  1. THE LIAM KELLEY CHALLENGE As the owner of NY Fight NIghts, I proudly present you the most dominant welterweight in his ID range. Both his manager and me are very confident in what he is capable of. That's why I officially announce the Liam Kelley challenge. Any welterweight with an ID 255k + can challenge him. If you are able to defeat him ( what is very doubtfull) , you'll receive 25k. I'm curious to see if some welterweights out there will have big enough balls to step into the cage with him. Your opponent, should you dear to challenge him is : http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14171957124440.jpg Liam Kelley (255358) Record: 6-0-0 ( with 5 first round (t)KO victories) The Irish prodigy is managed by an experienced top manager, Jacob What. His fast evolution in MMA has been nothing but scary. Liam Kelley is without a doubt one of the most promising fighters in his weight class and might very well become one of the p4p kings in the future. It's very rare to see a fighter who is that good already at a young age. We very well might be speaking here about someone who might end up as the greatest of all time.
  2. It's that time again. CEC and SYN are proud to present EPL seasons 7 and 8. This will be the first time two EPL's run concurrently in two separate organizations at two separate weight classes. For the big boys, CEC will be running an open weight, old school EPL. For the lighter fighters, APEX(regular season) and SYN(playoffs) will be hosting a MW EPL with 175lb minimum. We are planning on a late December/ early January start date based on how fast this can all be organized. Each EPL winner will receive at least 2.5 million with each runner up receiving 500k. Those prizes are expected to go up as we get more donations. Tournament rules : - No ID restriction - CEC will be openweight - SYN will fight at MW. 175lb minimum weight - Fights are one round of 10 minutes or 3 3 minute rounds (still to be determined) to keep injuries as low as possible - Point system is 2 points for a finish, 1 point for a decision victory, 0 points for a loss. ( 0.5 points in case of a draw) - Weekly fights, so make sure that your guy has a good injury hidden - Tentatively, the participants will be split up into two even groups and in each group each fighter will fight all other guys in the group. Once the regular season is over, the 8 fighters with the most points will be fighting in a single elimination tournament for the grand prize. All this is subject to change based on # of fighters entered. - A manager isn't allowed to enter two or more of his fighters in a single EPL. You may have fighters in both 7 & 8 The prize has yet to be confirmed, but it will definitely be in the millions (Davies is rich) for the two winners. We are looking for any sponsors willing to pony up some prize money so we can draw in some top talent. Donators: Grasman 500k stpierrecanada 50k
  3. Yes, you read it correctly, NYFN will reopen its doors in february 2016!!! http://i60.tinypic.com/mtaypi.jpg There has never been a thing in the game that I enjoyed more than being the owner of NYFN and those who know me well know that that is 100% true. I had some cool wins with my own fighters, but none of these wins gave me the satisfaction of running my own org. I had to close the org due to family health issues sadly enough. On top of that, I have been very busy the last few months, but I know that real life will calm after january 2016, so I want to reopen NYFN and once again give it my all. What I am looking for is response from managers, via post on this forum thread or via PM, to let me know what they think of it and what suggestions that they have. Also if you will try to send fighters my way, let me know that already please. The more info I get, the better I can plan it and the more brilliant it will be I am going to very carefully plan the opening of the org, and that means that I will have a staff, concept, etc.. all ready long before it actually opens. I want it to be a huge succes once again and I am confident that it will be. As for the org, I haven't decided yet if it will be ID restricted with a ID restriction as it used to be ( 210k) , an ID restriction around 270k for newer fighters, or go for an unrestricted org and really go for it. It will depend on the votes on the poll and the reactions of the managers. In conclusion, I can say that I am very very happy that I will be able to reopen my beloved org again and now I can only hope that the tycoon world is happy with this news as well. -Bjorn-
  4. NY Fight Nights is organising it's first tournament since I became the owner. Everyting is ready and good to go, but first i'm going to give you a small teaser. More information will follow soon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN0_7UTZE2Y
  5. Hey guys! NY Fight Nights is looking for a loyal and good writer. Message me if you are interested and want to become a part of one of the most promising orgs in MMATycoon
  6. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14106007577414.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13945165273961.png Arturo "Zico" Atunes vs "Furious" Devin Styles Atunes is one hell of a motivated young fighter with a big pair of balls. Otherwise you wouldn't dare to call out Devin Styles. This is going to be an epic clash between two top fighters. Both have amazing KO-power, so it wouldn't be a surprise if this fight ends early.
  7. Hey guys! I've just opened a bookmaker shop called MMAbets. I'll first look for info on how to make this run very smoothly before I allow bets to take place. I'll post in here as soon as it's open for betting . If you want to gamble in NY, this will be the place to be I've created the logo already http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1421778486mmabest.jpg
  8. I am thinking of starting a very prestigious tournament somewhere this year at NYFN were the participants must have been , or still are , in the top 5 in the manager rankings. I'm wondering how many would like a creation tournament and how many would like a tournament with already established fighters. I already have great ideas for it, so the only thing I actually need to know is what type of tournament you are willing to take part in , and if there is enough interest form the top managers to fight in it. Post here in the forum, or message me in game here. I can't give you any details yet about the tournament, but I promise it's going to be a great one Bjorn
  9. The story of NY Fight Nights http://www.wealthysinglemommy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/single-mom-in-new-york-city-skyline.jpg On the 24th January 2014, after having played the game for about a month, I started a clothing shop with the help of my mentor Senzo. Some of you might remember the store, called Nippon Outfitters. It was a good experience and made me earn some money. We hosted custom skins for some managers, had a few of our own designs and did money laundry also. Nippon Outfitters was my first contact with being a ' business man' in the MMA Tycoon world. At the beginning of the month September, I got contacted by someone who knew I was interested in owning an org. He told me there was a good opportunity for me. A manager , Morgan Lightning, was looking for someone to take over his org, because he was dealing with some issues and couldn't be online enough to run the org. I contacted him immediately and we discussed the possibility of me taking over the org. He knew I had no experience , but also noticed that I was very motivated and passionate about it. Morgan gave me the green light, and we swapped companies on the 13th of September 2014. In the beginning it was hard for me. I knew that it would take me a lot of work and time to take good care of NYFN, but still, it wasn't easy. Luckily my mentor, alliance buddies and some befriended managers gave me advice. It was an absolute blessing to have these guys by my side at the early stages. Morgan had started a tournament and he asked me to continue it. The tournament was not going well at all and it gave me a big headache. I browsed the forum, messaged a lot of people etc. to find help, as it had become a very troublesome tournament. In the end, I was able to get it back on the rails and we were able to get a well-deserved tournament champion : Jon Snow . We had a lot of fighters signed that belonged to inactive managers or even managers who didn't even play the game anymore. I released them and started building up the roster again. I tried to make sure that each division would be competitive and that we would be able to have a lot of fun fights. The number of message I send in that period must have been huge.. I contacted all decent unsigned fighters I possibly could. We have had some great new additions to the roster lately. A fact is that there are a lot of good, friendly managers at NY Fight Nights, and they for sure have proven to be a huge asset to the org also. Them being loyal when a noob owner took over was a huge factor. I can't thank them enough for their trust. Liam Davidson was our writer, but I knew he wanted to try some other things out and I spoke with him a lot. He now has his own clothing shop and works for Troid. He is a great guy and I wish him all the best. I contacted a newer manager recently and he has become our new writer. Mickey Goldmill has been a great addition to our team. I wanted to make sure that we also had event posters. John Mallon did some great posters for us in the beginning to help me. After I saw a post of Ali Zomba on the forum, I knew that he would be a great poster creator for us. He has been our artist ever since and has done a superb job. Some might think that adding a poster is just a detail, but to me, details make things great! The logo of NYFN needed a bit of an upgrade and I contacted Agent Dee and asked him if he could make something for us. He came up with a stunning design for logo, banner and thumb. The org page has become 10 times prettier thanks to his work ! Last, but not least, JLP offered to become matchmaker at NY Fight Nights, and I was very happy with that. I was having a lot of work in both real life and MMA Tycoon and his message came at the perfect time. He has been great and it's a pleasure to work with such an excellent manager in my team! After the 170lbs tournament was over, we decided to keep the fighters at our org and opened the division up under a 255k Id restriction to make sure that the tournament fighters fitted in well. We are still recruiting currently for that division, so message me if you have a fighter that wants in. Since I love tournaments, I started a new tournament that is all about KO's . It's called the NY Fight Nights Big Apple Brawls tournament. It's a heavyweight creation tournament , and the first event takes place on New Year's Eve. 8 fighters are in te mix to become the best KO-artist. Some great managers are participating in it , and I look very much forward to those fights ! I hearby want to thank all managers who have been a big help for me and the org. For me, this has been a great experience so far, and I think the future of NY Fight Nights looks bright
  10. I came up with the idea to hold yearly awards for my org NY Fight Nights. All managers, also those who don't have a fighter at NYFN, can nominate someone for the awards that are mentioned below, as long as the fighter he nominates fights at NY Fights Nights. A cash prize of 50k per award will be handed out at the start of next year Awards of NYFN: * KO of the year * Sub of the year * Fight of the year * Best young fighter of the year ( maximum 23 years old) * Fighter of the year I don't want this to turn into a heated discussion. We organise this to add something extra to the org, not to cause conflicts. Have fun guys and don't forget to mention for what category you nominate a fighter !! 11. Hey! I'm thinking of opening up the heavyweight division to 18 year old creations with an id restriction of 260k. Please fill in the poll so i can be sure if there is enough demand for it. Thanks guys! Bjorn
