDATE*** As discussions have been going on, a slight change will be made. Now instead of one org hosting the event, the orgs hosting TWO will alternate after each round. This insures that when an org sends their TWO team, they get some from of compensation back.
