NFC 29 Bagrian vs Kinkeri Preview

Middleweight World Championship Bout

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (6-2) vs Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (7-1) 185lbs

This is an excellent match up for the title. Both fighters are coming in on long winning streaks and are looking for that to continue, as well as both wanting the belt. The current Champ Aslan Bagrian has a great ground game, and very good stand up to compliment it. The challenger prefers striking, but is very good himself on the ground. This should be a great fight.

Super Heavyweight World Championship

Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (7-1) vs Jesus "Holy" Pope (5-0) 265+lbs

The challenger, Jesus Pope is an undefeated ground fighter. He has very little stand up, but is deadly when it hits the floor. The champ, Boris Metusalem, is well rounded, but prefers to keep it standing. That is the key to this fight, whoever imposes their gameplan on the other will victorious.

Abdullah Virtanen (7-3) vs "The Red Hammer" Wladamir Kozlov (6-0) 265lbs

Both of these fighters are very well rounded, which should definitely mean a great fright. Virtanen comes in with more of a liking with striking just like his opponent Kozlov. Even though well rounded, Kozlov is a ways behind skills wise. It is a good thing the fights are not fought on paper, and Kozlov will be looking to extend his undefeated streak.

"Tohtori" Dave Dashoo (4-0) vs Krooninen Gracie (6-2) 185lbs

Dashoo is coming in undefeated and is willing to do anything to keep it that way. He prefers to stand, but has a nice little ground game if needed. In this fight, he will not want to go down, as Gracie is a stud on the floor. The brown belt has 6 wins, all coming from submissions. He lacks the stand up skills however. In essence, this should turn into a striker vs grappler type of fight.

Demian Silva (2-0) vs Kimbof Slice (4-3-1) 205lbs

There should be major fireworks in out next bout. Both fighter prefer stand up but are equals on the ground so it should be a competitive fight. Silva is entering this even winning his first 2 professional fights. Slice is wanting to turn things around as he has lost his last 2 and hasn’t been out of the opening 30 seconds of round 1 since January. This is too close to call, and should be very exciting.

George Dickson (4-0) vs "Downtown" Charlie Brown (5-4) 170lbs

Amigo "de" Cerveza (5-2) vs Nyrkki "The Second Coming" Hynynen (7-4) 185lbs

Masaru "The" Midget (2-0) vs Kake Luikku (3-1) 265+lbs

Rannanjarvi "häjy" Antti (7-5) vs Risto "The brown one" Ruskea (6-6-1) 185lbs

Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (0-3) vs Felix Doppler (1-2) 155lbs

NFC 29 Bagrian vs Kinkeri Recap

Event Rating: 133.14

Middleweight World Championship Bout

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (6-2) vs Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (7-1) 185lbs

What an amazing fight. Both of these guys brought it tonight. This was one of the most entertaining fights to write about that I have seen. Definitely deserved their 100% fight rating. Both figters came out swinging, and it looked like it might end early. Bagrian knocked Kinkeri to the floor just about 2 minutes into the 1st. He went down after a submission, but ould not get one. For the next 4 ½ rounds, these fighters got after it. It seemed like the 3 judges were so excited, they gave 3 completely different scores cuasing this fight to end in a draw. I can’t wait for the rematch.

The fight is ruled a draw! And still your Middleweight Champion of The World... Aslan Bagrian

Super Heavyweight World Championship

Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (7-1) vs Jesus "Holy" Pope (5-0) 265+lbs

Another championship fight, another 100% fight rating. This was another terrific fight on tonight’s card. Metusalem dominated this fight through the full 5 rounds getting the nod 49-46 on all the score cards. He managed to drop Pope early in the 1st round, but Pop showed tremendous heart in making a strong push. Pope just couldn’t capitalize once he got it to the ground.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... And Still Super Heavyweight Champion Of The World... Boris Metusalem

Abdullah Virtanen (7-3) vs "The Red Hammer" Wladamir Kozlov (6-0) 265lbs

Virtanen came out as the aggressor in this one. He was swinging wildly and also working in the clinch. Kozlov tried to maintain composure, but was overwhelmed in a very short period of time. Virtanen caught Kozlov with a flying knee that dropped him, then continued to punish until the ref stepped in and called an end to this fight. This was Kozlov’s first loss.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:54 of round 1... Abdullah Virtanen

"Tohtori" Dave Dashoo (4-0) vs Krooninen Gracie (6-2) 185lbs

In what would have to be called a major upset, Dashoo managed to stay undefeated by submitting Gracie in the 1 st round. The major upset comes because it was a blue belt subbing a black belt. That has to crush the confidence level of Gracie. Gracie started off the round by getting takedown of Dashoo. As he was positioning himself for a sub attempt, he got careless and got caught in a triangle that made him tap.

Winner by Submission (Triangle) 0:56 of round 1... Dave Dashoo

Demian Silva (2-0) vs Kimbof Slice (4-3-1) 205lbs

Silva moves on to (3-0) in his defeat of Slice. Silva came out super aggressive and just flat out punished Slice for the full 3 rounds. Slice barely could manage to get off any offensive strikes of his won. You still need to give him credit as he lasted all 3 rounds after punishment that he had took.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Demian Silva

George Dickson (4-0) vs "Downtown" Charlie Brown (5-4) 170lbs

Winner by KO (Punch) 0:40 of Round 1... Charlie Brown

Amigo "de" Cerveza (5-2) vs Nyrkki "The Second Coming" Hynynen (7-4) 185lbs

The fight is ruled a majority draw

Masaru "The" Midget (2-0) vs Kake Luikku (3-1) 265+lbs

Winner by KO (Knee) 0:30 of Round 1... Masaru Midget

Rannanjarvi "häjy" Antti (7-5) vs Risto "The brown one" Ruskea (6-6-1) 185lbs

Winner by Submission (Kneebar) 3:41 of Round 2... Risto Ruskea

Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (0-3) vs Felix Doppler (1-2) 155lbs

Winner by Submission (Strikes) 2:03 of Round 1... Raimo Tikkari

NFC 30 Unconscious vs Janis Preview

Already Unconscious (10-2) vs Pyyno "Rubber" Janis (7-1) 265lbs

This is a great match up for our main event of the evening. Both fighters are excellent well round individuals and are both towards the top in the title hunt. Unconscious comes in winning 8 of his last 9 and looking to continue on the right path. He is a great wrestler, has a brown belt, and has excellent boxing. He is a tough match up for anybody. Janis is no slouch however. He is coming off the only loss of his career in his last fight, but he definitely someone to be reckoned with. He is very comparable to his opponent as they are mirror images of each other on the ground. Unconscious does have the upper hand in the striking, and that could prove to be the difference in the fight.

Jokohama Humahuta (8-4) vs Oloff Larsen (7-1) 205lbs

Humahuta is a BAD man. He has a black belt and is always looking to rip an arm or a leg off of his opponent. He has good striking to back him up, but he will want this to end up on the floor. Larsen has the stand up advantage and will want to keep it on the feet. He will not want to test his opponent’s bjj. This is your normal run of the mill Striker vs Grappler match up.

Hannu Hantta "Hanhi" ( 7-3) vs Rolf Thorkildsen (5-2)155lbs

This should be a very competitive fight that we have here. Both fighters are very well rounded and are evenly matched. Hanhi will look to use his wrestling to gain an advantage, while his opponent Thorkildsen will be wanting to use his boxing. However, if the fight does hit the floor, Thorkildsen will have the advantage as he holds a brown belt in bjj.

Pertti Junttila (7-4) vs Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi (8-4) 185lbs

These two fighters are no strangers to each other, as they have fought before in the now defunct MMA Battleground. That championship fight ended with a 1st round KO for Makunouchi letting him retain his title. Junttila will be hoping for a different ending this time. He is going to want to avoid the stand up, but at the same time he will have to be careful on the ground. He does have the advantage there, but Makunouchi is no joke in his all around game. He is very dangerous in all aspects of the fight game. Should make for a great rematch.

Brett Landers (4-1) vs Syntha "Rainman" Six (6-4) 205lbs

Six has won 3 of his last 4 and is looking for another W. He has great boxing, but likes to do all of his damage on the ground, where 5 of his 6 wins are by way of submission. Landers also likes the ground game, but is more focused on his wrestling. He is one of the best wrestlers around and compliments it with good bjj and decent stand up.

Jimbo Stapelstaden (3-2) vs "Grammar" Osmo Ikola (3-1) 170lbs

"Big Bad Wolf" Samu Voutilainen (6-4) vs Clayman "Guida" Ironchin (4-1) 155lbs

Eino Juutilainen (5-5) vs "Jortsu" Jorma Kaki (3-4)155lbs

Tor Svensson (4-2) vs "Sniper" Jussi Koivusalo (5-5) 205lbs

Kalevi Kostaja (3-4-1) vs Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (2-3) 265lb

NFC 30 Unconscious vs Janis Review

Event Rating:144.04

Already Unconscious (10-2) vs Pyyno "Rubber" Janis (7-1) 265lbs

Janis improves to 8-1 with his dominating decision victory over Unconscious. He took every round but the 4th. He whooped his opponent on the ground and on the feet. Unconscious just couldn’t get much going in this one. In the end, the wrestling of Janis proved to be too much for his opponent.

Winner by Unanimous Decision...Pyyno "Rubber" Janis

Jokohama Humahuta (8-4) vs Oloff Larsen (7-1) 205lbs

Humahuta showed off his black belt by getting a submission win in this one. The fight was very one sided going into the 3rd round. Larsen had done more damage and was winning on the scorecards. In the 3rd, Larsen managed to connect on an overhand right that rocked Humahuta. Unfortunately, Larsen could not get the finish he was looking for. Humahuta went on to recover, and also got the takedown and started working for a submission. After a failed heel hook attempt, Larsen got back to top position, He couldn’y up and that was his downfall. It did not take long for Humahuta to lock in an armbar from the bottom and pull off the victory.

Winner by Submission (Armbar) 4:24 of round 3...Jokohama Humahuta

Hannu Hantta "Hanhi" ( 7-3) vs Rolf Thorkildsen (5-2)155lbs

Rolf Thorkildsen dominated this fight from start to finish. He showed great striking and kept his opponent at bay. Hantta tried to do some damage in the clinch, but just could do much. All 3 judges scored the fight 30-27 in favor of Thorkildsen.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Rolf Thorkildsen

Pertti Junttila (7-4) vs Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi (8-4) 185lbs

Just like in the first fight, Makunouchi came out victorious in this one. It was a very one sided contest as he dominated Junttila on the feet. It was never in question as Makunouchi dictated how and where the fight went.

Winner by KO (Punches) 1:05 of round 1...Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi

Brett Landers (4-1) vs Syntha "Rainman" Six (6-4) 205lbs

Six put on a great show with is KO victory tonight. He was picking his opponent apart on the feet, but was then taken down by Landers. Landers tried to work for a submission, but did not do enough as the ref stepped in and stood these 2 gladiators up. Six took advantage and continued to hammer Landers with punch after punch. After a failed takedown attempt by Landers, Six countered with a right hand that knocked his opponent out cold.

Winner by KO (Punch) 4:40 of round 1...Syntha "Rainman" Six

Jimbo Stapelstaden (3-2) vs "Grammar" Osmo Ikola (3-1) 170lbs

Winner by TKO (Cut) 3:26 of Round 2...Jimbo Stapelstaden

NFC 31 Aho vs Mortenson Preview

Welterweight Championship 170lbs

Martti Aho (9-3) vs Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (9-2)

This one is for all of the marbles. The challenger comes into this fight winning 9 of 10. Mortensson prefers the ground where he can use his sick bjj game. He has only one thing in mind, and that is to make his opponent tap. Aho, the current Champion, is a stands up specialist. Not too many can bang with him, as many have tried and most have failed. He is on a 3 fight win streak and will be looking for another KO finish to make it 4. Mortensson’s only chance is to get it to the ground, if not, he will be knocked into next week.

Unski Hallavaara (9-2) vs Matti "The Demented" Wanhanen (12-2) 205lbs

The current Light Heavyweight champ of TTC - LA comes in after losing his last fight that was a super fight over the Duel promotion. Before that, he had flexed his muscle by winning 11 fights in a row. He is looking to right the ship with this next bout. Wanahanen prefers working his ground game, but you must stay cautious of his boxing at all times. Hallavaara is just as well rounded, and that should lead to fireworks for this fight. He has very good boxing followed up by a great ground game. If it was up to him, he will add another KO victory to his total.

Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (7-2) vs Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (7-4) 170lbs

Both of these fighters know each other really well. This is a rematch from NFC 15 Kaurismaa vs Nurmi in which Nurmi submitted Kaurismaa in just 26 seconds to win the Welterweight title. It will be very interesting to see what changes Kaurismaa makes in this one. Kaurismaa, on paper looks to be the better fighter. The man has the boxing skill the is envied by all. He also has a good ground game, but has to lack the confidence to use it here. Nurmi is wanting a replay of the last fight. He will want it to go to the floor, and will be looking for another sub victory.

Pertti Peto (8-3) vs Ricardo"Tubbs" miami vice (4-2) 170lbs

Pertti Peto is a great fighter. He has excellent ability in all aspects of the fight world. He can beat you anywhere and always brings his A game. Vice on the other hand is pretty much one dimensional. He had great wrestling, but does lack in the stand up department. This fight will go to whoever dictates where it goes. Peto is coming in winng ing 4 of his last 5 and is wanting to get back into the title hunt.

Seppo Taalasmaa (7-5) vs Mikko "KeiOu" Tysooni (5-2) 205lbs

Both fighters come in on winning streaks, Tysooni 3 in a row, and Taalasmaa has won 2 in a row. The two will do anything to keep theirs respective streaks alive. These 2 warriors are very similar in the way they like to fight. Both have excellent boxing and this could turn into a great stand up war. Both are decent wrestlers, with Taalasmaa having the better ground game.

Gary "Sexual" Groper (4-3) vs Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (2-1) 185lbs

"Stick" Pencil Neck (6-4) vs "Punisher" Pauli Sankari (6-4) 170lbs

Jana "POLSKI" Kristin (4-3) vs Seppo Sulkijalihas (5-4)155lbs

Cross "The Life Taker" Yegar (1-0) vs Kenny "Krazy Horse" Bennett (3-3) 185lbs

NFC 32 Muna vs M Preview

Lightweight Championship 155lbs

Arto Muna (8-2) vs "The Unbelievable" Big M (6-1)

The current champ is riding a 4 fight win streak, and will look to his hands to keep it going. With some of the best striking in Europe, if Muna catches you, you normally do not survive. This fight should be no different. The challenger has his work cut out for him. M does present a great challenge to the champ, as he too has excellent stand up and a ground game that cause some damage. He is a purple belt, where as Muna had a brown belt, so even on the ground it should be very competitive.

Pekka "Venom" Topohanta (10-1) vs "Bollywood" Bulk Bogan (11-7) 265lbs

Current Heavyweight Champ Pekka Topohanta is one of the most feared strikers in all of Tycoon land. He had beastly kicks, knees, elbows, and punches. He is just flat out lethal on the feet. He comes into this fight winning 8 in a row, and is only getting better. Bogan has hands of stone and will be hoping to catch his opponent more than a few times en route to a KO W. He actually does have a decent sized advantage on the ground, so if he can get the fight there it could be curtains for Topohanta. I am very excited to see how this fight pays out.

James "Kakelberg" Dille (6-2) vs Brandon "Sledgehammer" Coleman (5-3) 265lbs

Dille is a striker with lethal hand and an underrated bjj ground game. He will ride his hands as far as they will take him. He is looking to get a devastating KO. Coleman is a ground oriented fighter with nice boxing to back him up. His goal in this fight is to get Dille down and pound on him and then submit him. This should turn into a striker vs grappler type matchup.

Lou Cifer Jr (8-7) vs T "DÆNASOR" Rex (7-4) 265lbs

Cifer Jr is riding a 2 fight win streak coming into this one. He is one of the best wrestlers in NFC, and will be looking to use that pound out another W. Rex also has good wrestling, but not as good as his opponent. He is going to have to be very smart in this fight and no telegraph his takedown attempts. Should be a very interesting fight.

Jamal "Power Bull" Quik (9-3) vs Felix Flashlighter (8-5) 170lbs

Quik comes in winning 3 of his last 4. His last loss was to current Champ Martti Aho. Quick has major skill in both the stand up and the ground game. He is a very good well rounded guy, and always makes for a tough opponent. Flashlighter is also very skilled in all areas. He prefers the staying on the feet, and has never finished. All of his losses are via decision. This has fight of the night written all over it.

"Virus" Tami Flu (4-3)vs Joonas "Pieni Sika" Saarinen (7-5)155lbs

Jouni Lettu (3-1) vs Ace "Detective" Ventura (4-3) 170lbs

Tomi "Velvet Semen" Ekbom (4-5) vs Antti "The Angel" Atleetti (3-5) 170lbs

"Steroider" Prusel Gammarix (10-8) vs Bubba "Tiny" Sparks (4-3) 265+lbs

Event Rating: 157:75

Welterweight Championship 170lbs

Martti Aho (9-3) vs Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (9-2)

Mortensson dominated this fight en route to becoming the new Welterweight Champion. He used his wrestling and bjj to make quick work of Aho. He got takedown after takedown and worked hard on subbing his opponent. Aho fought off the majority of the attempts, but got caught near the end of round 1. Mortensson got an arm isloated, and just cranked it as hard as he could causing Aho to tap.

Winner by Submission (Kimura) 4:55 of Round 1... And New Welterweight Champion Of The World...Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson

Unski Hallavaara (9-2) vs Matti "The Demented" Wanhanen (12-2) 205lbs

What an excellent fight! Both fighters put it all on the line in this 5 round war. Hallavaara comes out victorious, but Wanhanen gave him all he could possibly want. Both fighters went for it all on the ground and on the feet. Hallavaara got the nod due to being a little more active and causing a little more damage.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Unski Hallavaara

Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (7-2) vs Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (7-4) 170lbs

Can you say rubber match? In a rematch of a previous fight, Kaurismaa got his revenge and won by decision. He dominated Nurmi for all 3 rounds. The fight was not ever close, but you do have to give Nurmi a little bit of credit as he managed to last the full 15 minutes. Kaurismaa used his stand up to keep his opponent at bay and just peppered with him with punches and kicks for the whole fight.

Winner by Unanimous Decision...Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa

Pertti Peto (8-3) vs Ricardo"Tubbs" Miami Vice (4-2) 170lbs

Miami Vice made quick qork of his opponent in this one. He got the quick takedown and started working subs. On only his 2nd attempt he managed to isolate an arm and lock in an Americana. Peto refused to tap but was screaming in pain, so the ref actually had to step in and save him from having his arm torn off.

Winner by Submission (Americana) 1:01 of Round 1...Ricardo"Tubbs" Miami Vice

Seppo Taalasmaa (7-5) vs Mikko "KeiOu" Tysooni (5-2) 205lbs

Tysooni keeps his winning streak alive with his impressive finish of Taalasmaa in this one. He took a decent beating to start with, but never gave up and came back strong in the closing minutes of the 1st. He used the clinch to his advantage actually to end the fight. He used beautiful dirty boxing to accomplish it. It was an awesome right hand that ended the night for Taalasmaa.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 4:03 of Round 1... Mikko "KeiOu" Tysooni

Gary "Sexual" Groper (4-3) vs Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (2-1) 185lbs

NFC 32 Muna vs M Recap

Event Rating: 158:85

Lightweight Championship 155lbs

Arto Muna (8-2) vs "The Unbelievable" Big M (6-1)

They say to never leave the fight in the hands of the judges, and this fight is a definition of why. In a fight that looked to all like Muna won all rounds, the judges gave it to Big M.by split decision. There has got to be a rematch in this one, as the judges blew it. Muna was the more dominating fighter and caused more damage. I would like to know what fight the judges were watching. With that being said, congrats to the new champ, who had fought very hard and deserves the accolades.

Winner by Split Decicion... And New Lightweight Champion Of The World... "The Unbelievable" Big M

Pekka "Venom" Topohanta (10-1) vs "Bollywood" Bulk Bogan (11-7) 265lbs

Topohanta looked impressive on his way to his 9th straight victory. He had won all rounds by 10-8 scores which is one of the most lopsided victories in all of MMA. He used his excellent kicks and elbows to gain the W in this fight. Bogan just could not connect with any of his strikes, and once tha happened, he knew he was in for a long night.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Pekka "Venom" Topohanta

James "Kakelberg" Dille (6-2) vs Brandon "Sledgehammer" Coleman (5-3) 265lbs

Coleman came out looking strong in this one. He dominated round 1 with great ground and pound. He just could not finish Dille when he had the chance. That was a huge mistake as well. As Dille came out and made quick work in the 2nd round. Dille unleashed his hands and dropped Coleman less than a minute into the 2nd round. The ref had to step in and save Coleman. Yet another good turn around for a fighter who looked finished.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:59 of Round 2... James "Kakelberg" Dille

Lou Cifer Jr (8-7) vs T "DÆNASOR" Rex (7-4) 265lbs

This was a crazy fight. Cifer Jr pummeled Rex for the entire 1st round.. He hit him with everything he had and managed to drop him a couple times. Somehow Rex managed to make it out of round 1. The 2nd round was a whole other story. Rex took Cifer down at will and just beat on him and tried for the sub whenever he got the chance. Rex got ahold of an arm, and locked in a beautiful armbar that ended this fight. What a comeback!

Winner by Submission (Armbar) 2:58 of Round 2... T "DÆNASOR" Rex

Jamal "Power Bull" Quik (9-3) vs Felix Flashlighter (8-5) 170lbs

Flashlighter brought his A game in this one as he made quick work of Quik. He crushed him on the stand up, and Quik had no answers. Flashlighter hit Quik with a nasty uppercut that knocked Quik out cold. Impressive W there for Flashlighter.

Winner by KO (Punch) 1:14 of Round 1...Felix Flashlighter

NFC 33 Sobchak vs Unconscious Preview

"You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (7-0) vs Already Unconscious (10-3) 265lbs

The undefeated Sobchak will do whatever it takes to go to 8-0. He likes to rely on his striking ability and use his wrestling to keep the fight standing. If he can do that here, he does have a decent chance to get that 8th W. Unconscious has different plans however. He is coming off a loss, so he is wanting to rebound nicely. He is the opposite of his opponent in which he loves to fight on the ground, and uses his strong boxing to set up takedowns. Striker vs Grappler is the name of this game and should be a great one.

Stringer Bell (10-4) vs Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (7-1-1)185lbs

Stringer Bell is a very skilled well rounded guy. He has the tools to beat you all over the place. There is not one place in the fight where his opponent should feel safe. Kinkeri is just like his opponent in that he is very good all over. He has the better striking, but lacks a little in the ground game against Bell. It should be interesting to see how each fighter sets their plan. The littlest mistake could mean game over!

Oiva Tuominen (9-5) vs Anthony Creaturos (6-2)185lbs

Tuominen is a black belt who strikes fear in the eyes of his opponents as they all know if it touches the floor, it could be over at any time. He has decent boxing to help set up his bjj. Creaturos is a very good grappler as well, but in this one he should look to use his boxing advantage to get the W. He may be good on the ground, but Tuominen is on a whole other level.

Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr (4-0) vs "Heartless Bitch" Krooninen Gracie (6-3) 185lbs

The undefeated Ingi Jr had won his fist 4 professional fights, and sees no reason to stop there. He brings top notch striking with good wrestling and bjj. He can beat you wherever the fight may go. Gracie is one of the best bjj practitioners in the world. He will use his black belt to his advantage any chance he gets. The problem is he has very little stand up, and that could really hurt him against his opponent.

Jesus "Holy" Pope (5-1) vs Aalio "idiootti" Paalio (5-2) 265+lbs

Pope is coming in off of his first loss, following winning 5 in a row including a 2nd round TKO victory over his opponent Aalio Paalio. He will be looking for a repeat performance in this one. Pope will look to his stellar wrestling to help him. Paalio is looking for a different outcome this time around. He will want to stay away from the ground and pound, and look to capitalize with his excellent boxing. If he can keep it on the feet, he has a real chance to make this 1-1 between these two warriors.

Masaru "The" Midget (3-0) vs Martial Arts (5-4) 265+lbs

Peter "Shower" North (4-2) vs Simo "Mujahed" Rantalainen (4-3) 265lbs

Jeet Kun Do (4-4) vs Kake Luikku (3-2) 265+lbs

"Meatball" Ron Jeremy (2-1) vs Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (3-3) 265lbs

Prashanth "Chintu" Maadala (5-8-1) vs Adam "The Millenium Earl" Noah (0-2) 205lbs

NFC 33 Sobchak vs Unconscious Review

Event Rating: 139:08

"You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (7-0) vs Already Unconscious (10-3) 265lbs

Unconscious used his excellent wrestling to give Sobchak his first ever loss in this short lived main event. Both fighters went for it all and were both were bloodied and beaten. In the beginning stages, the fight stayed on the feet where Sobchak showed his superior skill and opened a deep cut on his opponent. Unconscious had enough of the stand up and then went to his bread and butter, his wrestling. He got the takedown whenever he wanted and used vicious ground and pound to carve up his opponent. So much so that the doctor called an end to the fight due to the severity of the cut.

Winner by TKO (Cut) 2:30 of round 1... Already Unconscious

Stringer Bell (10-4) vs Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (7-1-1)185lbs

This fight definitely deserved it’s 100% rating. Both fighters let it all go in this very quick and hard hitting matchup. Both came out swinging and very aggressive. Kinkeri had the better and more accurate strikes which resulted in him getting the W in this one. He got a couple knockdowns including one from the monsterous left hook that pretty much ended the fight.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:48 of round 1... Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri

Oiva Tuominen (9-5) vs Anthony Creaturos (6-2)185lbs

Creaturos absolutely ran through Tuominen on his way to his 7th victory. He came out swinging and connected with punch after punch en route to a very quick tko W. Tuominen never stood a chance on the feet, and it showed in this fight.

Winner by TKO (Punches) 0:52 of round 1... Anthony Creaturos

Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr (4-0) vs "Heartless Bitch" Krooninen Gracie (6-3) 185lbs

This was a tale of 2 rounds. Gracie controlled the entire 1st round and showed his bjj skill in the domination. Even though he looked really good however, he could not finish his opponent and it went to the 2nd round. As the next round started, Ingi let his hands go a little more. It did not take long for him to put the lights out of Gracie, as it took 30 seconds for the KO.

Winner by TKO (Punches) 0:30 of Round 2... Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr

Jesus "Holy" Pope (5-1) vs Aalio "idiootti" Paalio (5-2) 265+lbs

Pope got the repeat performance he was looking for in this fight. For the 2nd time in his career, he got a 2nd round TKO victory over Paalio. This time it came from a doctor’s stoppage due to a cut. He will take the W either way, and that cut was just plain nasty. Pope use excellent ground and pund to control the fight as well as do all the damage needed to have this fight stopped. Paalio never really had a chance in this one as spent most of his time on his back. Pure domination in this fight by Pope.

Winner by TKO (Cut) 3:33 of round 2... Jesus "Holy" Pope

Masaru "The" Midget (3-0) vs Martial Arts (5-4) 265+lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:33 of Round 1... Masaru "The" Midget

Peter "Shower" North (4-2) vs Simo "Mujahed" Rantalainen (4-3) 265lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:27 of Round 1... Peter "Shower" North

Jeet Kun Do (4-4) vs Kake Luikku (3-2) 265+lbs

Winner by Submission (Anaconda Choke) 4:04 of Round 1... Kake Luikku

"Meatball" Ron Jeremy (2-1) vs Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (3-3) 265lbs

Winner by TKO (Cut) 2:15 of Round 3... "Meatball" Ron Jeremy

Prashanth "Chintu" Maadala (5-8-1) vs Adam "The Millenium Earl" Noah (0-2) 205lbs

Winner by Submission (Guillotine) 0:37 of Round 1... Prashanth "Chintu" Maadala

NFC 34 Hallavaara vs Humahuta Preview

Unski Hallavaara (10-2) vs Jokohama Humahuta (9-4) 205lbs

Striker vs grappler in this one. We got the bjj whiz kid black belt Humahuta taking on the experienced and hard hitting boxer Unski Hallavaara . Hallavaara has won 4 of his last 5 fights and wants to keep the momentum he has spent his young career building. Humahuta has no fared has well losing 2 of 3. It should be a good one.

Super Heavyweight Championship 265+

Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (8-1) vs Aalio Paalio II (6-1)

Our title event pits 2 fighters who are very familiar with each other as they just fought at NFC 23 Aho vs Quik back in March. Current Champ Boris Metusalem only took a little over 1 minute to KO Paalio in the last contest. He will look to his Boxing again to help him retain the strap. Paalio has only one way to win this, and that is to get it to the ground and work submissions. He has his work cut out for him and it will be interesting to see how this rematch goes.

Valdemar Kosonen (6-2) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (7-4) 155lbs

Hantta comes in losing 2 of 3 after starting out his professional career so well. He is really hoping to turn his career around and will need to use his wrestling and ground and pound to do so. Kosonen is coming in after losing his last fight which was for the title. He will also look to his wrestling to gain the advantage. If he can get it to the ground, he will use his superior bjj to submit his opponent.

Pertti Junttila (7-5) vs Amigo "de" Cerveza (5-2-1) 185lbs

Cerveza doesn’t really have any skills that jump out at you, but he also is not bad at anything either. He can beat you in a number of ways, and is a very decent fighter. Junttila comes in more experienced, but is also riding a 3 fight losing streak. He needs a W to get his confidence back. He has the upper hand in boxing, wrestling, and bjj in this fight. He really should have no issues winning this fight, but it will be interesting to see if he comes in with his head on straight.

Pekka "Teufel" Perkele (5-3) vs Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (8-2) 205lbs

Rupunen is a well rounded guy who has had a lot of success throughout his career. He prefers working on the ground trying for submissions, and I do not see why he would deviate from that in this one. Perkele has lost his last 3 fights after starting out 5-0. He really needs a W here to keep his sanity. He is like his opponent in that he has well rounded and can beat you anywhere. Is should be an interesting fight.

Rannanjarvi "häjy" Antti (7-6) vs Viljo "Niskalenkki" Multanen (6-5) 175lbs

Al "Put It" Inyourbutt (3-1) vs Jarno Psykonautti (4-2) 205lbs

Emil Pasanen (5-4) vs Jeff "Snowman" Momson (3-1) 205lbs

Ilmo "Laardi" kolho (2-7) vs maximus "the gladiator" meridius (4-6) 265+ lbs

Yu "The Exocrist" Kanda (1-1) vs Uzumaki "Fox" Naruto (3-3) 170lbs

NFC 34 Hallavaara vs Humahuta Review

Event Rating: 140.33

Unski Hallavaara (10-2) vs Jokohama Humahuta (9-4) 205lbs

Unski Hallavaara indeed used his superior striking skills to win this fight. He used devastating hands and lethal kicks in his demolition of Humahuta. He landed strikes at will and punished his opponent for the full 3 rounds. Humahuta gave good effort but just could not get the fight down to the ground where he could use his bjj.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Unski Hallavaara

Super Heavyweight Championship 265+

Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (8-1) vs Aalio Paalio II (6-1)

In almost an exact replica of the first fight, Boris Metusalem made quick work of Paalio II to retain his Superweight Championship. Paalio II got the quick takedown but could not do anything and caused the ref to step in and stand up the fighters. That was all she wrote for Paalio II, as Metusalem overpowered his opponent. He just started throwing bombs connecting at will o his way to a KO victory.

Winner by KO (Strikes) 1:53 of round 1... And Still Super Heavyweight Champion Of The World... Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem

Valdemar Kosonen (6-2) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (7-4) 155lbs

Valdemar Kosonen owned the fight for the 1st 2 rounds. He used his boxing, wrestling, and ground and pound to keep his opponent at bay. Hantta made a strong comeback in the 3rd, but it was too little too late as the judges ruled in favor of Kosonen. Both fighters stayed very active throughout the fight and were very entertaining.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Valdemar Kosonen

Pertti Junttila (7-5) vs Amigo "de" Cerveza (5-2-1) 185lbs

Amigo Cerveza took little time carving up his opponent like Freddy Kreuger. He came out super aggressive and landing shot after shot to the head. A little under 4 minutes into the fight the Doctor was brought in and had to call the fight due to the severity of the cut.

Winner by TKO (Cut) 2:44 of round 1... Amigo "de" Cerveza

Pekka "Teufel" Perkele (5-3) vs Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (8-2) 205lbs

Perkele easily ran through Rupunen in this one. Just a few seconds into the fight Perkele dropped his opponent with a right left combo. The strikes caused a huge cur over the eye of Rupunen. Perkele followed Rupunen to the ground looking for a sub win. Rupunen gained composure and started working for subs of his won. However he was a little nonchalant , and got caught in a guillotine from hell forcing him to give up.

Winner by Submission (Guillotine) 1:26 of round 1... Pekka "Teufel" Perkele

Rannanjarvi "häjy" Antti (7-6) vs Viljo "Niskalenkki" Multanen (6-5) 175lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Viljo "Niskalenkki" Multanen

Al "Put It" Inyourbutt (3-1) vs Jarno Psykonautti (4-2) 205lbs

Winner by Submission (RNC) 3:01 of Round 2... Al "Put It" Inyourbutt

Emil Pasanen (5-4) vs Jeff "Snowman" Momson (3-1) 205lbs

Winner by Submission (Kimura) 2:19 of Round 2... Emil Pasanen

Ilmo "Laardi" kolho (2-7) vs maximus "the gladiator" meridius (4-6) 265+ lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... maximus "the gladiator" meridius

Yu "The Exocrist" Kanda (1-1) vs Uzumaki "Fox" Naruto (3-3) 170lbs

Winner by Submission (RNC) 4:57 of Round 3... Yu "The Exocrist" Kanda

NFC 35 Bagrian vs Kinkeri 2

Middleweight Championship 185lbs

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (6-2-1) vs Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (8-1-1)

This is the rematch we have all been waiting for. The last fight ended in a draw and is easily one of the top fights of the year thus far. Aslan Bagrian is ready to do anything it takes to finish Kinkeri in this one. He wants to not only retain his title, but wants to prove the last fight was a fluke. He will try to get this to the ground as often as he can, as he is deadly with his bjj. Kinkeri on the other hand will look to keep it standing where he as the edge on the feet. He still feels that he gets no respect from his showing in the first fight, and is planning on taking that out on the current champ.

Martti Aho (9-4) vs Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (8-2) 170lbs

We have a strikers delight in this next match up. 2 of the most deadly and feared boxers in all of Tycoon land. Not one of you should blink, as you could miss the KO of the year if you do. Kaurismaa is riding a 2 fight win streak and holds a very impressive record through the beginning stages of his career. With 5 of his 8 wins coming from form of KO, you must be very leery of his hands. Aho has even deadlier striking than that of Kaurismaa. He is coming off a championship bout loss, and he is out for blood. This fight really should not last long.

"Tohtori" Dave Dashoo (5-0) vs Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi (9-4) 185lbs

Makunouchi is one of the better well rounded fighters in NFC. He has the skill to pull off a W from wherever he wants. He has alternated wins and losses in last few fights, but don’t let that fool you. He is still a top fighter. His opponent has exploded on the scene here in NFC. He has won his 2 previous fights within the Org and his first 5 professional fights. He a bright up and comer with good all around skills. From looking at the skills however, it just does not appear that he matches up well against Makunouchi.

Oloff Larsen (7-2) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (6-2) 205lbs

This is another fight that I am really looking forward to. Both guys have great all around skills and always fight their hearts out. Tysooni is riding a career best 4 fight win streak. He would love to keep the fight on the feet so he can showcase his deadly hands. Larsen is looking to rebound from his last fight in which he lost by 3rd round submission. He has great hands as well, but is definitely the better wrestler. If he wants the W, he should use that to his advantage.

Syntha "Rainman" Six (7-4) vs Seppo Taalasmaa (7-6) 205lbs

Do not let the records fool you on this next fight. Even though he sits at 7-6, Taalasmaa is a very good fighter. He has very good striking and wrestling skills, and can finish fights at any time. His opponent, is in a similar situation. He is a much better fighter than his record indicates. Six has good striking, but does most of his damage on the ground with his stellar bjj. In this fight whoever can dictate where the fight goes, should be able to pull out the W.

"Big Bad Wolf" Samu Voutilainen (7-4) vs Vesku Torni (6-5) 155lbs

Clayman "Guida" Ironchin (4-2) vs Eino Juutilainen (6-5) 155lbs

Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (1-3) vs Seppo Sulkijalihas (5-5) 155lbs

Felix Doppler (1-3) vs "Jortsu" Jorma Khaki (3-5) 155lbs

"Steroider" Prusel Gammarix (10-9) vs Artturi "AIV" Virtanen (7-3) 265+ lbs

NFC 36 M vs Thorkildsen Preview

Lightweight Championship 155lbs

"The Unbelievable" Big M (7-1) vs Rolf Thorkildsen (6-2)

his is a great main event we have here. It is for the Lightweight Championship which is currently held by "The Unbelievable" Big M.. Big M is the real deal and is deadly anywhere within the cage. He has awesome striking, but most of his wins have come by submission, where he holds an underrated purple belt. He is going for his 4th straight victory. The challenger Rolf Thorkildsen is almost a carbon copy of his opponent. He has great hands, but is even better on the ground. This fight is way too even to call anyone a favorite, and should end up being one of the better fights on this talent rich card.

Felix Flashlighter (9-5) vs Jouni Lettu (4-1) 170 lbs

Jouni Lettu is one of the many young studs that call NFC their home. All 5 of his fights have been in the NFC and he has been very impressive in each one racking up 4 wins in his 5 tries. He loeves to use his striking in order the gain the upper hand, but do not sleep on his bjj game. He has the skill to pull off the submission victory. His opponent has way more experience and has been around the block quite a few times. Winner of 3 of his last 4 fights, Felix Flashlighter is a great all around fighter. He great skills across the board and will look to take advantage of the newer fighter.

Abdullah Virtanen (8-3) vs James "Kakelberg" Dille (7-2) 265lbs

Another great, too close to call fight in this one. Dille and Virtanen have both been very successful in their young careers. They are very similar in their fighting styles. Both hold purple belts and are not afraid to make you tap. In the stand up is where things differ. Dille is a great boxer, while Virtanen has awesome Muay Thai. This should be a slobber knocker.

Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (7-5) vs Pertti Peto (8-4) 170lbs

Pertti Peto, managed by the great Max McRiot, is one of the most promising young fighters in the world. With awesome skills across the board and at such a young age, the sky is the limit for this phenom. He has started his career a little slower than he had planned, but I see big bright things in the future for the kid His opponent Fernando Nurmi is a decent wrestler with good bjj. 5 of his 7 wins have come by submission. He is clearly outmatched in this fight, but fights are not won and lost on paper, and Nurmi will be looking to prove that theory in this one.

Jimbo Stapelstaden (4-2) vs "Downtown" Charlie Brown (6-4) 170lbs

Downtown is a vicious striker who will be looking to let his hands go. He always makes for an exciting fight as only 1 of his 10 fights has lasted the whole allotted time. He is as dangerous as they come while standing. His opponent is built from the same clothe which will only make this fight that much more entertaining. Someone is going to get knocked out, and it will be glorious.

Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (3-1) vs Nyrkki "The Second Coming" Hynynen (7-4-1) 185lbs

Ace "Detective" Ventura (4-4) vs "Stick" Pencil Neck (7-4) 170lbs

Viking "Berserker" Fighter (2-1) vs "Punisher" Pauli Sankari (6-5) 170lbs

"Grammar" Osmo Ikola (3-2) vs George Dickson (4-1) 170lbs

Dharaman Sabdulalaika (4-2) vs Bruno Valfrid Ahlberg (4-4) 185lbs

NFC 35 Bagrian vs Kinkeri 2 Review

Middleweight Championship 185lbs

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (6-2-1) vs Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (8-1-1)

Just like the 1st fight, this rematch did not disappoint. Although in this one, there was an actual winner. The fight was close the whole way through, although the judges ruled 50-45 across the board in favor of the winner. This was a another stand up war that had the fans on their feet for the entire 25 minutes. It earned fight of the night and is very well deserved. Kinkeri used stellar MT skills to defeat the champion. He landed over 90 % of leg kicks thrown which took its toll on Bagrian. Over 50 kicks landed. Kinkeri also abused Bagrian in the clinch. At some point, we will end up seeing the 3rd fight I would assume.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... And New Middleweight Champion Of The World... Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri

Martti Aho (9-4) vs Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (8-2) 170lbs

We definitely got our moneys worth in this last fight. When the fight was announced, everyone knew it would be a striking battle, and no one was left disappointed. Both fighters stood toe to toe for 15 minutes and just beat the hell out of one another. Kaurismaa was more aggressive as Aho looked to counter. Aho landed the better percentage of strikes as well as landing more total strikes in the boxing area. Where this fight was won was in the clinch game. Kaurismaa worked the clinch to perfection with dirty boxing. So much so that the all the judges gave him the slight nod in 2 of the 3 rounds.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa

"Tohtori" Dave Dashoo (5-0) vs Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi (9-4) 185lbs

Makunouchi has handed Dashoo his first ever career loss, and it was a statement that was made. Dashoo only lasted long enough to try for one takedown that was stuffed before he was dropped and then needed the Ref to step in and save him. Makunouchi came out very aggressive and it worked for him in this fight. After the two fighters exchanged misses for a few throws, Makunouchi landed an uppercut that dropped Dashoo. Makunouchi then pounced and landed even more strikes once it hit the floor causing the ref to call a stop to the violence.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:11 of Round 1... Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi

Oloff Larsen (7-2) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (6-2) 205lbs

Tysooni keeps his streak alive by getting the very fast KO of Larsen. It only lasted a little over 30 seconds into the first round, but Tysooni did all kinds of damage. He opened up a massive cut on Larsen’s face, and just kept firing at him with all kinds of shots. He landed a crisp combo that dropped Larsen, but Tysooni let him up only to land an uppercut that KO’d Larsen shortly after. Mikko Tysooni won KO of the night, and rightfully so in this one.

Winner by KO (Punch) 0:36 of Round 1... "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni

Syntha "Rainman" Six (7-4) vs Seppo Taalasmaa (7-6) 205lbs

Six came out on fire. He connected with pretty much everything he threw. He picked Taalasmaa apart with crisp combos and power shots. Early in the 2nd round, Six threw a massive hook that dropped Taalasmaa like a sack of potatoes knocking him out cold.

Winner by KO (Punch) 1:36 of Round 2... Syntha "Rainman" Six

"Big Bad Wolf" Samu Voutilainen (7-4) vs Vesku Torni (6-5) 155lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:55 of Round 1... Vesku Torni

Clayman "Guida" Ironchin (4-2) vs Eino Juutilainen (6-5) 155lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Clayman "Guida" Ironchin

Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (1-3) vs Seppo Sulkijalihas (5-5) 155lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Seppo Sulkijalihas

Felix Doppler (1-3) vs "Jortsu" Jorma Khaki (3-5) 155lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Felix Doppler

"Steroider" Prusel Gammarix (10-9) vs Artturi "AIV" Virtanen (7-3) 265+ lbs

Winner by KO (Strikes) 0:29 of Round 1... Artturi "AIV" Virtanen

NFC 36 M vs Thorkildsen Review

Lightweight Championship 155lbs

"The Unbelievable" Big M (7-1) vs Rolf Thorkildsen (6-2)

What a great fight we had here, although it did not last very long. Thorkildsen came in did his thing and left as the new Lightweight Champion. The match started with both fighters striking and then Big M working in the clinch. Thorkildsen broke the clinch and immediately threw a quick combo that connected and dropped Big M. He quickly pounced and grabbed an arm and worked an arm triangle, then switched to an armbar that forced the champ to tap out. Rolf Thorkildsen improves to 7-2 and takes home the Submission Of The Night Award, but more importantly...

Winner by Submission (Armbar) 0:57 of round 1... And New Lightweight Champion Of The World... Rolf Thorkildsen

Felix Flashlighter (9-5) vs Jouni Lettu (4-1) 170 lbs

Felix Flashlighter picked up his 10th career victory by pulling out a dominating decision win in this one. He picked Lettu apart in the stand up game and just flat out punished him for 15 minutes. You have to give credit to Lettu, in that he took the beating and did not give up. Flashlighter worked beautiful strikes and mixed in a takedown or two just to keep his opponent honest. Great performance put on by Flashlighter.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Felix Flashlighter

Abdullah Virtanen (8-3) vs James "Kakelberg" Dille (7-2) 265lbs

This was the fight of the night as well as seeing Abdullah Virtanen pick up the KO Of The Night award. It did not last too long, but while it did both fighters went after it. It was the striking battle we all thought we would see. Virtanen used his MT to get the W and the KO of Dille when he landed a right and then mounted and opponent and pounded him out causing the ref to step in and call an end to the carnage.

Winner by TKO (Punches) 2:55 of round 1... Abdullah Virtanen

Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (7-5) vs Pertti Peto (8-4) 170lbs

Nurmi turned this fight into a grappling match resembling something out of an Abu Dhabi tournament. He got the takedowns at will and both fighters took turns throwing up submissions for the entire fight. The fighters each split the first two rounds but Nurmi threw up a hailmary that landed and made Peto tap with only 2 seconds left in the 3rd round by Kimura.

Winner by Submission (Kimura) 4:58 of Round 3... Fernando "Nando" Nurmi

Jimbo Stapelstaden (4-2) vs "Downtown" Charlie Brown (6-4) 170lbs

Well, we did not get the knockout that we all thought we would in this one. But we all were not disappointed either. For 15 minutes, these 2 gladiators went at it and beat the crap out of each other. Stapelstaden was the more active fighter landing more strikes, working in the clinch, and on the ground. He takes it by Unanimous Decision scored 29-28.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Jimbo Stapelstaden

Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (3-1) vs Nyrkki "The Second Coming" Hynynen (7-4-1) 185lbs

NFC 37 Mortenson vs Kaurismaa Preview

Welterweight Championship 170lbs

Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (10-2) vs Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (9-2)

We have a great main event here for all of you when the champ Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson takes on the challenger Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa for the NFC Welterweight Championship. Kaurismaa comes in on a 3 fight winning streak and is looking to score a KO victory. He is one of the better strikers in the NFC and holds a definitive advantage over the champ in that department. Mortensson comes in winning 5 fight in a row with 3 of them by submission. He is a submission fighter who has very good wrestling to back it up. It will be your classic striker vs grappler match up.

Teuvo "Helsinki City Boy" Loman (8-3) vs Anthony Creaturos (7-2) 185lbs

We have a couple of grapplers in our nest match up. Loman is a brown belt who hold 6 submission victories. He has ok striking and good wrestling as a back up to him. You have to be very alert anytime you are on the floor with him. His opponent likes to fight on the ground as well, but in a different capacity. He is a very wrestlers who loves to use ground and pound to finish his fights. He has decent bjj, but needs to be very careful in this one if he follows his same old gameplan.

Stringer Bell (10-5) vs Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr (5-0) 185lbs

Bell enters this fight riding a 2 fight win streak. He needs to turn things around and get headed in the right direction. He is a brown belt who holds 8 submission wins with a very good boxing background as well. Even though in a downfall, he is still very dangerous. Ingi Jr on the other hand comes in undefeated in his young professional career at 5-0. He is a good all around fighter who like to use his boxing, but has decent wrestling and good bjj as well. He is one of the bright young up and comers here that NFC has to offer.

Jesus "Holy" Pope (6-1) vs Masaru "The" Midget (4-0) 265+lbs

This is my favorite fight on the card. Pope is a wonderful fighter on the ground and uses his world class type wrestling to get it there. He is a beast once he gets the fight to the ground and loves to punish his opponents with hammer fists and elbows. His opponent comes in undefeated winning his first 4 fights. Midget likes to keep his fights standing. He has 4 KO/TKO victories so you know he has excellent striking ability. This will be a great fight and will depend on whoever gets the fight they want.

Oiva Tuominen (9-6) vs "Heartless Bitch" Krooninen Gracie (6-4) 185lbs

We have another grapplers delight for you all in this one. These two fighters hold a combined 15 wins together and 14 of those are by submission. Tuominen is a black belt who enters losing 4 out of his last 4 fights. Gracie is a balck belt who has lost his last 2. Something has got to give in this fight when these two bjj whiz kids take on each other. It should be entertaining to say the least.

Lou Cifer Jr (8-8) vs Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (5-4) 265lbs

Tor Svensson (4-3) vs Kyoto Machine (4-4) 205lbs

Roman "Dog" Powertseski (4-4) vs Simo "Mujahed" Rantalainen (4-4) 265lbs

Erling Mathias Havna (5-2) vs Jeet Kun Do (4-5) 265+lbs

Veijo Kala (1-3) vs Prashanth "Chintu" Maadala (6-8-1) 185lbs

NFC 37 Mortenson vs Kaurismaa Review

Event Rating: 145.57

Welterweight Championship 170lbs

Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (10-2) vs Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (9-2)

Mortensson retains his title with a dominating yet boring decision victory over the challenger Arne Kaurismaa. He got his takedowns and worked his ground and pound and submission game to get the W. Kaurismaa had no answer for Mortensson’s wrestling as he was taken down 9 times throughout the fight. Kaurismaa had his moments on the feet, but couldn’t even land 5% of his strikes attempted. It was a sloppy showing for both, but Mortensson will take a W anyway he can get it.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... And Still Welterweight Champion Of The World... Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson

Teuvo "Helsinki City Boy" Loman (8-3) vs Anthony Creaturos (7-2) 185lbs

For the first 2 rounds we got to see the grappling match we expected. Creaturos won both rounds by getting his takedowns and controlling his opponent. He could not finish Loman, so we go to a 3rd. In what was a surprise to all of us, the 2 fighters stood and traded strikes in the 3rd round. Creaturos got the best of his opponent on the feet picking him apart for a little over 3 minutes. He landed a beautiful right left combo to KO his opponent later on in the round.

Winner by KO (Punches) 3:51 of Round 3... Anthony Creaturos (KO and Fight Of The Night)

Stringer Bell (10-5) vs Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr (5-0) 185lbs

Another undefeated goes down as Bell get the 1st round stoppage on Ingi Jr. For the first 2 minutes these two fighters stood toe to toe and banged. Neither fight really did much damage or even landed many strikes. Bell then shot in and got the takedown. From there he just tried to work for submissions. He failed and the ref stood both back up, only for Bell to get another quick takedown. After a failed sub attempt from each fighter, Bell managed to hit a hip escape and isolate an arm turning into an armbar forcing Ingi to tap.

Winner by Submission (Armbar) 4:58 of Round 1... Stringer Bell (Submission Of The Night)

Jesus "Holy" Pope (6-1) vs Masaru "The" Midget (4-0) 265+lbs

Pope hands Midget his first loss of his career following his 2nd round submission due to strikes victory. Pope got the takedowns he wanted and worked his ground and pound from the start. He couldn’t finish, so we go the 2nd round. Pope got the takedown right at the start of the 2nd, and then went to town on Midget. It was a big elbow that rocked Midget followed by a massive blow to the head that caused Midget to tap due to the pain.

Winner by Submission (Strikes) 0:44 of round 2... Jesus "Holy" Pope

Oiva Tuominen (9-6) vs "Heartless Bitch" Krooninen Gracie (6-4) 185lbs

Fans were not disappointed with this one. We all expected a great grappling match, and we got it. Gracie owned the first round getting takedowns at will, but just could not lock in a submission. Tuominen did a great job of fighting off his back and even trying to lock in subs of his own. The 2nd round started the same as the first with Gracie getting a quick takedown. After the two fighters exchange failed sub attempts, Gracie has a brain fart and gets stuck in an armbar tht forces him to tap or suffer a broken arm.

Winner by Submission (Armbar) 2:39 of round 2... Oiva Tuominen

Lou Cifer Jr (8-8) vs Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (5-4) 265lbs

Winner by Submission (Triangle) 1:27 of Round 1... Roddy "Big Time" Bowes

Tor Svensson (4-3) vs Kyoto Machine (4-4) 205lbs

Winner by Submission (RNC) 3:02 of Round 1... Tor Svensson

Roman "Dog" Powertseski (4-4) vs Simo "Mujahed" Rantalainen (4-4) 265lbs

Winner by Submission (Guillotine) 1:32 of Round 1... Simo "Mujahed" Rantalainen

Erling Mathias Havna (5-2) vs Jeet Kun Do (4-5) 265+lbs

Winner by Submission (Triangle Choke) 1:37 of Round 1... Jeet Kun Do

Veijo Kala (1-3) vs Prashanth "Chintu" Maadala (6-8-1) 185lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:25 of Round 1... Veijo Kala

NFC 38 Koski vs Smith Preview

Tomi "Felix" Koski (11-1) vs John "Hammer" Smith (11-2) 205lbs

What a main event we have for all of you in this one. 2 of the top 20 Light Heavyweights square off in this one. Tomi Koski comes in after giving Muhamed x3 his only loss ever in a superfight that was held in Las Vegas. He is unbelievable with his striking ability, and not many can match up. Currenty, Koski is riding an 11 fight win streak. His opponent, John Smith, is coming in riding a 5 fight win streak as well as being the Light Heavyweight Champion of the Equal Opportunity Destroyers promotion based in Vegas. Smith has excellent stand up as well mixing in nicely with his boxing and Muay Thai. I can not wait for this one.

Unski Hallavaara (11-2) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (7-2) 205lbs

Our Co-Main event is a great match up as well. Hallavaara comes in riding a 3 fight win streak. He likes to us his hands and feet as he is equally impressive with his boxing and MT. He has very good wrestling as well which he uses to make sure the fight stays standing in most cases. His opponent, Mikko Tysooni, is riding a 5 fight unbeaten streak. He is just like Hallavaara when it comes to boxing, so this fight should not disappoint. Someone should get knocked out, and it will be painful.

Already Unconscious (11-3) vs Abdullah Virtanen (9-3) 265lbs

This is very evenly matched. Both fighters are well rounded, with Unconscious being the better grappler and Virtanen being the better striker. Both come in off a win in their last fight, and it should be interesting to see who can implement their gameplan. Both fighters have faced very tough competition in the past, so this one does not have a clear cut favorite. One of many great fights on the card.

Al "Put It" Inyourbutt (4-1) vs Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (8-3) 205lbs

This is going to turn into a striker vs grappler match up. Inyourbutt prefers to stand and bang while Rupunen like to depend on his bjj to overwhelm his opponents. These fighters are heading in different directions as Inyourbutt has won 2 straight, while Rupenen has dropped 3 of 4. Should be a good one.

Kregor "Sticky" Tammirinta (3-0) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (7-5) 155lbs

Youth vs experience in this one. Tammirinta comes in undefeated and is looked at as a very promising young talent. He has good boxing, wrestling and ok bjj. His opponent has lost 3 of his last 4, but do not let that fool you. He has some skill, and if Tammirinta takes him lightly, he will get his first loss. Hantta has very good striking and even better wrestling. On paper, even though with recent struggles, Hantta looks to be the favorite. Good thing that fights are not fight on paper.

Aalio "idiootti" Paalio (5-3) vs Kake Luikku (4-2) 265+ lbs

"Virus" Tami Flu (4-4) vs Jana "POLSKI" Kristin (5-3) 155lbs

Chaka "The Manager" Zula (0-1) vs Ilmo "Loser" kolho (2-8) 265+ lbs

Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (3-4) vs Kalevi Kostaja (3-5-1) 265lbs

Uzumaki "Fox" Naruto (3-4) vs Antti "The Angel" Atleetti (3-6) 170lbs

NFC 38 Koski vs Smith Review

Event Rating: 202.64

Tomi "Felix" Koski (11-1) vs John "Hammer" Smith (11-2) 205lbs

We got just the fight we all were expecting. Koski showed why he is one of the best fighters in the world. He put on a dominating performance in picking apart John Smith en route to a decision victory. The fans loved it as the fighters stood and went toe to toe for the entire 25 minutes. Give Smith a little bit of credit as he managed to make it throughout the fight, even though he hit with a ton of shots that connected flush.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Tomi "Felix" Koski (Fight Of The Night)

Unski Hallavaara (11-2) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (7-2) 205lbs

We did not get the KO finish that we thought we would see, but we did get another stand up war that left the crowd super excited. Hallavaara really put it on Tysooni for the entire 3 rounds. He landed over 150 strikes to his opponent’s 11. Hallavarra adds his 12th victory to his record and you would think sets him up nicely to be looked for a title shot in the near future.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Unski Hallavaara

Already Unconscious (11-3) vs Abdullah Virtanen (9-3) 265lbs

Another great fight that we all got to witness. Unconscious used his great wrestling ability to dominate and control Virtanen for the entire first round. He got the early takedown and used ground and pound to cut up his opponent. He mixed in a little bjj and tried to also work submissions. He could not finish the fight, so we went to the 2nd round. The 2nd was complete opposite of the 1st. Virtanen used his striking advantage to dominate the 2nd round and did a great job of doing some serious damage to Unconscious. However, he could not finish the fight in the 2nd. As we moved into the 3rd and the fighters each splitting the 1st 2 rounds, something had to give. Virtanen came out on fire in the 3rd, and chopped away with kicks. He landed a solid head kick that floored Unconscious, and the pounced into side control and finished the fight off forcing the ref to come in and stop the damage.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:47 of Round 3... Abdullah Virtanen (KO Of The Night)

Al "Put It" Inyourbutt (4-1) vs Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (8-3) 205lbs

This was another fight that went the distance, and was one of the closer fights of the night. Inyourbutt used his striking to keep Rupunen at bay. He landed an extraordinary amount of strikes, but could not put his opponent away. Rupunen went to his wrestling to get takedowns in every round. The problem was that he just couldn’t do anything once he got the fight to the ground. The judges saw this as well and gave the W to Inyourbutt. It was still a great fight.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Al "Put It" Inyourbutt

Kregor "Sticky" Tammirinta (3-0) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (7-5) 155lbs

Hantta made quick work of the previously undefeated Tammirinta with a fast KO. It took just a little over a minute of pure punishment. Hantta came out throwing fierce kicks and powerful punches. Tammirinta had no answer for the onslaught, and at 1:21 of the 1st, he got KO’d by a right left combo. It was a beautiful shot.

Winner by KO (Punches) 1:21 of Round 1... Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta

Aalio "idiootti" Paalio (5-3) vs Kake Luikku (4-2) 265+ lbs

Winner by KO (Punches) 2:54 of Round 1... Aalio "idiootti" Paalio

"Virus" Tami Flu (4-4) vs Jana "POLSKI" Kristin (5-3) 155lbs

Winner by KO (Punches) 0:57 of Round 1... Jana "POLSKI" Kristin

Chaka "The Manager" Zula (0-1) vs Ilmo "Loser" kolho (2-8) 265+ lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Ilmo "Loser" kolho

Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (3-4) vs Kalevi Kostaja (3-5-1) 265lbs

Winner by Submission (Kimura) 1:38 of Round 2... Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (Sub Of The Night)

Uzumaki "Fox" Naruto (3-4) vs Antti "The Angel" Atleetti (3-6) 170lbs

Winner by Submission (RNC) 2:22 of Round 2... Antti "The Angel" Atleetti

NFC 39 Kinkeri vs Makunouchi Preview

Middleweight Championship 185lbs

Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (9-1-1) vs Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi (10-4)

Our main event is for the Middleweight Championship between the challenger Ippo Makunouchi and the current champion Kalle Kinkeri. These 2 fighters are familiar with one another as they just recently fought back in April at NFC 26. Kinkeri won that fight in less than a minute into the first round by KO (Knee). Makunouchi is definitely looking for revenge, and has the well rounded skills to do so. All 10 of his wins have come from KO or TKO, and that is because he is lethal in the striking game. He has excellent boxing and really good MT. The champ will have his hands full, but he is the better MT striker, but is at a big disadvantage in the boxing. Both fighters should elect to stand toe to toe from looking at previous fights. Someone is getting knocked out, and someone is leaving with the belt.

Martti Aho (9-5) vs Felix Flashlighter (10-5) 170lbs

We should have another striking battle here with this match up. Both fighters like to rely on their boxing to out duel their opponents. Aho walks in as one of, if not the best boxer in all of Helsinki. This sensational boxer has 9 wins, and all of them have by way of KO or TKO. He will be looking for the early KO for sure. Flashlighter is the more well rounded of the 2. He has great all around skills on the feet and on the ground. If he wants to walk away the winner, he should look to take it to the ground and use his bjj advantage.

Ricardo "Tubbs" miami vice (5-2) vs Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (8-5) 170lbs

We have a good Welterweight match up here in out next contest. Miami Vice is a strong grappler who has won his last 2 fights. He is a brown belt who holds 4 submission victories out of his 5 wins. He uses his good wrestling to get it to the floor, then locks in the subs. His opponent, Fernando Nurmi, is also a submission fighter. The problem for him in this one, is that his opponent is better in all aspects of the ground game.

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (6-3-1) vs "Tohtori" Dave Dashoo (5-1) 185lbs

Next up we have a great middleweight match up. Aslan Bagrian enters the fight following a loss, and will be looking to right the ship. He appears to be a ground fighter since 4 of 6 wins have come by submission, but he also shows great hands and uses his boxing well. He is truly dangerous on his feet as well as the ground. Dashoo is also coming in off of a loss which came after winning his first 5 fights. He is a decent boxer with a decent ground game just like his opponent. On paper though, he does not match up well, but fights are not won and lost on paper.

Jokohama Humahuta (9-5) vs Syntha "Rainman" Six (8-4) 205lbs

Humahuta has fallen on hard times as of late losing 3 of his last 4. He needs to find a way to win this fight, or else he could fall off the map completely. He is a black and is a beast on the ground. His problem has been that he struggles to get the fight down. He has decent wrestling, but it has not been enough. His opponent Syntha Six has won his last 2 fights. He will look to KO Humahuta early, as he has little to no wrestling at all, and if taken down, it would not be a pretty sight. He has to find a way to make sure he stays upright.

T "DÆNASOR" Rex (8-4) vs Gerhard Rihmakallo (5-6) 205lbs

Jimbo Stapelstaden (5-2) vs Jouni Lettu (4-2) 170lbs

Eino Juutilainen (6-6) vs Felix Doppler (2-3) 155lbs

"Jortsu" Jorma Khaki (3-6) vs Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (1-4) 155lbs

Prashanth "Chintu" Maadala (6-9-1) vs Jeff "Snowman" Momson (3-2) 205lbs

NFC 39 Kinkeri vs Makunouchi Review

Middleweight Championship 185lbs

Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (9-1-1) vs Ippo "Big Mara" Makunouchi (10-4)

Different fight, pretty much the same results. Kinkeri yet again put Makunouchi away early due to knees. He came out and worked the clinch beautifully en route to defending his title. He did a great job with his knees and kicks. It only took a little over a minute to put his opponent away as he caught him with 3 knees to the head that put him out.

Winner by TKO (Knees) 1:49 of round 1... And still Middleweight Champion Of The World... Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri

Martti Aho (9-5) vs Felix Flashlighter (10-5) 170lbs

This was one of the better fights that we had on the night. Flashlighter did an excellent job in mixing in his striking with his wrestling. Even though he didn’t finish Aho, he pretty much owned him for the entire 15 minutes. He opened up an early cut on Aho that threw him off his game. Then got takedowns and controlled him to close out the first. The 2nd spent almost the entire time on the ground as Flashlighter worked his bjj and ground & pound. The 3rd looked just like the 2nd. Aho was never really in any anger of being stopped, but also did not put up much of a fight.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Felix Flashlighter (Fight Of The Night)

Ricardo "Tubbs" miami vice (5-2) vs Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (8-5) 170lbs

Miami Vice made very quick work of Nurmi in this one to pick up his 6th win of his career. He shot in and took Nurmi down within the opening seconds. He had landed in full mount and started instantly working for submissions. He had managed to jump to the side and lock in an anaconda choke. It was tight as Nurmi refused to tap, and went unconscious.

Winner by Submission (Anaconda Choke) 0:34 of Round 1... Ricardo "Tubbs" Miami Vice (Submission Of The Night)

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (6-3-1) vs "Tohtori" Dave Dashoo (5-1) 185lbs

Bagrian did a great job mixing u his attack in getting the W in this fight. In the first round, he used Dashoo’s aggressiveness against him by shooting in for takedowns and controlling the fight. He also did a good job with his hands to keep Dashoo honest. In the 2nd round, Bagrian used his striking to control the fight. Early in the round he landed an overhand right that floored Dashoo. He then jumped into mount and started dropping bombs forcing the ref to save his opponent.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:20 of Round 2... Aslan "Spider" Bagrian

Jokohama Humahuta (9-5) vs Syntha "Rainman" Six (8-4) 205lbs

This was a fight that surprised me. Humahuta looked to have dominated the first round by getting the fight to the ground at will. What was surprising was that he could not submit his opponent even though he clearly out classed him in bjj. Six did a great job to survive the first. For what little bit of time it was on the feet in the 1st, Six did some damage by opening up a cut on Humahuta. The 2nd round started with Humahuta throwing his hands a little to set up the takedown. He culd not get it done, which left Six open to strike at will. Shortly into the 2nd, Six hit his opponent with a counter right that dropped him and then pounced forcing the ref to call an end to the fight.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:21 of round 2... Syntha "Rainman" Six

T "DÆNASOR" Rex (8-4) vs Gerhard Rihmakallo (5-6) 205lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:21 of Round 1... T "DÆNASOR" Rex

Jimbo Stapelstaden (5-2) vs Jouni Lettu (4-2) 170lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 4:00 of Round 1... Jimbo Stapelstaden (KO Of The Night)

Eino Juutilainen (6-6) vs Felix Doppler (2-3) 155lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Eino Juutilainen

"Jortsu" Jorma Khaki (3-6) vs Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (1-4) 155lbs

Winner by Submission (RNC) 1:48 of Round 1... "Jortsu" Jorma Khaki

Prashanth "Chintu" Maadala (6-9-1) vs Jeff "Snowman" Momson (3-2) 205lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:30 of Round 1... Jeff "Snowman" Momson

NFC 40 Thorkildsen vs Muna Preview

Lightweight Championship 155lbs

Rolf Thorkildsen (7-2) vs Arto "Betonikives" Muna (9-3)

This one is for all the marbles when current Champ Rolf Thorkildsen takes on the challenger, Arto Muna. Muna is one of the best strikers in the NFC. But that is not all, as he is excellent on the ground and uses his brown belt very well. He is really looking forward to getting his belt back thae held for almost 3 months earlier this year. He has a tough task in the current champ, Thorkildsen. On the ground, he is the equal of his opponent. In the striking game, he is not quite as dangerous but still has a ton of skill. In this one however, it looks like the champ comes in as the underdog.

Anthony Creaturos (8-2) vs Stringer Bell (11-5) 185lbs

We have your everyday striker vs grappler match up here in our co-main event of the evening. Creaturos enters the fight riding a 5 fight win streak in which he stopped his opponent in 4 of them by either KO or TKO. He has great boxing, and relies on his lightning quick hands to subdue his opponents. His opponent, Bell, is a bjj whiz who holds one of the few black belts in bjj in the NFC. If he can this fight to the ground, it should be over quickly. If he can’t, he is on a comparable level in the striking department, and it could turn into a nice little stand up fight.

"The Unbelievable" Big M (7-2) vs Valdemar Kosonen (7-2) 155lbs

Big M is making his first appearance since he lost his title back in May. He is definitely looking for a few quick wins to get himself back in title contention so he can get back what he thinks is rightfully his. A great boxer, but one who actually likes to use his brown belt to lock in submissions. He is truly a threat on both the feet and the ground. Kosonen is another black belt that we have on the card. He is going to have a decent advantage in the grappling portion, but his stand lacks compared to Big M. Should be a great fight and one of the more entertaining fights we have for all of you.

Pekka "Teufel" Perkele (6-3) vs Oloff Larsen (7-3) 205lbs

Our next fight pits 2 very even fighters against one another. Both have fallen upon hard times lately as they have not had too much success in their recent fights. Each fighter has a very solid ground game backed up by decent striking. It should be very interesting to see who is the better of two in the certain aspects of the fight, and who walks away the winner

Demian Silva (3-0) vs Seppo Taalasmaa (7-7) 205lbs

Silva enters the fight on a roll as he has won his first 3 professional fights. All 3 have come from within NFC and all 3 have been by decision. He has not shown that he can put an opponent away, but he does use his Muay Thai well to get points and impress the judges. Taalasmaa on the other hand has a boat load of experience, but has not fared so well as he enters the fight at 7-7. He has lost his last 2 fights, Both coming from KO/TKO. He has decent stand up as well, but you have to question his chin after his last 2 defeats.

NFC 40 Thorkildsen vs Muna Review

Event Rating: 153.23

Lightweight Championship 155lbs

Rolf Thorkildsen (7-2) vs Arto "Betonikives" Muna (9-3)

Talk about coming back from the dead. Muna was punishing Thorkildsen for a solid 2 rounds. He was great on the feet, and just as good on the ground. Early in the 1st, he even managed to oen a cut on the Champs face. He looked to be cruising to winning the belt, but hit a road block in the 3rd. The roadblock, otherwise known as the hands of Thorkildsen. He landed a jab that rocked Muna. Then followed that up with an overhand right that sent Muna crashing to the floor. Thorkildsen followed landing more strikes forcing the ref to step in and stop the brutality.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 4:26 of round 3... And Still Lightweight Champion Of The World... Rolf Thorkildsen (Fight Of The Night)

Anthony Creaturos (8-2) vs Stringer Bell (11-5) 185lbs

Creaturos kept the train of momentum going as he quickly ran through Bell by yet again another TKO. He came out very aggressive and landed strikes at will. He got a quick knockdown a little over a minute into the fight by landing a right left combo. He wanted the KO, so he let his opponent up to recover. It did not last long as a few minutes later Creaturos Landed a strong left that put his opponent down to his knees and then piled on the punishment forcing the ref to stop the fight.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 3:45 of Round 1... Anthony Creaturos

"The Unbelievable" Big M (7-2) vs Valdemar Kosonen (7-2) 155lbs

This was one of the more boring fights I have ever witnessed. But boring or not, Kosonen will the W anyway he can get it. He took Big M down at will and lay and prayed for the next 15 minutes. He mixed in a few strikes and a sub attempt or two, but otherwise nothing else. He got the nod 30-27 on all cards.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Valdemar Kosonen

Pekka "Teufel" Perkele (6-3) vs Oloff Larsen (7-3) 205lbs

Pekka Perkele put on a dominating show in this one. He thoroughly beat up Larsen in this one. He opened a cut early in the fight on Larsens face, and never looked back. Larsen had no answer for the striking of Perkele and the fight came to an end as Perkele landed a jab that stunned Larsen and followed it up with a devastating uppercut that knocked Larsen out.

Winner by KO (Punches) 2:10 of round 1... Pekka "Teufel" Perkele (KO of The Night)

Demian Silva (3-0) vs Seppo Taalasmaa (7-7) 205lbs

This was an excellent fight to kick off the main card. Both fighters went at it for the entire 15 minutes, and left everything in the cage. Taalasmaa gave Silva his first ever in this one. He was the more active fighter, which is why he got the nod 29-28 on all the scorecards. He worked the clinch and boxing game well. This was a great win for him.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Seppo Taalasmaa
