  1. In a not-so-distant dystopian future, President Donald J. Trump declares war on the NFL for it's lack of patriotism. Jerry Jones criticizes the U.S. President for his interference and they exchange in a twitter war that last 296 days. The NFL is divided as ratings spike, profits shrivel, and fingers are pointed. With sanctions looming Robert Kraft pledges his loyalty to President Trump and in exchange the Patriots are officially pardoned for Spy-Gate, Deflate-a-gate, and Aaron Hernandez. Donald Trump slaps sanctions on the entire NFC conference which cripples the economy and pushes the teams towards bankruptcy. Jerry Jones leads a collation against the U.S. President in an attempted coup d'état but is defeated in a battle of dimwits. http://whazupnaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/donald-trump-i-spoke-with-jerry-jones-were-cool-224x150.jpg The NFC conference is in shambles. It's forced to split from the NFL and become it's own entity due to the methodical and tactical destabilization of the U.S. President and his goonies in the Congress. The financial crisis forced every owner to declare bankruptcy and shut down all sport related operations. While the outside world watched the NFC implode from within, others saw opportunity. http://mmatycoon.com/images/manager_avatars/1377428407lol3.jpg A notoriously wealthy business mogul by the name of Chris Karter assembles a team of business tycoons, lawyers, and financial investors to purchase the rights to the defunct NFC conference. President Trump warns that he refuses to lift any sanctions against the NFC because he found the "teams and logos of his enemies of old offensive and unpatriotic". Bribes are paid, blackmail is suspected, and a deal is made. Trump declares it a win for the American people and compliments his Presidency for getting the deal done. All 16 teams purchased are relocated, re-branded, and the NFC conference was resurrected under a new identity. 10 years have passed by and today marks the 10th anniversary of the NFC's resurrection. Introducing the new NFC conference:
  2. This is always an interesting conversation as I believe FIFA always gets the mainstream vote due to the sheer marketing machine; FUT etc. It is a good deal more realistic in terms of presentation and has more game modes. EA's online servers are also famously brilliant, which helps to drive both FUT and the Online Seasons mode, which is very fun if you're competitive. However; having previously been a PES man; it's good points to me have always been a more strategic type of game play; along with a more meritocratic Career Mode (Master League), and much better AI. The career mode on Pro is like FIFA in that you start with a bigger team you'll have more money. But most of the finances are based in what you win; you get a lot of prize money for competitions; and the bigger your club gets, the more merch you sell etc. I think the big X-factor for PES though is the option files you can download; allowing you to have the fully licensed kits, badges, names etc. In addition to this you can also get Classic Teams downloaded, such as Classic Man Utd and Classic Barcelona. What do we all think?
  3. I saw on another thread that there are quite a few Xbox 360 players on this game who like FIFA, so I thought we could have some friendly games going on. Basically, I am willing to challenge anybody to a game of FIFA 14 in either Ultimate Team mode (preferably) or regular Online. It can either be a friendly game, or I would be willing to place a bet on the match. The bets can either be for something in MMA Tycoon or for something in FIFA. Naturally, we would have to figure out a time which would best suit both of us, due to me being in Ireland, which goes by UK time. Of course, if anyone else wants to put out a challenge for anyone to take up on this thread, feel free. My Xbox Gamertag is GBK16, you can either message me on Xbox or on this, or even post in the forum stating what wagers you would like in place and which game mode you would like to play in. Now, I am in Exam season, which runs until the 23rd of May, but I could maybe squeeze in a game or two here and there until then. After then, I will be available 24/7 to play anyone with the cajones to face me. Any takers?
  4. http://operationrainfall.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/e3-2013.png Microsoft's press conference - 10 June, 9:30AM PST (5:30PM BST) EA's press conference - 10 June, 1PM PST (9:00PM BST) Ubisoft's press conference - 10 June, 3PM PST (11:00PM BST) Sony's press conference - 10 June, 6PM PST (2:00AM BST) Nintendo pre recorded videos about too. I can't be the only one excited about E3. Looking forward to seeing more of Xbox One and the PS4. Will be really interesting to see what Microsoft and Sony do with their conferences. It's a shame Sony's conference is starting at 2:00AM, was hoping to see it live. Lots of new games will be at E3 as well, one of them being Watchdogs which looks really good so I'll be looking forward to seeing more of it. Not sure if EA's UFC game will be there. Hopefully it will be because I'd love to find out more details about it and hopefully see a couple of gameplay videos and if we're lucky a release date.
