I am checking on the K1 thing. Hopefully enough guys create fighters to make it possible. I will also do a search to try and hire any newly created guys who didn't know about our K1.

Fight order on the event is a little different, but here is the poster.

ONI 88 - Liddell vs McPherson was a huge hit. Thanks to our partner Smashwear and all the fighters involved. Liddell and McPherson put on a hell of a fight and did the main event proud. Any fighter who makes it onto an ONI poster for the 1st time has the right to request 5 free copies of a custom skin made from the body used on the poster. This weekend that will be Liddell and McPherson if they choose to contact me. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1326477463ONI%20Poster.jpg ONI will be re-instating our bookie for all ONI events. Be sure to stp by and bet on your favorite fighters. Mike added a new feature where bets help event ratings. Added to no longer needing to send our gyms bookies every week and I can finally keep it in one place and active. the 1st event should be added tonight.

The event rating was 243.15 with 5923 attending. Fight of the night went to Lyoto Liddell vs Ian McPherson. KO of the night was Sergei Starikov's victory over Mark Berry. Submission of the night belongs to Rodel Hiligaynon for his 1st ever submission in a very long career.

Leading off the evening was Thiago De Santos vs Juan Duran at super heavyweight. Duran managed to cut Thiago with a quick right just after the start of the fight. De Santos immediately went for the clinch and managed to pull guard where he worked his submission game. A few well placed elbows returned the favor and cut Duran before the 1st round was completed giving Thiago the advantage. In round 2 Duran controlled just about every aspect of the fight for the 1st half, but Thiago managed a takedown to turn the momentum in his favor. He was extremely active working for a submission, but the real damage came from more elbows which opened Duran's cut even more and eventually finished the fight via doctor stoppage with one minute remaining.

Pedro Sanchez vs Bruce Sanders was next in line. Sanchez controlled the standup with Sanders a little too focused on combinations he was unable to land. He still managed to cut Sanchez early while stuffing some takedowns. Sanders forced the clinch where he felt more comfortable and used his strength to drag Sanchez down. Sanders worked the gnp, but Sanchez was able to avoid taking damage while positioning for the submission. After a ref standup that was a bit premature Sanders clinched and dragged the fight to the ground again where he hoped to tire out Sanchez. He must be regretting that decision as Sanchez managed to lock in a tight guillotine and secure the win at 6 minutes and 18 seconds.

Next on our docket is Otto Grimm vs Bryce Mizarian. Grimm instantly used his dominating wrestling to avoid Bryce's Muay Thai. At the 1st opportunity a shot in and attacking with furious punches. A brief standup lasted only moments before he shot in again and swung away until the ref was forced to pull him off and declare Grimm the winner.

Athrun Zala vs Marko Gracie was destined to be a grappling exhibition, but no one expected the wrestling to start so quickly. As soon as the fight started Zala shot in and took Markos down. Both warriors struggled back and forthwith Zala using more gnp and Gracie going for the submission. Round 2 was exactly the same until just as Gracie was looking for a kimura Zala landed a big shot that opened him up for a vicious gnp where he eventually had to tap due to strikes 18 minutes and 30 seconds into the fight.

Juanito Sandoval vs Matthew Steele was next. Steele wanted nothing to do with the standup and attacked Sandoval with takedown after takedown. unfortunately that made him too predictable and Sandoval was able to stuff almost every one and made him pay with punishing strikes each time. The couple times Steele did get the fight to the ground Sandoval was able to hold on and force a ref standup. He was unable to keep up the pace and Sandoval was able to land the knockout blow with 1 minute 41 seconds remaining in the 1st round.

Starting off the second half of the night was Eric Lawler vs James Logan. Coming off a couple rough losses Lawler was hoping to turn things around while Logan wanted to use his superior wrestling to dictate the pace of the fight. Lawler got the better of a couple exchanges while Logan missed a couple takedowns, but the fight was close enough Logan could turn steal the round with one good TD. Then, Lawler scored a clinch. He suddenly turned it up to 11 and swung away with reckless abandon wherever he could land. This took Logan by surprise. He was unable to defend, and when his back was against the cage the shots were landing too cleanly for the ref to allow it to go on any further.

Freshly off losing his title Rodel Hiligaynon wanted to earn himself a chance at redemption by beating Anthony Kiedis. Kiedis had other plans. Knowing Rodel's weakness in grappling he clinched and pulled guard subsequently dominating round one working for submission and sweeps then tossing in some ground and pound for good measure. In round 2 Rodel was able to keep the fight standing the 1st 7 minutes, but neither fighter could clearly claim the round until Kiedis managed to bring Rodel down and establish his gnp for the final 2 minutes. Round 3 started much the same as round 1 until midway through the ref stood the fighters up and it was Rodel who then decided it was his turn to score a TD. Avoiding a kimura he swung out to the side and locked in an arm bar forcing Kiedis to tap before it could snap. With Rodel's 1st ever submission he managed to earn submission of the night in what was a very exciting fight. Both warriors showed outstanding stamina and never slowed down.

Zari Yasuda vs Roderick Jenkins both fighters decided early to stand and bang. Jenkins took the early lead in round 1 Landing hard with both his hands and feet, but as the fight moved into round 2 Yasuda was landing slightly more leg kicks which slowed Jenkins down and boby kicks that drained his energy enough to make it any man's fight going into the 3rd. Round 3 is where Yasuda finally gained the clinch where he was able to control the action for a short while. In a fight as close as this the head and body punches he landed in the clinch were enough to edge the judges in his favor for the decision.

For the co-main event of the evening Sergei Starikov asked for a chance to avenge his previous loss to Mark Berry. Berry came in confident due to their previous engagement and instantly clinched up where he could use his strength to rough up the younger fighter. This time Sergei was ready for it and decided not to waste energy trying to break free. Instead he allowed Berry to hold on while Sergei used both hands to strike Mark anywhere he could land. Berry was taking by surprise by this sudden aggression and while off balance got knocked down and swarmed without a chance to recover. The ref had to step in before too much damage was done, and ONI was introduced to it's new lightweight champion Sergei Starikov.

Finally the main event we have all been waiting for. Ian McPherson has been unstoppable defeating every challenger ONI could throw at him. Lyoto Liddell came to ONI wanting to fight only the best and looking for a belt. McPherson is well versed in both striking and submissions, but for this fight he noticed a greater advantage in fighting on the ground. He scored an early takedown and stayed on top for the bulk of round one fighting for better position in order to land the game ending submission and softening up Liddell with strikes. For Lyoto's part he did well to avoid getting put in too much a position of disadvantage or taking much damage. Still, the round was a clear win for McPherson.

In round 2 Liddell came out with a more aggressive attack and managed to cut Ian early. Ian dragged the fight to the ground, but the fighters were stood up only a minute later without much done. They danced with Ian now getting a little more aggressive and neither fighter having an advantage except for the takedown which could have moved the round in McPherson's favor. Lyoto was starting to land a couple body kicks that may help him in future rounds, though.

For the 1st 5 minutes of round 3 both men attempted to find their range neither scoring significant damage. Ian clinched up, but Lyoto seemed to land the better shots once he did. McPherson noticing he was taking damage dropped for a double, but the ewf almost instantly stood them back up where they probedeach other out for the remainder of the round again being tied neck and neck with Ian likely barely stealing the round ( if we scored by rounds ) with his takedown.

In round 4 McPherson scored an early takedown. After a failed guillotine from top he worked to half guard and prevented a sweep by Lyoto. True to form the ref decided working for mount wasn't good enough and stood them back up again. He must have been letting the crowd get to him. Ian was the aggressor, but nothing was really landing until Lyoto fired back with a 3 punch combo that rocked the champ. The champ kept his head about him and ducked a jab only to be lifted off the ground by a powerful uppercut. Before he hit the mat the ref was diving in and the fight was all over. ONI now has a new middleweight champion in Lyoto Liddell. This was a fitting way to end the night with a great come from behind victory and a fight of the night award.

ONI 89 - Tolonen vs Oliveira Live on PPV

Date: 21 January 2012

City: Tokyo

Arena: Saku Dome (7,000)

Brought to you by:

The Smashwear Corporation

Koffin Inc.

In partnership with:

ONI Striking Academy

ONI Grappling Academy

Lightweight Cole Thompson v Heihachi Hayashida

These two BJJ specialists are dead even on paper. Hayashida is a little more experienced and as a result more comfortable on the feet. Thompson more often than not looks to go straight for the takedown. Both fighters are coming off losses and hope to use this fight to turn things around. The gamblers at ONI Bets have Thompson as the favorite while I place the odds dead even or just slightly for Hayashida via decision.

Lightweight Yamapi Chan v Marvin De Leon

Yampi is the more experienced fighter and lives or dies by his BJJ black belt with 12 of his 13 wins via submission. In the standup he tends to over use head kicks and takedowns without mixing in many other strikes. De Leon relies more on his hands mixing body and head shots well. In spite of having the superior wrestling and a brown belt he never shoots. He can still be dangerous off his back with a 7% submission success rate and a good mix between advancing position and strikes. 7% may sound low, but it is only 1% off from Yampi's and in a 30 minute fight is very efficient. Marvin's wins are evenly distributed between KO's, subs, and decisions. If there is a way to win he usually can find it. The bookies are reporting both fighters have the same number of bets. Odds currently have De Leon as the favorite.

Heavyweight Grigoriy Rasputin v Fedor Lesnar

Rasputin has a large advantage in the striking game due to his wonderful Muay Thai while Lesnar's wrestling and BJJ black belt give him the advantage on the ground. But, that is not to say Rasputin is afraid to be taken down. Both warriors have 9 submission victories to their names and I wouldn't be surprised if Grigoriy is the 1st to shoot. Lesnar's experience could be a deciding factor, but ONI Bets is reporting in spite of that fact fans have placed their faith evenly between both fighters.

Super Heavyweight Andy Hug v Daley Bornstein

Both fighters are equally skilled in grappling on paper. Both are more of a sprawl and brawl fighter. Hug mixes leg kicks with his boxing quite effectively. He is most dangerous in the clinch where he scores most of his KO's. Daley tends to rely more heavily on his boxing and uses counters more than a pure aggressive style. If he is to win he will need to stay on the outside and I give him about a 50/50 chance of doing so. While the odds are even fans are overwhelmingly in support of Hug at this time.

Light Heavyweight Romulo Barral v Laurent Gardan

This is the fight Gardan was looking for in order to cement his place at the top of 205. Barral is going to use his boxing to setup takedowns where he hopes to land a submisson. Gardan will attempt a battle of attrition using leg kicks to slow down the takedowns of Barral then look for the KO in the clinch. Romulo will have the advantage in a short battle, but the longer it goes the more I favor Gardan. This is any man's fight, and while more money has been laid down on Barral the number of bets is even between the two contestants.

Heavyweight Thomas Bruso v Nahka Vitonen

After a missed flight in our last PPV Bruso promises to prove this time he deserves to be back on top in his run for the title. Again we are airing on PPV. Both men are KO artists with little chance of a ground war unless Bruso decides to make use of his superior BJJ. In most cases he uses it mostly for defense. Vitonen relies more heavily on his boxing while Bruso is less aggressive but mixes his shots well. I see the edge going to Bruso unless this ends up in the clinch where I would give Vitonen the KO. Both fighters have shown a suspect chin in the past to go with their KO power, so this could end very quickly. The gamblers slightly favor Vitonen.

Middleweight Federico Lovalente v Tsuyoshi Nakayama

This could set up the winner for a possible contender fight to face Lyoto Liddel. The stakes are high and Lovalente has recently had a huge turnaround in his career shooting up the ranks. What has inspired this recent success is unknown, but he plans to make the most of it. Nakayama is the more experienced and older fighter in actual competition though Federico has been practicing MMA longer. Both fighters are comfortable wherever the fight may go. Due to the management choice of Nakayama bets have moved slightly in his favor. Mike from PSU has a good camp and is known for having his fighters prepared with a strong gameplan.

Super Heavyweight Luke Cage v Dominic Fauatea

Luke Cage rebounded from his title fight loss against Oliveira to stop Poncho Villa in the 1st round. He feels he was able to control the pace against the champ until he underestimated Ernesto's clinch. Now, he seeks to use Fauatea as a springboard to get a second shot at the title. Dominic is coming off 2 shocking KO losses, but prior to that he has shown strong striking defense. He also has a decent clinch game which might be a good strategy to use tonight. Both men like to stand, so this should be an exciting fight. Cage has great counter boxing while Fauatea is slightly more aggressive with a combinations of punching high while kicking low. This is super heavyweight. Both men obviously have the power to stop a fight. All bets are on Cage at the moment. I believe Dominic is being seriously underestimated. With each man being in a top rated camp it is hard to say who holds the advantage.

Co-Main Event

Heavyweight Noah Payne v Son Goku

the 1st time these champions faced each other Goku managed to take the title away from Payne. We now find ourselves in a very similar situation where Payne is once again the champion and Goku the challenger. Goku is the KO artist where Payne has shown hints of a suspect chin in the past. It could just be that he has faced some of the best KO specialists in the sport, though. Noah on the other hand is one of the best submission specialists in ONI history and has 50 minutes to end the fight with 1 submission. Both managers are top of the food chain. Payne will use defensive boxing to help open up opportunities for a takedown. Goku has excellent defensive grappling, so he will need to work hard for them. Whoever can dictate where the fight takes place should have this. Bets are evenly divided and give no hint as to who the public expects to win.

Main Event

Super Heavyweight Iiro Tolonen v Ernesto Oliveira

Tolonen is the #1 SHW in the world and #10 P4P. Oliveira is the #3 big man and #25 P4P. Iiro was kind enough to fly out to Tokyo for this super fight of the super heavyweight division. On paper there is no telling these two men apart. Their skills show no advantages for either man. Their styles are very similar as well though I give the slight clinch advantage to Ernesto. For Tolonen 22 of his 29 wins come via KO which is a 75% stoppage rate. For Oliveira 11 of his 12 wins are also via KO for an 85% stoppage rate. Tolonen is the more experienced fighter. The difference lies in the unknown. Iiro has lost 8 fights in his long career, but 7 of the 8 came from KO's. His chin may come into play. But, Ernesto has only had one loss in his much shorter career which also came by KO. Was it a fluke KO as he did avenge the loss? Or was it a sign he may have similar issues against other fighters with a big right hand? We haven't seen it tested enough to know. If I were a betting man I would go with the stats we do know and expect Ernesto Oliveira to take this in the early rounds, but other who have bet seem undecided and have given Tolonen only the slightest of edges in this fight. It may be scheduled for 50 minutes, but no matter who wins I don't see us needing the full time.

Well Suhan can't promise a win in his fight against Gianmarco Zaniboni on tonights card. The one thing he can promise is that he's coming out swinging, and looking to prove to himself and his fans that he's still in the mix in the ONI 145 division!

ONI 94 - Liddell vs Sunny D Live on PPV

Date: 25 February 2012

City: Tokyo

Arena: Nippon Judokan

Brought to you by:

The Smashwear Corporation

Koffin Inc.

Legal Highs 160q Supps

In partnership with:

ONI Striking Academy

ONI Grappling Academy

Odds provided by ONI Bets.

1.77 Sunny Disposition v Lyoto Liddell 1.87

At 185 our main event looks to be a barn burner. Sunny Disposition came from Blitz: Ascension to challenge our champion Lyoto Liddell. These two strikers are near mirror images of each other with Sunny D having the slight advantage standing though not enough to really mention. Even their records are even though Liddell does have 3 more KO's. This will likely be a grueling standup war. Who will be able to hold out the longest?

2.60 Naoto Sugawara v T.G. Tonying 1.40

Both fighters are knock out artists of the purest form and rely very heavily on their boxing pedigree. You won't see much diversity in their strikes, but you will see power. Tonying comes in with the experience advantage, but on paper these two combatants are nearly identical. Tonying relies more heavily on combinations which can be hit and miss while Sugawara tends to use single strikes. It will be interesting to see which fighter's strategy wins the night.

1.43 Ian McPherson v Federico Lovalente 2.50

Both fighters are coming off a KO loss to the reigning champ Lyoto Liddell. McPherson was the champion up until their battle. Now, they are looking to rebound and get back in the spotlight. McPherson is a versatile fighter who can knock you out or break your arm. Federico also shows the same versatility though Ian's black belt may cause him difficulties. One thing is for certain. Someone is getting the finish.

1.67 Curt LeMae v Poncho Villa 2.00

1.68 Rodel Hiligaynon v Zari Yasuda 1.98

2.00 Gianmarco Zaniboni v Kong Su han 1.67

2.17 Anthony Wright v Tyrone Bate 1.56

1.53 Jamison McGowen v Grigoriy Rasputin 2.25

1.82 Gustaf Lindback v Katsu Higashikuni 1.82

1.74 Lee Leeson v Otto Grimm 1.90

ONI - 100 Cage vs Goku

Why hello there raging fight fans, this is David Goliath, The Zombie Writer here to bring you the action on this historic Tokyo event, ONI - 100. This is the big one folks! One hundred main events put on by ONI, and still going strong. ONI may have recently changed management, but believe that Christian is a well suited heir to this powerhouse hypemachine. In the past, he has created Bare Knuckle Combat New York and competed with the top orgs over there. More recently, our creator and honorary boardmember, Kojiro Sasaki determined that Christian was a rightful candidate to take over major oporations here at ONI. With Christian's time and skills, and a community of boardmembers with great org. wisdom and knowledge, ONI will be carried on into the future, and remain THE premier org of Tokyo. ONI - 100 is a great example of the work and dedication Christian has to offer Tokyo's elite, an event that will break multiple record both for Tokyo and for ONI. Now down to the action...

It is well know that ONI, in the past has been known to take a do it yourself approach to events and to success. Choosing mostly to make all fights within the org, and refrain from superfights, ONI built itself into a top 15 global organization. Holding in reserve the superfight option has allowed this card to happen, and, oh boy do we have a big one...

Luke Cage vs Son Goku SHW title fight

Since joining ONI's SHW division Luke Cage has been a nightmare powerhouse kickboxer. Dropping his first fight to the great Ernesto Oliviera in a violent first round stoppage, Cage went on to dispatch his next 4 opponents in the first round with devestating power in his kicks and punches, as well as deadly accuracy. Cage went on to avenge his only ONI loss and take control of the SHW title...This man has yet to see the second round since joining ONI.

Son Goku. Son Goku period. That should say it all, but for those noobs who don't know, I'll fill ya in. Son Goku is a member of both AJFC and ONI hall of fame, and is the baddest man in Tokyo. Son Goku has fought on a global level for a long time, with even a win over the famous Don Marciano...Goku is the current number one condender in the HW division, and has decided to challenge for the SHW title while awaiting his next shot at the HW gold strap. Goku likes to use extraterrestrial-like power and speed to kickbox his opponents into a bloody first round stoppage. Although he has lost a few fights recently, make no mistake that Goku has a good chance of holding both the HW and SHW titles for ONI. This fight will become legend.

In all my knowledge and wisdom of ONI's fighters, I have to say that Goku may be the favorite coming into this thing. Cage is the real deal at SHW, but this fight will show if he can fight on the world stage against thw top tycoon has to offer. Goku is already at that level and has only lost to the best. I say Goku shows Cage where is weaknesses are, and makes him come back even stronger.

Ernesto Oliviera vs Sam McKay

Ernesto Oliviera is the former ONI SHW champion, and one of the most dominate fighters the division has ever seen. Oliviera came into ONI like a bat out of hell...and has seen every ounce of professional fight action inside ONI. He fought his way into a title fight with now AJFC contender Andy Hug, and dominated the champion, claiming the gold as his own. After defending his title 5 times, Oliviera got a shot and current number 2 p4p fighter in the game, Iiro Tolonen. After losing his title to the current ONI SHW champion Luke Cage, Oliviera has beaten top prospect Ponch Villa and is now fighting for another title shot. Ernesto enjoys beating his opponents up with kickboxing and vicious leg kicks, and is no stranger to some heavy dirty boxing at times. He like power and accuracy in his approach.

Sam McKay is another new recruit from the HW division. He has gon through almost everybody in the HW division, dropping only recently to Son Goku himself. He is the number one contender in that division, but shares the same fightcamp as current HW champion Eddie Miller so, is looking to pick up some action in another division for now. Sam is a former champion and has fought all over the world against the best each city has to offer, coming out on top most of the time. Sam is a natural boxer who mixes kicks into the fray, and also has some very heavy dirty boxing. Sam has the kind of power held by only the best in the game, and can crumple any chin with hard work and angles.

This is razor close to call. Sam does have the punching power of a global superstar, but lacks diversity in his attack. Ernesto looks to have a slight edge with more weapons to fire and may be the winner in this one, but Sam can stop a fight at anytime and is recently peaking as a professional. You call it.

Wahoo McDaniels vs Jigoro Kane

This will be a very exciting match-up and certainly will leave us with a 100% fight rating. Wahoo McDaniels is a boxer who can defend against anything thrown at him, and dish out big punishment in a short amount of time. He likes to destroy opponents a little at a time, ending fights with either a devestating knockout, or a mistimed step, and the light went out for him. A crowd favorite, everyone knows that Wahoo puts on a good show and delivers the good everytime. Look for him to throw often and early, and try not to waste any time in the cage against a dangerous opponent.

Jigoro Kane. Did you hear me? JIGORO KANE! Once held as the number one p4p fighter in the game after stamping out Tycoon's first superstar Jin Sen, Kane went on to hold the SYN title and defend it over and over. He first seemed human when he started dropping fights to other p4p names, fighting only the best in the game. Since his prime, Kane has still destroyed some of the best fighters around and currently holds the CWFL light heavyweight belt. Kane's ability to put a man to sleep once amazed every player in the game so, this is still the biggest fight of Wahoo's career. May the fireworks commence!'

This is rediculous...I have to call this really? Ok well, I'll say that Kane is the obvious favorite on paper, but the reality is he has been knocked out before, and McDaniels is just the guy who could do it. This fight will not go more than 10 minutes, and someone will be sleeping. My money is on McDaniels. With all due respect to the great, Wahoo is peaking and has an exellent camp who has prepared for this fight relentlessly.

Roderick Jenkins v Horato Muchada

Here is a big bantamweight fight to round out our main card action. Both of these guys are always listed in Tokyo's top 10 145ers...Both are hungry for a comeback run or a title shot, and the winner will almost certainly be in the top 3 of a crowded-with-killers 145lb division.

Roderick Jenkins has only lost 2 times since going pro...and even then he faced the hall of famer Kong Su Han, to lose by cut, and the most accurate striker in the division, Zari Yasuda, to lose a hard-fought decision. Jenkins is one tough SOB, proving this over and over and remaining in top contention for a title shot. Jenkins uses a barrage of muay thai leg kicks to weaken as opponent while mixing up diverse strikes into his attack. Damage accumulation is his bread and butter, until he decides to end the fight.

Horato Muchada is very excited to get a rematch with Jenkins, and a chance at revenge. The two met back in ASTRAL, the former top Tokyo org where Jenkins stopped Muchada in the second round with strikes. Since than, these guys joined the ONI shark tank which is the 145 division. Muchada re-ignited his fire and although dropped his first two fight in ONI, he has since adjusted and ran through some top guys to place his name in the elite of the division. Muchada likes to utilize kickboxing and leg kicks at volume to soften guys up, and tear their clothes off in a clinchrape fashion. He is also no stranger to the ground game, having some good submissions in his early days.

In my opinion, Roderick Jenkins has improved the most since their last meeting and I believe there will be no rubber match.

I would like to say that although I am busy running a fightcamp and the number one clothing store Smashwear, I have done my best to bring a good and entertaining analysis on this great event. Although I must stick to the main card only due to time restraints, the other 6 matches are all great fights and will showcase the level of talent at ONI's disposal. Tune in for this PPV event in the comfort of your own home, or bring your happy asses out to the raging masses as we throw the biggest party in Tokyo since Godzilla stopped making films!

ONI - 102

WWWWWWWAAAAAAAUGHHHHHHRRRRRRRRR! TOKYO JAPAN!!! It's the Zombie Writer David Goliath here to

bring the blood to the masses as I break into another preview and predictions write-up for

ONI-102, Cage vs Oliviera. Now let me just start by saying that, in no way am I trying to burn

any bridges with my predictions on ONI fights. You guys know that I sponsor almost all of you,

and everyone of you are an important part of what goes on here in Tokyo altogether...I'm not

trying to put down any fighter in this org., I am merely trying to bring to life a text based

game with a good read for all ONI managers and hopefully to entertain a few of you. When I call a

prediction I base it from the individual history I have in memory of that fighter, his manager,

people he beat, etc...I have a mental chart of the level fo ability most fighters in ONI have and

I try to mentally play out fights and come up with my best guess and sometimes why. I am never

perfect, and lately with this new generation of talent starting to take control of the divisions,

I am almost piss poor in accuracy. That being said, I reserve the right to call fights in a

sportsman-like manner, and make it colorful and entertaining. I hope you all enjoy!

MAIN EVENT

Luke Cage vs Ernesto Oliviera SHW TITLE

What can be said about Luke Cage that he hasn't already said himself? Quite a bit actually...Luke

is a somewhat humble fighter and hasn't been so verbal this far in his championship reign, So

let's toot his horn for him (no homo) Luke Cage is currently the number one superheavyweight in

the game. Cage recently defeated a dual-weightclass Son Goku in a dramatic, award winning KO that

shocked Tokyo. Cage is a crusher with his kickboxing and can knock any man out when he connects.

Cage will certainly be looking to strike and finish big!

Ernesto Oliviera is currently the number 9 super heavyweight in the game. Oliviera is the former

ONI SHW champion and truely a world-wide contender @ SHW. Oliviera has only recently lost to

number 2 p4p figher Tolonen, and to Luke Cage himself, when he lost the ONI gold. Oliviera has

gon on to dominate Ponch Villa and number one contender Sam Mckay, and is looking for a

rubbermatch that leaves him on the world p4p list, number one SHW in-game, and the ONI SHW

champion. This guy enjoys striking with heavy leather and accuracy, and has no problem with

throwing dangerous strikes in the clinch as well. Chuck Norris acknowleges Oliviera's existance.

WOW! Huge fight with huge rewards right here! Two of the best in the world squaring off and I

have to mention that winner will surely be on or near the worldwide p4p list...I have no idea

whats going to happen. A shot in the dark says Cage's KO power will prevail, but I know Oliviera

can avoid shots and dish out pain as well...If it ends in the first it's a KO win for Cage, if it

goes to the second, Oliviera wins a TKO stoppage...

CO-MAIN EVENT

Sergei Starikov v Frank Saurus LW TITLE

Sergei Starikov is the current ONI lightweight champion, after takign the title from Mark Berry,

and defending it 2 times, recently against no.1 contender Chuck Grace. Starikov was able to

finish Chuck in the first and prove that the strap in his to keep and yours to take. Mostly a

pure boxer, Starikov has some of the deadliest hands in the division, and are devestating when

coming in contact with other fighters. Sometimes he likes to throw huge and dangerous punches,

leaving a slight opening for an agile fighter to find...Most who try have all been put to sleep.

Frank Saurus is almost a mirror-image of Starikov, only without all the KO power. Saurus comes to

us from the former BKC org. where he got a good head start, and then landed in TTFC where he

claimed the LW title. Saurus now comes to ONI with big plans and a target on his back. Coming

straight into and org already a champion, and getting a title shot right off the bat says the

division should watch out for this guy. He likes to trade toe-to toe standing, using almost pure

boxing and dirty boxing, but has decent takedowns and utilizes G and P to weaken opponents, while

looking for a stoppage.

I don't know much about Saurus, but this is a big test. Although he comes in a former champion,

this is one of the biggest orgs. in the game and these guys are elite. I'm gonna say that ONI's

champion gives Frank Saurus a rude awakening early.

Randal Stevens v Max Power

Randal Stevens is a 170-pounder that is fairly new to ONI and has gone 1-2 so far. In his victory

over ONI star Hideo Toyoku, Stevens showed Tokyo fight fans that once he has someone on the

ground, he can really cause some magor damage in a short amount of time. His wrestling is some of

the best around the division and he promises to grow as an athlete and show ONI fighters that he

is a force to be reckoned with.

Max Power is a longtime ONI veteran who has has some of the most exciting fights in recent WW

history. Attacking with a wide-array of kickboxing techniques, Power likes to throw with bad

intentions and look for a quick stoppage. His headkicks has been known to kill healthy men

instantly. In his early days Power was known to submit guys so as always, he is a threat anywhere

you wish to look.

This one comes down to, how good is Max Power off his back? Cause no matter what,if properly

timed, noone will be able to stop Stevens takedowns. Maybe Power still has some submission

skills, But I think Stevens may take a decision win here...

Sam McKay v Noah Payne

Sam McKay is one of the most feared strikers in the heavyweight division. Mixing kickboxing with

devestating power and speed, McKay can easily rack up damage early if not properly looked after.

McKay recently took a fight @ SHW and faced the number one contender Ernesto Oliviera, where he

showed that the HW division is where he belongs. Same likes to soften guys up with accurate

powerful strikes, and likes to deliver death in the form of short, monsterous shots from the

clinch. McKay is not to be taken lightly by and HW in Tokyo. He has beaten almost everyone here.

Noah Payne is an ONI HW with excellent ground skills and an ever-improving stand-up game that has

been put to the test more than once here in ONI. Payne is the former ONI champion and has some of

the best submissions in Tokyo. Payne has faced only the best in the division and is a seasoned

veteran who doesn't back down. If you find yourself in a position where you think he might tap

you, then wake up because you are already asleep. In this rematch, Payne feels he can bring a

better gameplan to the cage and hopefully have different results than their first meeting...

I feel that although Payne is a beast on the ground, his stand up game lacks too far behind to

make him a threan in this fight. Crafty as ever, he is always dangerous and could take the win,

But I see another victory in the future of McKay. This will be a WAR!

UNDERCARD

Kong Su han v Zari Yasuda

Although not a featured bout on the main card, I felt this way a fight that needed some

attention. Kong Su Han is the ONI hall of famer who is tied for second for most KO's in ONI. Kong

Su Han is a lifetime ONI fighter and a crowd favorite. He uses dangerous muay thai strikes from

clinch to cut guys up worse than a drunken barber...He is an animal against the cage, drawing

blood in almost every fight he has ever been in, and winning by cut stoppage so often, It's

almost a sure thing you will need stitches. He has seen the peak of his career come and go, but

is always an entertaining fighter and is in the hearts of Tokyo fight fans permenantly.

Zari Yasuda is widely know as the most accurate striker in the bantamweight division. He has the

ability to land hundreds of strikes in a single fight, and has done so many times. Staying in the

Tokyo top 10 BW list for the last 3 months, Yasuda has only lost to the best in the city, and

worldwide elite fighters. Recently losing to top of the division Harkonenn, Yasuda is looking to

get back on track and string together some wins late in his career, and put his name on the

streets of Tokyo once again. Yasuda loves to use accurate kickbboxing to confuse opponents and

keep them dazed, and has no problem racking up points in the clinch.

I feel that Yasuda is probably one of the top 3 guys in the division,a nd will take this one by

decision or stoppage.

The rest of this great event is as follows...

170 lbs 3 Emer Dlouze v George St Pierre

145 lbs 3 Bob Le Bricoleur v Jeremy Sacks

205 lbs 3 Marko Gracie v Laurent Loughlin

205 lbs 3 Devon Berto Jr v Matthew Steele

135 lbs 3 Lee Leeson v Mark Bouza

We hope you enjoy this great event ONI has put together for you, and we hope that is quenches

Tokyo's thrist for combat bathed in fire...Osaka Niten Ichi has been THE top org of Tokyo for

some time now, and it is only here that you can find the best in the city. Much love to all Tokyo

fighters, and a huge thanks to these ONI fighters and managers...You help make Tokyo the best

city to fight in! I am David Goliath, and this is ONI - 102! Thank you and good night!

In the post fight presser for ONI 119 Kong Suhan shocked the MMA world by announcing he would be hanging up his gloves after his next fight. Here are the highlights from that brief interview...

Media - "Kong, Kong over hear Justin Cider with MMAHead Radio. Your career has had its ups and downs, why decide to retire now? The fans love to see you fight, and they know they're going to see a war every time you step into the cage."

Suhan - "I appreciate that sentiment, I really do, but I've always been chasing that World Championship. I've been in too many wars to realistically make another run at the title, and if I'm not taking the steps towards that then it's time for me move on."

Media - "Have you ever given any thought to, perhaps, making a move to a different company where you would be able to make a run at the title?"

Suhan - "No. That thought has never crossed my mind. I came into this sport and signed with ONI for my very first pro fight, and 28 fights later I'm still here. The only title worth having, in my opinion, is the ONI title."

Media - "Fair enough. What about a move to a different division say LW or even dropping to BW? That might re-energize you."

Suhan - "My coaches and I seriously considered a drop in weight before we decided about retiring. BW would be an easy cut for me to make, but that feels to much like running away to me so we decided if I couldn't make a run now that it was better to retire."

Media - "Well I for one would like to thank you for all the fights you've given us over the years, and you will definitely be missed in our sport. I wish you nothing but the best with you post retirement plans. Any idea who your opponent for your last fight might be?"

Suhan - "It's not my style to call people out, well except when I was calling out champions haha, so I'm just going to leave that up to ONI. They always find me someone to scrap, and I have no doubt they'll do the same for this farewell fight."

Media - "Thanks for the time Suhan, and I know we all look forward to your last fight."

Suhan - "Thanks. It's been a pleasure."

ONI Hall of Famer, and 2 time former title challenger, Kong Suhan had announced his retirement prior to his fight at ONI 123. He fought Anthony Kiedis that night, and came away with another TKO win on his resume. That was the last fight on his contact, and he had every intention of sailing off into the sunset as it is commonly called. After the bout ONI management came to his locker room, and asked him if he'd reconsider his retirement. He was obviously riding high after the fight, and basking in the glow of his win so he had some second thoughts about hanging up the gloves he loves so much. He took a week to reconsider, and ultimately resigned with the company. He has since gone on to push his win streak to 3, and his 2 most recent fights have seen him win back to back OTN awards. His recent success in the cage has pushed to hold records in ONI for most fights(31), most wins(tied 18), and most TKO wins(tied 15). He next faces off against dangerous KO artist David Kyle, and a win there would push him right to the top of the division. With 3 fights remaining on his contract he just may find himself challenging for the ONI FW title for a third time, and rest assured he plans on getting that belt before he does finally hang em up and call it a career.

oni 141 preview written by my fellow alliance member

Hello everyone, Ezekial Smith here. If any of you listeners tuning in have ever heard of AJFC NEWS, then you shall be

familier with the name. Jumping right to the point here, I am your new host, and I shall be giving you some fight

previews, reviews, and interviews haha *clears throat* in what will for the time being be the brand new and generically

named... ONI NEWS!

Anyways, down to buisness.

Tonight, we shall be talking about the upcoming ONI event taking place in the famous Tokyo Bowl: ONI 141 - KENICHI

vs VANGELIS on January 12th, 2013.

The Main event and co main event will be gracing the fans with title fights, as Donald Blake defends his

205Lb belt against Frank Lodin in the co-main, and Kenichi Shirahama defends his 265Lb belt

against Vangelis Kokkalis in the main.

We shall start off with the undercards. I wont be spending too much time on them in this show, but rest assured that

the next show will be a little more detailed.

First up: "Dragon" Ryuu Tatsuya (12-10) takes on Rural "Alberta" Advantage (12-8-1).

Tatsuya likes to stand and bang, very very good in the clinch, and he defends well on the ground. Advantage is a stand up

fighter who also knows how to utilize the clinch. Both fighters are coming off a win, making this a good opener for the

night. A little side note... Rural advantage defeated my fighter Captain Caveman, so I know how tough he is.

Next up: Artie "Baby Gorilla" Lange (13-6-1) fights John "The Nightemare" McClane (24-12-2).

Lange's skills lie mainly in the clinch whilst McClane prefers to use his boxing skills to win the match. Both fighters

are hungry for a win as they are both coming off losses. This should be yet another exciting stand up slug fest, and I

look foroward to seeing it.

Third on the list: Ryan Apollo (22-16-1) faces off against Saku "Water" Thirtynine (18-19-1).

Apollo is a well rounded fighter, sporting 7 KO's, 6 Subs, and 9 decisions. Thirtynine relies mostly on his ground skills,

winning 11 of his 18 wins by way of submission. Both are cooming off losses, and for some reason I cant help but guess this

one will go to the ground, being won by submission or decision haha!

Forth match will feature: "The Marine" David Kyle (16-7) and his stand up skills taking on Izaac Kari (12-7), who prefers

to get in close and duke it out.

Following what I believe will be a wrestling macth, the pace should pick back up here. Both fighters are coming off

losses, making this the third fight where someone will lose their losing steak.

Numero fiveo': Ernesto Olivera (21-8) versus "The Sumo Beast" Jumo Sudo (16-6).

Ladies and gentalmen this is a good ol' fashion grudge match. Both these fighters have faced off before, with Jumo coming

out the victor. That fight ended early in the first round, will Olivera be able to exact revenge, or will Sudo come out on

top once again?

Match number six: Hessu "Hatju" Hopo (22-13) squares off against Frank Mir (21-13).

Hopo likes to utilize his ground and pound, after setting up opponents with his stand up. Frank Mir is on the opposite

side of the ground game, relying mostly on submission skills to win his matches. Only the second match I see going to the

ground tonight.

The seventh undercard bout of the night will feature: Marko Gracie (20-12) taking on a fighter from my stable; Tom "And

Harry" Dick (9-3).

Gracie will be a tough match for Tom Dick, effectivly welcoming him into ONI. Pretending I am a neutral party in this

event.. Gracie is a very well rounded fighter with a great ground game, winning most of his matches by submission. Tom Dick

on the other hand has awesome clichwork, and his ground defences are top notch. Who knows where this fight will wind up, or

how it will end.

The last undercard of the night will feature: Julio Salcedo (13-6) and Rotte Demauler (22-11-1).

This fight looks to be another stand up bout, as Salcedo and DeMauler both like to scrap it out in the clinch. Another

match where both fighters are coming of losses. The night's events seem to be geared towards bettering records, which the

fans always love.

Ok, Now for the Co-Main event of the eventing: "Thor" Donald Blake (15-3) will defend his Light Heavyweight Title against

Frank "The Wreckingball" Lodin (19-6-1).

Champions come and champions go, but Donald Blake is here to make as statement. A former champion who lost the belt in his

first defence, has reclaimed the title and successfully defended it three times now. Frank Lodin is no slouch either,

being a former champ of many a fight org. In this Co-Main we have stand up versus ground and pound. I'm sure this will be

a great match for the fans.

Last but not least on our list of fights, the Main Event: Kenichi "The Strongest Disciple" Shirahama (14-5) will defend his

Heavyweight Title against "The Argonaut" Vangelis Kokkalis (14-2).

Shirahama likes to utilize his BJJ, forcing opponents to submit to his will. Kokkalis likes to stand back and swing. the fans are pumped up for this match and I personally look forward to seeing if Shirakama can take down Kokkalis, or will this be yet another first round KO in a long list of first round KO's for Kokkalis. The thing that makes this such a good match is, the former (and if my facts are strait) and current Valhalla Heavyweight champion, takes on the newly crowned king of the ONI heavyweights.

Wrapping up, I would have to say that ONI 141 is going to be a night for the fans and fighters both. I hope you all

tune in for the post fight show, and stay tuned for more news, updates, and interviews from...

ONI NEWS... KEEPING YOU IN THE KNOW.

ONI 152 PREVIEW

Hello MMA Tycoon fans and welcome to the preview of ONI 152 – Fox vs Sibelius. Oni will once again be putting on a stellar event with numerous matches to look forward both on the under and main card. The event also features a title bout for the welterweight championship between Randy Marsh and Four Loko. ONI 152 will take place at the Tokyo Bowl in Tokyo and the event is expected to do a great gate. For the fans abroad, or those not able to make it, the event will also be airing a Pay-Per-View for the main card. Now let’s discuss the fights on the main card, having a look at the fighter’s recent history, some fight analysis and my picks for the show.

Randy Marsh vs Four Loko - (Welterweight Championship bout)

The main card starts off with a bang as the fans get to see a title fight right away. Randy Marsh (23-14) is the current champion and is looking to defend his belt for the first time after winning the belt from Ben Stone by unanimous decision back at ONI 149. The challenger, Four Loko (13-4) is a ONI newcomer and is coming off a successful run in organisations like MLC, UFF and UPG. Loko left MLC as the champion which is why he is getting a chance to fight for the belt right away. Marsh is a strong grappler with Elite wrestling and a red belt in BJJ, loves to grind on guys and beat them up. Although he has won by submission in the past, it’s really only to keep him out of submissions and keep good position on his opponents. Loko is also grappler at heart but has grown into a dangerous striker as well with some lethal head kicks and his BJJ still comes in handy when he does get taken down. The champ comes into this fight the much better grappler and will no doubt be looking to take this fight to the mat. Although Marsh has some good hands of his own, Loko will be the stronger fighter on the feet and needs to stick and move from the outside. I do not think Loko will be able to hand Marsh’s pace and takedowns and it will probably be a good learning experience for the younger fighter. Loko has been submitted and stopped with strikes and Marsh has a good chance of doing the same, provided he doesn't eat a big head kick of corse. Pick: Randy Marsh via submission.

Micky McFinnigan vs Frank Mir

In the second fight on the main card two heavyweights are set to scrap it out all for the entertainment of the Tycoon fans. Micky (11-3) is a long time ONI veteran known for his incredibly offensive striking game that the fans love to see. Micky has only needed the judges in one of his 11 wins as he usually dispatches his opposition in the first round. Micky recently rebounded from the loss against Kenichi with a nice win over Matae. His opponent, Frank Mir (23-14), is a long time veteran who has been fighting for much longer than Micky and certainly has a lot more experience. Mir is a very strong grappler, known for his effective BJJ game that he uses to lock up scary submissions. Mir also recently rebounded from a loss with a submission of the night victory over Salcedo to avoid going into another losing streak. This is a classic striker vs grappler match as Mir comes into this fight with the much better BJJ and wrestling. Micky only has a brown belt but has never been submitted before so it will be interesting to see if Mir can do it. Micky will be the better striker but Mir is no slouch on the feet whatsoever although he does have a very question mark chin. Mir has been stopped with strikes 14 times in his career and it is really the only way to beat him. Micky is the younger guy and I have to go with him in this fight, considering Mir’s chin, but if it goes to the ground its Mir’s fight to win. Pick Micky McFinnigan via TKO

Tadamasa Yamada vs Kalevi Commando Kukkonen

Next up its time for the middleweights to put on a show as two technical fighters try to jostle for position in a crowded division. Yamada (32-11)is a veteran of the game who has fought just about everywhere, never staying in one organisation for two long. At ONI 148 he notched his second win in a row by first round TKO after losing his debut the same way. His opponent, Kukkonen (22-10) is the younger fighter and also has not been fighting for ONI for a long time but fought in numerous different organisations including Empire and Ascension. He has yet to lose under the ONI banner, most recently edging Freeman by unanimous decision at ONI 150. Kukkonen is an elusive striker who likes to take advantage of mistakes and win the rounds with smart takedowns, clinch work and strikes. He does get criticized for not going for finishes enough but it is what works for him and we can’t hate him for it. Yamada (32-11) is much more of a brawler who likes to go after it and throw heavy leather until it connects. Both these guys have good BJJ as well to keep them out of trouble on the ground but something tells me we won’t be seeing any of that. This fight is very even on the feet with the versatility edge going to Kukkonen and the power going to Yamada for sure. Kukkonen loves to use his gameplans to get the win and Yamada really has to knock him out if he wants to stop it. I think Kukkonen has what it takes to avoid the power shots, work Yamada with kicks and punches and maybe even score a takedown. Pick: Kukkonen via Unanimous Decision.

Brick Tires vs Ghengis Congo

In the co-main event of the evening it is once again time for the heavyweights to take center cage. Brick Tires (9-2) is a young guy at 22 years old and is pretty new to the game and his MMA career. He mostly fought for Rivals but has made his way over to ONI with success, winning his first two fights by TKO in the first round. He has won by cut more than once as he loves to slice people up with elbows from the clinch. His opponent, Congo (26-13) is the opposite of Tires as he is a veteran who has fought all over the place. In terms of ONI fights, they are even and Congo also won both his first fights in the first round by KO, most recently knocking out DeMauler at ONI 150 in what ended up being the knock out of the night. Both these guys loves to stand and bang and they are very evenly matched at it. There are rumours going around that the winner of this fight could find himself in the position to fight for the title next but it will come down to timing, results of other matchups and how the fight is won. An impressive first round knockout followed by a crazy in cage rant could make a big difference. This fight is really hard to call, Tires will have youth on his side but Congo not only has more experience but also will have the longer reach. I think Congo will be able to use his experience and reach to stop the younger Tires but there is no doubt I could be wrong. Pick: Congo via KO

Red Fox vs Jean Sibelius

In the main event of the evening we have a very exciting lightweight fight between two fighters who you would never expect to see face each other. Red Fox (31-10) is one of the more experienced fighters at 135 still active in today’s MMA Tycoon world. After a run in Ascension at 145 he came to ONI and returned back to his natural weight of 135 and even managed to capture the title but lost it in his first defense. He has since bounced back with two victories but is now trying to really up his hype by challenging Sibelius at Lightweight, two divisions above his natural weight. Sibelius (27-6) has fought at 155 his entire career and currently holds the ONI lightweight title. Sibelius came over to ONI after defending his XFC belt two times and made his immediate title shot count in his ONI debut. Since then he defended his belt twice against Kale Cruz but is really out of contenders at this point which is why this super fight is happening. Sibelius has ruled the 155 division with a very well rounded MMA game that is tough to deal with. Good strikes as well as effective takedowns and ground and pound make him a tough match-up for anyone. Red Fox, on the other hand, is known for his exciting sprawl and brawl style and has always showed power that is very uncommon for bantamweights. If Fox can keep this fight standing it will be very interesting because Fox will be much lighter and more agile than Sibelius. This could help him move in and out and land that big shot that could change the fight. Sibelius is persistent with his takedowns though, and if he can keep bringing Fox down he could really wear him down. This is where Fox’s size might be an advantage as takedown shorter fighters is a lot harder, especially form the outside. However, Sibelius is a good striker too and will have a huge reach advantage that he could exploit with straight punches and leg kicks. He probably won’t want to risk too much by standing with Fox but he might have to if Fox can stuff some takedowns. However, I think that at the end of the day the size difference will really come into play, especially considering Sibelius’ style which is why I have to pick him. Pick: Sibelius vs Unanimous Decision.

The undercard is filled with exciting scraps as well that well get all the fans in attendance ready for the main card. Undercard bouts are listed below.

265 - Fincent LeBlond v Yedo Kim

135 - Li Xiaolong v Danny Raptor

265 - Rotte DeMauler v Chazz Michael Michaels

135 - Tyrone Bate v Juan Jose Moreno Cuenca

155 - Zell Dincht v Antti Rannanjarvi

Well that concludes this preview, I hope all the fans will enjoy the show and that the fighters bring their A game. This is Maximillian Marks signing off for now, have a good day

Resurgent FW, Kong Su han, keeps moving toward yet another shot at the ONI FW Title. Having gone 6-1 since coming out of his short lived retirement, with all those wins coming via tko, he is making a strong case for his third attempt to capture that gold strap. When asked about if he thinks he'll get another crack at the Champ Kong was very humble. "I fight who ONI tells me, when ONI tells me. Early in my career I made a lot of claims about becoming the Champ, and I've never been able to back them up. Now that I'm just going fight to fight and not really thinking about anything past that my career has been doing great. So if ONI granted me another shot at the Champ I would definitely take it, but for now I'm just focusing on Pip Gonzalez." Very humble of the HoF'er and fan favorite long time ONI fighter.

Here's a brief recap of Kong's impressive ONI run :

Most fights in ONI history - 35

Most wins in ONI history - 21 *Tied with Ernesto Oliveira & Waru Kuzuri

Second most KO's in ONI history - 18

ONI HoF'er

Former 2X FW Title Challenger

With a resume like that the only thing that could be added to make it more impressive is that FW Belt.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the preview of ONI 156: Stone vs Vadokowich where we are going to take a closer look at some of the fights on the card, find out who’s who and analyze how the fight might go down. Ofcorse this is MMA, anything can happen but we still like to talk about it all beforehand! The event is being held at the Tokyo Bowl on the 11th of May with premium priced tickets still available. This ONI 156 preview is being brought to you by Cold Blooded Kemists.

Ben Stone v Vadim Vadokowich 170 lbs title

In the main event of the evening the welterweight title is on the line as the two time champion, Ben Stone (23-4), looks to defend his belt. Stone has been a solid name in the welterweight division, losing only to top opposition like Sam Hall, Jase Newson and Randy Marsh. Stone is coming of a KO win over Marsh, beating him for a second time and ending that trilogy in his favour. Stone and Vadim actually fought once before with Stone winning that fight by 4th round triangle submission so we could be setting up another rubber match with a Vadim win. Stone likes to fight everywhere and uses a very complete game although his best strength is probably his heavy hands. Vadim (27-12) is a welterweight veteran who has worked his way up to a second crack at Ben Stone. Vadim is a hard-nosed boxer with an offensive and aggressive brawling style and his hands are heavy enough to get a finish at any time. Both of these guys can throw down but I do feel like Stone has more tools and tricks he can use to at least win the fight on the cards. Pick: Stone via decision.

Donald Blake v Johnnie Stalker -205-

In the co-main event we have the exciting rematch between two solid and evenly matched light heavyweights with impressive records. Blake (16-4) was undefeated under the ONI banner before losing a decision to Johnnie Stalker at ONI 145. Blake is a versatile striker who also likes to fight in the clinch and really attacks all parts of the body with both his hands and legs. Stalker (20-7-1) defended his strap once after taking it from Blake but recently lost the belt too Akiyama at ONI 154. Although Blake hasn’t fought since his loss to stalker, the matchup makes sense as both guys are former champions looking to get into another title shot. Stalker is also a striker but likes to mix in takedowns which help him win rounds. Blake has taking some time off after the loss to train a lot and is also younger than Stalker so I slightly favour him but Stalker is better at winning rounds so he does hold the advantage should it go the distance. Too close, can’t pick a winner.

Bruce Li v John England -265-

This fight is going to be a straight up brawl ladies and gentleman. Two big heavyweights who like to knock their opponents senseless are stepping into this one looking for an impressive win. Li (21-11) is making his much anticipated ONI debut against a very tough England (22-9) also making his debut. Both guys have been knocking opponents out left and right outside of ONI and it will be great to see who can get it done here. Both guys mostly use their hands and mix in kicks well but I have to go with England for this one, all his wins come by (T)KO and Li has lost 10 fights by TKO even though he is a good striker himself, add in the 10 minute rounds and you got a clear favourite. Pick: England, first round TKO.

Pikku Näkäräinen v Pip Gonzalez 145 lbs title

Earlier on the card two very talented lighter weight fighters step into the ONI cage looking to go home with that featherweight belt. The current champion, Pikku (20-7-2) will be defending his belt for the first time. After a shaky start in the ONI 135lbs division, Pikku moved up in weight and it has paid off considering he was fighting for the title 2 fights later. This weight class is obviously a better fit for him and is also the division he started off in. Pikku is a grappler at heart with 12 submission victories but has shown ever improving striking and has always liked using rough ground and pound as well. Gonzales (7-0) is very young in his MMA career and is already fighting on a very high level. He is a new breed of fighter who can do it all but prefers to settle the matter on the feet. Gonzales has looked incredible in his 3 ONI fights, winning all by first round (T)KO and earning his spot opposite the champ. I also have trouble picking a winner here, Gonzales is so talented but Pikku, being the veteran that he is, could really grind on the younger fighter and take this into deep waters. On the ground the champ should have a clear advantage and that would probably make him the favourite although there is no way to tell who takes this one home. This is really a matter of who shows up that night.

Ernesto Oliveira v King Nile - 265+-

In the first fight on the main card we get started with the really really big guys, the super heavyweights. Oliveira (25-9) is a true ONI veteran, making his debut on the ONI 33 card back in 2011. He has had some bad luck in the title fights with losses due to cuts but always gets right back on the horse. Like most big men, Oliveira prefers to fight standing and really hunts for your chin and punishes you with hard leg kicks. King Nile (8-3) is a dangerous Egyptian striker who has a lot less experience than Oliveira but does have the skills to hang with these guys. He has looked impressive so far in his 2 ONI fights, winning both, but takes a big step up here against the long time veteran. It’s hard to pick a winner here too since these it’s really just a matter of who hits who hard enough first. I’m going with the younger King Nile because of his more accurate striking and the fact that Oliveira has been stopped from strikes numerous times before.

The undercard is also full of exciting fights, with veterans of the sport like Renato Gracie taking on the former IMMA HELSINKI 145 lbs champ, MixMaster Me. Veterans James and Kim are also on the undercard as well as prospects such as Sjask and Halo. Full undercard listed below:

Renato Gracie v MixMaster Me

Sjing Sjask v Gabriel Halo

Yedo Kim v Brusso Do

Max Power v Alun James

Marko Gracie v Drazen Kadoic

ONI Search for competition for Ben Stone

On the 30th of May, Osaka Niten Ichi will be holding ONI 163 in front of a potentially packed audience at Shinjuku Indoor Arena, Tokyo. Fighter Ben "Balls of " Stone, is looking for an opponent at the highly anticipated event and has even gone as far as too issue an open challenge to anybody brave enough to meet him inside the cage at ONI 163 for the ONI Welterweight (170lbs) title, as he attempts to regain what he feels he never truly lost!

The title is currently vacant and Stone has earned his shot at gold but owner Jamie Coton, who had been looking for an opponent to step forward, has yet been able to find a challenger for the man who when ONI seemingly finished was champion. This was when Ben showed he had real “Balls of” Stone and began to take things into his own hands, encouraging Cotton to allow him to face whoever may want to challenge him. While it is understood ONI would prefer Stone to face another competitor from inside of the organisation, they are open to allowing him to face a new talent coming in or a fighter from elsewhere who wants to face the Welterweight force.

Stone is a well-rounded fighter, who was made to leave his ONI welterweight title vacant when the company took its 8 month hiatus. Following this after a mildly successful run in the world’s number 2 promotion, Synchronicity, as his contract came up he made the jump back to the organization he sees as home – ONI upon its re-opening. After facing and beating Boy Bubby convincingly in his return to ONI on the second night of their resurrection, it was announced Stone would get a shot to re-claim the Welterweight title but now the challenge is finding him an opponent who can push him to the limits and maybe beyond. Who will step-up? We hope to find out shortly. All potential challengers are urged to PM Jamie Coton or post a challenge in the ONI Smack Talk thread.
