I've been looking at haven't had luck and its what I'm looking for is likely out there; but if you could help me out please

I'm trying to understand this "pop" stuff... basically I'm trying to figure out how I can tell when my fighter is about to pop, so I can adjust training to allow it... Now when I go to my fighters skill pops section and I'm looking at a particular fighter... what do the +.++.-,-- next to a skill mean? Is that my signal he's about to pop? So like a ++ next to something means he's close? Thanks for the help.

-- = 0.00 to 2.49

- = 2.50 to 4.99

+ = 5.00 to 7.49

++ = 7.50 to 9.99

and then you will pop and go to the next level level. This is as recise as you can currently get to knowing when you pop.
