NFC 41 Mortensson vs Emelianko Preview

Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (11-2) vs "The King" Andrei Emelianenko (12-2) 170lbs

We have a great Welterweight superfight coming up for all of you in our main event. NFC Welterweight Champ Jesse Mortensson will be set to take on Andrei Emelianenko who is the current 170lbs Champ from the London Fighting Championships in London. Both fighters have very good all around skills with Mortensson being the better grappler, and Emelianenko being the better striker. I think that is exactly how this will play out. Whoever can impose their strength will pull out the W in this one. Both men enter with impressive winning streaks, so it should be a great one.

Super Heavyweight Championship 265+Lbs

Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (9-1) vs Aalio "idiootti" Paalio (6-3)

I can not wait for this fight. These are 2 big behemoths that are going to stand and go toe to toe until one can’t get up. Both men are known for their striking, and even more importantly, is that the SHW belt is up for grabs. Current Champ Boris Metusalem is riding a 6 fight win streak, and looking to notch win # 10 overall. He has used his striking for the majority of those wins with 6 of the 9 coming by way of KO/TKO. Paalio on the other hand, is one of the most feared strikers in all of the NFC. He is a stud boxer, and if he can het his hands on you, you will go to sleep. All 6 of his wins have come from either KO or TKO.

"You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (7-1) vs James "Kakelberg" Dille (7-3) 265lbs

We have a very good heavyweight match up here when Jeff Sobchak takes on James Dille. Sobchak is looking to rebound from his first ever professional loss when he was stopped due to cut. He is a great striker with even better wrestling. He will usually dictate where the fight goes. Look for him to use his vicious MT to try for the KO. Dille is also coming off a loss and looking to bounce back strong. He is a better boxer, but lacks in the other areas of the fight game. As long as it stays on the feet, he will have a good chance to get the victory.

Vesku Torni (7-5) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (8-5) 155lbs

This should be another stand up war as these two warriors face off. Torni is another one of the top rated boxers in all of the world and will be matching up again Hantta who is one of the better wrestlers. He has solid striking and usually uses it to beat his opponents. Torni only has his boxing, so if he doesn’t get the KO, it could be a long night for him.

Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (5-2) vs Roibos "The Wolverine" Fredriksson (5-0) (185lbs)

Tiihonen is entering the fight winning 2 straight. Both coming by way of submission. He holds a brown belt, ans is very dangerous when it hits the ground. He has a decent stand up attack as well, so he is not one dimensional. Fredriksson comes in undefeated. He has won all 5 pro fights he has had. He is the better all around fighter, and is just as dangerous as his opponent. This has all the makings of fight of the night.

Peter "Shower" North (5-2) vs Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (6-4) 265lbs

"Virus" Tami Flu (4-5) vs Seppo Sulkijalihas (6-5) 155lbs

Martial Arts (5-5) vs Kake Luikku (4-3) 265+Lbs

Erling Mathias Havna (5-3) vs Chaka "The Manager" Zula (0-2) 265+lbs

"Kuuma" Kalle Reinikainen (0-0) vs Viljo "The Werdio" Multanen (7-5) 185lbs

NFC 41 Mortensson vs Emelianko Review

Event Rating: 159.45

Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (11-2) vs "The King" Andrei Emelianenko (12-2) 170lbs

This was a good fight all in all. It was not as exciting as we had hoped for, but was still good. Emelianenko pulled out the decision W by using his great striking that we had talked about numerous times. On the feet, he picked Mortensson apart. On the ground, he did a great job of stifling his opponent and controlling the fight from the bottom. He got the nod for 4 of the 5 rounds on all the cards, as he clearly won this fight.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... "The King" Andrei Emelianenko

Super Heavyweight Championship 265+Lbs

Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (9-1) vs Aalio "idiootti" Paalio (6-3)

Just totally amazing. Paalio is the new champion after he easily disposed of Metusalem in the 1st round of this contest. Metusalem did not even manage to land 1 strike the whole fight. Paalio did a great job of boxing, as he slipped punches with ease, and landed devastating strikes of his own. Paalio landed a nice looking combo that floored Metusalem. He let him back up, only to shortly there after landed a beautiful hook that again sent Metusalem to the ground. This time Paalio pounced and finished him off with strkes.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 3:11 of Round 1... And New Super Heavyweight Champion Of The World... Aalio "idiootti" Paalio

"You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (7-1) vs James "Kakelberg" Dille (7-3) 265lbs

Sobchak rebounded nicely as he ran through his opponent in less than a minute. Within the opening seconds, he landed a beautiful combo that sent Dille crashing to the mat, as well as opened up a nice gash on Dille’s face. Sobchak let Dille stand back up and then clinched with him. He landed a big right hand that rocked Dille again. He then finished him off with strikes as the ref stepped in.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:52 of Round 1... "You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak

Vesku Torni (7-5) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (8-5) 155lbs

Hannu Hantta owned and punished his opponent in this fight for 15 minutes. He worked the clinch to perfection and thses two fighters spent about 13 minutes in the clinch. Torni was cut open early in the fight but never gave up. He did not mount much offense, but at least he didn’t give in or get knocked out. Either way, he was dominated for the entire fight.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta

Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (5-2) vs Roibos "The Wolverine" Fredriksson (5-0) (185lbs)

The Wolverine stays unbeaten as he demolishes Tiihonen as he picks up his 6th straight W. He used beautiful MT durin the first 2 rounds to punish and soften up his opponent. He did a great job mixing his striking levels and almost finished the fight on a couple different occasions. As the 3rd round started, it ended. The bell rang, and Fredriksson came out and threw up a head kick that landed and knocked his opponent clean out. It really was a great finish.

Winner by KO (Head Kick) 0:05 of Round 3... Roibos "The Wolverine" Fredriksson (KO Of The Night)

Peter "Shower" North (5-2) vs Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (6-4) 265lbs

NFC 42 Koski vs Hallavaara Preview

Light Heavyweight Championship 205lbs

Tomi "Felix" Koski (12-1) vs Unski Hallavaara (12-2)

I can not wait for this fight. It feature 2 top notch strikers who will undoubtedly go for the KO. In what should be the fight of the night, we should see some legalized violence. Oh did I forget to mention what is on the line? Koski puts his 12 fight winning streak as well as his NFC LHW title on the line against a game opponent in Unski Hallavaara. Koski is currently rated the #7 LHW in the world and #18 p4p. The guy is no joke and rely on his killer striking to take home lucky #13. Hallavaara is no slouch however. He comes in riding a modest 4 fight winning streak, but is very talented himself. Like the champ, Hallavaara will look to stand and trade with his precise striking. This is going to be epic.

Felix Flashlighter (11-5) vs Ricardo "Tubbs" miami vice (6-2) 170lbs

Both men enter this fight on 3 fight winning streaks, and both are hoping a win here will push them ever so close to a title shot. Flaslighter is a well rounded fighter who tends to rely on his striking to overwhelm his opponents. He uses his boxing and MT well to switch up his striking and comes at you from all angles. Miami Vice is more of a grappler who tends to rely on his bjj to be victorious. He uses excellent wrestling to get the fight to the floor, then kicks in his brown belt bjj to sub his opponents. 5 of his 6 wins have come by submission.

Syntha "Rainman" Six (9-4) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (7-3) 205lbs

We have yet another great fight coming your way when Six takes on Mike Tysooni. Six is on a hot streak and needs to keep it going to move up the ladder. He has good striking and very good bjj. He is dangerous wherever it goes, so Tysooni needs to be careful. Tysooni is a boxer with lethal hands. If he can keep it on the feet, he has a chance. If he gets taken down, it could spell disaster for him.

Oiva Tuominen (10-6) vs Teuvo "Helsinki City Boy" Loman (8-4) 185lbs

This one will be interesting. No doubt will this be a grappling match. We have a black belt taking on a brown. With a combined 15 submission victories between them, this will be a world class display. Tuominen holds 9 of his 10 wins by submission, and is one of the better black belts in the game. Loman has 6 of his 8 via sub. He might not be a black belt, but he is just as talanted.

Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (8-6) vs Pertti Peto (8-5) 170lbs

In a sense, this could be another grappling match. Both tend to go for and win by submission. Peto however, has really good stand up. If he keeps it standing, it should be an easy KO. Both are pretty much equal on the ground. Each fighter is entering following a loss in their last fight and needs to rebound nicely.

Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (8-4) vs Tor Svensson (5-3) 205lbs

Emil Pasanen (6-4) vs Jarno Psykonautti (4-3) 205lbs

"Punisher" Pauli Sankari (6-5-1) vs Yu "The Exocrist" Kanda (2-1) 170lbs

"Sniper" Jussi Koivusalo (6-5) vs Veijo Kala (2-3) 205lbs

Risto "The brown one" Ruskea (7-6-1) vs Cross "The Life Taker" Yegar (2-0) 185lbs

NFC 42 Koski vs Hallavaara Review

Event Rating:186.82

Light Heavyweight Championship 205lbs

Tomi "Felix" Koski (12-1) vs Unski Hallavaara (12-2)

What a great fight here in our main event. These 2 fighters gave it their all while this fight lasted. Koski owned Hallavaara for the 2 ½ rounds that it went for. He used his stellar striking to gain the upper hand and hurt his opponent. In the 3rd round, he sent his opponent crashing down to the floor with a great combo. Koski pounced and starting working his ground and pound. It did not do much damage so he switched to his bjj. Koski locked in a strong americana that had Hallavaara screaming in pain forcing the ref to call an end to the fight.

Winner by Submission (Americana) 2:04 of Round 3... And Still Light Heavyweight Champion Of The World... Tomi "Felix" Koski (Fight Of The Night)

Felix Flashlighter (11-5) vs Ricardo "Tubbs" miami vice (6-2) 170lbs

We got what was expected out of this one. Miami Voce did a great job in the first using his wrestling to dictate where the fight went. Once he got it to the ground, he did not do much other than control his opponent. The 2nd and 3rd rounds however belonged to Flashlighter. He did a good job defending the takedowns and got to punish Vice on the feet. He almost dropped him in the 3rd but Vice got the quick takedown while rocked. The judges were impressed with Flashlighter and gave him both the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Felix Flashlighter

Syntha "Rainman" Six (9-4) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (7-3) 205lbs

This was one of the shortest fights that I have had the pleasure to cover. Six never stood a chance. Tysooni cam out and landed a right hand that knocked Six to the canvas. Six got back up only to get leveled by an uppercut that ended the night for Six. He was out cold.

Winner by KO (Punch) 0:13 of Round 1... "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (KO Of The Night)

Oiva Tuominen (10-6) vs Teuvo "Helsinki City Boy" Loman (8-4) 185lbs

Teuvo Loman dominated this fight from start to finish. He used stellar wrestling and bjj to take this fight. He got the takedown at will through the 3 rounds. He went for numerous submission attempts each round, but could not manage to lock any in. Tuominen tried for subs from the bottom, but didn’t do much else.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Teuvo "Helsinki City Boy" Loman

Fernando "Nando" Nurmi (8-6) vs Pertti Peto (8-5) 170lbs

Peto gets the decision victory in this one. Winning the fight 30-27, 29-28, 29-28. He did it showing great stand up, as well as good submission defense on the ground. Nurmi showed great wrestling while getting takedowns at will, but could not do anything on the ground. He failed on 10 submission attempts, which surely did not impress the judges.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Pertti Peto

Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (8-4) vs Tor Svensson (5-3) 205lbs

Winner by KO (Strikes) 1:35 of Round 1... Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen

Emil Pasanen (6-4) vs Jarno Psykonautti (4-3) 205lbs

Winner by Submission (RNC) 2:35 of Round 1... Emil Pasanen (Submission Of The Night)

"Punisher" Pauli Sankari (6-5-1) vs Yu "The Exocrist" Kanda (2-1) 170lbs

Winner by Majority Decision... "Punisher" Pauli Sankari

"Sniper" Jussi Koivusalo (6-5) vs Veijo Kala (2-3) 205lbs

Winner by TKO (Punches) 1:50 of Round 1... Veijo Kala

Risto "The brown one" Ruskea (7-6-1) vs Cross "The Life Taker" Yegar (2-0) 185lbs

NFC 43 Kinkeri vs Creaturos Preview

Middleweight Championship 185lbs

Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (10-1-1) vs Anthony Creaturos (9-2)

For our main event, we have a great match up of 2 fighters who are currently riding long fight winning streaks. Current champ Kalle Kinkeri will enter fight riding a 4 fight win streak and will look to his MT to do so. He has vicious elbows and knee, and has decent boxing to back it up. The challenger enters winning 6 straight, and will need #7 if he wants to take home the gold. Creaturos will look to use his boxing to gain another TKO finish. He does have a decent ground game, and would have the advantage if it went there. I see this being a stand up war however, and someone should get KO’d.

Valdemar "Mora" Friman (9-3) vs Arto "Betonikives" Muna (9-4) 155lbs

This is probably my favorite fight on the whole card. Both fighters are studs on the ground as well as on the feet. When standing it is a great boxer in Muna taking on the MT skills of Friman. On the ground, both fighters are equal as they both hold brown belts. This should be a great stand up war, and would be my pick to end up as fight of the night.

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (7-3-1) vs Stringer Bell (11-6) 185lbs

Our next fight should end up being a striker vs grappler match up. Bell is a black belt and is one of the most feared submission fighters in the game. He has fallen upon hard times of late as he has lost 3 of 4 due to not being able to get the fight down to the ground. Bagrian on the other hand, will look to his striking to win this fight. He is no slouch on the ground, but is not close talent wise to his opponent. He has the hands to get a KO win here, and that is what he will be trying to do.

Aalio Paalio II (6-2) vs Anselmi Kierre (6-1) 265+ lbs

This next fight should be one of the better grappling matches we have on the card. Both are very solid in the wrestling department, and both have good bjj to back it up. They are just average in striking. Paalio is the better bjj player as he holds a brown belt, while Kierre is the better wrestler.

Martti Aho (9-6) vs Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (9-3) 170lbs

Our next fight is a rematch from NFC 35 when Kaurismaa outlasted Aho and won an Unanimous Decision 29-28 on all scorecards. Aho is an elite boxer who has all the tools to make a champ. He just needs to have more trust in those hand he has, as he is one of the best strikers in NFC. Kaurismaa is just as talented as a striker, and will be looking to go head hunting. If these 2 stand and bang like the last time, it would surprise me to see it go the distance again.

Pekka "Teufel" Perkele (7-3) vs Al "Put It" Inyourbutt (5-1) 205lbs

Rick "Tiny" Thompson (4-1) vs Artturi "AIV" Virtanen (8-3) 265+ lbs

Jeet Kun Do (5-5) vs "Steroider" Prusel Gammarix (10-11) 265+ lbs

Ron "Meatball" Jeremy (3-1) vs Lou Cifer Jr (8-9) 265lbs

NFC 43 Kinkeri vs Creaturos Review

Event Rating: 164.56

Middleweight Championship 185lbs

Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (10-1-1) vs Anthony Creaturos (9-2)

Kinkeri put on a striking clinic en route to defending his title against Creaturos. He did well when clinched up, and showed great boxing. Creaturos got a few takedowns in the fight, but he could not do anything with them, He did a little bit of controlling, but for the most part, he was getting tagged by Kinkeri.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... And Still Middleweight Champion Of The World... Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri

Valdemar "Mora" Friman (9-3) vs Arto "Betonikives" Muna (9-4) 155lbs

Muna easily got the W in this battle with Friman. He owned the striking and the ground work. Friman did not put up much of a fight, but at least he did not get knocked out. Muna showed all kinds of stand up skills, as he showed great kicks and punches. This was win #10 for Muna.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Arto "Betonikives" Muna

Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (7-3-1) vs Stringer Bell (11-6) 185lbs

Bagrian did a great job in ground defense as he won this fight by Unanimous Decision. He did a great job on the feet, and when he was taken down, did a great job with defense and sweeps. Bagrian picks up win #8 with this impressive victory.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Aslan "Spider" Bagrian

Aalio Paalio II (6-2) vs Anselmi Kierre (6-1) 265+ lbs

Kierre dominated Paalio in this match up. He won a decisive Unanimous Decision. He used kicks to keep Paalio at bay, and also showed good boxing ti impress the judges. Paalio hung in there, but could not really mount much offense. Kierre is definitely probing his worth with this win here.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Anselmi Kierre

Martti Aho (9-6) vs Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa (9-3) 170lbs

The rematch looked like and ended just like the first meeting. Kaurismaa goes home with his 2nd Unanimous Decision victory over Aho. Only this time, Kaurismaa whooped Aho all over the cage. He used his MT to clinch and pummel Aho for 15 minutes. You have to give it to Aho though, he took a beating and did not get KO’d.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Arne "Hitman" Kaurismaa

Pekka "Teufel" Perkele (7-3) vs Al "Put It" Inyourbutt (5-1) 205lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 1:50 of Round 1... Al "Put It" Inyourbutt

NFC 44 Paalio vs Peiper Preview

Super Heavyweight Championship 265+ lbs

Aalio "Iron Fist" Paalio (7-3) vs Joachim "Jochen" Peiper (6-0)

What a title fight we have here in our main event of the evening. Undefeated Joachim Peiper is making his first appearance in NFC, but is fully capable of beating the current champ. Peiper was the SHW champ in the now defunct Crashforce organization. He is a great boxer who holds all of wins by some form of KO. NFC champ Aalio Paalio steps in winning his last two fights, and al 7 coming from a form of KO. He is the better boxer of the 2, and it would not surprise me if he got the early KO.

Welterweight Title Fight 170lbs

Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (11-3) vs Felix Flashlighter (12-5)

In our co-main event of the evening, current NFC Welterweight champion Jesse Mortensson will square off against red hot challenger Felix Flashlighter. Flashlighter is well rounded and has the skills to win this fight wherever it may go. Mortensson is a slick bjj artist and is damn good at making his opponent tap. I think this fight will turn into a striker vs grappler match up.

Abdullah Virtanen (10-3) vs "You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (8-1) 265lbs

This is one of my favorite match ups on the whole card. Both fighter are top echelon fighters, and both love to stand and bang. Virtanen is a MT artist than a boxer, but is very good at both. Sobchak is a mirror image of his opponent. I can not wait to see this one play out.

Valdemar Kosonen (8-2) vs Mikko "Kikkeli" Koskinen (4-0) 155lbs

Striker vs grappler will be the theme of this fight when KO artist Mikko Koskinen will take on the arm breaking bjj master black belt in Valdemar Kosonen. Kosonen is no joke on the ground and is feared by all. He has decent stand up, but the question will be is it good enough to allow him time to get the fight to the ground. Koskinen on the other hand has to keep this fight on the feet. He will not stand a chance if goes to the floor.

T "DÆNASOR" Rex (9-4) vs Simo "Mujahed" Rantalainen (7-4) 265lbs

This is one of the more interesting fights on the card. Both fighters are excellent wrestlers with very good quality bjj to back it up. Rantalainen is the better wrestler, but not by much. I see this one as a grinding 3 round ground war and a close fight for the judges to score.

Vesku Torni (7-6) vs Jana "POLSKI" Kristin (6-3) 155lbs

Jimbo Stapelstaden (6-2) vs Ricardo "Tubbs" Miami Vice (6-3) 170lbs

Peter "Shower" North (5-3) vs Gerhard Rihmakallo (5-7) 265lbs

Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr (5-2) vs Pertti Junttila (7-6) 185lbs

NFC 44 Paalio vs Peiper Review

Super Heavyweight Championship 265+ lbs

Aalio "Iron Fist" Paalio (7-3) vs Joachim "Jochen" Peiper (6-0)

Paalio retained his title with this very quick and beautiful victory over the challenger Joachim Peiper. He showed he was the better striker as he barely broke a sweat. He landed a nice combo that knocked Peiper to the ground, but he let him back up. He then quickly fired off a brutal uppercut that ended the fight. It was the highlight reel KO that we were looking for.

Winner by KO (Punch) 1:10 of Round 1... And Still Super Heavyweight Champion Of The World...

Aalio "Iron Fist" Paalio (KO Of The Night)

Welterweight Title Fight 170lbs

Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (11-3) vs Felix Flashlighter (12-5)

What a fight this was. It went the full 5 rounds, and is one of the closest fighters I have ever covered. Neither fighter truly gained the upper hand throughout this fight, as for the most part both were equally impressive. Other than a cut opened up on Mortensson by a head kick, no real damage was done. The fighters spent time on both the ground and on the feet. The judges were not all on the same page as they scored the fight respectively 48-47, 48-48, and 48-47, in favor of...

Winner by Majority Decision... And Still Welterweight Champion Of The World... Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson

Abdullah Virtanen (10-3) vs "You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (8-1) 265lbs

Virtanen dominated this fight en route to picking up his 11th victory, and this was one of his more violent wins. He used great boxing as well as his awesome MT and clinch to carve up Sobchak. He opened the cut early in the 1st, and just kept going after the wound. After 2 rounds of pure domination, about midway through the 3rd, the doctor was called in to look at the cut, and decided it was too bad for the fight to continue.

Winner by TKO (Cut) 2:03 of Round 3... Abdullah Virtanen (Fight Of The Night)

Valdemar Kosonen (8-2) vs Mikko "Kikkeli" Koskinen (4-0) 155lbs

This turned into one of the closer fights on the whole card. Kosonen took the first round using his good wrestling and stellar bjj to control his opponent. The 2nd and 3rd rounds belonged strictly to Koskinen as he had the chance to use his hands a little. Neither fighter really had the other in trouble, but the judges thought Koskinen did more on the feet.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Mikko "Kikkeli" Koskinen

T "DÆNASOR" Rex (9-4) vs Simo "Mujahed" Rantalainen (7-4) 265lbs

T Rex got the early takedown and dominated the entire 1st round. He worked his ground & pound to perfection. Rantalainen tried to pull off the submission, but he failed on every attempt. NFC 45 Hallavaara vs Tyysoni Preview

Unski Hallavaara (12-3) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (8-3) 205lbs

Our main event is a rematch of two of the top LHW’s in NFC. Hallavaara won by Unanimous decision the last time these 2 faced off. Tysooni is looking to create a winning streak and also wants to avenge their last fight. Like the last fight, these 2 should stand up and bang for the duration of the fight. Hallavaara has the advantage in all aspects of the fight. As long as he shows good striking defense, he should be able to get the W.

"The Unbelievable" Big M (7-3) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (9-5) 155lbs

Big M has fallen on hard times as of late. He has lost 2 in a row, but still poses a big threat to anyone who steps in the cage with him. He has fabulous striking, and a very solid ground game. Hantta is a stud striker who mixes in MT and Boxing very well to always keep his opposition guess. He comes in on a 2 fight winning streak, and will be looking for an early KO to make it #3.

Syntha "Rainman" Six (9-5) vs Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (9-4) 205lbs

This match up should be one of the better on the whole card. Both fighters have had success in Nfc, and are looking to make a climb up the ladder in the LHW division. Six has great boxing and an underrated ground game. While Rupunen is a carbon copy as his opponent. Both seem to favor the submission game, so this could turn into a grappling match.

James "Kakelberg" Dille (7-4) vs Ron "Meatball" Jeremy (4-1) 265lbs

This should yet again be another striking matchup between the boxer Dille, and the MT specialist Jeremy. Dille is entering this fight losing 3 of his last 4. He has a decent ground game, but rather throw his hands around. Jeremy has started of his career winning 4 of 5, and always makes for a tough opponent. He has very good MT, but is an even better wrestling.

Amigo "de" Cerveza (7-2-1) vs Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (5-3) 185lbs

This one should turn into a striker vs grappler match up. Cerveza is more of a striker, but looking at his fight history, he is not likely to have the KO power needed to take out Tiihonen by anything other than decision. Tiihonen on the other hand, is a bjj whiz. If he can this fight to the ground, it should be an easy win for him.

George Dickson (6-1) vs Jamal "Power Bull" Quik (9-5) 170lbs

Emil Pasanen (7-4) vs Oloff Larsen (7-4) 205lbs

Anthony "Lecter" Cannibal (2-0) vs Risto "The brown one" Ruskea (8-5-1) 185lbs

Eino Juutilainen (7-6) vs Seppo Sulkijalihas (7-5) 155lbs

"Punisher" Pauli Sankari (7-5-1) vs "Stick" Pencil Neck (7-6) 170lbs

NFC 45 Hallavaara vs Tyysoni Review

Event Rating: 143.87

Unski Hallavaara (12-3) vs "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (8-3) 205lbs

This one was a great fight. Tysooni walks away with a very close decision, but he will take it. We all got the stand up battle we had wanted. These fighters split the first 2 rounds. But the 3rd was the deciding factor. Tysooni took the round 10-8 on all of the cards. He dominated in the clinch and landed 4 strikes to ever 1 from Hallavaara.

Winner by Unanimous Decison... "KeiOu" Mikko Tysooni (Fight Of The Night)

"The Unbelievable" Big M (7-3) vs Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (9-5) 155lbs

Hantta blew through M en route to his 10th victory in his career. M did not put on a good showing at all, but he was too busy being punched in the face. Hantta beat him up and down the cage and in the 2nd round, he landed a beautiful combo the knocked Big M into next week.

Winner by KO (Punches) 1:35 of Round 2... Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta (KO Of The Night)

Syntha "Rainman" Six (9-5) vs Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen (9-4) 205lbs

Rupunen put his excellent wrestling on display here in this fight. He got the takedown at will, but really could not do much else with it. Six on the other hand showed terrible td defense, but fantastic striking defense on the ground. The judges had a tough time deciding who was better, but they ended up in giving the split decision victory to...

Winner by Split Decision... Miksu "Ruho" Rupunen

James "Kakelberg" Dille (7-4) vs Ron "Meatball" Jeremy (4-1) 265lbs

The fight was about as one sided as you can get. Jeremy landed 2 elbows, and that was it for hi in the fight. Dille picked his opponent apart for the entire 15 minutes. The fight was a little boring as the fans booed throughout. Dille did what he had to win the fight, and the judges agreed giving him an overwhelming unanimous decision W.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... James "Kakelberg" Dille

Amigo "de" Cerveza (7-2-1) vs Jasser ".44" Tiihonen (5-3) 185lbs

Cerveza put on a hell of a show in picking up the W in this one. The first round was all hime showing off his well rounded skills. On the feet, his bjj defense, his great wrestling, all of it was working for him. The 2nd round belong to him as well. He got the quick takedown and got to work his brutal ground & pound. He got the mount, and started dropping bombs. Just a little over 2 minutes in, the ref had to call an end to the fight.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 2:18 of round 2... Amigo "de" Cerveza

George Dickson (6-1) vs Jamal "Power Bull" Quik (9-5) 170lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 4:03 of Round 2... Jamal "Power Bull" Quik

Emil Pasanen (7-4) vs Oloff Larsen (7-4) 205lbs

Winner by TKO (Cut) 4:42 of Round 1... Oloff Larsen

Anthony "Lecter" Cannibal (2-0) vs Risto "The brown one" Ruskea (8-5-1) 185lbs

Winner by Submission (Kimura) 1:21 of Round 3... Risto "The brown one" Ruskea

Eino Juutilainen (7-6) vs Seppo Sulkijalihas (7-5) 155lbs

Winner by Submission (Armbar) 4:03 of Round 3... Seppo Sulkijalihas (Submission Of The Night)

"Punisher" Pauli Sankari (7-5-1) vs "Stick" Pencil Neck (7-6) 170lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... "Punisher" Pauli Sankari

NFC 46 Kinkeri vs Spade Preview

Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (11-1-1) vs "Deadly" Scott Spade (14-2) 185lbs

What a main event we have for you. "Deadly" Scott Spade is making an appearance here in NFC all the way from Las Vegas where he currently is the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Champion of the well respected Org, It’s Gon Rain Fights. He enters the fight ranked as the #5 overall Middleweight in the world, and for good reason. Spade currently has a 7 fight winning streak going. He is very well rounded, holding a brown belt in bjj, being great at wrestling to where he dictates where the fight goes, and the man is a great boxer with monsterous power in both hands. He is taking on a very formidable opponent in Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri. Kinkeri is currently ranked as the 17th best Middleweight in tycoon land. He hasn’t had a loss in his last 12 fights. Kinkeri will look to use his MT to his advantage and work over Spade in the clinch. Even though he is not known for his ground game, Kinkeri knows what he is doing if it ends up there. This fight is going to be epic!

Anthony Creaturos (9-3) vs Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (8-3-1) 185lbs

Our Co-Main event is just about as good as the main event. 2 of the the top middleweights in NFC square off against each other, with both hoping a win here gets them into a title shot soon. Creaturos is coming off a title fight loss, but had won his 6 previous fights before that. Known for his striking, he is surprisingly better as a grappler. He has the skills to hold the belt one day. His opponent is no joke as well. Aslan Bagrian is the truth on the ground. He has sick bjj skills as well as dominating top control with his wrestling. His boxing is not far behind, and has the power to KO you if you are not careful.

"You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (8-2) vs Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (7-4) 265lbs

Lets face it, the main card is just flat out stacked. Sobchak is one of the top young fighters in the organization. He has no weaknesses as he is a dominating striker, and an even better wrestler. He started his career of on fire winning his first 7 fights, but has fallen upon hard times of late going just 1-2 in his last 3. Bowes on the other hand enters this fight on a 2 fight winning streak. He is cut from the same cloth as Sobchak in that he is a great striker and a great wrestler as well. This fight has all the makings of a stand up war.

Roibos "The Wolverine" Fredriksson (6-0) vs Stringer Bell (11-7) 185lbs

The undefeated Fredriksson will be taking on the grizzly vet Stringer Bell in our next fight on the main card. Fredriksson is very good all around, and has the skills to win this fight in a number of ways. He has won his first 6 fights, 2 subs, 2 KO’s, and 2 decisions. See, very well rounded. Bell has had 18 fights total in his pro career and always poses a tough challenge to anyone that steps in the cage with him. He holds a black belt, so you know he prefers to fight on the ground, but he also has very good striking. This should be a great one.

Rick "Tiny" Thompson (5-1) vs Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (9-2) 265+lbs

Another stand up war is expected out of our next fight. Thompson will be taking on “Angry Fist” and it should be a classic. Both guys have great stand up with Thompson having an advantage if the fight hits the floor. I sense KO of the night coming from this fight.

Veijo "TKO" Kala (3-3) vs Tor Svensson (5-4) 205 lbs

Needadis "Commander" Shepard (5-0) vs Brett Landers (4-2) 205lbs

Artturi "AIV" Virtanen (8-4) vs Jeet Kun Do (6-5) 265+lbs

Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (5-4) vs Lou Cifer Jr (8-10) 265lbs

Erling Mathias Havna (5-4) vs Ilmo "The Crusher" kolho (3-8) 265+lbs

NFC 46 Kinkeri vs Spade Review

Event Rating: 181.97

Kalle "Killer" Kinkeri (11-1-1) vs "Deadly" Scott Spade (14-2) 185lbs

This was the fight we thought we would get. Both men gave it their all, and no one was disappointed with the effort. Spade proved why he is one of the top Middleweights out there, as he dominated Kinkeri en route to a Unanimous Decision victory. He did the majority of his damage in the clinch, where he landed 90% of his attempted strikes. He also showed great boxing, and a solid ground game as well. He was too much for Kinkeri who did everything he could to try and take control of this fight.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... "Deadly" Scott Spade

Anthony Creaturos (9-3) vs Aslan "Spider" Bagrian (8-3-1) 185lbs

Creaturos barely broke a sweat in taking out Bagrian. He showed great boxing and got the early knockdown in the 1st. He followed Bagrian to the ground to work his ground and pound, but Bagrian recovered well and was trying to hit a submission off of his back. The ref stepped in and stood the guys up, only for Creaturos to get the quick takedown and end th round on top. The 2nd was more of the same, but Creaturos worked his boxing. He landed a stellar right hand that sent Bagrian crashing to the mat. Creaturos pounced and started dropping bombs forcing the ref to call an end to the match.

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:40 of Round 2... Anthony Creaturos

"You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak (8-2) vs Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (7-4) 265lbs

Sobchak took home the quick W in this one. Bowes came out as the aggressor trying to put his boxing to good use. Sobchak countered by going into the clinch. He started working his knees to the head which opened up a cut on Bowes. He then went for and got the takedown. From there he started working his ground and pound, landing 100% of his strikes and forcing the ref to step in and stop the damage after Sobchak KO’d Bowes.

Winner by KO (Strikes) 2:27 of Round 1... "You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak

Roibos "The Wolverine" Fredriksson (6-0) vs Stringer Bell (11-7) 185lbs

Fredriksson stays perfect and improves to 7-0 after he put on a dominant performance in this one.

He showed great ground defense, and even better boxing, MT, and clinch. Bell really didn’t have an answer for the onslaught that Fredriksson delivered. You do have to give it up for Bell as he took a beating, but still was there at the end of the fight competing.

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Roibos "The Wolverine" Fredriksson

Rick "Tiny" Thompson (5-1) vs Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem (9-2) 265+lbs

This one wasn’t even close. Metusalem put on a clinch and dirty boxing clinic en route to his first round stoppage of Thompson. He clinched up early in the round, and never broke it until Thompson caved to th the floor when he couldn’t take any more punishment.

Winner by TKO (Punches) 1:20 of Round 1... Boris "Angry Fist" Metusalem

Veijo "TKO" Kala (3-3) vs Tor Svensson (5-4) 205 lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 4:28 of Round 1... Tor Svensson

Needadis "Commander" Shepard (5-0) vs Brett Landers (4-2) 205lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Needadis "Commander" Shepard

Artturi "AIV" Virtanen (8-4) vs Jeet Kun Do (6-5) 265+lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Artturi "AIV" Virtanen

Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic (5-4) vs Lou Cifer Jr (8-10) 265lbs

Winner by TKO (Strikes) 0:05 of Round 3... Herb "The Ladies Man" Tarlic

Erling Mathias Havna (5-4) vs Ilmo "The Crusher" kolho (3-8) 265+lbs

Winner by Unanimous Decision... Erling Mathias Havna

Hello fight fans and other asshats out there. This is Aarne Tanninen reporting from

Washington D.C. I'm here to give you a preview of NFC50 Mortensson vs Flashlighter.

The event will take place at Kallio Dome saturday 28th of august. And tickets are

basically free so be there cheapskates.

Here's the main card scouting report and predictions:

1st up we have Hannu Hantta against Valdemar Friman.

Hannu "Hanhi" Hantta is a well rounded fighter with 3 wins in a row before this fight. His most trusted weapon are his solid leg kicks with 74% accuracy. Just kidding that's his second most effective weapon. Hannu is phenomenal in the clinch throwing everything at the enemy. We'll see if his rounded standup game is enough for Friman. Friman on the other hand, is a prodigy of known family of knifefighters in finland. Well versed in ancient knifefighting techniques. However Valde sold his knives and started practicing the art of unarmed combat, and is very good at it. Some might say he might lack finishing power or skill, but the fact remains that he can defeat you in any aspect of fighting. Whether it goes to the clinch or to the ground or standing up Friman can hang with the best of them. His best advantage against Hantta is his brown belt in kaaleejutsu we'll see if that is enough.

Arska's prediction: Hantta's clinchgame is too overwhelming but however he might have difficulties finishing Friman. Hantta via decision. He better watch out after the fight if he wins. It is rumoured that the whole clan of Frimans, Lindemans and Hagert's are there watching.

Next up SUPERHEAVYWEIGHTS Rick "Tiny" Thompson and Anselmi Kierre collide.

Thompson has solid boxing and 5 (T)KOs to prove it. And that's it nothing more to it than big fists flying. However his chin is questionable with 2 Tko losses. But the real question in this fight is can he prevent the takedown? If not, can he prevent the GnP of Kierre? his TDD is also questionable with 1 attempt and 1 defended takedown. This fight will answer a lot of questions for Thompson. Kierre is a pure ground fighter, however he has solid leg kicks in his game. 38% accuracy with takedowns and 44% accuracy with his GnP and 5 tko finishes. We'll have to see how this plays out. It all comes down to Kierre's ability to take Thompson down.

Arska's prediction: I have no idea but there is 450cm and 647 pounds of MAN in the cage. It's a coinflip. My coin flipped for Thompson. Whatever the result is it will be a slobberknocker.

AAAAAAAAaaand... Our Co-Main event offfffff the evening! We have some heavyweights!

"You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak taking on Peter "Shower" North Sobchak has a solid standup game. No I'm not talking about him and some awkward jokes in front of an crowd. His act (wait, wat?) is also mixed with some takedowns and GnP. Basically he can do it all, A true Mixed Martial Artist. His clinch is also excellent, however he tends to bleed too much because he stuck his face into a sander at arts & crafts class. And in the other corner Peter North! Can you talk about polished elbows? Holy shit! This guy is all elbows, fucking elbows man! his fights are like a chick on the rag started massacring pigs.

Aarne's pick: Dem elbows dude! how good Sobchak is in the clinch it doesn't take away the fact that he stuck his face into a sander and bleeds like a pig nowadays. The elbows are going to land eventually. One thing I'm intrigued however is Peter North's nickname. Does he like to take showers or is he a "Shower not a grower" and not like most people say "I'm a grower not a shower." I'm talking about his penis here if someone misunderstood. What am I talking about bhargarbllbll.

...NEXT MATTTTCHHHH AAAAAND THE MAAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING. NFC WELTERWEIGHT BELT ON THE LINE.

The loser has to wear suspenders. Felix Flashlighter challenges the reigning champ Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson in a cliche matchup by now. Ground guy vs. the Other dude. The challenger Fleshlighter is the other dude. And he is no joke. Flesh.. I mean Flashlighter has a solid muay thai game and his last finish with that technique is from -95. However he can not be finished either. He posesses a diamond chin. And the reigning champion has one split decision defence of his belt. But his solid ground grinding has hearned him a 12-3 record with 7 submissions, and the only way to finish Fleshlighter is via submission. The interesting fact is that these two have squared off before with Mortensson being the better man. But he was unable to stop Flashlight with 10 submission attempts. This saturday we'll see how these guy's games have evolved.

Aarne's pick: Mortensson via Grapple Rape. The only scenario for Flashlighter is to

KO Mortensson and with his record that is unlikely.

And that's that I'm pretty drunk and of to happy hours now!

SEE YOU ALL AT NFC 50

NFC 51: Paalio vs Metusalem 2 Preview

Main Event:

For the Super Heavyweight Championship:

Aalio Paalio (9-3) vs Boris Metusalem (10-2)

Here we go! What would possibly be better for this night main event than having over 600lbs of meat trying to beat eachother senseless? Both fighters are NFC veterans and standup fighters. In their last

fight defending champion Paalio finished Metusalem in just over 3 minutes. Winner will have his hands full when it comes time to reunite the belts!

Co-Main Event:

Unski Hallavaara (13-4) vs Pekka Perkele (8-4)

This is very interesting match as both fighters are very similarily skilled, even though Perkele likes to utilize his ground skill little more than Hallavaara. Don't let Hallavaaras 4 losses fool you as those have been against some of the most decorated fighters in the game, he really has been in the cage with the best. Interesting to see which one will climb up the stacked LHW division ladder towards new shot at the belt!

Kalle Kinkeri (11-3-1) vs Amigo Cerveza (9-2-1)

Kalle Kinkeri who lost his belt in last fight is looking to get back to title contention at expence of up-and-comer Cerveza. Cerveza has gotten 7 wins out of his last 8 matches and he thinks he is ready for shot at the belt, all he has to do is go through Kinkeri. Both guys prefer to slug it out on the feet so judges won't even have to watch this fight (Not like they would anyway, often seems like they just throw dice to decide the winner)

Ricardo miami vice (8-3) vs Arne Kaurismaa (10-4)

This ones a classic, ground fighter against standup fighter. Kaurismaa has insane boxing skills that he'll be looking to utilize for a KOTN award. miami vice has never been knocked out though so it will be harder than it looks like. miami vice should be looking to take the fight to ground asap for a chance at victory. It all comes down to which fighter will dominate where the fight takes place. It will be interesting to see how Kaurismaa will do under new management.

Undercard Matches:

Miksu Rupunen (10-5) vs Oloff Larsen (8-5)

Joachim Peiper (6-1) vs Artturi Virtanen (10-4)

Ran Plan III (3-1) vs Risto Ruskea (10-6-1)

Tunturi Pony (1-0) vs Jeet Kun Do (6-6)

Lou Cifer Jr (8-11) vs Tommi Turmiola (3-6)

Raimo Tikkari (2-6) vs Tami Flu (4-7)

NFC 51: Paalio vs Metusalem 2 Recap

Main Event:

For the Super Heavyweight Championship:

Aalio Paalio (9-3) vs Boris Metusalem (10-2)

What a fight! As predicted neither wanted to take the fight to ground. Metusalem didn't want to make same mistakes he'd done on their last bout so he chose to attack very aggressively. Paalio obviously wasn't prepared for flurry like that didn't know how to react. Metusalem quickly worked him out with boxing in and out of the clinch. Paalio was bleeding all over the place already in one minute and the doctor decided to end the fight late in second minute as Paalios cut was too bad to let the fight continue. On the post fight interview Paalio said that he thinks that doctor stoppage was too early as he could have continued to fight. I have to disagree with him as the cut looked just NASTY.

Winner by TKO(Cut) and the new Super Heavyweight Champion: Boris Metusalem

Co-Main Event:

Unski Hallavaara (13-4) vs Pekka Perkele (8-4)

Whoa, I have never witnessed as one sided match as this one! It was all about Hallavaara showcasing his skills, as he landed almost 200 shots in just fifteen minutes. Perkele was just standing there and being punished. I was very suprised that the referee didn't stop the fight but just let Perkele take it. Perkele showed big heart and chin being able to survive the whole fight but hearing all the judges score it 30-24 must have been heartbreaking. Fight of the night award winner!

Winner by Unaminous Decicion: Unski Hallavaara!

Kalle Kinkeri (11-3-1) vs Amigo Cerveza (9-2-1)

This fight some quite even on boxing department but when Kinkeri managed to take it to clinch Cerveza was in trouble. Kinkeri punished Cerveza there with all sorts if strikes while all Cerveza did was try to drag the fight to ground. At some points the fight was little slow paced and spectators started to get restless but it was entertaining match overall. Kinkeri put himself right back to title contention with this win.

Winner by Unaminous Decicion: Kalle Kinkeri

Ricardo miami vice (8-3) vs Arne Kaurismaa (10-4)

Just one question remains after this fight, what was Arne Kaurismaa thinking? He possessess insane standup skills and had huge advantage there but all he did was to try takedowns. miami vice ofcourse had nothing against that as he had big advantage on ground. While in ground it was all about fighting for position, miami vice was able to land some shots and had some very close submission attempts which made the difference in judges eyes.

Winner by Unaminous Decicion: Ricardo miami vice

Undercard Matches:

Oloff Larsen defeated Miksu Rupunen by Submission (Armbar) (Submission of the Night)

Joachim Peiper defeated Artturi Virtanen by TKO(Strikes) (Knockout of the Night)

Ran Plan III defeated Risto Ruskea by TKO(Punches)

Jeet Kun Do defeated Tunturi Pony by TKO(Strikes)

Lou Cifer Jr defeated Tommi Turmiola by TKO(Strikes)

Raimo Tikkari defeated Tami Flu by Submission(Strikes)

NFC PPV 1

Holy sh*t freaks and freakerettes! This fight card will rock your socks off! All the NFC top fighters are on this card! On 9/11 the Kallio dome will see a Mixed Martial Arts event never seen before.

In the Main Event:

Tomi "Felix" Koski (14-1) vs John "Maynard" Keynes (12-1)

This light heavyweight bout is between two of the very best pound for pound fighters MMA Tycoon has to offer. Koski, who is affiliated with the notorious FinnFighters, is a versatile fighter who is able to finish fights standing up or on the ground and is currently the NFC’s LHW champ. In his latest fight he took a TKO win over the very talented Bob Sagat who himself is known for destroying middleweight fighters in London.

However, I doubt Koski will want to roll with the opponent he is facing at NFC PPV! Facing Koski from the other side of the cage is John “Maynard” Keynes, the AFC’s LHW champ. This JMFC-related fighter defines what the “animal spirits” really are. In his latest fight Keynes submitted the tough-as-nails Urho Itaniemi with a Brabo Choke. Even Joey Karate was impressed! Expect fireworks, people!

In the co-Main Event:

Pekka “Venom” Topohanta (13-1-1) vs “The Eight Wonder” Conquer This (14-4)

In the co-Main Event we have a non-title fight between two heavyweight champs. This bout is between the NFC heavyweight champ “the Venom” and the MIFC heavyweight champ “the Eight Wonder”. Neither fighter is afraid to throw his bones against his opponent with bad intentions. Both guys kick hard as mules and neither one is interested in rolling in the ground. What sets these guys apart is the fact that Topohanta is known for his nasty elbows that cut huge gashes and end up finishing fights. He must have been a butcher in his previous life judging by the way he treats flesh and bone in a callous manner. However, “The Eight Wonder” truly is the embodiment of a world class striker and has the ability to stop the savage Topohanta. I doubt this fight will go the distance. The fight is very likely to come to an end in a quick and ruthless manner by one of the fighters.

Undercard:

(205 lbs) ”KeiOu” Mikko Tysooni (10-3) vs Sampsa Siloposki (12-2)

These two experienced fighters will slug it out to see who will rise in the ranks of the NFC. Both guys like to stand toe-to-toe and fire bombs. Siloposki is a more versatile striker with kicks in his arsenal, but Tysooni’s boxing is slightly better. Both guys have the ability to finish the fight in spectacular manner if they manage to pull the trigger at the right moment.

(185 lbs TITLE) Anthony Creaturos (11-3) vs Roibos “The Wolverine” Fredriksson (8-0)

Creaturous currently has the NFC middleweight belt but the rumour has it that “The Wolverine” is not content with that. Creaturous will have to deal with Fredriksson’s kicks and clinchwork to keep his belt. If the fight does go to the ground, Fredriksson probably doesn’t want to end up in the bottom. Creaturous has shown some nasty ground and pound in his previous fights which has caused the fainthearted crowd members to pass out. However, Fredriksson has a brown belt in BJJ and some say he has been working with the rubber guard. That means he may be able to slip that triangle on faster than Chael Sonnen can spit insults at Anderson Silva. Expect a chess match, folks.

(170 lbs) Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (13-3) vs Martti "Missing Link" Molo (11-3-1)

This three round middleweight bout is very interesting especially for the hardcore fans. Very different styles will meet in the cage as former SISU middleweight champion Martti Molo will take on current NFC welterweight champ Jesse Mortensson. There is no doubt that the Missing Link will try to pepper the BigJ with kicks and punches and to avoid the takedown. However, if BigJ gets that takedown Martti will be in all kinds of trouble. According to rumours, BigJ has said that he is “going to put Martti on his back and make him gag on his ‘Missing Link’”! When Martti was told about this he callously responded that “the duel begins with me and BigJ standing 5 paces apart of each other. When the fight ends, I’ll be still standing, he won’t.” Wow, I hope Yves L. won’t be the referee in this match or someone just might not survive to tell the tale!

(265 lbs) Abdullah ”Anabolinen” Virtanen (12-3) vs Syltty ”orhi” Tallikone (12-5)

Abdullah is known for two things: vicious striking and an insatiable desire to wear all things made of leopard skin. Syltty is a much more humble fighter, but don’t let the looks deceive you: under those ugly clothes and dirty beard is man whose right hand has been registered by the FBI as a lethal weapon. He also loves to clinch and throw knees at his opponent in order to tease some of those prehistoric sounds out of them. Abullah on the other hand will probably dance like a 270 pound butterfly and sting like a juiced up mutant bee. This fight’s going to be brutal.

(155 lbs) Rolf Thorkildsen (9-3) vs Valdemar “Mora” Friman (11-4)

This is the only lightweight fight on the card. These guys have so much talent I doubt that it’s even legal. Well, we managed to distract the State Athletic Commission and get this fight sanctioned! Both guys are freestyle fighters with an emphasis on the ground game. Most of their victories have come via submission, but they can knock people out standing up just as well. Friman has a slight advantage in the kicking department, but otherwise these guys are very evenly matched.

(265 lbs) “The Sandman” Jiis DeKuyt (5-1) vs T "DÆNASOR" Rex (11-5)

DeKuyt has gone through his opponents like a whirlwind by ending his last five fights via (T)KO. If “the Sandman” gets his way, this fight is going to end with Rex’s body lying flat on the canvas and his mind sailing at the Bahamas. However, Rex’s wrestling is far superior to DeKuyt’s so there is a very real possibility that it is in fact “the Sandman” who’s on his back tapping furiously as Rex jerks DeKuyt’s arm back in an armbar.

(205 lbs) Abdi “Veli” Muhammed (3-0) vs Terry Uzi (5-0)

On paper, Uzi seems to be the underdog skillwise. However, his perfect record (5-0) tells another story: all his fights have ended via (T)KO. Indeed, Abdi will have to bring his A-game or he will be eating liquid food through a straw after this fight.

(170 lbs) "Tolkuton mullikka" Palkki Niskavuori (4-0) vs Martti Aho (10-7)

Let the bodies hit the floor! I’m confident that this fight will be a definite crowd pleaser. I’m not exaggerating one bit as I tell you that Martti Aho is an elite boxer with serious power in his punches. However, “Tolkuton mullikka” has more ways to hurt his opponent. I’m expecting some furious kicks from Niskavuori and it would be a huge surprise if Aho isn’t at least limping after this fight. There is also a much more grim possible future for Aho, as his head just might come off if one of those Niskavuori’s CroCop-style left high kicks lands flush.

NFC PPV 1 Recap

Main Event:

Tomi "Felix" Koski (14-1) vs John "Maynard" Keynes (12-1)

The fight proceeded pretty much as expected: Koski showed his dominance striking-wise, opening a huge cut on Keynes’ face with strikes and knocking Keynes down twice. However, Keynes showed the heart of a lion as he took Koski down and once the fight hit the ground we entered Keynes’ element: all it took was one submission attempt. It’s not how many times you’re knocked down; it’s how many times you get up after that.

After 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). John Keynes!

Co-Main event:

Pekka “Venom” Topohanta (13-1-1) vs “The Eight Wonder” Conquer This (14-4)

Topohanta had adopted a very cautious game plan entering the fight. He threw very few punches and focused on kicks. This game plan did not play out well against “The Eight(h) Wonder” who managed to neutralize Topohanta’s most effective weapons: clinchwork and elbows. In fact, Topohanta was not able to clinch even once. Instead, Conquer This dominated the standup aspect of the fight even though Topohanta was able to knock “The 8th Wonder” down once. This dominant performance led the NFC’s brass also to select this fight as the Fight of the Night and awarded both fighters two G’s.

Winner, by unanimous decision... Conquer This!

Undercard:

(205 lbs) ”KeiOu” Mikko Tysooni (10-3) vs Sampsa Siloposki (12-2)

As expected, these guys stood toe-to-toe and exchanged punches and kicks. Siloposki got the better of Tysooni by throwing more strikes and with better accuracy. Siloposki finished the fight in spectacular manner by first opening a big cut on Tysooni’s face and then punching Tysooni’s lights out.

After 3:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sampsa Siloposki!

(185 lbs TITLE) Anthony Creaturos (11-3) vs Roibos “The Wolverine” Fredriksson (8-0)

Creaturous could not take Fredriksson down and managed to land merely one punch. Like the Thai people say: “You can’t box your way out of a Thai Boxing match.” As predicted, Fredriksson threw kicks that Creaturous could not handle. Finally Fredriksson dropped Creaturous with a beautiful head kick. A couple of more punches for good measure and it was a wrap, son! KO of the Night -award for Frediksson!

After 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roibos Fredriksson!

Roibos Fredriksson is the new middleweight champion!

(170 lbs) Jesse "BigJ" Mortensson (13-3) vs Martti "Missing Link" Molo (11-3-1)

A lot of smack talk before this match and guess what? Everything that was said came through. Everything said by Mortensson, that is. Indeed, Molo did land some nice strikes standing up, but once Mortensson got Molo on the ground it was all BigJ, baby! Molo did show some nice defensive grappling by sweeping Mortensson, but in the end Mortensson’s submissions were too much for Molo. Mortensson’s armbar also got him the Submission of the Night –award.

After 2:26 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jesse Mortensson!

(265 lbs) Abdullah ”Anabolinen” Virtanen (12-3) vs Syltty ”orhi” Tallikone (12-5)

It didn’t take Tallikone long to realize that he was way over his head with this fight. Nothing he tried seemed to work. Abdullah Virtanen floated like a butterfly and stung Tallikone several times like a bee. A powerful and highly accurate bee, one might add. Virtanen got one takedown late in the fight, but that was too little, too late.

Winner, by unanimous decision... Abdullah Virtanen!

(155 lbs) Rolf Thorkildsen (9-3) vs Valdemar “Mora” Friman (11-4)

These crazy f*ckers threw each other across the cage like ragdolls. Kimuras, guillotines, triangles, leg locks, arm triangles, armbars, ground and pound… these guys threw everything they know, but neither one was able to finish the fight. Crazy stuff and a high rating, considering it was pretty much a pure ground fight.

Winner, by unanimous decision... Rolf Thorkildsen!

(265 lbs) “The Sandman” Jiis DeKuyt (5-1) vs T "DÆNASOR" Rex (11-5)

Well, I have to admit, I thought Rex would run through “The Sandman” by utilizing his superior wrestling. In fact, he did take DeKuyt down three times and landed some nice ground and pound as well as tried to land two submissions. DeKuyt’s quite dominant striking in the second round made the judges shuffle their papers a lot and in the end the fight was ruled a draw. Next time the guys will know better not to let the fight go to the judges.

(205 lbs) Abdi “Veli” Muhammed (3-0) vs Terry Uzi (5-0)

Two undisputed fighters entered the ring and only one undisputed fighter exited the ring. Both guys were throwing wild strikes, but in the end it was Muhammed how managed to throw the more precise combinations. Tough luck for Uzi, maybe he will train harder for his next fight.

After 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Abdi Muhammed!

(170 lbs) "Tolkuton mullikka" Palkki Niskavuori (4-0) vs Martti Aho (10-7)

Oh, I see what happened! Niskavuori had been training in the jungle with those nasty little Thai guys! “Tolkuton mullikka” clasped his hands behind Aho’s head, threw a couple of hard knees to the body, released the grip and started to work on Aho’s head like surgeon out of hell. Eight elbows to the face of Aho and the doctor had no other choice but to stop the fight. I’m quite sure I saw Aho’s skull through one of the cuts. I can’t believe they showed this fight live on Pay-per-view. I said it before and I’ll say it again: “You can’t box your way out of a Thai boxing match.”

After 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Palkki Niskavuori!

NFC 52: Sobchak vs Silakka Preview

Main Event:

Jeff Sobchak (10-2) vs Timo Silakka (9-7)

For the main event we have very interesting match where fighters with very differend styles meet and see whos better! Sobchak has focused on his Muay Thai and Wrestling whereas Silakka on Boxing and BJJ. It appears that Sobchak is slightly the favorite here looking at records but Silakka is more experienced fighter and should never be counted out. Although Silakkas chin has always been a questionmark so Sobchak will propably be looking for a quickkl KO.

Co-Main Event:

Pasi Kullero (5-0) vs Kimbo Lice (8-3)

Undefeated up and comer Kullero is looking to move up the Middleweight ladder here against Lice. This one definately has fight of the night potential as Lice is always going for broke! You've never seen a boring match from him and shouldn't expect one now. Both there guys have very similar skills and it's too close to call for winner.

Arto Muna (10-5) vs Hannu Hantta (10-6)

Another interesting match here as two very experienced NFC warriors meet again. Last time they met it was Muna who was able to win the belt back then. Muna is mostly known for his great boxing skills and glass jaw. We're very unlikely to see judges get to work as this one will end quickly with one fighter unconsciouss...

James Dille (9-4) vs Ludvig Landersson (5-2)

Another Heavyweight clash! Dille and Landersson are both considered mid-tier fighters in their weight class and they just hate it, both are definately looking to grap a victory to move to top tier. I'd have to say that Landersson has somewhat advantage here because of his boxing and knockout power, despite having lost his last two fights.

Undercard Matches:

Al Inyourbutt (6-2) vs Syntha Six (10-6)

Harry Sachz (5-3) vs Matti Teppo (2-0)

Mega Fredriksson (4-2) vs Demian Silva (4-1)

Jamal Quik (10-7) vs Will Power (2-0)

Hokkus Pokkus (2-0) vs George Dickson (6-2)

Seppo Sulkijalihas (8-5) vs Raimo Tikkari (3-6)

NFC 52: Sobchak vs Silakka Review

Main Event:

Jeff Sobchak (10-2) vs Timo Silakka (9-7)

Our main event didn't quite go as predicted. At very beginning Silakka was getting better of Sobchak in striking game landing some heavy shots. But when Sobchak got the fight to clinch the tide changed as Silakka wasn't prepared for that. Sobchak kept beating him everything he's got, dirty boxing, elbows and knees everywhere! Despite being so much better in clinchgame he was unable to capitalize and break Silakka down. All the judges judged the fight for Sochak and he moves one step closer to the NFC Heavyweight belt!

Winner by Unaminous Decicion: "You see what happens?" Jeff Sobchak!

Co-Main Event:

Pasi Kullero (5-0) vs Kimbo Lice (8-3)

Kullero truly showed what he is made of in our Co-Main event agains Lice, he took the fight to clinch straight away and just hammered away! All Lice could do was try to avoid those shots and hope to break the clinch. When he was finally capable of breaking it he was too tired and it took only one clean punch

from Kullero to end the fight. Kullero is really starting to make other fighters in middleweight division look out for him!

Winner by TKO (Strikes): "Hillitön Paahtaja" Pasi Kullero!

Arto Muna (10-5) vs Hannu Hantta (10-6)

We got full 15 minutes of non-stop action here as Muna and Hantta battled it out in their rematch. Arto Munaproved to be more versatile fighter than Hantta, getting the better of him in boxing and also mixing it up with takedowns and ground game. Judges all saw the fight in same way, Muna winning all rounds 10-9.

Winner by Unaminous Decicion: Arto "Betonikives" Muna!

James Dille (9-4) vs Ludvig Landersson (5-2)

Wow, Landersson really showed great agility! He started immediately brutally punching Dille and after just couple of punches Dille was knocked down, Landersson followed him to ground and finished the fight there with some hard ground and pound. Despite not being the biggest heavyweight Landersson is a force to reckon!

Winner by TKO(Strikes): Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson!

Undercard Matches:

Al Inyourbutt (6-2) defeated Syntha Six (10-6) by TKO(Strikes)

Harry Sachz (5-3) defeated Matti Teppo (2-0) by KO(Punch)

Mega Fredriksson (4-2) defeated Demian Silva (4-1) by Unaminous Decicion

Will Power (2-0) defeated Jamal Quik (10-7) by KO(Punches)

Hokkus Pokkus (2-0) defeated George Dickson (6-2) by KO(Head Kick)

Raimo Tikkari (3-6) defeated Seppo Sulkijalihas (8-5) by Unaminous Decicion

NFC 53 Itaniemi vs Jokinen Preview

Main Event:

Urho Itaniemi (14-3) vs Ossi Jokinen (15-1-1)

For the main event we have a huge treat for fight fans all over the world as two Light Heavyweight superstars meet again! It's almost exactly 2 months since these guys fought at St. Petersburg, that time Itaniemi got the better by great accuracy of shots and defeated Jokinen for the first time in his career. Jokinen has been wanting this rematch ever since and it's finally here at NFC53! You can expect some insane standup action as neither of them is a big ground action fan.

Co-Main Event:

Aarre Voutilainen (9-3) vs Kalle Kinkeri (12-3-1)

Our Co-Main Event is definately worth checking as former Duel no1 contender Voutilainen is looking to get back to some spot in NFC againt former NFC champion Kinkeri. What also makes this fight so interesting is the very differend skills of these warriors, Voutilainen is pretty much pure boxer utilizing his hands where Kinkeri is much more well rounded. Winner of this match is well on his way to be next contender at middleweight division!

Aalio Paalio (9-4) vs Rick Thompson (6-2)

Holy Sh*t! Nothing could be more exciting than this fight. Two 225cm tall guys who both weight well over 300lbs makes you feel quite small. Rumor says that they had reinforce the cage at Kallio Dome so it would last these fighters! Judges can go grap a cup of coffee during this match as their services will not be needed, neither of the fighters have ever went to decicion! It's kill or get killed mentality in this fight!

Juha Suttu (9-1) vs Oloff Larsen (9-5)

Suttu is former champion in Tokyo and has moved to Finland to test his wings in NFC organization. He's riding amazing 9 fight win streak and is looking to get the tenth against Larsen. It will be interesting how he will fare in Helsinki against some of the top fighter in world! Larsen would seem to be the underdog here with suspect chin and not quite so great skills as Suttu. But if he can come up with great gameplan nothing is impossible, thats why we love MMA!

Undercard Matches:

Kake Luikku (6-3) vs Anselmi Kierre (7-3)

Timo Ryti (7-2-1) vs Lasse Lukottaja (8-4)

Kimmo Reki (12-8) vs Ron Jeremy (5-2)

All or Nothing (9-6) vs Pauli Sankari (8-6-1)

Lou Cifer Jr (9-11) vs Muay Thai (3-2)

Risto Ruskea (10-7-1) vs Kalle Reinikainen (1-0)

NFC 53 Itaniemi vs Jokinen Review

What an insane night we had at Kallio Dome! The house was packed with 10000 fight fans and our ears felt it in the morning, people were standing up and screaming most of the night as the fights just got better and better. We saw finishes in all but one fight which is quite rare!

Main Event:

Urho Itaniemi (14-3) vs Ossi Jokinen (15-1-1)

Our Main Event was over very quickly as both fighters came in swinging! Itaniemi and Jokinen were clearly looking to knock eachother out with some huge powershots, both guys got cut in the exchances throwing blood all over the cage. In just under a minute Itaniemi made a big mistake by trying to punish Jokinens body and left himself too open, Jokinen instantly capitalized on that mistake by countering by beautiful combo that put Itaniemi to sleep. That is propably one of the greatest knockout in the history of MMA!

Winner by KO(Strikes): Ossi Jokinen!

Co-Main Event:

Aarre Voutilainen (9-3) vs Kalle Kinkeri (12-3-1)

After this fight it was no problem deciding which was the fight of the night. I don't think I've ever witnessed a fight like this. Voutilainen was swinging wildly right from the start hitting mostly air and allowing Kinkeri to counter with some nice punches and kicks. Kinkeri was slowly pickin Voutilainen apart for the first 5 minutes. When the second round started Kinkeri appeared a little too confident in his striking and that's when Voutilainen finally landed his powershot right on the button of Kinkeri, knocking him out cold! Voutilainen prowed himself once again and in the afterfight interview he expressed his interest in rematching with Anabol Asteroid...

Winner by TKO(Strikes): Aarre Voutilainen!

Aalio Paalio (9-4) vs Rick Thompson (6-2)

This meeting of Super heavyweights went exactly as predicted and what fans were waiting for, a total war! Both guys started banging it out from very start, although Thompson was trying to mix it up with takedown couple of times but with very little success. Thompson was very confident after cutting Paalio early on and event started taunting him in middle of the fight... Big mistake. Even though Paalio was cut very badly and couldn't see with one eye he still was bringing it one. And just before the 3 minute mark he landed a powerful right hand that put Thompson down and forced the referee to stop the fight.

Winner by TKO(Strikes): Aalio Paalio

Juha Suttu (9-1) vs Oloff Larsen (9-5)

Wow. Nothing more to say. NFC newcomer Suttu wanted to make a statement to fighters in Light Heavyweight division, well I think they're aware of him now! He just took Larsen after faking with punch and submitted him with arm triangle in just 36 frigging seconds! People better beware as Suttu is here to stay and lurking for the belt!

Winner by Submission(Arm Triangle): Juha Suttu!

Undercard Matches:

Kake Luikku (6-3) defeated Anselmi Kierre (7-3) via Kneebar Submission

Timo Ryti (7-2-1) defeated Lasse Lukottaja (8-4) by Unaminous Decicion

Ron Jeremy (5-2) defeated Kimmo Reki (12-8) by TKO(Cut)

All or Nothing (9-6) defeated Pauli Sankari (8-6-1) via Triangle Submission

Lou Cifer Jr (9-11) defeated Muay Thai (3-2) via Submission (Strikes)

Kalle Reinikainen (1-0) defeated Risto Ruskea (10-7-1) by Knockout

NFC 54 Rauta vs Landersson Preview

Main Event:

265 lbs Pertti Rauta (10-3) vs Ludvig Landersson (6-2)

For the Main Event we have a special treat to you as Pertti Rauta and Ludvig Landersson meet in the cage for second time! These rivals have great tension between them, Finnish vs Swedish and a rematch... Last time Landersson was able to quickly KO Rauta but Rauta has come a long way since then. He's had world class training and some big wins in superfights in Europe. Landersson prefers to just stand and bang whereas Rauta is more of a clinch fighter. It all comes down whether Rauta can get past Landerssons big hands and get close before he's dropped by one of his bombs!

Co-Main Event:

265 lbs Paul Baller (8-3) vs Mauri Kunnas (10-2-1)

Another big Heavýweight fight here as two former Duel champions battle it out. Baller has got two disapponting losses in row now and is looking to change the tide, while Kunnas is quite on the roll with couple wins after losing the belt. No doubt Baller would seem the be the underdog here but he's used to it and proven himself many many times beating more skilled fighters. Definately a fight worth watching!

170 lbs Felix Flashlighter (13-7) vs Palkki Niskavuori (5-0)

Experience vs Youth. Flashlighter has been around the block, having total of 20 fights under his belt he is one of the most experienced fighters in the world today. He's fought with the best, winning some and losing some, never thinking about quitting as he is fighting for the fans! Over the time he's build his skills to extreme quality and is a force to regocnice in welterweight division. Niskavuori on the other hand his great young talent who has climbed the ladder rabidly toward the belt. Tonight is his true test against Flashlighter if he really belong to top of the class. A win would surely throw him all the way up to contender match!

185lbs Ran Plan III (4-1) vs Robert Mules (7-1)

Two very similar fighters are fighting here. Both have only one loss coming by decicion, neither has never been finished. There is a good chance of that changing tonight as both prefer to box it out. Ran Plan III has gathered both Fight of The Night award and KOTN award in his career so expect fireworks. Both are still kinda in middle of their respective division but ending the fight tonight would surely make people notice them as a thread to title.

Undercard Matches:

185 lbs Aslan Bagrian (8-5-1) vs Amigo Cerveza (9-3-1)

170 lbs Scott Hunt (3-1) vs Stan Stewert (7-1)

265 lbs Herb Tarlic (7-4) vs Roddy Bowes (7-6)

185 lbs Tauno Potku (7-3) vs Grammund Rider (5-1)

205 lbs Mikael Akerfeldt (6-2) vs Miksu Rupunen (10-6)

155 lbs Vesku Torni (8-7) vs Travis International (4-3)

NFC 55 Red vs Apila Preview

Main Event:

265 lbs Jimmy Red (12-5) vs Pertti Apila (9-2)

There is big stakes at our Main Event tonight as winner of this heavyweight battle is propably looking at a shot at the belt, or at least top contender match! Jimmy Red has great skills all around, he prefers to softer his opponents up with boxing and then take 'em down and submit them. Apila is more one sided fighter

here as he mostly just uses his heavy hands to knock people out. What makes it really interesting is that Reds ability to take a punch has been questioned lately. In the prefight interview Apila said following: "I'll go in there and simply put him to sleep, he's got no chin to take my punch. It'll all be over in the first round

and I'm back to training for the next match in no time" Well time will tell us if that's true!

Co-Main Event:

185 lbs Anthony Creaturos (11-4) vs Turim Jursu (7-0)

This is the fight that everyone is interested in! Despite having perfect record of 7 wins and no losses people are saying that Jursu took more than he could bite here. At first it looks that way ofcourse as Creaturos is the more skilled fighter here with his great ground ability. But looking at Jursus history it's clear that he's coming in to the cage to win, not just grap a nice wallet. His previous opponents have made the mistake of counting him out before the fight, ending up asleep themselves. Jursu is coming for the kill and kill only, technique doesn't matter so much if you've got Power!

265 lbs Jiis DeKuyt (5-1-1) vs T Rex (11-5-1)

This one is a rematch from just a while back when judges decided their last bout was too close to call so here is rounds four five and six! T Rex has the advantage and ground while De Kuyt is more of a boxer. I think we're gonna see quite similar match than last time, only I hope this time either will finish or at least be clearly

better so that the incompetent judges can decide the winner and these guys can move on on their careers.

185 lbs Teuvo Loman (9-4) v Seppo Hanska (11-6)

Another ground fighter vs boxer matchup here in our middleweight division. Both fighter are really experienced in the octagon having 30 fights combined. Teuvo Loman is the ground fighter and will very likely be looking to take Hanska down and simply pound him to sleep or submit him. Hanska is great boxer and very hard to take down, I'm sure he would be even more of a success if his chin weren't so bad. But in this fight decicing factor won't propably be the chin as Loman just doesn't possess the skills to hurt him standing up. It's too close to call a winner here as it propably comes up to wrestling ability to decide winner.

Undercard Matches:

205 lbs Pekka Perkele (8-5) vs Tammelan Fasaani (9-6)

205 lbs Rohaldo Roguera (3-1) vs Needadis Shepard (7-0)

185 lbs Max Maynard (11-7) vs Stringer Bell (11-9)

205 lbs The Hamburglar (3-0) vs Richard Jenkins (4-3)

265 lbs Riku Noitalahti (5-3) vs Sakke Pietila (3-2)

205 lbs Sepi Kumpulainen (1-0) vs Veijo Kala (3-5)
