  1. This is always an interesting conversation as I believe FIFA always gets the mainstream vote due to the sheer marketing machine; FUT etc. It is a good deal more realistic in terms of presentation and has more game modes. EA's online servers are also famously brilliant, which helps to drive both FUT and the Online Seasons mode, which is very fun if you're competitive. However; having previously been a PES man; it's good points to me have always been a more strategic type of game play; along with a more meritocratic Career Mode (Master League), and much better AI. The career mode on Pro is like FIFA in that you start with a bigger team you'll have more money. But most of the finances are based in what you win; you get a lot of prize money for competitions; and the bigger your club gets, the more merch you sell etc. I think the big X-factor for PES though is the option files you can download; allowing you to have the fully licensed kits, badges, names etc. In addition to this you can also get Classic Teams downloaded, such as Classic Man Utd and Classic Barcelona. What do we all think?
  2. Football Manager 2015 has been announced as being released on November 7th, with people who preorder it having access to the game two weeks in advance of that date using it's BETA. I am sure there are plenty of people on MMA Tycoon who play Football Manager, and here is a video which goes into great depth to explain the different features that will be included in FM15: With all the new features, including being able to customise your own manager more, take part in training etc. this looks like it will be the best football manager game yet! Just thought we could all use this thread to have a bit of discussion about the game. Few questions to start it off: Who do you all think will be the new wonderkids in the game? In the past, there have been players like Sherman Cardenas (almost 10 years ago now), Carlos Fierro, Doria, Eder Balanta, Erick Torres etc. Who do you think will break through this year to be the must-buy youngsters? What team will you be starting your first save as? For me, I always start with West Ham, my own team. It lets me experience a competitive game, where I am not the best team, but have the potential to break into Champions League. They have a great youth system, letting me get gems without paying a penny, and in most cases, I always keep playing my very first save rather than start over. I also like playing as Skrill North/South teams to build them up, since I feel there is more of a challenge in bringing a team up from the bottom over anything else, and there is no bigger satisfaction then seeing your team lift a Premier League or a Champions League trophy after being in Skrill divisions less than 10 years before. This is also my first year buying FM myself. From CM4 to FM10 it has been my brother who would buy it, and we would all play it from that. Then, from FM11 to FM14, my girlfriends brother let me use his account to play it. I was wondering how much you all usually pay for the game, and when do you usually get it?
  3. Hey! I first asked Mike Tycoon (155) to see if he was ok with my idea. He needed some time to think it all over, but he agreed. I created a page on facebook to try to make the developpers at EA sports aware that there are people interested in a pc version of their game. It is interesting to see if we can make a change with a facebook page. Please like this page!! If all of you like this page, there will be already 5000 likes. If all of you invite your friends to like this page,... the sky is the limit!! It's only a very small task to visit the page and press the 'like - button' . Please give it a go. If we have a lot of likes, I'll see if we can convince some of the people who like the page to start playing MMA tycoon also. So it has it's benefits for all of us. More managers means more competition and more fun!!! please like this link: https://www.facebook.com/wewanteasportsufconpc Thanks!!
