Island Cage Fights is a new openweight org in Hilo started by a total noob in a fit of boredom and hyperactivity! This will be an openweight MMA org, hopefully as many fights as possible will have a finish, due to 5 x 10min rounds! Anyone who has fighters they want in, let me know! Hi folks, That article on Hilo in the recent times really stung, but I can't argue too much with it either. Hilo really is a dump, and there's unfortunately not a lot of great gym choices for guys fresh to the fight game. That's why I took it upon myself to open a new gym in town. Island Warriors Fight Club is currently a sparring and fitness gym, but there are big plans to grow in the very near future. With your support we'll be able to continue our growth and expand the talent pool of trainers available to you. If you're a fighter in Hilo looking for a place to train, give us some consideration. Our fitness trainers are already superior to what the local competition has to offer, and we'll be adding striking coaches soon. Hope to see you there.

After champions are done being crowned, rankings and news will be posted here as well as the "NEWS" section of our front page. This is where you are going to make specific call outs if you want to move up the rankings. Right now only tournament fighters will be ranked, because they were the first to join this org and that is whats fair. After the "championship" event, it will be posted here. If you want to move up the top-5 rankings, you need to specifically call out the ranked fighter IN THIS FORUM and depending on win or loss, we will change the rankings accordingly. I'm opening this now so you all can get used to it, but this concept won't take place until AFTER the championship event. If you have any call outs or anything for that matter, you may still use this now, but don't worry about rankings until I post them. Enjoy! -Amanda

Hello everyone! I am happy to inform you that Hilo's Strenght and Conditioning Gym For Starters has opened! My idea is to maintain a cheap gym, based in Hilo, so everyone could pump his fighters' physical skills before they go and search for gyms with skill coaches. Price is $50 weekly, same as Cozad MMA gyms. For now, I will only maintain equipment and cleanliness at the highest levels so everyone would be able to get the maximum starting benefits for his fighters. If business goes well, I am planning to hire a conditioning coach in order to improve physical trainings and encourage new fighters to stay longer at my place. Each Fighter Will Receive 2000/2000/2000 Term Contracts And Will Be Set To Fight On Bi-Weekly Bases. I Know What You’re Thinking, ‘Why Should I Participate?’. Well, The Reason Is Simple, Your Fighter, If Successfully Wins The Tournament, He Will Be The Title Holder For That Division. Similarly, You Will Receive One Of The Prizes Listed Below. Prizes: 1st Place: 3 Months VIP + $75,000 2nd Place: 50,000 3rd Place: $25,000 We Are Looking For 16 To 32 Participants So Sign Up Below By Writing The Name Of Your Fighter And His ID. New fighting org in Hilo. We're starting of with a 135lbs-, 170lbs- and 205lbs-tournament to crown our first champs. The first 9 170'ers got there matchups in the first fight card/event 31-05-13. Still got openings for some of the 135'ers and 205'ers to join in that date since the cards not full yet. The second event are scheduled for the week after that 07-06-13.
