Post event - NFC 97 Sankari vs Sai Yuk

265+: Main Event: Nyrkki Sankari v Fong Sai Yuk

I pointed out in the Preview to this fight, that if Fong Sai Yuk cannot get this bout to the mat, he is very susceptible to cuts – he didn’t get the fight to the mat and this is exactly how it ended up finishing as Nyrkki Sankari bossed this fight from start to finish. I was surprised that Sai Yuk did not even go for one takedown, especially in the opening few moments but with both fighters looking to counter it wasn’t easy for Sai Yuk to set up his takedowns which you must credit Sankari for. Sankari mixed up his punches well, opening up his opponent twice in Round 1 before this fight was halted after 1:28 of Round 2 due to (T)KO via Cut. "KO-Artist" Nyrkki Sankari was relatively unchallenged here which was surprising as he strolls to an easy enough win moving to 12-3-0 in the process. For Sai Yuk, he’s really going to have to rethink his whole approach because everyone knows exactly how easy he cuts – It will be a big challenge for him to rethink things over and to see just how he could improve his striking, at least defensively to counteract this.

265: Co Main Event: Grigori Lebedev v Nino Blaze

Grigori Lebedev got himself into a great position here coming into the final round of the Co Main Event of the Evening – He was easily two rounds up and just had to avoid a finish due to his excellent grappling – With his takedowns being pretty much unstoppable as he took down superior striker, Nino Blaze over and over during the opening two rounds to really use up a lot of his opponents energy which might well have proved vital – The final round remained standing but Lebedev knew he had his opponent where he wanted him, rushing and forcing him to take shots he wouldn’t normally have because time was against him. Late in the bout Lebedev was cut open via a head kick, but Grigori Lebedev managed to hold on to takedown a 29:28 win over the dangerous Blaze. If Nino Blaze had his time again, he probably wouldn’t have thrown as many kicks – because when he went to kick the body, this played into Grigori Lebedev’s hands beautifully, being the cause of two of the takedowns the Russian scored during the course of the bout. It was a surprising and effective game plan though from Lebedev who really showed he had another boe to his string here in taking down a massive win and improving to 11-1-0 banishing the first loss of his career out of his system in the process.

265: Syltty Tallikone v Joseph Jones

Syltty Tallikone was on absolutely sublime form here in this Heavyweight bout, there was never any doubt he was winning this one as he condemned Joseph Jones to the mat twice in Round 1 with an imperious combination firstly, then with a massive head kick. How Joseph Jones made it through Round 1 is anyone’s guess because he just got beat up here, with Round 1 ending with Tallikone in top position doing a number on his grounded opponent. Into Round 2 and Jones didn’t fare out any better as he was victim of some really big counter shots from Tallikone before being finished with a superb fake low, go high kick. It was really the performance of a lifetime from Syltty Tallikone who via no coincident has been on the streak of a lifetime, now standing at four straight knock out finishes, be it Technical or single strike. Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone is knocking on the door so to speak in the Heavyweight division of NFC, what is up for him next? Who knows, but absolutely nobody wants this man right now that is for sure.

185: Mike The Meth Addict v Gunnar Ingi Jr

Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr came into this Middleweight bout as a big favourite, and perhaps deserved the tag – But the bookies were defeated here as Mike The Meth Addict outworked his favoured opponent in this quite unremarkable bout. It was no fight for the ages, despite both these men being very high level strikers – and perhaps that’s why, they put on a real stinker here in comparison to the bout that the fans thought they would get. This fight went the distance and remained striking for the whole bout, but there was very little action with both men being very hesitant in pulling the trigger because they had so much, and perhaps too much respect for the others power. Ingi Jr hardly landed on his opponent over the course of three rounds, and his lack of aggression definitely cost him this bout as Mike The Meth Addict perhaps won this one via default rather than any overly notable offence. It wasn’t a classic, but Mike The Meth Addict picks up a big scalp here with this win, and moves himself up the Middleweight ladder where he faces Ted Dibiase next in what will be a bigger test for sure.

265: Richard Simmons always had an element of control in this Heavyweight bout as he outscored Kristof Nikitin two rounds to one, to take home the victory.

185: Joey Silvera scored with a highlight reel KO Head kick finish of Alfa Uros as he took down the win in this Middleweight bout.

170: One sided Welterweight action here as Magnus Ahriman took down a clear 30:27 win over Aarre Voutilainen.

170: Will Power got past the huge amount of leg kicks thrown at him here in this one by Tiao Macale as he managed to punish the latter for swinging and missing multiple times during the course of the three rounds taking home a clear decision win.

155: Rolf Thorkildsen was relentless in taking this Lightweight bout to the ground and Dmitry Nagiev’s plan to keep this on the outside with kicks was pretty easily foiled en route to a Decision win for the former.

155: Pithe Canthropus was knocked out in just 0:37 seconds of Round 1 as Sami Salama absolutely blitzed him here.

NFC 99 Siloposki vs Bear

185: Main Event: Sampsa Siloposki (19-7-0) v Fuzzy "Care" Bear (16-5-0)

The Main Event of NFC 99 features a Middleweight bout between two men in the upper echelons of the division and one that could well propel the winner right into title contention. Fresh off the once in a lifetime, spinning back fist finish of Kalle Reinikainen, Sampsa Siloposki is back in action here and this Exceptional striker will look to furthermore build on that massive win last time out at NFC 95. For those unaware, Siloposki was deep in the final round, losing the fight and from out of nowhere pulled a crazy spinning back fist KO out of the bag and dropped Reinikainen like a rag doll. However despite the finish he will not be happy with how the fight went, and in truth he was outclassed and this is something that he surely cannot let happen again in this bout as he takes on Fuzzy "Care" Bear – himself fresh off a loss to the undisputed NFC Middleweight Champion, Pasi Kullero. This fight looks destined to settled via striking as both these men boast equal striking – I doubt either man will want to go to the mat and that is something that excites NFC fans for sure. Interestingly both men don’t really have a record for being finished so this one could well descend into a gutter brawl but a the key point to this fight might well be the massive height, and with that reach advantage that Fuzzy "Care" Bear will hold coming into this bout – For Siloposki to get anything in this bout he’s going to have to navigate this massive advantage and just how will he going about doing that may well be the deciding factor in this bout. Fuzzy "Care" Bear also seems to have the more power of the two with 13 of 16 of his wins coming by way of (T)KO so the odds to seem stacked in his favour in this bout, can the vastly experienced Sampsa Siloposki do anything to upset the odds?

265: Co Main Event: "Wagner" Paha SIka (15-5-0) v Heikki "100 Pikku-G:tä" Kuula (13-6-0)

On a streak of four straight wins, three of which via (T)KO of some description and making his NFC debut on the Co Main Event of NFC 99, Heikki "100 Pikku-G:tä" Kuula will look to continue his recent superb form as he comes to the number one company worldwide here. A Wonderful Wrestler and BJJ Black belt, this man is a very high level grappler and has 7 of his 13 wins via Submission to date. However as fore mentioned, his striking now seems to be vastly improving owing to his Remarkable Boxing and Respectable Muay Thai – furthermore this man has never been finished, and the confidence that he must take from that must be immense as all his losses to date have been via decision. Although to be honest, you have to believe that those these men are going to revert to type in this bout, because Sensational Boxer and Muay Thai striker "Wagner" Paha SIka will be far too good on his feet you feel for his opponent Saturday night, with 9 of 15 wins via (T)KO Slka is for real, he’s a serious threat to anyone at Heavyweight and he’s certainly no pushover and if Kuula is to make an impact in NFC he’s going to be doing it the hard way for sure. “Wagner” however is nothing if not inconsistent, with a win usually following a loss he’s struggled to put together any sort of form whatsoever recently, but if he recent form keeps up perversely – he is due a win here but I just feel that Kuula will have too much for him here, he certainly seems more hungry, he is on serious form and is improving all the time – He will want to get this fight to the ground as soon as possible despite his seeming inability to be finished though, because “Wagner” cannot be ruled out despite coming into this bout as an underdog in my eyes. Slka will have to negotiate the reach advantage of his opponent here, then avoid the takedowns of a high level grappler – I think these obstacles might well be too much, but look for him to use my words as fuel come fight night.

170: "Tolkuton mullikka" Palkki Niskavuori (12-3-0) v Maddy Rock (17-7-0)

Palkki Niskavuori is a former NFC Welterweight Champion, and this 23 year old Finn is determined to get himself back in a position to be so again because for one so young, this is a supremely talented young man who can go a long way – With two straight wins now via Decision, it appears he’s fighting more cautious than he once was, certainly at the start of his career where he was much more explosive but perhaps this new found tactical acumen is going to productive for him. Boasting Exceptional Boxing and Sensational Muay Thai, not to mention Remarkable Wrestling and dangerous Brown grade BJJ there are very few holes in the game of "Tolkuton mullikka" and he certainly is a daunting task for anyone put in front of him. With two of his three losses to date via Submission, that appears an avenue opponents can exploit but every fight starts standing and this is really where the Finn shines, especially with his lightening quick speed which is something anyone he comes across really seems to struggle with. Maddy Rock is no stranger to a tactical battle either, with 11 of his 17 career wins, or 64% coming by way of Decision, he’s certainly not adverse to grinding a result out when needs be and this Sensational Boxer and Wonderful Wrestler likes to keep fights standing where he dominates and outworks opponents in the clinch. It will be interesting to see if he tries to use his usual strategy against a Muay Thai artist of such a high level or if he will try and keep the space more in this fight and use his vast experience advantage to try and grind out a win. I don’t think there are fireworks in this one unfortunately, but with both men most likely interested in keeping it standing there is always the possibility I could be wrong – I anticipate a keenly contested affair here going the distance, with both men really trying to outdo the other and this one basically comes down to who can adapt better in fight I believe.

170: "Warhammer" Terrell Reed (16-5-0) v Shawn Kronburger (13-3-0)

"Warhammer" Terrell Reed is a Mixed Martial Artist in every sense of the word, boasting Exceptional Boxing and Wrestling, Wonderful Muay Thai and scoring 31% of his wins via Submission he knows what to do with his BJJ and is a danger in every aspect of the bout. However he has lost two of his last three and seems to be undergoing a crisis of confidence right now which is really unlike him because as he’s shown in his career, he’s well capable of putting together a serious winning streak at any time. A long time Welterweight Champion in Vicious Fighting Championships, based in London he knows how to win fights, and he knows how to get to the top but in NFC he has not shown that form just yet – this is something I expect him to try and address, starting Saturday Night against Shawn Kronburger. Kronburger, also coming off a loss is a bit more easy to work out, he likes to stand and bang owing to his Sensational Boxing and largely uses his Exceptional Wrestling to keep fights standing where he can finish, with 8 of 13 career wins thus far coming via (T)KO as this Canadian looks to get back on track at the expense of fellow Welterweight Reed here. This has the potential to be a really good fight, Shawn Kronburger has never been finished before and all his losses have come by way of Decision, I think he’ll look to really apply the pressure on Reed in this one who might well want to try and take it to the mat, physically there is nothing between these two men, with Reed having a slight experience edge, but this one could be a win for Shawn Kronburger if he can keep it standing, he looks to have the power to test anyone, if he can't keep it standing he might well find himself in trouble - that is the key to this fight.

265: Abreham Killyousovizh (17-4-0) v Optimus Prime (16-9-1)

155: Frank Andersson (6-1-0) v Mark "Man of science" Spencer (5-0-0)

205: Goran Persson (5-0-0) v Re Christensen (14-14-0)

155: Valdemar "Mora" Friman (14-8-0) v Mikko "Kikkeli" Koskinen (11-4-0)

185: Bumba "TDC Champion" Motumbo (16-4-0) v Kalle Kinkeri (15-8-1)

155: Jack "The Surreal Killer" Ripper (11-6-0) v Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (8-9-0)

NFC 100

This event needs absolutely no introduction, it is anticipated as one of the best cards in history – This event has a book, run by $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$, get the bets in here - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

185: Main Event: "Hillitön paahtaja" Pasi Kullero (17-0-0) v "Alkulukuja Paskova Karhu" Kosti Johannes (22-7-0)

The Main Event of NFC 100 features the number one ranked fighter, pound for pound in the world, undefeated in seventeen career bouts and the undisputed Middleweight Champion of NFC "Hillitön paahtaja" Pasi Kullero. To date, Kullero has found a way around anyone he’s faced and that included Jigoro Kane at NFC 89 – Kullero is without doubt the most marketable fighter in the world and Saturday night he faces off against "Alkulukuja Paskova Karhu" Kosti Johannes as he defends his Middleweight title for the fifth time. Kullero boasts Sensational Boxing, Exceptional Wrestling, Remarkable Muay Thai and Brown grade BJJ in what is a formidable game for anyone to attempt to negotiate. Kullero is truly a mixed martial artist; he can pretty much do it all. In his last bout at NFC 94, he put on a grappling clinic, taking down Fuzzy Bear with ease and dominating him over the course of five rounds. At NFC 76 he displayed great stand up, destroying Ran Tan III at distance before finishing him in Round 1 via Strikes. And at NFC 89 he showed just how useful he is in the clinch, outworking and dominating Jigoro Kane who until that point was considered the best fighter in the world as he bossed him with dirty boxing to the body and head. Pasi Kullero seems to have an advantage over everyone he’s faced thus far to date, and Kosti Johannes will have to try and work out the riddle of Kullero here which certainly no doubt will be causing Jonannes management team no end of trouble. Jigoro Kane did rock Kullero big time in their bout with a big three punch combo, and that may well be the best way to get at the undisputed Champion, however as fore mentioned – He can change his game up in a second and take it to the mat if needs be, his ability to adapt his game plan is his best asset. "Alkulukuja Paskova Karhu" Kosti Johannes is Sensational Boxer, and he has won 68% of his career wins via Stoppage due to his Boxing, this is an avenue he will feel he can exploit, but can he keep this fight standing? Johannes boasts Exceptional Wrestling, which is considered the same to Kullero and the key to this bout is over the issue of which of these fighters can establish their dominance in the Wrestling department. Kullero will be looking to use his Wrestling to perhaps clinch up and take this fight to the mat, whereas Johannes will be looking to use his Wrestling to keep this fight standing where he’ll feel that he can gain some head way against Kullero who will not want to get himself in the type of trouble that he got himself in against Jigoro Kane. If this fight remains standing I anticipate a highly technical affair, Johannes will certainly feel he can cause what would be a massive upset and he’ll look to use his vast experience advantage to ensure this fight is fought on his terms. However Pasi Kullero looks to be light years ahead of everyone at present, and recognising that he comes into this fight as a massive favourite according to $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$. In my opinion, Johannes can probably cause an upset if he can keep the distance and use his superior Boxing, however this seems to be his only way to win because Kullero just has so many other ways to take this fight and look for him to try and get his hands on Johannes to either clinch up and sap his will to fight, or take this bout to the mat and really dominate him from the top position using his big reach advantage to neutralise the striking on the way in. Kullero is used to the pressure being on him now so I don’t expect that to be an issue, and he’ll be confident in taking down his eighteenth straight win – Remarkably here at the expense of former Fire FC Middleweight Champion, "Alkulukuja Paskova Karhu" Kosti Johannes. 205: Co Main Event: Jigoro "Mollywhop" Kane (27-3-0) v Simon Adebisi (14-3-0)

The Co Main Event of the Evening doesn’t have any titles on the line; however it does have arguably the biggest name in MMA history in it as once again the legendary Jigoro "Mollywhop" Kane steps into the NFC cage. Ranked Third in the World pound for pound, formerly number one, Kane comes into this bout on the back on a highly publicised break up with his management team and we aren’t exactly sure who, if anyone will be coming to the cage with him on Saturday night, let alone working out his game plan which adds to an interesting subplot for this one. With thirty professional bouts, this Elite Boxer and Sensational Muay Thai striker has won 62% of his bouts via Stoppage and he’ll look to keep any fight standing which only adds to the legend of this man. From Montreal, Canada, “Mollywhop” has done everything there is to do in the cage and has absolutely nothing to prove and now he really fights for his legacy – something which was knocked badly at NFC 89 as he was defeated via Unanimous Decision by the best fighter in the world, Pasi Kullero and Kane will surely want to try and get a win here to make a rematch there more feasible for the NFC top brass and himself indeed. Simon Adebisi stands in Kane’s way on Saturday Night, with 85% of his career wins via Submission, he clearly will want to get this fight to the mat and that is something which Kane has faced his whole career and the key to the fight is just this, can Adebisi get Kane onto the mat? A former Champion of ‘It's Fight Time’ Adebisi is certainly well known in Helsinki MMA, but he has the opportunity to put himself in the spotlight worldwide and you have to feel that Kane’s management situation will really do nothing but help Adebisi here. Adebisi holds Exceptional Boxing and Superb Muay Thai, but it is his Remarkable Wrestling and high level Brown grade BJJ that is his money maker with his Submission skills already something of legend. Despite not having as many fights as Kane, Adebisi has been around for a long time – He is a veteran, he’s just not been very active and that is why he can be really expected to give Kane a good bout here. $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$ gives him no chance however against the living legend, with Kane being a massive favourite here – I think Adebisi could catch a distracted Kane cold here, however his lack of effective stand-up might well sabotage his chances here, I think everyone wants to see how Kane would handle a ground game with Adebisi, but this man wasn’t the number one fighter in the World for no reason, the odds are against Adebisi for sure – however if Kane hasn’t been training, or is licking his wounds over his split with his management team, he could well get another one of those knocks to his legacy like Kullero inflicted, and turn his experience in NFC to a bit of nightmare. Simon Adebisi will certainly have the advantage of the crown as this Finn looks to claim a huge scalp, however lots of people are commentating that might well be the only advantage he has in this bout - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

265+: Iiro "The Man" Tolonen (20-7-0) v "Bat'ka" Alexander Lukashenko (9-1-0)

Another Five Round bout ahead now as the Super-Heavyweight title of NFC is decided in what is already a ridiculously stacked card as we move into the final three bouts of the evening. "Bat'ka" Alexander Lukashenko one of the fast rising talents in the world, is given a shot at gold here in only his eleventh career fight. From Kopys, Belarus this young 21 year old has won every fight in his career thus far via stoppage, more often than not in Round 1 as he has exploded onto the scene, leaving a trail of carnage in his slipstream. A 290 pound monster, this Eastern European can call upon obviously effective Sensational Boxing and Exceptional Muay Thai. With Wonderful Wrestling furthermore which he uses to keep fights standing where he can finish with thus far relative ease. The only man to solve the riddle of "Bat'ka" thus far did so with an interesting approach, risking the counter KO by using a lot of kicks from the outside, something which the Champion, Iiro "The Man" Tolonen has not really shown any high level of competency in despite always throwing some every bout, but, without anything else being taken into consideration the Champion holds a massive experience edge here and you know that he’ll look to drag the youngster out of his own game plan and use that relative inexperience that Alexander Lukashenko has to his own gain. Tolonen doesn’t need to be told he’s in a fight here, he knows for sure that "Bat'ka" Alexander Lukashenko must be taken seriously – But he’ll also know that the youngster has real holes in his game which a wily veteran like him can exploit. Boasting Exceptional Boxing and Wrestling and the ability to mix his strikes and takedowns seamlessly, “The Man” has a big advantage here in this bout – Furthermore his work from the clinch is very effective and all this adds up to the fact that he has more in his locker than the explosive power of his opponent which the Champion will want to avoid in the opening Round of this bout. However with 85% of his losses coming by way of stoppage, “The Man” I believe will want to take this fight to the mat as soon as he can away from the power punches of Lukashenko, if he can get this fight to the mat relatively early he’ll most likely wear out the youngster and pick up the win – However, most fans will want to see "Bat'ka" keep this one standing and see just how well the Champion copes with the aggressive Belarusian. $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$ makes the Champion the favourite in this bout – I cannot call it, "Bat'ka" Alexander Lukashenko however can reach the top of the mountain however in just eleven professional fights – His climb has been meteoric and can you really back against a man with the power that he has? I don’t know who’s going to win – but this is for sure one not to be missed as the 21 year old has captured the hearts and minds of NFC with his punishing style and might well come into this fight the fan favourite - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

265: "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling (14-4-0) v Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson (14-4-0)

While the number one contender to the Heavyweight Championship may well be sorted out by the time these two men hit the cage, "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling and Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson have the little matter of sorting out just who leaves NFC 100 with the Heavyweight title as they face off here over the course of Five Rounds. "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling is the biggest favourite of the Night according to $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$. He is massively favoured to retain his Heavyweight title and why not after winning his last seven straight, five of which were by stoppage. A Sensational Boxer and Elite Wrestler, Mitchell Stehling is more than capable of standing with anyone and ending out on top, however as shown in his bout with Veto Remmi, Stehling is at his best taking men down, controlling from the top and absolutely dominating as he did in that bout, indeed he’s taken down 11 of 14 career wins via (T)KO proving just how dangerous he is. "Painijyrä" however did get finished a few times early in his career via strikes, and perhaps that is something that Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson can take heart from, the only issue in that respect is, can he keep the fight standing to try and get something off against the Champion? Once again Landersson finds himself in the position to take the title, and can it be a case of third time lucky? He’s lost his last title fights for title contention and this Exceptional Boxer and Remarkable Muay Thai striker will do the same if he cannot keep this fight standing. This is the key to this fight, whilst “Biffen” holds Wonderful Wrestling, it’s nowhere near the level of Stehling’s and that is why "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling is such a big favourite here. Being the underdog will not cause Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson any problems nor bother him in any way, but the fact that he’s lost his last two title shots will – and this, more than anything will be playing on his mind coming into this one. According to the bookies it’s all Stehlings to lose in probably the most open and shut case of NFC 100, they are willing to reward anyone generously who takes a bet on Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

265: Veto "Rotta" Remmi (25-5-1) v Kalle Kujansuu (12-2-0)

Next up is a bout at Heavyweight which might well just provide us with the next number one contender at 265 with former Champion Veto "Rotta" Remmi in action for the first time since losing the Heavyweight strap against Kalle Kujansuu who comes into this bout on the back of three straight wins. These two met back at NFC 78 with Remmi defeating Kalle Kujansuu after just 1:25 of Round 1 via (T)KO for the Heavyweight title. Veto "Rotta" Remmi needs little introduction to anyone, let along NFC fans, however interestingly, he’s now dropped two of his last three fights – albeit against serious quality opposition. With Wonderful Boxing and Remarkable Wrestling and Muay Thai Remmi likes to keep fights standing, this has led to 64% of his victories thus far, including that one in the previous encounter between these men, I expect he’ll want to try and keep this one standing too considering he knows he’s got the power to put away his opponent. Kalle Kujansuu boasts slightly superior Boxing, but slightly inferior Muay Thai to his opponent Saturday night, and having only lost twice in his career – once to the man he faces Saturday night he’ll look to right one of only two blotches in his career to date. With 83% of his career victories to date via stoppage, Kalle Kujansuu is a legitimate threat to Remmi and there is no doubt that he is much improved model to the one that faced off against “Rotta” back at NFC 78. This one is likely to be settled on the feet and whilst $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$ has Veto "Rotta" Remmi as a massive favourite, and most likely a deserved one. I think that Kalle Kujansuu can do this – however he does face a massive reach, height and weight disadvantage which might well be the key to this fight, as “Rotta” seems to hold all the aces. Kalle Kujansuu is the man on form, he does however face a man though who has seen it all in the vastly experienced former Champion, Veto "Rotta" Remmi. You can expect this one to be finished early, it’s going to be a great bout though and I really think that Kujansuu will give “Rotta” some food for thought during the course of this bout; even if I do think he will come up short. All the money is going on Veto "Rotta" Remmi here, he looks to be the ‘banker’ of the evening - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

205: "Caveman" Ming Xin (22-6-0) v Urho "FinnFury" Itaniemi (23-7-0)

The Light-Heavyweight Championship of NFC up for grabs now as defending Champion “Caveman” Ming Xin is back in action once again, having suffered a loss last time out at the hands of Jigoro Kane in a non-title bout, one wonders if the hangover will continue into this bout – he can afford to have any ill feeling with regards to that bout though as he’ll have his hands absolutely full with Urho "FinnFury" Itaniemi who comes into this bout really looking to right NFC 88 when he lost the same title on the line tonight, to the man who took it from him via a debateable Majority Decision, something which surely will be driving on "FinnFury" in this one. Xin was able to take down Itaniemi at NFC 88 in four of the five rounds that fight went, and that basically won him the fight however it was razor close because he did miss with quite a lot of take down attempts. This bout is poised to follow the same theme I believe and it is finely balanced. The Champion is an Exceptional Wrestler and Brown grade BJJ grappler, he’ll want to take this one to the mat for sure and while he does hold high level Boxing, it seems majorly for defensive purposes, he’s won 54% of his career wins via Submission, so he’s more than able to get the job done whilst on the mat, despite not being able to finish his opponent Saturday night after having more than enough time grappling the first time they met. "Caveman" Ming Xin has never been finished, he’s only ever lost via Decision and he’s as durable as they come, often taking punishment in the search for the take downs. He’s a tough proposition for anyone and Urho "FinnFury" Itaniemi knows this, but he’ll also know – If he frustrates Ming Xin and blocks those takedowns he’ll win this fight. I expect him to really play this one side and keep this to the outside, avoiding letting Xin close the distance under any circumstances – It’s going to be easier said than done however. Also coming off a loss in his last bout, ironically due to Submission, the key to this bout is keeping the fight standing – If "FinnFury" can do that, he’s finished 82% of his fights standing, that record says it all as this Sensational Boxer and Remarkable Muay Thai striker knows what do to. I don’t think this fight is going to be one for the ages, Ming Xin has to get it to the mat, Itaniemi has to avoid that scenario. It’s the classic grappler striker matchup, but interestingly $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$ has Urho "FinnFury" Itaniemi as a massive outsider – I am having some of that action because this man knows what he has to do to win this bout – I am not sure he’ll make the same mistakes as the first bout and I am backing him to gain a measure of revenge over “Caveman” here. Taking into consideration the reach advantage that “FinnFury” will have, I am backing him to keep this one of the outside and try and jab his way to a Decision win - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

170: Felix Flashlighter (20-8-1) v "master of the universe" He Man (13-3-0)

In the first of five title defences at NFC 100, The Welterweight Championship of NFC is up for grabs as dominant Champion; Felix Flashlighter once again puts it all on the line. Flashlighter hasn’t been defeated since NFC 54, that is incredible as the number 5 ranked Welterweight attempts to get himself recognised as number one once again. With Sensational Boxing, Exceptional Muay Thai and Wrestling and a real habit of breaking his opponents wills in one sided Decision wins, Flashlighter really is one of those fighters that comes around every so often that you just wonder how you can defeat him. Although it must be said, he got a serious scare at NFC 88 when Eric Cartman gave him everything he wanted, continually taking him to the mat, perhaps highlighting his only ‘real’ weakness. To defeat Felix Flashlighter, it’s been said you have to really take him over five rounds and out work him – Nobody has been able to do that thus far, however He Man has won 76% of his bouts via Decision and this Exceptional Muay Thai striker and Boxer will be confident he has the tools available to do it. With both these men being very well versed in going the distance – expect them to do this over the five rounds – I don’t think that He Man has the Wrestling to replicate what Eric Cartman did, so I think he’s going to have to work out another way to get this one done. It’s going to be a big ask for him however, something that $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$ recognise, with Felix Flashligher a big favourite to retain his Championship in this one. I think that Flashlighter’s experience will get him through this one – He Man is going to have to have one of those days, where everything just goes right to defeat Felix Flashlighter and I expect the Champion to go on here and extend his record here to nine straight defences without defeat – although you will get a serious return if you back He Man to pull off what would be the upset of the night here - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

205: Eric "88" Lindros (9-2-0) v Jake "Agent" Orange (13-4-0)

Eric "88" Lindros is one of the most effective strikers in NFC, he has ended 77% of his bouts due to his Exceptional Boxing and Remarkable Muay Thai most on which were on a serious run as he exploded out of the blocks in his career taking down seven straight (T)KO wins. He likes to keep bouts standing and has a very good clinch game which he can use to damage opponents or cleverly sap their energy – Lindros is a very effective fighter and is certainly a major talent in NFC’s Light-Heavyweight Championship, he can use tonight to springboard himself into major contention but he faces a big task come Saturday night in Jake Orange, who arguably boasts superior striking to Lindros. “Agent” Orange is a Sensational striker; he has won 8 of 13 career wins via this method and is on a two straight win streak right now including ‘that’ flying knee KO over David Silva at NFC 91. I think this promises to be a tough matchup for “88” because Orange seems to have just the right tools to neutralise his opponents strengths, I think this one could well go the distance in a victory for Orange but if Lindros bursts out of the blocks like he did at the start of his career and just throw caution to the wind – he certainly can get the job done. It’s really about how Lindros approaches this one, I think if he comes out aggressive certainly he has a chance – whilst that will leave him open it will make Orange adapt and if he can’t do he can get caught. If Lindros comes out and tries to go blow for blow with Orange he’ll most likely get decisioned. $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$ is backing Jake Orange to get it done here, making him a rather large favourite. Lindros will be happy playing the underdog here, in my estimation he’s got nothing to lose against a man who hasn’t won three straight in a long time - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

265: Hemmo "Lost one" Kalske (13-3-0) v Mikko Kytta (12-8-0)

Hemmo "Lost one" Kalske has now lost two in a row for the first time in his career, and both via (T)KO strikes in Round 1, NFC 100 could really make, or break this man as serious doubts now must be seeping into the mind of a man who previously was one of the most feared Heavyweights worldwide. This man was once top five pound for pound, so he can do it; this seems to be a mental problem and what better way to get back on track than with the world watching. Boasting a supreme all round game, with Exceptional Muay Thai and Wrestling to the fore – He is a serious danger standing, with 10 of 13 career wins coming by way of Stoppage he can and will hurt anyone stupid enough to not respect his power, but recently questions have been asked of his chin, and tactics as he seems to be getting tagged more and more. This will be something he certainly will not want to be repeated on the biggest of all stages. "Lost one" will be hurting inside coming to the cage on Saturday, which is not good news for his opponent Mikko Kytta. Kytta, hailing from Tornio, Finland has a history of putting on a show, unfortunately for him that is not always a good thing for him as he has been finished quite a lot, with 6 of his 8 career losses coming by way of (T)KO that will certainly be music to Kalske’s ears. However he does himself provide a serious threat and aggression to go with it – He’s won 83% of his bouts via his striking, with Remarkable Boxing and Wonderful Muay Thai he’ll be more than able to trouble Kalske as I expect this to be another bout that remains standing. The key to this bout is over the matter of the huge reach advantage that Hemmo "Lost one" Kalske will have, and if he can take advantage of this fact perhaps he can keep his opponent on the outside and keep him out of trouble in return, for Mikko Kytta to get inside he’s probably going to have to take some shots – Will he be able to take them? Due to this face, Kalske comes into this bout a massive favourite, but don’t write off Kytta, he’s got nothing to lose and unlike his opponent, comes into this bout on the back of a win, all the pressure is on Kalske, can he take it? - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

205: Peter Smith (14-5-0) v Torsten "Steelglove" Stalhandske (10-1-0)

The opening bout of NFC 100 is a five rounded affair between the Light-Heavyweight Champions of two different organisations, this bout would normally be towards the top of any other card but Saturday Night is NFC 100, and opening up what is sure to be one of the cards of MMA history is Peter Smith, the Light-Heavyweight Champion of Vicious Fighting Championships, London. Who faces off against the 205 Champion of Sauna Fights, Amsterdam - Torsten "Steelglove" Stalhandske. Let’s prepare ourselves for a stand-up war to kick off the action, Peter Smith is one of the best Boxers in MMA with his Elite rank, combine that with Exceptional Muay Thai and take into consideration this man has 10 of his 14 career wins via (T)KO or KO stoppage and you get the idea of what this man, hailing from Oulu, Finland is all about. Furthermore, Smith has never been stopped – all his defeats have been via Decision and this is sure to be a very uncomfortable statistic for however he faces because whilst he can be defeated, he just stalks his opponents in the cage and is relentless in the pressure he brings. Across the cage Saturday Night he will face Torsten "Steelglove" Stalhandske, who will relish the opportunity afforded to him as he looks to be the first to put away Smith. With Remarkable Boxing and Sensational Muay Thai, "Steelglove" also from Finland has a long history of sickening early finishes, and these are from a combination of punches, kicks and single shots. Torsten "Steelglove" Stalhandske looks to be the most explosive opponent that Smith has ever faced, and with his only ever loss coming by way of Submission, which most likely will not be a factor in this bout, I think we are going to see a hell of a contest to kick start the evening and ensure the capacity crowd are pumped from the off. Tactically this one is very hard to call, there are really no big advantages, both are physically very similar however as fore mentioned, Stalhandske looks to have the more explosive power and that might be the reason $$ Big Bucks Bookie $$ have installed him as a very slim favourite. Although Peter Smith is the more experienced here it might be the right call by the bookies – I think I favour Stalhandske myself, although Smith has been around a long time, he’ll not be one bit worried about coming in an underdog here. Neither of these men will want to go back to their respective organisations a loser, expect everything to be left in the cage here. What a fight to start NFC 100, take a bet on it - http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=4282

NFC 101 Sankari vs Ohlrich

265+: Main Event: "KO-Artist" Nyrkki Sankari (12-3-0) v Jon "the Beast" Ohlrich (19-6-0)

Back in action, headlining NFC 101 is the 10th ranked Super Heavyweight in the World, Nyrkki Sankari. Whenever NFC puts "KO-Artist" on a card you know it’s going to be a sell-out, he’s certainly one of the most popular, if not most popular fighter in NFC due to this all out aggressive style. All his career wins have come via (T)KO, with the majority in Round 1 as this Wonderful Boxer and Superb Muay Thai striker comes to hurt you. He has fought for the NFC Super Heavyweight title twice, however came up short – and he’ll look to get himself back into contention to try and get another shot at Iiro Tolonen with a win here. "KO-Artist" Nyrkki Sankari will hold a significant reach advantage in this bout and that may well be the key to this fight because this is not a man you want to be able to hit you and avoid being hit himself – considering his famed granite chin into the equation too it isn’t a good spot for his opponent Jon "the Beast" Ohlrich to find himself in. With five straight wins on the trot, and making his NFC debut here headlining on NFC 101 “the beast” will want to show people his Exceptional Boxing and Superb Muay Thai can translate into NFC as he looks to explode onto the scene here with, what would be a massive debut win. Take into account that Jon Ohlrich has won his last five straight, all via strikes and his opponent Saturday Night and we are primed for an absolute war – This won’t last too long, I can guarantee that and there won’t be an empty seat in the arena for this one – the winner of this bout might well provide an opponent for the Super Heavyweight Champion and everything is on the line here as these two monsters collide. The difference in this bout is that Jon "the Beast" Ohlrich is well capable of taking this bout to the mat, will he look to use this to counter the significant reach advantage of Sankari? The approach that “the beast” takes might well dictate the outcome, I don’t know if he’ll look to trade with Sankari, I believe he’ll look to close the distance and clinch up, and then take this one to the mat – just how effective he is at this will ultimately decide if he suffers his first loss in five Saturday Night.

185: Co Main Event: Ted Dibiase (12-3-0) v Mike The Meth Addict (15-7-0)

With three straight wins, Mike The Meth Addict is looking to get himself into the title contention at Middleweight and to get himself there, he’lll have to go through Ted Dibiase here at NFC 101. This should be a very competitive affair and with both men’s strong points being their stand up game, this could well be another ‘blink and you miss it’ bout. Mike The Meth Addict has 11 of 15 career wins via (T)KO, boasting Sensational Boxing and Strong Muay he certainly can end a bout – and he comes into this bout as the man on form here. Ted Dibiase will come armed with Exceptional Boxing and Strong Muay Thai – he also has every career win via (T)KO so you get idea that these guys might well come to brawl. But coming off a nasty (T)KO loss, you wonder how that will affect Ted Dibiase in this bout and will that perhaps curb his natural aggressive style? I don’t think there is any doubt that Mike The Meth Addict will look to come out and test the fight in Ted Dibiase here, however he may well leave himself open to be countered and this is something that he will need to be wary about. I don’t think that either man is going to want to change up, or pull a surprise here and this fight really comes down to tactics – Who will be able to implement their game more effectively here? On current form it is hard to look past Mike The Meth Addict, but Ted Dibiase is without a win in NFC after losing on his debut – He will absolutely leave nothing in the tank as he looks to get back on track at NFC 101 I believe, and clearly he has the power to end a fight – Who can get it done? This is going to be a very closely fought encounter.

265+: "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons (10-0-0) v Fong "The Last Son of Canton" Sai Yuk (11-4-0)

He says the hype is real, and here at NFC 101 he gets the chance to further is blossoming career as undefeated Super Heavyweight warrior "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons, an Elite Boxer and Wrestler comes to make another statement. With his career wins split evenly between (T)KO and Decision, he is well able to switch between game plans and that is what makes this man a very real threat for anyone in NFC. This 24 year old is one of the most talented performers in all of the world, let alone NFC but he faces another big step up in competition as he takes on Fong "The Last Son of Canton" Sai Yuk Saturday Night. From New Orleans, Louisiana, Richard Simmons comes from one of the most respected management cliques in the world – and this man looks very much like the real deal and he is actually a natural Heavyweight so I expect him to be the quicker of the two here in the cage on Saturday Night. Fong "The Last Son of Canton" Sai Yuk will be the bigger man of the two here by far when these men come to the cage Saturday with a formidable weight advantage and slight height advantage. Boasting Remarkable Boxing and Respectable Muay Thai, 10 of 11 career wins via (T)KO Sai Yuk is one of the most exciting combatants in all of NFC. He is never in a dull fight, only one of his career bouts to date has went the distance, win or lose he certainly puts on a show and NFC fans are very appreciative to have a man like this in the ranks. I wonder just how his weight advantage, and perceived power advantage then will manifest itself during the course of this bout – It will be interesting to see how Simmons reacts should he get tagged by the clearly powerful Sai Yuk – Although, with the skill set that Simmons’s possesses it is hard to look past him in this bout – He has so many ways to win this bout and knowing that management team of his – he will most likely come to the cage armed with a game plan well able to neutralise the dangerous striking of “The Last Son of Canton”? Fong Sai Yuk loves a brawl, but that however is just as much a disadvantage as it is an advantage and I think the key to this fight for "The Southside Shaman" – If he can keep his composure and avoid getting himself into a brawl with Sai Yuk his natural talents should see if through – however all the fans want this one to be settled on the feet – I’m sure "The Last Son of Canton" will be more than confident if that is the case.

205: Quinton "Sledge" Lind (10-3-0) v Marko Torturo (11-3-0)

Quinton "Sledge" Lind with his Sensational Boxing and Remarkable Muay Thai has taken down eight of ten career wins via (T)KO and will look to continue that record as he takes on Marko Torturo here at Light-Heavyweight here at NFC 101. Having dropped 3 of his last 4 “Sledge” has reached something of a career crossroads recently and he’ll look to get himself back on form here as in his most recent outing he was disappointing in a loss to another 205 contender in Eric Lindros. Quinton "Sledge" Lind is known for his speed, so look for him to use that as he looks to negotiate a reach disadvantage albeit a small one as he looks to keep this bout standing against Marko Torturo where he’ll be confident he can get the job done with his excellent stand up game. Marko Torturo however is a Sensational striker, interestingly however he doesn’t display the explosiveness of Lind, much preferring to keep bouts standing and use his talents to outclass his opponents over the decision. But Marko Torturo has never been finished and this will give him the confidence to keep coming forward and putting the pressure on his opponent during the course of this bout. The key to this bout is Quinton "Sledge" Lind’s ability to do what hasn’t been done before – hurt Torturo and put him in trouble, If he can’t do that he could well be out worked like so many of Torturo’s opponents that have come before him, unless he can find a way through with his speed advantage that he’ll be hopefully will be able to translate into results during the course of this bout.

185: Joey Silvera (7-1-0) v Ran "Tan" Plan III (10-5-1)

265+: Rick "One Minute Man" Thompson (10-7-0) v "Relentless" Jenkem Fields (9-2-0)

265: "The Legend Killer" Chuck Gracie (19-13-0) v Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (12-9-0)

265: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (11-2-0) v Fiodor Stavrov (13-5-0)

170: Quizz Al Fazz (14-4-0) v Fransico "Muri" Junior (10-5-0)

265: James "Kakelberg" Dille (12-7-0) v Hessu "Tupla-Hoo" Hopo (8-3-0)

Post event - NFC 101 Sankari vs Ohlrich

265+: Main Event: Jon Ohlrich v Nyrkki Sankari

This fight started off with Nyrkki Sankari scoring with a big left hand that cut open Jon Ohlrich, however Sankari would pay for this as Ohlrich almost immediately shot in for a takedown and spent the rest of the Round pounding on Sankari and attempting a few solid submissions. At the start of Round 2 Ohlrich repaid the favour, by drawing blood from Sankari and displaying his effective striking, Ohlrich was only interested in countering which made it very hard for Sankari, he had to try and bring the fight because he was the better striker, but then of course that made him susceptible to takedowns – Which was evident as yet again Ohlrich took the fight to the mat, and this is how Round 2 ended, with Sankari again fighting off submission attempts. With Sankari needing a stoppage to win this fight coming into the last Round, he came out aggressive and with Ohlrich countering this left him open – We had expected Sankari to get the better of the stand-up but what transpired shocked the entire crowd and me – Not only did Ohlrich dominate the striking in the final round, but he delivered a superb spinning back-fist finish of Nyrkki Sankari deep in the final round. Sankari barely connected with Jon Ohlrich who won a massive victory here improving to 20-6-0 with it, Jon "the Beast" Ohlrich now will face off against Super Heavyweight Champion Iiro "The Man" Tolonen and that promises to be a hell of a bout. Ohlrich came into this bout with a great game plan and if he is poised to face off against the dominant Champion – He is going to need another, but this was superb grappling here from “the Beast” who neutralised the dangerous striking of his opponent to a mere whimper during the three rounds here.

185: Co Main Event: Mike The Meth Addict v Ted Dibiase

Unfortunately NFC 101 was an extremely unlucky event for the company, culminating with the ultra-last minute withdrawal of Ted Dibiase due to inury. There is nothing that can be done in this instance and we just hope to see this bout down the path. For now Mike The Meth Addict takes the win, but this isn’t the way he wanted this one to go down.

265+: Richard Simmons v Fong Sai Yuk

Fong "The Last Son of Canton" Sai Yuk spent this whole fight trying to turn this one into a grappling contest, ‘Fight Imperial’ the after fight statistics revealed to us afterwards that he only attempted one punch during the course of this entire three round contest. He attempted to completely neutralise Richard Simmons and to be fair, had done quite a good job with that in Round 2 as he got an early takedown – But even on the mat Sai Yuk was only interested in controlling. After probably stinking the whole place out, Fong Sai Yuk was faced with a furious Richard Simmons as these men came out for the final round – He couldn’t get another takedown and was repeatedly cut open and to add insult to injury, literally to Sai Yuk – the doctor called an end to this bout with just two seconds left in the final round here. "The Last Son of Canton" won himself few fans with his tactics here, but Richard Simmons knew his susceptibility to cuts was Sai Yuk’s weakness and yet again "The Last Son of Canton" is defeated by (T)KO on the doctors’ orders. "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons improves his perfect career record thus far to 11-0-0 and now is poised to face off against "Little Baby" Ej Balingit next.

205: Marko Torturo v Quinton Lind

Marko Torturo got the clinch in the opening seconds of this bout, he finally let go of the clinch after the bell to finish the round and completely destroyed Quinton Lind leaving him a bloody mess with a good variety of clinch attacks beit fist, elbow or knee. Marko Torturo completely dictated the pace of the fight in Round 1 and Lind must have been wobbly going to the corner, but this fight didn’t have too much longer to run. Lind obviously was a bit apprehensive about getting caught in the clinch at the start of Round 2 and looked to keep the distance, often swinging wildly as a deterrent to Torturo as Round 2 started rather slowly. However inevitably Torturo got the clinch and from here the fight finished as he landed a few more strikes upon the cut of Lind and forced the doctor to stop this fight due to (T)KO Cut after 2:56 of Round 2.

185: Joey Silvera gained a two round to one, 29:28 Decision win over Ran Plan III in their Middleweight bout.

265+: Rick Thompson was left opponent less after another very late pull out, as Jenkem Fields suffered a last minute injury. As a result this Super Heavyweight bout was declared a No Contest.

265: Roddy Bowes scored a 0:24 Round 1 KO Punch victory over Chuck Gracie in this Heavyweight encounter.

265: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe just couldn’t hold on, and with just one second left in Round 1 he was forced to submit via Guillotine to Fiodor Stavrov.

170: Fransico Junior was relentless with his takedowns and that was the basis for his 29:28 victory here over Quizz Al Fazz as he took down the Unanimous Decision win.

265: James Dille was no match for Hessu Hopo in this Heavyweight clash as the latter picked up the (T)KO Strikes finish after 2:57 of Round 3 in the opener of NFC 101.

NFC 103 Flashlighter vs Cartman

170: Main Event: Felix Flashlighter (21-8-1) v "The Rad Russian" Eric Cartman (15-3-1)

Rewind back to NFC 88 and I put my neck on the line, I came right out and said that Eric Cartman won the Welterweight title right after the bout – The judges decided that Cartman didn’t quite do enough to beat the Champion and declared Flashlighter v Cartman I a draw. No matter what your opinion on that fight was however – I think we can all agree that it was the toughest defence that Felix Flashlighter has had to date and Saturday night he has to do it again as "The Rad Russian" is poised for another shot at the incomparable Champion in the Main Event of NFC 103. The story of that NFC 88 bout was the effective takedowns of Eric Cartman and that most likely will be the key to this bout again, will he be able to be as successful second time around – And, should he get the fight to the mat as often in this rematch, will he let it hang out and be more aggressive than he was first time out – something which surely would have seen him take the title first time around? The Challenger is an Exceptional Wrestler with Wonderful striking – And to be honest the effectiveness of his striking is to a large degree why he is so successful with his takedowns because he sets them up convincingly. Eric Cartman has not tasted defeat in seven, the only blemish being the draw at NFC 88 and Cartman is certain to give Flashlighter another stern examination. The number nine ranked Welterweight however has a big decision on his hands – will he try and replicate the gameplan of NFC 88 or will we see a new model in action? Despite my opinion on the matter, "The Rad Russian" missed with as many takedowns as he landed which looking back on the fight now when the dust had settled is huge. Will he take that risk again; will that perhaps take some of the belief from him? It is interesting to note that Cartman has never been finished, he also holds a near equal split of his wins via (T)KO and Decision, he is clearly capable of finishing fights when he gets the openings – and obviously he can go the distance as the Champion knows. This is a fight I’ve been looking forward to for ages, and so has the Champion – undefeated in nine, similarly the only blemish was the first draw between these men. With eight of his last eight victories all via Decision, Felix Flashlighter has looked every inch the dominant Champion and on Saturday this Sensational Boxer and Exceptional Wrestler will have his chance to assert his dominance on the only man to trouble him in recent memory as he gets his wish to rematch "The Rad Russian". Felix Flashlighter is the number three ranked Welterweight in the World, and what will he have learned from the first bout? Most likely that Cartman is a danger both standing, and especially exploding into the takedown so knowing that I don’t expect the Champion to get ‘caught’ like he was in the first bout. But what Flashlighter does have is one of the best management units in the game, with 14 of 21 career wins via Decision – this man has made one sided title defences his niche but I think he’ll really be looking for something more definitive here. This promises to be another war, love him or hate him, the Champion is deserving of his title, he might not be everyone’s cup of tea due to his somewhat conservative style but with win after win, there is no denying he’s dominant at Welterweight in NFC. "The Rad Russian" Eric Cartman gets his rematch, he gets his second shot at glory – He’ll have the support of the crowd, and if he lands an early takedown wait until you hear that crowd erupt. I think we could be looking at something similar to the first bout, I doubt neither fighter will deviate much from original plans and this one might well just get left to evolve in the cage because both men will be more than comfortable with the other. This promises to be a huge NFC event, miss this one at your peril as we have two men colliding here undefeated in sixteen fights between them in what is a blockbuster Welterweight clash between two of the top ten Worldwide Welterweights.

265: Co Main Event: Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone (19-7-0) v Heikki "100 Pikku-G:tä" Kuula (14-6-0)

Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone is arguably the man on form in NFC – Currently riding on the crest of a four win streak – all of which via highlight reel (T)KO, he’s only been out of Round 1 one time since NFC 77, which was his last loss. With Elite Boxing and Exceptional Muay Thai it is no secret that his striking is his best asset and here at NFC 103 will he be able to put on another show for the fans here? Boasting 68% of his career wins via some form of KO including two sickening Head Kick finishes recently, Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone is knocking on the door – he cannot be far away from that title shot he craves and will NFC 103 be the platform that he uses to take the final step? Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone however is weakest in his grappling game – Which promises to be tested as he takes on Wonderful Wrestler and legitimate Black Belt BJJ grappler Heikki "100 Pikku-G:tä" Kuula. With 50% of his career wins via Submission, there is no doubt that Kuula will be able to get the job done – But will he be able to get the fight to the mat here? Despite only having one bout in NFC, Heikki Kuula will be slightly aggrieved that Tallikone is the one coming into this Co Main Event with all the hype because he has won five straight himself, including three via (T)KO as he displays a real aggression recently. The Co Main Event of the Evening will be a superb Heavyweight contest – and both these men have been looking pretty much invincible recently, who is going to lose that air of invincibility here? This bout is pretty straightforward, if Kuula can’t counter into those takedowns of his – he’ll get finished, this fight promises to be extremely cautious to begin, with so much to lose it is only natural I suppose. This promises to be a great bout though – Will 100 Pikku-G:tä be able to navigate his away around the bombs of "Orhi" Tallikone? A lot in this bout depends on the tactics of the striker – But since everything that Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone touches these days becomes unconscious – the stage is set.

170: Led Zeppelin (11-2-0) v Maddy Rock (18-7-0)

Led Zeppelin really needs no introduction; however I’ll do it anyway as he makes his debut here at NFC 103. Coming over from Synchronicity, arguably the biggest Organisation over in Las Vegas – This man holds some of the most elite striking in all of MMA and was a former Welterweight Champion in his time there too. However, on his last outing he did suffer a loss, losing his belt in the process as he now comes to NFC in search of a fresh chapter in his career. Known for his accurate striking and eye catching Flexibility Led Zeppelin can come from anywhere to land a strike, be it via his hands or his feet – both of which are equally as deadly and with 63% of his career wins thus far via a form of KO – The proof really is in the pudding here. Having only lost twice thus far, both times via Decision Led Zeppelin is as tough as they come – however he’ll have to display his resilience that once got him to being the number two ranked Welterweight worldwide Saturday night again as he attempts to get back on track at Saturday night’s event. Maddy Rock has the opportunity to welcome Led Zeppelin to the Organisation, and this Sensational Boxer will look to assert his own striking game on what is, on paper certainly – a much better rated fighter in this respect. Maddy Rock doesn’t have the explosive power of his opponent, but what he does have is 12 of 18 wins via Decision which means he is more than comfortable out striking opponents over the course of three rounds and to me suggests that he will have something up his sleeve tactically for this bout. With this bout destined to remain standing for the duration, it will come down to who can get their shots off first in this bout – With a slight reach advantage – Led Zeppelin will be favoured to get the better of his opponent, he comes into this bout paradoxically less hyped than his opponent but big things are expected from Led Zeppelin – Will he be able to deliver in NFC? With the Welterweight title on the line later tonight, you have to believe the winner of this bout won’t be far away when the next challenger is being prepared for whomever will be the 170 Champion, who will be able to rise to the occasion here.

170: Bill Dance (18-3-0) v Shawn Kronburger (14-3-0)

Bill Dance comes into Saturday’s Welterweight bout against Shawn Kronburger in a very strange position for him, as he has now lost two in a row – For the first time in his career Dance must have really spent a lot of time reassessing his place in the Welterweight division in NFC over the last few weeks as he attempts to kick start his career here at NFC 103. Bill Dance is an Exceptional Wrestler with Brown grade BJJ in what is a very effective grappling game, and it was evident in his bout with Welterweight Champion Felix Flashlighter as he was able to take down the dominant Champion in all bar once round as they went the distance back at NFC 94. Dance’s main strength is his ability to take bouts to the ground, and with 9 of his 18 career wins via (T)KO he can finish once he has that dominant position. Across the cage Saturday night is Shawn Kronburger a Sensational Boxer and Remarkable Muay Thai striker, who will want to really avoid those takedowns of Dance. Kronburger possesses Exceptional Wrestling of his own – but we know that he uses it purely for defensive reasons as he looks to keep all fights standing striking at will and indeed taking bouts into the clinch where he is very aggressive and effective. It’s a fairly straightforward bout, Kronburger has his best chance of winning keeping the bout standing – However with reports of a split from his management team proving accurate, it would seem that Kronburger has seen a tough task to begin with, become indefinitely harder. Bill Dance will fancy compounding the misery on Kronburger in this one and I think he should be able to take advantage of Kronburger’s need to be the more aggressive whilst striking and take this one to the mat at will and take home a Decision win – Something which Dance has done to get 50% of his career wins to date.

265: Neik Hammerlik (15-7-0) v Milo "Of" Kroton (11-4-1)

170: "The Shrink" Will Power (9-2-1) v Jeeves "The Driver" Smith (20-8-2)

205: "!Roid Rage!" Muskeli Mies (9-5-0) v Sky Scrape (15-7-0)

265: "The Apocalypse" Kristof Nikitin (6-1-0) v Tony Tauno (6-2-0)

205: Al "Put It" Inyourbutt (10-7-0) v Marko Lecic (9-5-0)

265+: Artturi "Aiv" Virtanen (12-9-0) v Aalio "Scarface" Paalio (12-10-0)

Post event - NFC 102 Landerson vs Kalske

265: Main Event: Ludvig Landersson v Hemmo Kalske

Hemmo "Butcher" Kalske was strangely off-key in the Main Event of NFC 102, for a man renowned for his striking and his ability to finish opponents he barely was able to land anything during the course of the Main Event. It went the distance, but it wasn’t the titanic battle anticipated as both men were both clearly worried about the power the other possessed. Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson was very happy to keep the distance himself as he jabbed his way to a victory here scoring with quite a few shots to the head and body during the course of the bout. For Kalske, he has now lost three in four – For Landersson, the victor go the spoils as he now can look forward to another Main Event bout against Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone in an event yet to be announced by NFC. It wasn’t a classic, but it is a results based business and Ludvig Landersson gets the job done here at the expense of the strangely lacklustre Hemmo Kalske.

155: Co Main Event: Santeri Norzu v Mark Spencer

Mark "Man of science" Spencer suffered his first career loss here in the Co Main Event of NFC 102, as suspected it came because he was unable to take this bout to the mat and only scored with 2 of 14 attempts during the course of this bout as it went the distance. Spencer also failed to land any meaningful shots in the stand-up as he found Santeri Norzu a step up in class too soon which we thought might well manifest itself as this fight transpired. Santeri Norzu hardly set world alight himself with his own display, however his counter striking style did enough to get him through this bout on a 27:29 score line with all three judges agreeing. Mark Spencer will live to regret opting to control in Round 1 as he scored with a takedown almost immediately, instead of landing some damage which might well have made following takedowns easier – unfortunately for him it wasn’t to be as Santeri Norzu eased to win and improved to 17-5-0.

205: Cain Slyker v Aslan Bagrian

Aslan Bagrian came out to this fight with Justin Bieber, ‘Baby’ playing – That probably only encouraged Cain Slyker who immediately took this fight to the mat from the off, Bagrian went for some submissions – probably to ward off what was coming but once he knew he was getting nowhere and after 1:39 of Round 1 and numerous punches and elbows from top position this fight was finished due to (T)KO via Strikes. Cain Slyker looked supremely confident in this one and improves to 18-4-0 with this win, just what Bagrian was at coming to the cage to Justin Bieber remains to be seen –however one suspects that might just be a one off.

265: Paha SIka v Shane Grebovski

Shane Grebovski had very little joy in this Heavyweight bout, he came out pretty aggressive throwing a few shots and leg kicks towards Paha SIka but found his opponent very elusive, but he did manage to clinch up and this was really the beginning of the end for Grebovski as Slka put on an awesome display of clinch offence here. "Wagner" Paha SIka was effective with some dirty boxing from the clinch, however his elbows were menacing, drawing blood from his opponent, before rocking him majorly with another and it came as no surprise as he finished this one with yet another big elbow to have this fight finished after 3:55 of Round 1 due to (T)KO. It was a huge stoppage and one that really had the crowd on their feet – just what Grebovski was thinking clinching up with a Sensational Muay Thai fighter is unknown, however we do know that Slka improves to 16-6-0 and is due to face off against Grigori Lebedev next.

170: Gomer Pyle and Magnus Ahriman went the distance in this Welterweight bout with the former taking down a 29:28 Decision win, due to his ability to take this fight to the mat from the clinch.

155: Ricky Jericho and Rolf Thorkildsen had themselves a grappling contest here, with Jericho getting the better of the ground game to take down a 28:29, 28:29 and 27:30 win courtesy of the judges.

185: Jake Kilmster wasted little time in finishing this one, taking it right to the mat with a takedown and getting the Arm Bar submission win after 3:04 of Round 1.

170: Taking down a 30:27 Decision win, Tiao Macale always had the better of Aarre Voutilainen indeed nearly finishing him in Round 2 but went on to secure a relatively easy win here at NFC 102.

155: A rather one sided Lightweight affair here saw Dmitry Nagiev defeat Vesku Torni due to a devastating display of leg kicks throwing a tremendous amount during the course of the three rounds. All judges scored this bout 30:27 to Dmitry Nagiev.

265: Lou Cifer Jr was always trying to take this Heavyweight bout to the mat, he done so right away in Round 2 and after 2:26, he did enough to have the referee declare him the winner over Antti Haapasalo via (T)KO due to Strikes from the mount in an entertaining opening to NFC 102.

Post event - NFC 103 Flashlighter vs Cartman

170: Main Event: Felix Flashlighter v Eric Cartman

The Main Event of the Evening was the rematch between Felix Flashlighter and dangerous Challenger, Eric Cartman. These two went the distance in their first fight with Cartman depending on who you asked, somewhat controversially denied a win in that one. Fast forward to NFC 103 and the only controversy was, how did this one get declared a majority draw as the incomparable Felix Flashligher perhaps righted some wrongs from their first bout here with a dominant win in my estimation. It wasn’t so much that the Champion inflicted a great deal of punishment during the course of the five rounds in this Championship bout, it was just how impressively he took away from the game plan of Eric Cartman denying him very little time on top position during the course of the bout due to Flashlighter stopping 15 of the 17 takedowns that Cartman attempted as the fight progressed. There was really in truth neglible difference in the stand-up yet again between these two, which surprised me with the fight remaining standing for the majority of the bout and this most likely cost the Champion the rounds that he was deemed to have dropped because Cartman did score with takedowns in Rounds three and four and you have to think that bought him those rounds. The real difference to this fight was the fact that Flashlighter dictated this one, as opposed to the first bout when you could say that Cartman took the bull by the horns. Cartman will rue not being more aggressive when he did secure the takedowns, but the amount he missed certainly took its toll on "The Rad Russian" as he stumbled to only his fourth career defeat. That was Cartman’s first defeat in eight bouts – this man will be back, put your money on that but he doesn’t need to be told where he went wrong in this one – expect a much improved Cartman to come back and try to get another Welterweight shot. As for Flashlighter, he moves to 5th on the P4P list and 2nd Worldwide at Welterweight with this win. Flashlighter is undefeated in ten bouts, and this man is rumoured to be facing Led Zeppelin next, let’s see if NFC gets that one on – What a bout that would be. To beat Flashlighter though is going to take a mammoth effort, this man has just racked up his ninth straight decision win – he’s looking unbeatable at present, perhaps Elite striker Zeppelin is the man to dethrone him?

265: Co Main Event: Syltty Tallikone v Heikki Kuula

The Co Main Event of the Evening ran on something of a very similar theme to the Main Event – With Heikki Kuula trying in vain to take the bout to the mat and being majorly unsuccessful in this endeavour only scoring with 1 of 8 attempts during the course of the 15 minutes these men shared in the cage. Syltty Tallikone knew he was the better striker, his Elite Boxing and Exceptional Muay Thai was evident here as he adapted a rather conservative striking game plan – albeit to ward off against the takedowns he knew he would have to dodge in order to keep successful as he looked for accurate scoring to keep the judges and fans happy. Syltty Tallikone had been expected to produce fireworks here on the back of his four straight KO finishes of some description, but there was no point in doing something like that, only to suffer a loss on the end of this streak as he calmly took this one the distance securing a clear 30:25 Decision win as scored by all judges. He did the right thing here in seeing this one out – and he is now poised to face off against NFC 102 Main Event winner, Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson in a bout that will surely elevate one of the two to a title shot. With this win Syltty Tallikone improves to 20-7-0, and the 25 year old Finn continues his recent good form extending his record to five straight wins now with the win here at NFC 103.

170: Led Zeppelin v Maddy Rock

Led Zeppelin was making his debut in NFC with his bout against Maddy Rock here and fans were excited about seeing this man in Finland following his high profile from the US. He didn’t exactly put on a show as himself and Maddy Rock went the distance here, despite remaining on the feet for the entire three rounds this one was less than a classic unfortunately but he did squeeze out a 29:28 Unanimous Decision win to get started in good form. There wasn’t a great deal really to report here, these two obviously had a great deal of respect for each other and that was evident with the lack of action as both were adapting countering game plans. Maddy Rock actually was the more active of the two, throwing quite a few shots to the head and as it transpired it was paradoxically this fact that cost him the fight as Zeppelin was accurate with what he did let go. It wouldn’t have been a surprise in my eyes had the judges put this one down as a draw – Zeppelin didn’t assert any sort of dominance over Maddy Rock, and I would imagine the latter is quite disappointed with the scoring but it is what it is, and the Judges gave this bout to the debutant with all three judges scoring this one 29:28 in his favour. Led Zeppelin will really have to pull out all the stops now though as NFC decides to promote him up a level giving him a title shot in only his second bout in NFC as he is heavily rumoured to be facing off against Felix Flashlighter next. A subdued performance like here at NFC 103 will be nowhere near good enough though as he takes on one of the best in the World at any weight if this bout with Flashlighter is in fact a done deal. But one thing I will say, Zeppelin has heralded Elite strikring, Flashlighter likes to stand – It would be a war if that one went down surely?

170: Bill Dance v Shawn Kronburger

Making it four straight decisions at the top of the NFC 103 card was Bill Dance and Shawn Kronburger here, Dance took this one with relative ease, he was able to takedown the helpless Kronburger, almost at will scoring with 5 of 7 attempted and spending the majority of each round in top position controlling the helpless Kronburger who was in turn then forced to really try and force the issue when he did get the fight standing once again – leaving himself further open. It was just a bad night at the office for Kronburger who found himself overawed by an Exceptional Wrestler in Bill Dance. On top of that, Dance displayed effective stand up during the course of the three rounds landing a few shots but it was his Wrestling that got the job done here. Dance is impressive with victory here, taking down the 30:27 Decision win and moving to 19-3-0 with the win. Dance is now a free agent, but this is a man who could really provide an excellent challenge in the Welterweight divison, NFC will be really looking to get this man back and I hope to see him here again too.

265: Milo Kroton gained an impressive (T)KO finish of Neik Hammerlik deep into the final round of their Heavyweight bout, the win coming at 3:02 after a series of shots that stumbled the latter, rocking him badly before Kroton despatched him.

170: Will Power gained a clear 30:27 win over Jeeves Smith here at Welterweight, the fight was won and lost in the clinch as both men fought for superiority in this area, but it was to be Power’s night as he took this one down with relative ease.

205: Sky Scrape had to settle with a Majority Draw in this Light-Heavyweight bout with Muskeli Mies, one judge felt he won this bout but the other two declared it a draw leaving Sky Scrape somewhat disappointed at the announcement.

265: Tony Tauno and Kristof Nikitin went the distance in their Heavyweight bout in a rather dour affair, Nikitin was only interested in going to the mat and wasn’t too bad at implementing this game plan, controlling from the top but he was shocked when the judges declared Tony Tauno the victor – It looked like a bad call and Tauno pretty much stumbled over the line here in unimpressive fashion.

205: Al Inyourbutt took this bout deep in Round 3 as he got the win via submitting Marko Lecic, Lecic was the one took this bout to the mat easily at the start of each round. Lecic bossed this fight, but paid the price for losing concentration and succumbing to the Hail Mary submission attempts of Al Inyourbutt.

265+: Artturi Virtanen and Aalio Paalio went the three rounds here at Super Heavyweight, this was one of the most curious fights I’ve ever seen though, yet was rather entertaining. Paalio tried for 22 takedowns in three rounds, scoring with 11 of these. Yet Paalio was stunned, perhaps rightly so, when Artturi Virtanen was declared the winner despite landing 13 times during the course of the whole bout. It certainly was a strange bout to watch, Virtanen held his hands up at the end, and I thought he’d no chance but the Judges set themselves up for scrutiny all night with the scoring in this one, giving him the 29:28 win.

NFC 104 Kullero vs Siloposki 4 Preview

185: Main Event: "Hillitön paahtaja" Pasi Kullero (18-0-0) v Sampsa Siloposki (20-7-0)

The Main Event of NFC 104 features the Number One ranked Middleweight in the World Pasi Kullero as he once again puts, not only his NFC Middleweight Championship on the line but perfect career record of eighteen straight wins on the line. Across the cage, facing what some describe as the impossible is Sampsa Siloposki – Not only does he face the impossible in a physical sense, but perhaps this battle will be a more mental one for the Challenger Siloposki as he has faced Kullero before on three occasion, losing all three clearly via unanimous decision and you’ll not find many willing to risk their hard earned cash placing money on him to upset the world here in this bout. What can we say about Kullero that hasn’t been said? He’s been a mainstay on any P4P top five list for as long as I have the pleasure of writing for NFC, has rarely looked in trouble at any stage of his career and with a formidable skill set he has also won his last two via (T)KO showing a side to his game that we know he has, indeed Kullero has 10 of 18 career wins via (T)KO and with his Sensational Boxing and Remarkable Muay Thai he has all the tools to further improve that record when he deems it appropriate to strike. At only 23 years of age, the Champion still has plenty of room for improvement and that doesn’t bode well for the opposition. The big question in this bout is what can Sampsa Siloposki do different, what can he do to try and get to the Champion – As fore mentioned he’s lost to his opponent three times now, and this surely must have crossed his mind coming into this bout. Sampsa Siloposki is no fool, he’s had more career wins than Kullero, he is vastly experienced and his Sensational Boxing and Exceptional Muay Thai means, on paper, he is a better striker than the Champion – With 14 of 20 career wins via (T)KO to date. On the back of two straight finishes of his opponents Sampsa Siloposki comes into this bout in good form – But considering Kullero has won eighteen straight he is looking good for another win here in this one. It will take a massive effort for Siloposki to shock the entire MMA World, he is not fancied whatsoever, and you can’t blame anyone for that considering the history these two have had – However, will Kullero be up for yet another battle with a man he’s defeated with ease three times, and, Siloposki will know him better than absolutely anyone – Might that count for something?

205: Co Main Event: "The Khmer" Lon Sihanouk (11-2-0) v Esko Morko (19-4-0)

The Co Main Event of NFC 104 is an interesting affair between two men making their debuts in the Organisation, as "The Khmer" Lon Sihanouk and Esko Morko go head to head here. A Superb Boxer and Exceptional Muay Thai striker, Esko Morko had a highly explosive start to his career, racking up a number of Knock Out finishes, be it Technical or otherwise however recently he’s made a habit of racking up Decision wins, indeed with 5 of his last 7 this is quite a new boe to his string as he becomes very adept at dominating his opponents. Morko is the Light-Heavyweight Champion of Pit Fighting League based out of Toyko, and he’ll certainly look to pick up a big high profile win here as he faces off against "The Khmer" Lon Sihanouk – Who is coming into this bout on the back of four straight wins, including a sickening highlight reel Head Kick KO finish to take the Ironman Fighting League, a St. Petersburg Organisation to take down their Light-Heavyweight crown. These two men are Champions and they are coming into NFC to try and get a hold of the gold in one of the most prestigious organisations Worldwide. "The Khmer" Lon Sihanouk boasts Wonderful Boxing and Sensational Muay Thai, he’s picked up 9 of 11 career wins via (T)KO and he certainly looks to be the more explosive and dangerous of the two. However he is facing off against a man with a vast experience advantage, will Esko Morko be able to create a game plan to neutralise the obviously dangerous Lon Sihanouk? Esko Morko comes into this bout, decorated as the Number One Light-Heavyweight in Toyko, he comes into this bout arguably the better hyped so you have to believe he’s the favourite here, but, the level of striking that The Khmer" Lon Sihanouk holds, this bout is going to be intriguing to watch, especially since Morko has never really displayed a great affection for the ground game. Ladies and Gentlemen this bout could well be the ‘Fight of the Night’, both these men are really going to be all out for the win, with this fight set to remain standing I anticipate fireworks – Let’s see if these warriors deliver as they look to forge a reputation in Helsinki here.

170: "master of the universe" He Man (13-4-0) v "The Barracuda" Dirk Zeldenthuis (12-1-0)

NFC 104 will be "master of the universe" He Man’s first outing since losing to Felix Flashlighter at NFC 100 for the Welterweight title. That loss however does mean that He Man has now lost two of four and this Exceptional striker will look to rectify any doubts about his abilities here on Saturday night. Interestingly, for such a high level striker, He Man doesn’t really boast high level of finishes on his record, with only 3 of 13 career wins coming via (T)KO. But with 10 of those 13 career wins via Decision, he clearly knows his way around the cage and this is one dangerous Welterweight when the mood takes him. He prefers to keep fights to the outside looking to use his high level striking to outpoint opponents and if you cannot figure out a way to counteract this, you clearly will be defeated via Decision by this man. “I am a barracuda, the ground is the ocean and most people can't even swim.” That is the opening sound byte from NFC debutant Dirk Zeldenthuis, this dangerous BJJ Black belt has now won seven straight bouts and Zeldenthuis comes to NFC a Champion, having left Crashforce as their Welterweight Champion to test himself in Helsinki’s premiere organisation. There is no doubt that “The Barracuda” is going to want to take this bout to the mat, he’s absolutely no trouble in doing this and with 7 of 12 career wins coming via Decision it is clear he just dominates from top position using his Sensational BJJ and Exceptional Wrestling. He Man has the perfect game plan for this type of fighter, he is non-comitial, he’ll stay on the outside but will he be able to ruin Dirk Zeldenthuis’s debut here at NFC 104? You have to believe that the latter will want to get himself into position to take a shot at Felix Flashlighter, and to do that “The Barracuda” will have to beat one of the mainstays of NFC’s Welterweight division. This promises to be a great bout, will Dirk Zeldenthuis be able to translate his form in another organisation to a higher level? "master of the universe" He Man will have a reach advantage in this bout, it might not be pretty to watch, but look for him to keep this bout on the outside and jab his way to a Decision win – Can "The Barracuda" prove as fearsome as his words? There is no doubt that the NFC Welterweight division will be keeping an eye on this one.

265: Mikko Kytta (12-9-0) v "The Divine Weapon" Nino Blaze (10-3-0)

With three losses out of his last four, including a loss last time out at NFC 100, Mikko Kytta desperately needs a win by hook or crook in this Heavyweight bout. With Remarkable Boxing and Wonderful Muay Thai and a record of 10 of 12 career wins via some form of stoppage – He clearly is capable, it just hasn’t happened for him recently and he’ll really be going all out to put that right here Saturday Night. "The Divine Weapon" Nino Blaze might well have provided the spark needed to revive Kytta’s career as he’s come right out and stated “Mikko Kytta, I retire you on the 23rd” and you have to believe that we are going to get an aggressive and angry Mikko Kytta Saturday Night. This fight comes down to how Nino Blaze approaches it, he’s the better grappler and he might well look to tie this bout up in the clinch, or take it to the mat to emphasise his dominance however, with his words pre fight – You’d really expect him to try and keep this fight standing and back up his words. Perhaps this is a ploy to get Kytta angry, and leave him open to counters, but Blaze boasts Exceptional Boxing and Wonderful Muay That – He clearly is better on his own feet sticking to his usual style and has a record of 10 of 12 career wins via Stoppage to back that up. Physically there is nothing between these men, Blaze is a bit heavier, but there is no advantage to either in the reach and this one could well descend into a good old fashioned brawl. A victory for Nino Blaze however is no certainty, he’s lost two in a row himself and both these fighters will be very confident of victory as they look to get that win they really need. This one comes down to who wants it more – A loss for either man could well spell the end – But a win will breathe fresh belief and life into two wavering careers, this is going to be one of the most competitive bouts of the Night in my estimation and I am looking forward to it.

155: Esko "Vaara" Salo (14-7-0) v Pedro "Pappi" Pedofiili (20-7-0)

205: Simo Kuassimo (8-2-0) v Goran Persson (6-0-0)

170: Frekkas Poop (17-4-1) v Olli "Scourge" Jokinen (20-7-1)

205: Demian Silva (10-5-1) v Mega "FAIL" Fredriksson (11-5-0)

185: Lyoto "Ice Dragon" Liddell (16-8-0) v "The Wolverine" Roibos Fredriksson (14-6-1)

205: Randy "The Phoenix" Tyler (11-5-0) v Richard Head (12-8-0)

Post event - NFC 104 Kullero vs Siloposki 4

185: Main Event: Sampsa Siloposki v Pasi Kullero

Sampsa Siloposki climbed his Everest here, and did what everyone; including myself thought he couldn’t as he shocked the World and defeated Pasi Kullero here at the Main Event of NFC 104. Not only did he defeat him though, he knocked him clean out as Kullero was made to pay for missing a leg kick too many as Siloposki was too clever for him, baiting him into another swing and miss before being countered with a sickening head kick highlight reel KO finish after just 2:37 of Round 1. This was a remarkable finish of the former P4P king, and Sampsa Siloposki with this win becomes the new Middleweight Champion of NFC and an instant superstar worldwide – Including being the new number one Middleweight Worldwide as this veteran finally defeats Kullero on his fourth attempt with a finish for the ages. Kullero probably knows exactly where he went wrong here, but it was to be Siloposki’s night and picking up the defining win of his career, improving to 21-7-0 is the new 3rd ranked P4P fighter in the World. Sampsa Siloposki will be making the first defence of his Championship against Urpo Nyrkki who is on a two fight win streak, they say you’re not a true Champion until you defend your strap – Let’s see if Siloposki can prove to everyone, that this was no fluke. What a way to take the title though, nobody, least of all Kullero saw this fight ending this way.

205: Co Main Event: Esko Morko v Lon Sihanouk

Lon Sihanouk was cut open in the opening seconds of this bout, it proved to be a prelude for what was to come as this bout was over after just 0:58 of Round 1 making a mockery of the pre-fight hype as Esko Morko absolutely steam rolled over his opponent here. Morko picked up the debut win, to move to five straight wins and this Sensational Muay Thai striker is going to be a big player in the Light-Heavyweight dvision, sending out a huge sign of intent here with this destruction of Lon Sihanouk. The winner via (T)KO and improving to 20-4-0, Esko Morko – Remember that name, your going to see a lot more of this man in NFC, that’s certain.

170: Dirk Zeldenthuis v He Man

Before this fight I said the key was He Man’s ability to keep this fight standing would dictate just how successful he was in this big Welterweight matchup. He was taken down in all three rounds, despite keeping Round 1 at striking for nearly the duration and taking that Round, Dirk Zeldenthuis was a tough proposition as he waited patiently for that moment to explode and scored with 100% of takedown attempts during the course of this bout to eventually wear down and suffocate the fight from He Man en route to picking up a Decision win on his debut. It wasn’t pretty to watch in fairness, He Man couldn’t pull the trigger like he is used to because he knew his opponent was just waiting for him to open his base up, when he did he was taken down and that was the story of this fight. Dirk Zeldenthuis picks up a NFC debut win here, improving to an impressive 13-1-0 with it and this was this man’s eight straight win – He’s something of a master of the Decision win and so it proved here as he claimed a big scalp on his debut – But tougher tasks lay ahead for “The Barracuda”. I am keeping an eye out for his next bout, because I think he’s going to be thrown in with the sharks – so to speak. Keep an eye on this man though, extremely impressive stuff from Dirk Zeldenthuis.

265: Mikko Kytta v Nino Blaze

A hugely entertaining Heavyweight battle took place here, with the crowd loving every minute of the action as straight from the off these two went after each other indeed both were successful drawing blood from the other in the opening skirmishes. Both men were looking to counter, but it didn’t result in the boring bout that we usually get as Blaze and Kytta looked to put this one to bed early. It was finished early, after 1:43 of Round 1 to be precise as Mikko Kytta followed up from his good work in Round 1 to finish the job in the second. During the course of Round 2 Blaze became more telegraphed with his attempts to clinch up – It was to cost him as he dived in looking to grapple only to be countered with a fearsome uppercut, then hook combination that sent him crashing to the mat - Mikko Kytta was ready to unload some more bombs but the referee had seen enough and called this one to a halt declaring Kytta the winner via (T)KO Strikes. Blaze perhaps paid the price for adjusting his game plan here; he came out the aggressor in Round 2 and paid the price in devastating fashion. Kytta takes the win, moves to 13-9-0 here but is now a free agent; will we see this man back in NFC? We hope so, only time will tell on that issue.

155: Pedro Pedofiili got the better of Esko Salo here at Lightweight, he was able to dodge and stuff a great deal of his opponent’s takedowns and this was the platform for the win as he picked up a 28:29 win.

205: This Light-Heavyweight bout was finished early in Round 1 as Goran Persson exploded into the clinch, and absolutely dominated a helpless Simo Kuassimo, cut him open twice before sealing the win after 2:05 of Round 1 with the final uppercut in a great display of dirty boxing.

170: Olli Jokinen and Frekkas Poop went the distance here at Welterweight, but it was the former who picked up the Decision win due to his ability to stuff takedowns with the judges scoring this one, two rounds to one and 28:29 in favour of Jokinen who moves to 21-7-1 with this win.

205: Mega Fredriksson had too much for Demian Silva at Light-Heavyweight here, clinching up early, before securing a takedown where he made short work of his opponent securing the ground and pound finish after just 3:02 of Round 1 with the referee having to call a stop to this on after a clean shot too many for his liking.

185: Lyoto Liddell can consider himself somewhat lucky here, he knocked down Roibos Fredriksson very early with a big head kick – But spent a great deal of the remainder of the fight on his back as these two Middleweights went the distance. Fredriksson will consider this a harsh loss, because he pretty much controlled it – and he’ll rue not being more aggressive when clearly able to takedown his opponent at all. Lyoto Liddell used his get out of jail card here; quite how the judges scored this one 29:28 in his favour is questionable.

205: The opener to NFC 104 was the Light-Heavyweight bout between Randy Tyler and Richard Head, with Head only interested in taking this bout to the mat, trying an enormous 27 takedowns during the course of three rounds, he wasn’t very successful and with Tyler able to get up every time he was taken down – He scored with quite a lot of head punches to take down a 29:29 Decision win in what was a very entertaining affair.

NFC 105 Stehling vs Kujansuu Preview

265: Main Event: "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling (15-4-0) v Kalle Kujansuu (13-2-0)

In the Main Event of NFC 105, The Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as defending Champion “Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling will face off against challenger Kalle Kujansuu. The Champion, boasting Elite Wrestling and Sensational Boxing has now won eight straight bouts, including five of those via (T)KO stoppage. With 11 of 15 career wins overall coming via (T)KO this is a man who clearly knows how to get the job done and Stehling is ranked number six worldwide at Heavyweight – Something which he’ll look to further here on Saturday Night. Stehling is an Elite Wrestler, and this is something he’s proved over and over again – He’ll always be looking to take fights to the mat and it is hard to stop this man with his Olympic standard Wrestling – It will come in handy too because on Saturday Night he’ll face a man with a tremendous record for stoppages in Kalle Kujansuu. The 28 year old, from Tornio, Finland has won his last four straight and with his Exceptional Boxing and Strong Muay Thai this has led to 10 of 13 career win via (T)KO. This fight is interesting, despite Stehling’s obvious striking talents, it is mainly used for defensive purposes and he’ll always be looking for this bout to go to the mat, Kujansuu will have to keep the fight standing to have any chance, however despite holding some Remarkable Wrestling of his own – It is absolutely nowhere near the level of the Champion and I think that this will be the key to the bout. Physically there is nothing between these men, Kujansuu concedes a little weight but nothing major but it will feel like tons should "Painijyrä" manage to gain that top position and drain the fight from the challenger. This fight will be a tactical battle, Kujansuu cannot come out gung ho, because he’ll be countered to the mat and that’s the last place he wants this one to go. I expect him to come out very hesitant and looking to avoid the initial most explosive bursts from the Champion before this fight gets into a pattern, the key for the Challenger is to stuff the opening few shots – But that’s going to be easier said than done, this one could be over quick should it hit the ground because Kujansuu has never shown any submission prowess at any stage of his career. But this one starts standing, and whilst it remains standing Kalle Kujansuu is very much in contention. It promises to be a hell of a battle though and I am looking forward to this one, Kujansuu is not expected to take down the win – But being the underdog will suit him down to the ground as he looks to create a big shockwave in NFC.

205: Co Main Event: "Caveman" Ming Xin (22-6-1) v Simon Adebisi (15-3-0)

The Light-Heavyweight Champion of NFC Ming Xin will once again defend his strap here at NFC 104, but this is a man that hasn’t won in two bouts, coming off a loss to Jigoro Kane and drawing last time out at NFC 100 with Urho Itaniemi. On Saturday Night furthermore he faces what will be one of the toughest assignments he could get in NFC and it should prove to be a real bout for the purists as highly successful Submission artists Ming Xin and Simon Adebisi are due to collide. These men between the two have 25 Submission wins between them, and with Adebisi winning his last four via this method he is very much the man in form as he looks to claim the NFC Light-Heavyweight strap in what will only be his third outing under the Organisations banner. The Champion is an Exceptional Wrestler and a high level Brown grade BJJ grappler, he’s created a career on the back of dominant Decision wins and Submissions due to his extremely high level grappling, but on Saturday Night he faces a man just as capable on the mat as Adibisi boasts Wonderful Wrestling and Brown grade BJJ also. Whilst this fight will start standing and both men are no slouches on their feet I don’t think neither man is really that efficient in this respect that they feel they can take down the win via striking. This bout seems certain to become a No Gi grappling affair and this is really going to come down to tactics, with both men being that dangerous with their Submission games – I suspect neither will be overly aggressive, but then again, I could be proven wrong as this fight unfolds perhaps one of these men will find out that their opponents ground game just isn’t as good as led to believe. Simon Adebisi comes into this bout as the man on form and perhaps this will lead him to become the betting favourite, however Ming Xin has never been defeated via Submission, and only lost via Decision – Interestingly for being such a high level grappler Adebisi has never won via the distance, but does hold 13 of 15 career wins via Submission. This one is going to be one of those bouts we don’t forget about for a long time – Who will win the battle of the grapplers? Will one look to keep this fight standing and surprise us? This one is going to be a real live grappling chess game, who’s going to take it down? I’d stick my neck on Adebisi – but Ming Xin is the Champion, and he’s just fought two of the biggest names in the world on the trot – Will that stand him in good stead?

265+: "Little Baby" Ej Balingit (18-2-0) v "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons (11-0-0)

"The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons comes into this bout with a perfect career record thus far, undefeated in eleven and this is one seriously blessed individual, he’s pretty much Sensational at everything he does, there seems to be very little holes in his game and to be honest I can’t recall a time he ever really has looked in trouble as he truly does look to be the next big thing at Heavyweight. Interestingly his last bout was at Super-Heavyweight, where he manhandled Fong Sai Yuk before taking down the (T)KO due to the severity of the cuts inflicted on his opponent. Equally as good as going the distance as taking down (T)KO stoppages, Richard Simmons is a real puzzle and it remains to be seen if anyone can shatter the air of invincibility he has right now. "Little Baby" Ej Balingit provides the opposition this time as once again "The Southside Shaman" steps up to fight at Super-Heavyweight. Ej Balingit is no fool – he’s a Sensational Boxer and Wonderful Muay Thai striker, he’s also gained 14 of his 18 career wins via (T)KO with the majority of those in Round 1 – He also is hugely experienced and perhaps he can expose his younger, more hyped opponent here? But he does come into this bout on the back of a loss, having lost at NFC 98 to Masaru Midget, one of his only two losses thus far in his career. "Little Baby" Ej Balingit will perhaps be aggrieved to come into this bout considered the less ‘elite’ of the two – He has won eighteen career bouts, he’s done more than "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons to date and he’s most likely not going to be very happy coming in billed as the man who could potentially end the perfect career record of Richard Simmons. "Little Baby" Ej Balingit will obviously want to keep this fight standing, he’s made a career on the back of finishing men – but "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons is so talented, he can take this fight anywhere and he does seem to be a very tough nut to crack – the fact that he’s so versatile might well make the difference here because he will be very happy standing, or going to the mat with his opponent.

205: Marko Torturo (12-3-0) v Eric "88" Lindros (9-3-0)

This Light-Heavyweight bout will really get the attention of the crowd, as Sensational striker Marko Torturo takes on the feared Eric Lindros with his own Exceptional Boxing and Wonderful Muay Thai. Lindros has 77% of his career wins via (T)KO, Torturo has 7 of 12 career wins via this method. Both these men like to stand and bang and we’re going to have ourselves a war here. These guys are almost identical physically, with not a great deal between them talent wise this one will really come down to who wants it more. Marko Torturo comes into this bout on the back of two straight wins, whereas Lindros lost on his last outing at NFC 100 to Jake Orange. With the greatest respect to these men and their ground games – This one is going to be settled via Striking so who is going to get the job done? But this one might just come down to tactics, because neither of these men has shown a weak chin, indeed Marko Torturo has never been finished and this, combined with the fact that he is the man on form might just see him through this. Although Lindros is a formidable opponent, and if he keeps up his recent career record of a win following a loss, he is due the win here. This one will be a fight for the fans though, we all love a good stand up bout, and this one could descend into a brawl pretty quickly because these are two of the toughest here at Light-Heavyweight in NFC.

185: Mike The Meth Addict (15-7-0) v Joey Silvera (8-1-0)

185: "Kuuma" Kalle Reinikainen (9-2-0) v Fuzzy "Care" Bear (16-6-0)

155: Seppo "Suppo" Taalasmaa (19-8-0) v Valdemar "Mora" Friman (15-8-0)

185: Rudolf "penalty shot" Anderson (4-0-0) v Bumba "TDC Champion" Motumbo (17-4-0)

155: Raimo "Timantti" Tikkari (9-9-0) v Sigurd Fafnisbani (17-6-0)

205: Sepi Kumpulainen (5-4-0) v Mauri Nyrkki (11-9-0)

Post event - NFC 105 Stehling vs Kujansuu

265: Main Event: Mitchell Stehling v Kalle Kujansuu

The Main Event of Evening saw defending Champion Mitchell Stehling display his truly Elite Wrestling, he took this fight to the mat in 3 of the 4 Rounds it lasted as he was relentless in his attempts taking it to the mat, forcing the Challenger Kalle Kujansuu to rethink his entire strategy and indeed limiting him to scoring with his hands on just six occasions as this fight was finished after 2:35 of Round 4 via (T)KO due to referee stoppage after some big Ground and Pound. Stehling knew when he got this fight on the mat he was in charge, he didn’t even attempt to improve his position whilst he was on the mat such was his level of superiority, he was happy to take this fight via Decision until Kalle Kujansuu was taken down into Full Mount right at the start of Round 4, leaving him in serious trouble, the Champion knew this was his moment and applied the pressure leaving the Challenger with no option but to look for a way out, which he got when the referee jumped in to save him after some big shots from the Champion. This was a dominant performance from a man who has now won nine straight bouts at Heavyweight, incredible from Mitchell Stehling who is now ranked as the number thee Heavyweight worldwide and should be forcing his way into the top ten P4P if he keeps up this streak anytime soon. Again it’s incredible to think that this man is just 24 – he remains undefeated in NFC and it’s looking like this man is going to after a super fight to really get himself the props he deserves. Let’s see what NFC has for the dominant Champion next, it should be interesting.

205: Co Main Event: Simon Adebisi v Ming Xin

The Co Main Event of the Night had the Light-Heavyweight Championship on the line as Champion Ming Xin defended against Simon Adebisi. It was the grappling war we expected; right from the gate in Round 1 the Challenger scored the first takedown, Xin quickly reversed the position only for himself then to be swept. Both men were clearly wary of the other’s submission prowess because both were very happy to control the position forcing the referee to stand the action up. This was a recurring theme in the fight, as again in Round 2 the referee was forced to stand this one up after another takedown from Adebisi, however when then taken down by Ming Xin, the challenger always noticeably went for a few submissions to most likely keep on the good side of the judges. It was great stuff for the grappling purists and Adebisi really stepped it up in Round 3, he took down Xin twice – Whilst being stood up on the first occasion, yet again he brought the fight to the mat spending the rest of the round controlling the Champion which looked better than it was in truth, but still got him a huge round to boost his confidence. Into the Championship rounds Xin was more than happy to stand with his opponent, he most likely took the round however he was seriously dented when Adebisi yet again scored with another takedown right at the death leaving us not sure what way the judges would perceive that. Into the final Round and it really looked like Xin was in trouble, Adebisi wasn’t doing any damage, nor even looking like doing damage but his game plan looked to be the more effective. Xin immediately came out in the final round with a big takedown into side control, then right away was probing for submission noticeably stepping up the action – Of course this aggressive style left him open, and credit to Adebisi who then swept Xin and with that looked like taking down the Championship seeing out the end of the Round just leaving Xin no room to manoeuver, dominating his opponent. The fight went the distance as expected, and there was no surprise when the judges awarded the fight to the new Light-Heavyweight Champion Simon Adebisi – His controlling ground game wasn’t great to watch, but you cannot be unimpressed with just how rigidly and effectively he stuck to his game plan. This fight was won and lost though on Adebisi’s more effective game from bottom position, he was able to reverse Ming Xin a number of times and that surely scored him more points with the judges than his work in top position. This was a thoroughly enjoyable tactical grapple than presented us with a new Light-Heavyweight Champion; I didn’t expect Adebisi to be so dominant, especially as he was renowned for his Submission prowess and the fact he had never won a fight via Decision before – But he did so when it mattered most here at NFC 105 claiming the title and improving to 16-3-0 with it. There is no word yet on Adebisi’s first defence, however nobody is going to want to roll on the mat with this man after his display here, and it’s going to be difficult to outfox this man on this evidence.

265+: Richard Simmons v Ej Balingit

Another bout that wasn’t great for the fans here either unfortunately Richard Simmons was always looking to take this bout to the mat, he wasn’t that great at that but he did enough to take down the win here, and after missing with three big shots in the first round, he must be commended for not gassing himself out with that. He scored with 3 of 8 attempts during the course of the bout, 2 of those in Round 2 and the last in Round 3, he spent the greater part of Rounds 2 and 3 controlling Ej Balingit in a game plan which was effective obviously with him taking down the win, but it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing for the NFC 105 fans. Ej Balingit was effective with his stand up when he got the chance to showcase it, however he was always fighting with that fear of being taken down and didn’t let his hands go like he can. Richard Simmons improves his perfect career record to 12-0-0 but this was by far, his least impressive outing yet certainly in NFC. He’ll look to put on a better show next time out, but a win is a win and it gets this Super-Heavyweight closer to where he wants to be.

205: Marko Torturo v Eric Lindros

In a battle between two extremely dangerous strikers, we thought that this clash would light up NFC 105, unfortunately with both men looking to counter, and neither being particularly impressive we got a bout that will not live long in memory as this was certainly one to forget. Marko Torturo picked up the win, two rounds to one to improve to 13-3-0 and he’ll be glad to get out of this one with a win. To be perfectly honest, there wasn’t a great deal between these men, nor a great deal of action for a bout that went the distance with perhaps Lindros missing a leg kick too many, on top of pushing the jab to the head unsuccessfully that probably cost him the fight. If both these two were to go at it again, I think we would see what they truthfully are all about but neither man did themselves justice here and I think they will both know that. Lindros can consider himself unlucky, he pushed the action more – and was promptly punished for it by the judges – Surely they must be more pragmatic in their judging otherwise we’ll have more of these low risk, low action clashes?

185: Joey Silvera defeated Mike The Meth Addict 29:28 as they went the distance in their Middleweight bout.

185: Kalle Reinikainen’s superior clinch work was the difference here as he defeated Fuzzy Bear in another Middleweight clash at NFC 105 that went the distance, taking down this one 29:27.

155: Seppo Taalasmaa took this Lightweight bout to the mat when he wanted and outclassed his opponent en route to a (T)KO stoppage after 4:03 of Round 2. Valdemar Friman had no answer to the relentless grappling of his opponent.

185: Rudolf Anderson scored the highlight of the night knocking out Bumba Motumbo after just 1:25 of their Middleweight bout via Head Kick finish.

155: Sigurd Fafnisbani was simply in a different class to Raimo Tikkari here at Lightweight, with awesome work in the clinch he toyed with his opponent as this fight went the distance, such was his domination he will most likely be upset there was to be no finish but the judges scored this one 30:26 in his favour to justify his dominance.

205: Sepi Kumpulainen fell into the trap, he came out amped and overly aggressive and was counter punched to a KO finish by the mightily impressive Mauri Nyrkki barely after a minute of their Light-Heavyweight clash to kick off NFC 105 in style.

Post event - NFC 106 Tolonen vs Ohlrich

265+: Main Event: Iiro Tolonen v Jon Ohlrich

Iiro "The Man" Tolonen was defending his Super-Heavyweight title for the fifth time here at NFC 106’s Main Event, across the cage in this one was Jon "the Beast" Ohlrich and this promised to be a war here. And it didn’t disappoint as the Challenger took Tolonen by surprise early on, taking this fight to the mat scoring with some big shots as he really put on the pressure spending the best part of Round 1 laying down a beating on the Champion, who previously hadn’t broke a sweat in some of his bouts. It was a superb start and the backlash began right from the off in Round 2 as Iiro Tolonen burst out of the blocks to gain the Clinch position, from here he managed to cut open Jon Ohlrich on two occasions as he was simply unloading on the Challenger, but just as he looked at his most vulnerable from the start of the bout, Ohlrich managed to take this fight to the mat again – even managing to get in a solid looking submission attempt before the referee signalled the end of Round 2, but it was undoubted that the Champion had struck back. Taking the Champion by surprise, mirroring what happened to Ohlrich at the start of Round 2 “the Beast” took this fight into the clinch – but it was the Champion who was sneaking through the better shots again at the start of Round 3 landing another one of those piercing uppercuts that drew blood from the Challenger again. Tolonen now had the advantage, Ohlrich was having trouble with the blood in his eyes and the Champion broke from the clinch scoring with another big looking jab right on that cut once more. “the Beast” was clearly in trouble now as he longed to get back into the Clinch, perhaps to gain breath, perhaps to stall the momentum the Champion was gaining but this fight didn’t have too much longer to go as somewhat controversially stopped as the Doctor was called into look at the Challengers face. It was somewhat of an anti-climax, but you got the feeling that the tide had turned against Jon Ohlrich – The damage was done in Round 2 as Iiro "The Man" Tolonen messed up his opponent with some serious shots in the clinch but I would have liked to see this fight progress. Jon "the Beast" Ohlrich suffered his first defeat in seven bouts here, but the Champion extends his defences of the NFC Super-Heavyweight title to five straight with this win. Next up for Tolonen is an absolutely huge fight, against Ricardo "El Diablo" Rojas. That fight will have the number two Super-Heavyweight facing off against the number four in a massive super fight in a yet to be announced NFC event, and that one is looking like a record breaker.

265+: Co Main Event: Alexander Lukashenko v Nyrkki Sankari

"Bat'ka" Alexander Lukashenko put in the best performance of his career here in the Co Main Event of NFC 106, immediately getting himself into the Clinch, he brutalised Nyrkki Sankari cutting him open on a number of occasions with his punishing dirty boxing and elbows before rocking Sankari and then proceeding to smell blood literally and going right after the head of the shocked and helpless Nyrkki Sankari condemning him to the mat before the referee jumped in to stop this one sided beating after just 1:34 of Round 1. There is absolutely nothing you can say here bad about Nyrkki Sankari, "Bat'ka" Alexander Lukashenko simply looked unstoppable here as he went through his opponent like a hot knife through butter in what was undoubtedly the performance of the night here at NFC 106. What a way to get over your defeat for the Super-Heavyweight title, and moving to 10-2-0 is "Bat'ka" Alexander Lukashenko who might well get himself a shot at the Super-Heavyweight Champion Iiro Tolonen sooner than he expected after this. Sensational display from the Belorussian.

265+: Masaru Midget v Fong Sai Yuk

Fong Sai Yuk’s biggest weakness was again exposed, he was cut open twice early on in this fight leaving him, once again searching in vain trying to get this fight to the mat to protect his face. He managed to get two takedowns during the course of the bout as it went the distance, however sadly for "The Last Son of Canton" he also failed with a massive thirteen attempts. In fairness to Fong Sai Yuk this wasn’t entirely his fault as Masaru Midget had employed a very conservative counter striking style, meaning there wasn’t a great deal of action in this one – And due to the fact that Sai Yuk was unable to dictate where this fight went, meant that the judges were always going to punish his inability to score with the takedown. Masaru Midget took down a 29:28 Decision win, but for a man boasting Sensational Boxing and Wonderful Muay Thai – Perhaps he short-changed himself here? Masaru "The" Midget has now won two straight in NFC and he’s displaying some good form despite not exploding with his striking, something which seems to be ‘in vogue’ right now. As for Fong Sai Yuk, he’s now lost three straight and that isn’t what this man is capable of, Fong "The Last Son of Canton" Sai Yuk is currently searching for new management, should he manage to get someone who motivates him – this is still an extremely talented Super-Heavyweight.

205: Les Grossman v Quinton Lind

Les Grossman was always looking to get this fight to the floor, and he didn’t mind taking some damage in doing so as he was relentless in trying to take this fight to the mat, scoring with just 2 of 8 attempts usually spells disaster for a grappler – However Grossman has some nasty ground and pound as he took this fight via (T)KO Cut due to the bloody mess that Quinton Lind’s face was left in. Lind managed to take the first round as he frustrated Grossman, however exploding out of the blocks in Round 2 Grossman got the takedown into Full Mount, where his aggression was evident as he went to work literally beating Lind into a bloody mess. It was a hell of a win for Grossman, and he’s a tough guy but he’ll really want to work on taking less damage when he’s exploding for takedowns because he’s got the potential to be tagged. If he sorts that out though, we’ve got a real contender at Light-Heavyweight because this Sensational Wrestler just lets the hands go disregarding any ground game of his opponent. Improving to 12-6-1 was "Bei Dem Knee" here.

185: Ran Plan III gained a Decision win over Gunnar Ingi Jr here at Middleweight, Inji Jr found Ran Plan III very elusive as he barely managed to land on him during the course of the bout – reflected in the judge’s 30:27 scoring at the end.

265: Fiodor Stavrov and Janne Maunonen went the distance in their Heavyweight encounter, with both men looking to take this fight to the mat at every opportunity; the judges were called in to decide the winner. They scored this bout 29:28 in favour of Stavrov, but there was very little between these two should you watch this one again.

265: Sianleuka Jack didn’t win any fans here, but he won the fight – He remained on the outside for the duration of this bout, throwing absolutely nothing but leg kicks – And somehow managed to take a Unanimous 30:27 Decision win. Abreham Killyousovizh looked furious when the scoring was read out after the bout.

205: Thomas Pinta wasted little time in taking down this Light-Heavyweight bout, scoring the KO finish of Re Christensen with just seconds left in the first round. Re Christensen will regret somehow managed to get himself stood up after getting the takedown early on.

155: Jack Ripper gained the (T)KO finish late in Round 1 over Pithe Canthropus, Canthropus was all over the place, he got knocked down twice and rocked badly before being put out of his misery here – He should thank the referee from saving him from more too, because Ripper looked like he wasn’t going to stop.

265: Optimus Prime and Arne Riseman met in the opener of NFC 106, and it was the former taking down a big win scoring a (T)KO win after just 2:21 of Round 1. Riseman was always in trouble after being taken down and Prime really turned up the head when he got this fight to the mat.

NFC 107 Flashlighter vs Zeppelin Preview

170: Main Event: Felix Flashlighter (22-8-1) v Led Zeppelin (12-2-0)

The Main Event of NFC 107 features the incomparable Welterweight Champion of the Organisation, Felix Flashlight once again defending his title, the universally recognised number two Welterweight on the planet has now not tasted defeat in his last ten fights, with his only blemish being a draw back at NFC 88 which he corrected last time out at NFC 103 where he defeated Eric Cartman well in their rematch. With an unbelieveable all round game featuring some Sensational Boxing and truly Exceptional Muay Thai and Wrestling he has dominated the great majority of his opponents simply overwhelming them with the considerable weapons in his arsenal. With 15 of 22 career wins via Decision, the Champion knows his way around the cage and he can simply take on his opponents in their strong suite and not only compete, but defeat them which has led to one of the best win streaks in MMA history, not just NFC. And if you’re thinking of this man going down with a lucky shot, it’s extremely unlikely because Felix Flashlighter has never been stopped via strikes, his only defeats have come via Submission (1) and Decision (7). Put simply, to defeat Felix Flashlighter, you are going to have to not only tactically outdo him, but your also going to have to bring him to a Decision it seems, something which quite a lot have tried to do, only to fail . Born in Helskinki, Finland Flashlighter really is the hometown kid come good and this will be his seventh defence, which is another obstacle in any opponents path knowing your coming into a really partizan crowd and I am not sure if the Champion will admit it, but it certainly must be an advantage to him. The man tasked with taking him down in the Main Event is a relative newcomer to NFC, having just made one outing in the Company to date – But he is no novice, Led Zeppelin was one of the biggest names on the American MMA scene before he came to NFC, making his name in Synchronicity formerly the number one organisation, indeed a former Champion there, Zeppelin has come to the new superpower worldwide in NFC in an attempt to do what some have labelled the impossible and take out Felix Flashlighter. Boasting an Elite Striking game, there is no doubt that the Challenger has the striking to trouble anyone, and with 58% of his wins coming via this method you have to believe that this will be the key to him in this bout. Taking into account that Zeppelin himself has never been finished – this one looks destined to go the distance and this one is going to come down to tactics, you have to believe that the Challenger is going to want to keep this bout standing, and with his Exceptional Wrestling he is more than capable of implementing his gameplan should he choose this path. For the Champion, he is well capable of standing and striking with his opponent, but it won’t be all that clever to trade with a man, considered on paper to be better than him in this respect. We haven’t seen much of Felix Flashlighers grappling recently, will he remind us here? Or will these two top strikers decide to keep this one standing and find out who is the best in this respect, it might be the kind of Challenge that the Champion is after to further his legendary status. The Challenger has a bit of a reach advantage, I don’t see it being a major issue in this bout however because both these men are just that good on their feet they’ll feel they are able to outwork the other. This is a hell of a Challenge for the Champion, he’ll have to take Zeppelin serious – But I fancy him to take this one over the distance and perhaps cement his name at the top of the pile worldwide at Welterweight with it.

265: Co Main Event: Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone (20-7-0) v Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson (15-5-0)

The Co Main Event of the Evening is going to be a bout for the stand-up enthusiasts of NFC, as Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone with 65% of his wins via (T)KO faces off against Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson who boasts 11 of 15 wins via the same method. Considering both these men have an incredible 47 career bouts between them, they only have tasted defeat via (T)KO 5 times so the stage is set for these two powerhouse Heavyweights to go to war here for the three rounds scheduled. Whilst both these men are no slouches on the mat, indeed Landersson holds a Brown belt in BJJ I think this fight is certain to be settled on the feet because both these guys are the competitive type, and I think they’ll relish the opportunity to try and inflict a (T)KO loss on the other, something which would be quite an addition to the CV of either of these men as they search to get themselves in the frame for a title shot. Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson will concede the reach advantage in this bout, and you have to wonder if that will be a factor as this bout has the potential to be a rather cagey affair considering the record of finishes that both these men have. However one suspects that “Biffen” and "Orhi" Tallikone will trust their chins against the other in this one, if that manifests itself in the cage on Saturday evening then we are in for an absolute treat as these guys could just throw down. With both these men being NFC veterans, it seems quite strange that their paths have never crossed but you can be sure that these men have always knew that someday they would meet – I don’t think that either fighter will surprise the other in this Heavyweight clash, but someone trying something spectacular might well settle this one at the same time. Coming into this bout on the back of five straight wins, four of which via brutal (T)KO finish including two Head Kick KO’s Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone could be the man to try something abstract considering he’s in the form of his life, and his confidence surely must be sky high, taking this into account I think he must be the favourite for this bout. But Landersson is not to be dismissed – he is the only man to defeat Grigori Lebedev, not only that but he busted his face badly causing this bout to be finished due to (T)KO Cuts, he is capable of taking this one, make no mistake about it. The only thing that can be predicted safely about this fight is, it’s going to be a war.

155: Otso "Spartacus" Jokinen (12-3-0) v Jussi "Utter Bastard" Murikka (19-5-0)

Well, on another card, in another Organisation – This one would be a Main Event, as two of the best Lightweights in the world collide here at NFC 107 as NFC Champion Otso "Spartacus" Jokinen is less than 24 hours away from facing Jussi "Utter Bastard" Murikka, the Lightweight Champion of Blitzkrieg Russian Combat over five rounds. To predict how this fight will go cannot be done because we are talking about two of the most talented fighters in every respect that there is in the game, their rank on any given martial art form is certainly among the upper echelons – It is a fight however between two men with something to prove, not only to themselves but because they have experienced defeat in recent bouts somewhat taking away from the appeal that this fight would have had perhaps with better timing. Otso "Spartacus" Jokinen will be more familiar to our regular audience, with his Sensational Boxing and Wrestling, and newly attained Black belt in BJJ Jokinen is a powerhouse at Lightweight due to his penchant for finishing fights, with 83% of his wins coming via (T)KO. The smart money would be on Jokinen to continue his recent style, Jokinen will most likely want to take this fight to the mat and literally try and smash a hole in his opponents face – It’s tried and tested and I think his recent BJJ promotion will only fuel his confidence that he can gain success in this bout via this method. Jussi "Utter Bastard" Murikka will hold a slight reach advantage in this bout, he’s a man making his debut in NFC and with 10 of 19 career wins via Decision, he clearly is a man used to dominating opponents, however he also displays Submission prowess and has 5 (T)KO wins on his record. He holds a Sensational Striking game, he certainly holds the advantage in this fight in this respect on paper, but how will that Exceptional Wrestling of his hold up against Jokinen, a superior grappler on paper? But don’t be mistaken and think that this is a striker/grappler contest, it’s simply not that simple because Jussi "Utter Bastard" Murikka is so versatile, he seems to be more flexible in his approach than NFC’s own “Spartacus”, and that will be a key factor in this fight I believe. Whilst Jokinen might go with his tried and tested tactic, what will “Utter Bastard” come to the cage planning to do – Looking over his last bouts, he has no problem taking bouts to the mat and finishing them himself and I think this is going to be a seriously cagey affair as both these men try and figure each other out – It’s a tactical nightmare for both men, but this is why they are facing off, to find out who is best – and as the old adage goes, to be the man you have to beat the man. Interestingly, both these men hail from Finland, Jokinen is the hometown boy from Helsinki, but I don’t think he’ll have the total support of the crowd and that can only be an advantage to his opponent. I think without a doubt this is the most unpredictable of NFC 107s bouts, I am extremely interested to see how Jokinen fares against a man who is as skilled, and dangerously, more experienced than him in the cage. As for the winner, I cannot even hazard a guess, both are coming into this bout off a loss and most recently, a win, there is no real man on form – It could well be time to get the coin out and call ‘heads or tails’, because this is a coin toss in my view.

265: Hemmo "Butcher" Kalske (14-4-0) v Veto "Rotta" Remmi (25-6-1)

Both these men met before, way back at NFC 75, when the then Super-Heavyweight Champion Hemmo Kalske retained his title via Unanimous Decision in fairly one sided fashion against Veto "Rotta" Remmi. Since that fight however both men have dropped to Heavyweight, and this is where this bout takes place as former Heavyweight Champion “Rotta” Remmi looks to erase a blotch on his record here at NFC 107. This is only Hemmo "Butcher" Kalske’s third bout at Heavyweight, with a win and a loss thus far it’s fair to say that he is undergoing somewhat of a transition. But there is no doubt about the facts, with Exceptional Boxing and Sensational Muay Thai and a dangerous 78% of his wins coming via Strikes, Hemmo "Butcher" Kalske is one dangerous man, and he’s beat his opponent before which will only further his confidence in taking this one down. In the first meeting between these two Kalske destroyed Remmi in the clinch, “Rotta” will certainly have been working on that coming into this bout but it was so one sided back then – I suspect the “Butcher” might well follow a similar game plan which leaves Remmi with a bit of a problem. Remmi lost his last two, but he does have a big advantage in this fight because with his Remarkable Wrestling and BJJ Brown grade he is more than capable of shooting in and taking this bout to the mat where he might want to try and sap some energy from Kalske who takes a tremendous cut to make the 265 Heavyweight deadline. Hemmo "Butcher" Kalske himself however isn’t exactly in the form of his life, with 3 losses in his last 4 this former Champion is fighting to keep his head above water. Neither man can afford a loss, indeed a loss is going to be a disaster for one of these men and the stage is set for a real war between two men perhaps fighting for relevancy in the modern Heavyweight division. I anticipate a great battle here though between two old school NFC greats, this one might just come from nowhere and steal the show at NFC 107.

265: "Wagner" Paha Sika (16-6-0) v Grigori Lebedev (11-1-0)

265: Neik Hammerlik (15-8-0) v Hessu "Tupla-Hoo" Hopo (9-3-0)

170: "Warhammer" Terrell Reed (16-6-0) v Fransico "Muri" Junior (11-5-0)

185: "Roar!" Alfa Uros (9-3-0) v Hans Gruber (10-6-0)

185: Kalle Kinkeri (15-9-1) v "Sheriff" Roscoe P Coltrane (4-0-0)

265+: Gigantus Boagrius (4-4-0) v Aalio "Scarface" Paalio (12-11-0)

Post event - NFC 107 Flashlighter vs Zeppelin

170: Main Event: Led Zeppelin v Felix Flashlighter

Coming into this bout the defending Champion Felix Flashlighter had not tasted defeat in what seemed to be an eternity, however Led Zeppelin smashed his air of invincibility in the Main Event of NFC 107 taking down a well-deserved Decision win, with the judges scoring this one 46:48, 46:48 and 46:49 to declare Led Zeppelin the new Welterweight Champion of NFC. Clinch work was the key to the victory here as these two decided to settle this bout on the feet, declining to engage in the ground game. To be honest, it wasn’t a spectacular Main Event, and the difference truly was the dominating clinch work of Led Zeppelin as he was very successful here in landing shots on the now former Champion. Led Zeppelin’s dirty boxing just won him the biggest bout of his career and with this massive win he improves to 13-2-0 and is now considered the number two Middleweight worldwide. We wonder who his first defence will be against, with no confirmation it could be that Flashlighter gets a rematch, and if that was the case – Would he switch up and look to use his ground game? Felix Flashlighter lost his title on his sixth defence; with the bar set Led Zeppelin will look to write some history of his own now he’s the king of Welterweight here in NFC but I get the feeling this is not the last these two men have seen of each other in NFC, there is unfinished business here that will force these two men together again at some point you have to believe.

265: Co Main Event: Syltty Tallikone v Ludvig Landersson

The Co Main Event of the Evening went the distance as Syltty Tallikone and Ludvig Landersson could not be separated in this Heavyweight bout, however we knew that Tallikone always held the advantage which was in the end highlighted by the judges who scored every round for him as he took down a 30:27 win as scored by all three judges. Landersson found his opponent very hard to connect with and that really was the story of this fight as he struggled to close the distance and time Tallikone who did a great deal to upset this with his mixture of kicks and punches to a variety of angles and by the end of the fight Ludvig Landersson was a bloody mess – had this fight another round you feel the doctor might well have got involved because Tallikone mercilessly went after the cut once it was truly open. Improving to 21-7-0 with this win was the Finn from Vantaa, who now moves on a matchup with the Heavyweight Champion of NFC "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling – a man who has not been defeated in nine outings, you have to believe that Syltty Tallikone will raise his game for that one because quite frankly, he didn’t do much here, despite taking down the win to suggest to the fans of NFC that he is a legitimate threat to the Champion. However Stehling will have noticed the deadly accuracy of Tallikone when he did commit to striking, and that is something that will worry him for sure.

155: Otso Jokinen v Jussi Murikka

As the Lightweight Champions of NFC and Blitzkrieg Russian Combat collided here in a Super Fight, we had expected fireworks with the BRC Champion taking a lot of money at the bookies apparently. What we got was an absolute master class in a one sided affair as Otso Jokinen firmly placed himself amongst the top ten Lightweights worldwide taking down a clear 50:45 Decision win as he simply overwhelmed Jussi Murikka who surprisingly looked seriously out of his depth. Jokinen perhaps blemished this one somewhat by missing a serious amount of takedowns, and usually this means that fighters are really punished but Jokinen was also vastly superior on his feet with his counter body punches being especially prevalent as Murikka struggled to land anything meaningful in five rounds which really stunned the crowd because this one was billed as being so close, we couldn’t choose. Otso "Spartacus" Jokinen strolled to a win here really, improving to 13-3-0 with the win here. With no bout scheduled he’ll look to improve further on top of his recent promotion to Black grade BJJ – A scary proposition and this man has his eyes set firmly on being acknowledged as the number one Lightweight in the World – A few more performances like this against supposed equals will help him on his way for sure.

265: Hemmo Kalske v Veto Remmi

This Heavyweight bout promised so much with two of the biggest hitters in the world, let alone NFC going at it – However it didn’t materialise as Hemmo Kalske and Veto Remmi were really too cautious of the others power – Which manifested itself into a rather strange affair, culminating in this bout being declared a draw. Both men were very happy to keep the distance and this one sort of ended up being a kicking affair with both men looking to use those to really keep the other at bay – With both fighters coming out with nearly identical game plans you have to really give their management credit, they came with the right plan – Unfortunately both these guys just really cancelled the other out and the crowd were less than happy as this one petered out into a bore draw, certainly in comparison to the war I had envisaged. With both men really in need of a win, they came out to avoid a loss and in that respect it is objective achieved. However I don’t know where it means both fighters go from here, it is really a case of nothing ventured, nothing gained – I’m sure if these guys were asked to go at it again, we’d see a better show.

265: Paha SIka had more than enough for Grigori Lebedev here, defeating him via (T)KO Cut early in Round 1 taking down this Heavyweight bout and moving to 17-6-0.

265: Hessu Hopo found himself outclassed by Neik Hammerlik here in this bout, being defeated deep into Round 2 via (T)KO due to Cuts sustained.

170: This Welterweight bout went the distance but it was Terrell Reed who got the decision over Fransico Junior with all three judges scoring this bout 29:28 in the former’s favour.

185: It didn’t take long for Alfa Uros to take care of business here, scoring the KO win after just 49 seconds of this Middleweight bout, Hans Gruber literally did not know what hit him here.

185: Roscoe P Coltrane and Kalle Kinkeri went the distance in their Middleweight bout, Coltrane was able to dictate the pace of the bout with his takedowns landing with ease, and he came away with a 30:27 Decision win as scored by all three judges.

265+: Aalio Paalio devastated Gigantus Boagrius here, with the latter looking to continually clinch up – Paalio ended up destroying his opponent from this position before the referee stood in and saved Boagrius, with Paalio taking down the (T)KO win after just 2:46 of Round 1.

NFC 108 Siloposki vs Nyrkki Preview

185: Main Event: Sampsa Siloposki (21-7-0) v Urpo Nyrkki (18-6-1)

The Main Event of NFC 108 features the New Middleweight Champion of NFC Sampsa Siloposki fresh off a devastating KO Head Kick finish of the former undisputed P4P fighter of the world, in Pasi Kullero defending his gold for the first time. Sampsa Siloposki is now recognised as the number one Middleweight in the world and he’ll look to make sure that he is not a flash in the pan, or a one hit wonder as he takes to the cage for the first time since his massive win at NFC 104. With Sensational Boxing and Exceptional Muay Thai his striking is his best asset – and with 71% of his career wins coming via Stoppages due to his striking, this is not a man you want to stand and brawl with. On the back on three straight wins, all via stoppage including a spinning back fist KO which started this superb run Sampsa Siloposki has looked nothing short of unbeatable recently culminating in him being the first man to take what was the biggest scalp in MMA as he rendered Kullero unconscious in his last outing. Siloposki is famed for his granite chin, and serious counter striking ability – He’ll certainly want to stand and scrap with anyone who gets into the cage with him and with his Exceptional Wrestling, which he uses mostly for defensive purposes leaves him well able to dictate the pace and outcome of his fights and with him only being stopped once in his career, he certainly has the ability to bring a fight to an opponent and to beat the new Champion – You’re going to have to take him the distance more than likely since he’s only been defeated by four men in his career thus far despite having seven losses on his record. However on his first defence he has a great challenge and opportunity to ‘right a wrong’ so to speak – As he faces off against Urpo Nyrkki, the only man to finish our new Middleweight Champion and current P4P number four. They met back when both these men were still trying to fulfil their potential in ‘Helskinki Extreme’ a now defunct Company, Nyrkki walked over Siloposki in little over a minute peppering him with shots as the now Champion didn’t even land a strike during the course of the bout. Of course both men are unrecognisable from back then, and I don’t think that fight will have any bearing on this one since it was so long ago – However I do feel that Urpo Nyrkki will take great heart and confidence as this Exceptional Boxer and Wonderful Muay Thai striker looks to make history repeat itself as he looks to improve on his record of 10 wins from 18 via some form of stoppage. Both these men are going to welcome the stand-up war and the fans can look forward to a really technical affair here because I don’t think that either man is going to be naïve enough to leave his chin hanging out considering the record that both these men have regarding finishes. Although this fight could end in a second, what I think is most likely is both these men are going to look for the angles and work the jabs relying on taking this bout via outclassing their opponent rather than dominating en route to a finish, however the fans will be hoping that the opposite happens – Perhaps the Champion will come out and look to reverse their first meeting, so much depends on how he handles the pressure here to be honest – he’s never been in this position before, and the spotlight is on him now like never before. Will he be able to handle this? There is little between these men physically to define how this fight goes down, this one comes down to desire and determination – They say you’re not a true Champion until you defend your belt – On Saturday Night Sampsa Siloposki has the chance to cement his position as the best Middleweight in the world – For the Challenger, he can instantly usurp his opponent with a win.

185: Co Main Event: "Hillitön paahtaja" Pasi Kullero (18-1-0) v Joey Silvera (9-1-0)

Joey Silvera has the dubious honour of being one half of the NFC 108 Co Main Event on Saturday Night as this Sensational Boxer and Exceptional Muay Thai striker has the unenviable task of welcoming back former NFC Middleweight Champion and P4P number one Pasi Kullero, fresh off losing his title and first career loss at NFC 104. Undefeated in five straight bouts Silvera has a great all round game, with Wonderful Wrestling and Purple grade BJJ to supplement his obviously dangerous striking , and with his crazy flexibility, he has the kicks to reach anywhere on Kullero and that makes him a very real threat here in this bout as he looks to compound the misery on Kullero. Joey Silvera is still a relative newcomer to the game, and with this fight coming so soon in his career he has absolutely nothing to lose, nobody expects him to do anything and this makes him a very dangerous proposition for a former Champion desperate to get back on track as quick as possible. "Hillitön paahtaja" Pasi Kullero was little over three weeks ago the number one, not just in NFC, but the world. He stood with eighteen straight wins and I pondered could he be defeated. One swing of Sampsa Siloposki’s left leg quickly changed all that as he took down a massive upset win which shocked the entire MMA world, and the big issue in this fight is this: Is Kullero over it? Not only his first defeat, but first knockout of his career? They say it can do strange things to a fighter when he is first rendered unconscious, and certainly Kullero must be apprehensive getting back into the cage just three weeks after that sickening defeat. In this fight he is vastly the superior fighter, he probably isn’t considered the better striker on paper of the two men here, but with 55% of his career wins via Stoppage he knows how to use his hands – But it is his Exceptional Wrestling and Brown grade BJJ that will most likely be his best avenue to victory here – and lest we not forget, just three weeks ago we wondered if this man could be defeated, so much in this fight is about Pasi Kullero and his mind frame – If he is in the mood I expect him to run through Joey Silvera, however if he gets tagged a few times early on, will he have the heart for this? This fight could well be the defining moment of Pasi Kullero’s career, if he wins, expect him to be ringside for the Main Event as he looks to get that Middleweight belt that he defended five times back around his waist.

155: Santeri Norzu (17-5-0) v Pedro "Pappi" Pedofiili (21-7-0)

After gaining a win on his NFC debut at NFC 104, Pedro "Pappi" Pedofiili is back in action here hoping to extend his currently win streak to three. The 28 year old from Seinajoki, Finland boasts Sensational Boxing and Remarkable Muay Thai and with a superb 71% of his career wins coming via his striking, he’ll most certainly want to keep this fight standing you feel. "Pappi" will want to gain some consistency in his career, he has a habit of winning a few in a row, then losing a few in a row to undo his good work – and here he is again, on the back on two straight wins, history suggests that Saturday Night he’ll lose because this has basically been the story of his career and if he wants to make a mark at Lightweight this is a must win fight for him – Should he win he can be considered a genuine contender, should he lose, he slips back into Mid Division mediocrity again. With a fresh undefeated start to life in NFC to protect, I think we can expect a fired up and determined "Pappi" as he looks to take out a twice NFC Lightweight title Challenger in Santeri Norzu. Norzu is incredibly talented – his all round game is bordering on perfection yet as fore mentioned, he’s twice challenged for the Lightweight crown only to taste defeat on both occasions unfortunately for him. With 12 of 17 career wins via Stoppage his Striking is also his strongest asset and I think the fans can look forward to another bout where two alpha males look to assert their dominance on the other in what should be a fascinating affair. Both these men are very similar, not only skill wise but physically and there is little to pick over as we search for the winner here; will Pedofiili slip back into his career trait thus far of complacency after good performances? For Santeri Norzu, consistency is the key, and gaining some because he’s been pretty average lately with a win normally following a loss, if that trend continues he’s due a loss here too – History suggests that both men are due a loss here, someone is about to buck a very unwanted trend here at Lightweight.

205: Goran Persson (7-0-0) v Cain Slyker (18-4-0)

Cain Slyker has a tremendous experience advantage here in this Light-Heavyweight encounter at NFC 108, as this Exceptional Boxer and Wonderful Wrestler looks to continue his recent good form in extending his unbeaten record to five here. Slyker has 55% of his career wins via (T)KO and he is extremely effective from standing, as shown at NFC 87 when he finished Thomas Pinta via KO or more recently at NFC 102 when he took down Aslan Bagrian straight from the off before gaining the Ground and Pound (T)KO showing that his Wrestling is not just to supplement his stand up, more dangerously, it is another real avenue for him to exploit as he takes on undefeated Goran Persson. Interestingly both these men are quite the mirror images of each other, but with Persson’s Exceptional Boxing and Wrestling game lauded as being superior to his opponent here, this undefeated kid will want to extend his perfect career record. Look for Goran Persson to try and instigate the clinch in this bout, he’s extremely effective from this position and has indeed showing finishing power from here, with last time out at NFC 104 being the most dominant example thus far however he must know that Saturday night will be his toughest test to date. Both these men are super aggressive, Persson indeed as 85% of his wins via Stoppage and with both these men being really good at finishing, this one promises to be a contender for ‘Fight of the Night’ I believe. These two Light-Heavyweights are incredibly hard to predict, they can both take this fight into any area and this promises to be a real battle of wits behind the scenes as well as in the cage Saturday Night. I am expecting big things from this bout, and all eyes will be on rising star Persson, will he be able to continue his perfect career at the expense of the dangerous veteran?

265: Milo "Of" Kroton (12-4-1) v Heikki "100 Pikku-G:tä" Kuula (14-7-0)

205: Aslan Bagrian (14-9-1) v Gabriel Braga (5-0-0)

170: "Tolkuton mullikka" Palkki Niskavuori (12-4-0) v "The Shrink" Will Power (10-2-1)

155: Ricky Jericho (12-4-1) v Mark "Man of science" Spencer (6-1-0)

185: Djordje "Karadjordje" Petrovic (16-5-0) v Jake "Deadpool" Kilmster (14-8-1)

155: Frank Andersson (6-2-0) v Rolf Thorkildsen (14-10-0)

Post event - NFC 108 Siloposki vs Nyrkki

185: Main Event: Urpo Nyrkki v Sampsa Siloposki

Urpo Nyrkki relieved Sampsa Siloposki of his recently won NFC Middleweight Championship here in only his first defence, it went the distance as both these men were content to stand and strike it out – However neither man can really say he went all out as both of these fighters were fearful of the other fighters counter striking ability which left this fight far from fulfilling pre-fight hype as indeed it turned out to be quite the opposite. With aggression at a premium in this bout, it was the Challenger who landed the more shots and this was the key aspect as Sampsa Siloposki landed with very little of anything during the five rounds in which he had the opportunity to do so. To be quite honest the most interesting aspect of this fight was the scoring of the judges at the end of the bout, two of them scored it 47:48 in favour of the new Champion Urpo Nyrkki, with the other scoring it 46:49 – It spoke volumes that Sampsa Siloposki landed sixteen times during the twenty-five minutes and was still deemed to win a round – That’s how little action there truly was during the course of this quite unremarkable bout. However it did leave us with a new Champion, and Urpo Nyrkki will have the opportunity to do what Siloposki could not do, and defend his title – Unfortunately for Urpo Nyrkki that defence is due against the incomparable Pasi Kullero set for NFC 112, what a bout that promises to be and interestingly, despite being two of the most prominent Middleweights in NFC, they have never before met which will add some spice to that affair with no previous to go on.

185: Co Main Event: Pasi Kullero v Joey Silvera

"Hillitön paahtaja" Pasi Kullero was back to doing what he does best here in the Co Main Event as he steamed through Joey Silvera, who was always going to be up against it. The fight went the distance but Kullero dominated from start to finish taking down a clear 30:27 Decision victory with all judges agreeing on this. Kullero was sharp with his takedowns, and he landed a few during the fight however his display from the clinch was textbook as he completely punished his opponent particularly in Round 2 with some very effective dirty boxing. Silvera wasn’t expected to do much in this bout, too be honest he’s far from the finished article, whereas Kullero had went some eighteen bouts without defeat previously. Pasi Kullero doesn’t have to wait long now though, he is due to face off against Urpo Nyrkki as he attempts to regain his NFC Middleweight crown – But you know he wants to set the score straight against Sampsa Siloposki too at some stage after he inflicted that career first defeat. But, moving onto NFC 112 and a title shot is the now 19-1-0 Pasi Kullero.

155: Santeri Norzu v Pedro Pedofiili

Continuing on the theme of NFC 108 were Santeri Norzu and Pedro Pedofiili here in their Lightweight bout, however whilst most of the other fights in this card went to decision, with action at a premium. We got a hell of a finish here from Santeri Norzu who lit up an otherwise forgettable bout with a sensational flying knee KO finish of Pedofiili. Rocking him clearly with a head kick beforehand, Norzu smelt blood, and got aggressive – He went for another head kick, but pulled out of it – Thinking he was safe, Pedofiili perhaps let his guard down only for Norzu to land what will surely be the finish of a career. It was a super, super finish and with this highlight reel KO he moves on to 18-5-0, next up for Norzu is a big clash against "Boy Named" Sue Jackson – He’ll go into that huge fight with some serious confidence however after undoubtedly lighting up NFC 108 here.

205: Cain Slyker v Goran Persson

This Light-Heavyweight bout went the distance, however there was only ever one fighter in it as Cain Slyker scored takedown after takedown, as he quite literally just beat up a helpless Goran Persson whilst in dominant position. Time after time Slyker took this fight to the mat, impressively Persson managed to reverse the position a number of times however a relentless Slyker was not to be denied here as he took this one down with all three judges awarding him a 30:27 Decision win. Cain Slyker has now won five straight, improving to 19-4-0 in the process however he has now decided to leave NFC which is a shame as he was looking good to progress onto a title shot.

265: Milo Kroton had too much for Heikki Kuula, eventually working his way into position before taking down the Kimura Submission win after 3:32 of Round 2.

205: Gabriel Braga and Aslan Bagrian went the distance in their Light-Heavyweight bout; Braga however had too much as he took this fight to the mat repeatedly and brushed off submission attempt, after attempt from Bagrian landing enough shots to satisfy the judges here.

170: Will Power and Palkki Niskavuori met at Welterweight here in NFC 108, these two decided to stand and bang for the best part of three rounds as they too went the distance before the judges gave this one to Will Power improving him to 11-2-1 in the process.

155: Mark Spencer was always going to want to take this Lightweight bout to the mat against Ricky Jericho, and that is exactly what happened, however it wasn’t quite as easy as he thought as Ricky Jericho pushed him the whole way before he eventually lost a razor thin Decision with the judges scoring this one two rounds to one, in favour of Spencer – However, this was far from conclusive evidence of superiority from Spencer.

185: Djordje Petrovic had no problem in taking down this Middleweight bout, dominating this one so much so that the judges scored this one 30:26 unanimously. Jake Kilmster was unable to take this fight to the mat despite repeated efforts and this was basically the platform for Petrovic’s victory as he picked him off from here.

155: Frank Andersson and Rolf Thorkildsen went the distance in the Lightweight opener to NFC 108 and these two conspired to put on one of the more entertaining fights of the night despite there being a finish here. This was essentially a Boxing match and it was Frank Andersson who took down the win as he outworked Thorkildsen and defeated him by finesse, landing more shots to the head and body of his opponent and this was really the tale of the fight as you felt he held a degree of control.

NFC 109 Tolonen vs Rojas Preview

265+: Main Event: Iiro "The Man" Tolonen (22-7-0) v Ricardo "El Diablo" Rojas (16-1-0)

What a fight in prospect here in our Main Event on Saturday night as NFC 109 is headlined by the massive clash of the number one Super Heavyweight Worldwide, and NFC Super Heavyweight Champion Iiro "The Man" Tolonen as he prepares to for a super fight against the number five ranked Super Heavyweight Ricardo "El Diablo" Rojas who will be making his NFC debut in this bout. Undefeated in his last eleven bouts, "El Diablo" is one of the most feared strikers in MMA, with his Sensational Boxing and Muay Thai game being directly responsible for 75% of his wins, he will want to keep this fight standing where he’ll be confident in finishing absolutely anyone. The extremely quick Rojas is the Super Heavyweight Champion of VENDETTA, he needs very little introduction but we all know that his striking is his strong point and he’s been Champion over in Las Vegas for quite a while, including four of these via nasty (T)KO which only adds to the menace of this man. From Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, Ricardo "El Diablo" Rojas is an extremely tall man, he has no trouble in reaching his opponents and that is one of the biggest reasons for his outstanding success as he can normally keep his opponents at bay with his huge reach – This will be the case in this bout too as Iiro "The Man" Tolonen will concede the advantage in this respect. Another hugely important factor in this bout is that the NFC Champion Iiro "The Man" Tolonen has 85% of his career defeats by stoppage, coming into a fight with a man possessing the power that “El Diablo” has this certainly must be a concern for “The Man”. With Exceptional Wrestling and Brown grade BJJ however, he is more than capable of taking this bout to the mat as shown with his fight with Nyrkki Sankari at NFC 94 should he choose this game plan, but he also boasts Exceptional Boxing and Wonderful Muay Thai that has helped him build a fearsome record of 16 wins from 22 career bouts via Stoppage of some form or another. Certainly the NFC Champion has more ways to win, he can switch his game up at any time and that might be the game clincher, but if he is forced to stand and “El Diablo” is able to dishearten him blocking any attempted takedowns, then he might well be in trouble. I expect Iiro "The Man" Tolonen to try and smother Rojas in this bout, via clinching up at any opportunity, where he know he can finish – As last time out against Jon Ohlrich at NFC 106 and then either try and dictate the pace of the bout from here, or look for the takedown as he’ll really want to look to control the distance between the fighters here for sure – The game plan for Ricardo "El Diablo" Rojas is more straight forward, keep that distance, dictate the pace of the bout with his reach advantage and genuinely frustrate his more illustrious opponent before looking to finish in the latter rounds. However Iiro "The Man" Tolonen is the number one Super Heavyweight in the world, he didn’t get here by being lucky and he’ll have home advantage here, you have to feel that he’s the favourite for this bout, and should he manage to get this fight to the mat – You wonder just what Ricardo "El Diablo" Rojas has in his locker to counteract this likely scenario.

265+: Co Main Event: "KO-Artist" Nyrkki Sankari (12-5-0) v "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons (12-0-0)

Coming into this Co Main Event, NFC Super Heavyweight "KO-Artist" Nyrkki Sankari finds himself in a situation he has never before contemplated as he is staring down the barrel of his third straight loss here, with his last two coming by way of Stoppage due to Strikes "KO-Artist" must have been doing some real soul searching recently as he desperately attempts to get back on track. With all of his career wins, 12 of 12 coming by way of his Striking, this Wonderful Boxer and Superb Muay Thai striker knows how to get the job done, however recently he just hasn’t been pulling the trigger like he used to as he looks to be an overall more cautious fighter, something which hasn’t quite worked out for him as we have already discussed. But Nyrkki Sankari is only 23 years old, he’s still evolving and this is really a dangerous man when he’s in the mood – The problem recently is that he’s not been showing the mean streak that once saw him become the NFC Super Heavyweight Champion. He’s already been to the top of the tree, and across the cage on Saturday night is a man who looks like he’ll be next in line to get that crown, should he win this one as the undefeated Richard Simmons, "The Southside Shaman" looks to extend his perfect career record of 12-0-0 at the expense of the badly out of sorts Sankari. He says the hype is real, and why should we not believe him because Simmons is probably the most talented all round individual in NFC, he can do anything and everything – quite able to go anywhere, that has been the major reason for his success thus far and he’ll look to find a way to get past “KO-Artist” here. Looking over the way Alexander Lukashenko walked right through Sankari at NFC 106, you have to believe that "The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons will perhaps want to see if Sankari has brushed up on his clinch work – And it will be interesting to see if this is an avenue he chooses to pursue. This should be an interesting affair, Sankari must keep the fight standing to have any chance, but you have to believe that "The Southside Shaman" will not allow Sankari to express himself standing, where he is no doubt a major threat – Not to mention the huge reach advantage that he will have must see that Simmons will want to counteract this by taking it to the mat. "The Southside Shaman" is undefeated however, I don’t expect him to slip up here whilst he is on the cusp on a title shot, a win here could well see him get that shot he craves.

205: "Caveman" Ming Xin (22-7-1) v Marko Torturo (13-3-0)

Former NFC Light-Heavyweight Champion, "Caveman" Ming Xin is back in action here for the first time since losing his title, but there is a bigger picture here, this man has not won in his last three fights and that must be a major concern for this Exceptional Wrestler and BJJ Black belt who desperately wants to get back on track here at NFC 109. From St Peter’s Square, Vatican City, this BJJ whizz has taken down 12 of 22 career wins via Submission and he’ll be wanting to take this fight to the mat in the hope of extending that here, and he will look to use all his vast experience to his advantage here in this Light-Heavyweight encounter as he prepares to take on Marko Torturo renowned for his Sensational striking. This fight is pretty open and shut, Xin holds some good striking of his own, but he by no means is going to be able to bang with Torturo and he’ll be looking to counter into the takedown as this bout really comes down to just how good that Exceptional Wrestling of Marko Torturo’s is, if he can keep it standing I expect him to take this fight down and he’s coming into this bout on the back of some good form, taking down his last three straight bouts. Although I believe the fact that Ming Xin has never been finished will be a massive factor in this bout, he’s going to keep coming forward and searching for that takedown as he knows his chin won’t betray him, and Marko Torturo is going to have to come up with a pretty good game plan to try and stop the relentless grappling of Xin. This one most likely will go the distance, but will Torturo jab and kick his way to a victory, or will Ming Xin get this fight to the mat and beat the fight from Torturo. It promises to be an interesting affair between two men who are pretty respected in the Light-Heavyweight division.

170: "The Rad Russian" Eric Cartman (15-4-1) v Maddy Rock (18-8-0)

"The Rad Russian" Eric Cartman is back in action at NFC 109, last time out he was decisively defeated by Felix Flashlighter for the Welterweight title and he’ll be looking to bounce back here in style. With Wonderful striking and Exceptional Wrestling he is a dominating proposition for anyone, he has his victories split between (T)KO and Decision as he is equally able to go for the kill or see out a win controlling the action. Cartman has also never been stopped or finished, his only defeats have come via Decision and to beat this man, you really have to control him – Something only the best have been able to do thus far, and this man is hungry for the title – He wants it and it’s up to him to get back on track here as he takes on Maddy Rock on Saturday night. Maddy Rock will hold the striking advantage in this bout, he boasts a Sensational Boxing and Exceptional Muay Thai game but will he be able to implement it? His Wonderful Wrestling, like all great strikers is purely for defensive purposes and you have to wonder will it hold up against the stern examination that Cartman will put it through. Interestingly, this will be the first time in quite a while that Maddy Rock will be facing off against a grappler predominantly – If his Wrestling game has been neglected in that time to prepare for those guys – It could be ruthlessly exposed here, but if Cartman is frustrated and forced to stand with Maddy Rock, that will be more than half the battle won here for him. It’s a pretty fair assessment that this bout is the striker versus the grappler, I always back the grappler in these instances, and I think for that reason Cartman is going to get it done.

265: Sianleuka Jack (9-3-0) v Roddy "Big Time" Bowes (13-9-0)

185: Lyoto "Ice Dragon" Liddell (17-8-0) v Fuzzy "Care" Bear (16-7-0)

265+: Rick "One Minute Man" Thompson (11-7-0) v Fong "The Last Son of Canton" Sai Yuk (11-6-0)

170: Shawn Kronburger (14-4-0) v "Warrant Officer" Gomer Pyle (7-2-0)

185: Gunnar "Svartur" Ingi Jr (13-6-0) v Rudolf "penalty shot" Anderson (5-0-0)

205: Quinton "Sledge" Lind (10-5-0) v "!Roid Rage!" Muskeli Mies (9-5-1)

Post event - NFC 109 Tolonen vs Rojas

265+: Main Event: Iiro Tolonen v Ricardo Rojas

NFC Super Heavyweight Champion, Iiro "The Man" Tolonen defended his title in Exceptional style here as he completely outclassed Ricardo Rojas in the last fight of the evening. With his Exceptional Wrestling, “The Man” took this fight to the mat at will during the course of the bout and worked his way into a dominant position before landing some big shots, indeed scoring with 10 of 19 attempted as he reduced Rojas’ face to a bloody pulp before this fight was stopped deep in Round 3 due to the Cut sustained on the Challenger. Rojas was rarely able to land on the Champion due to the suffocating game plan that “The Man” came to the cage with, and he had no answer to the intensity that the undisputed number one Super-Heavyweight worldwide brought here. This was the Champion’s fifth straight win, and he improved to 23-7-0 with the win here as he devastated Rojas who many thought could be the man to stop Tolonen. Next up for that mammoth task is "Cool Guy" Garson DeBramalo, himself on a five win streak but he’ll have to work on his Wrestling before that fight for sure because Tolonen was relentless here with his grappling.

265+: Co Main Event: Richard Simmons v Nyrkki Sankari

"The Southside Shaman" Richard Simmons remains undefeated at Super Heavyweight and he now stands at 13-0-0 after taking down a big win over former NFC Super Heavyweight Champion Nyrkki Sankari in the Co Main Event of NFC 109. This was a clear cut win, we knew that Simmon’s was the better rounded fighter and we wondered if Sankari would be able to last if this fight went to the mat – It didn’t take long for us to find the answer as "The Southside Shaman" gave Sankari a bit of a beating in Round 1, before ending it quickly in Round 2 as Sankari was saved from more punishment from the referee who probably should have stopped this one in Round 1 going by how quickly it was finished after the break at the end of the Round. Over after 0:13 of Round 2 was this bout and Richard Simmons looks like now is his time for a shot at the Super Heavyweight crown, this man is a monster and he might well be the favourite over absolutely anyone he faces as he hovers now just outside the top ten Super Heavyweights worldwide.

205: Marko Torturo v Ming Xin

Decisions were at a premium at NFC 109, but the Light-Heavyweight encounter between Marko Torturo and Ming Xin went the distance – And it wasn’t exactly a bout for the ages as Marko Torturo did what he had to do to get the job done. He knew that Xin was going to want to take this bout to the mat, and as a consequence he couldn’t be too aggressive and that’s exactly how this one panned out as Torturo just about got himself over the finish line with the help of Xin, who failed with 7 of 8 takedowns during the course of the bout. Torturo hardly was impressive himself, however his execution of his game plan was flawless as he took down a big win here over Xin and improving to 14-3-0 in the process. He did what he had to do, and this was a big win for him over a former NFC 205 Champion and extending his recent good form to four straight wins.

170: Maddy Rock v Eric Cartman

A bit of controversy here in this Welterweight clash as Maddy Rock and Eric Cartman went the distance in a hell of a close encounter – This fight went the distance and it was judged a Split Decision with Maddy Rock taking down two of the judges’ scorecards, and Cartman getting the nod from the other. Maddy Rock came out in this bout kicking quite a lot, and this is what probably won in the bout as these kicks slowed down the power of Cartman’s takedowns and during the course of the bout he only landed with 2 of 7 attempts which in my estimation was the difference. Maddy Rock was very clever during the course of the bout, he used the clinch to good effect to drain the fight from his opponent and he must be complimented on a big win over Eric Cartman. Maddy Rock improves to 19-8-0 with his win here, Eric Cartman has now lost two straight for the first time in his career as he yet again gets no luck from the judges in another closely fought contest.

265: Sianleuka Jack fired up the crowd here at NFC 109 as it took him just 0:51 to get the (T)KO win over Roddy Bowes forcing the referee to intervene and save his helpless opponent from more pain.

185: Lyoto Liddell got a massive KO Head Kick win over Fuzzy Bear in their Middleweight affair, with both men wanting to strike Liddell was the more damaging rocking his opponent, and inflicting a few cuts en route to a hell of a KO win.

265+: Rick Thompson had no trouble taking out Fong Sai Yuk here in this Super Heavyweight bout, with Fong Sai Yuk’s old problem with cut’s coming back forcing him to lose this one after 2:43 of Round 3 due to (T)KO Cut.

170: Shawn Kronburger and Gomer Pyle went the distance here at Welterweight; however there was only ever one winner as Shawn Kronburger kept this fight standing, despite the numerous attempts of his opponent to take it to the floor with the judges giving him the 29:28 Decision win. Pyle spent the whole last round in top control, and despite knowing he was down two rounds, he opted to control – It was a strange way to end the bout but Kronburger will be happy with the opponent’s lack of aggression for sure.

185: Gunnar Ingi Jr gets the (T)KO finish over Rudolf Anderson in this Middleweight bout, Anderson did well to get to the final round though, as Gunnar Ingi Jr cracked him numerous occasions before this and indeed knocking him to the mat twice before getting the job done in the final round as the finish was always coming you thought.

205: Muskeli Mies got the Round 1 (T)KO win here in this Light-Heavyweight bout over Quinton Lind, with just seconds left in the Round Lind will be upset he couldn’t hold out but Mies was never in any danger of losing this one as he was dominant from the outset.

NFC 110 Stehling vs Tallikone

265: Main Event: "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling (16-4-0) v Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone (21-7-0)

NFC once again dips its toes into the PPV market, and who better than to headline the Main Event of the Evening than the Heavyweight Champion of the company, and number three ranked Heavyweight on the planet "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling – A man who with a win here can once again cement his place as the best Heavyweight on the planet. It seems like every time I sit down to write about this man I say this, but again, he’s now undefeated in nine straight, and since winning the NFC Heavyweight Championship at NFC 95, he’s really thrust himself into the spotlight in a worldwide sense with fans waiting in expectation for a ‘super fight’ against another well-known face who has made an appearance in NFC before also. Before any of that really begins to snowball though, he must make his third title defence as he faces off against Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone, a more experienced fighter and who also comes into this bout on the back of six straight bouts, including four of which won via violent (T)KO. This fight is certainly not going to be a walkover, and should the Champion be looking past the challenge on Saturday night of “Orhi” he could well find himself on the end of what would be, in truth, an upset win. The world knows just how Stehling is going to approach this fight, this man is an Olympic wrestler, and his Elite level grappling is further complimented by effective Brown grade BJJ and with 75% of his career wins coming by stoppage due to his relentless ground and pound, you know Stehling in top position throwing bombs is a quick way to have your night finished early. "Painijyrä” is no slouch standing either, he boasts Exceptional Muay Thai and Sensational Boxing but there is no doubt that what he is going to want to do, is take this fight to the ground and basically beat his opponent until the referee steps in a stops the bout. That’s what the Champion does, and he basically sets out his stall and if you can stop it, good for you, but there has been nobody in recent times that has even looked like stopping the express train that is "Painijyrä" Mitchell Stehling. Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone gets his chance to fight for gold in NFC here on Saturday Night, with his Sensational Boxing and Exceptional Boxing this man will really want to try and keep this fight standing because he’s been responsible for some of the most devastating finishes in NFC history on his recent win streak of six. There is no doubt that Tallikone possesses the striking to really bother the Champion, although there is a big worry about his level of Wrestling – he is nowhere near the level of the Champion and with Stehling no doubt looking to take this fight to the mat there has to be serious concerns about the ability to keep the fight standing, which for sure is his best chance of taking down the win. With 61% of his career wins via Stoppage due to his striking, there is no doubt that "Orhi" can get the job done here – but I just can’t emphasise just how important it is that he keeps this fight standing, with Stehling’s chin questioned because he has been finished the key to this fight is undoubtedly just how long that Elite Wrestling of Stehling’s can be suppressed because there is no doubt that he’ll get it to the ground at some stage – Particularly if this fight goes any distance. I believe that the favourite for this bout must be "Painijyrä", Tallikone does have a chance – there is no doubt about that but I just don’t see a way out for this man should it go to the mat, with the slight reach advantage that the Challenger will have he might well be able to dictate the range of the fight and the more he frustrates the Champion, the more he can let go with his hands and relax – And if Syltty "Orhi" Tallikone begins to relax – We could well get that upset victory.

265: Co Main Event: "Wagner" Paha SIka (17-6-0) v Kalle Kujansuu (13-3-0)

Coming into the Co Main Event of NFC 110, "Wagner" Paha SIka has put together some seriously impressive displays recently, with two straight (T)KO finishes he’s looking like he’s ready to put together that run that his talents undoubtedly are capable of. A Sensational striker, with 61% of his career wins coming via this method there is no doubt “Wagner” is not the man you want to get yourself into a brawl with and this red Mo hawked Finn is uber aggressive and will have no problem swinging for the fences from the off should he think that’s in his interest. This fight also is a chance to right a wrong for “Wagner” as he lost to his opponent Saturday Night at NFC 94, as Kalle Kujansuu took him the distance and took down a close 29:28 Decision win. The key to that fight was the accuracy of the striking displayed by Kujansuu as he managed to punish “Wagner” for the amount of kicks that he missed with and landed punches to the body and head which effectively won him the bout. Will this fight go the distance though? I suspect not and with improved striking since that bout, boasting Exceptional Boxing and Strong Muay Thai and a dangerous record of 76% of his wins due to these assets I think we can look forward to both these guys coming forward a lot more than fighters have been recently – That can result in this one being the ‘Fight of the Night’ should that materialise. Kujansuu is coming off a pretty nasty (T)KO loss at NFC 105, and you wonder just how that will play out coming into this bout as there is a pretty fine line between one loss, and a loss of confidence and I am sure that’s something that Paha SIka will want to exploit considering he’s at the other end of the spectrum here. Both these men are pretty identical physically, and there is a good chance that with so much at stake we could see a mirror image of NFC 94, however I just don’t think it will happen this time around because neither of these guys is going to take it to the mat I believe and we’re due a real war in NFC shortly, this could well be it.

265: George McTrigger (10-1-0) v Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson (15-6-0)

Making his debut in NFC Saturday Night is George McTrigger, a recruit from Cú Chulainn Fighting League in London who is coming into Helskinki MMA with a huge name and six straight wins and this looks to be a huge addition to the NFC Heavyweight division as we have yet another massive bout due here at 265. With Sensational Wrestling and Brown grade BJJ it seems no doubt what McTrigger will want to do is take this one to the ground, and either submit or alternatively smother “Biffen” here tonight, whichever really comes easiest. With 30% of his career wins coming via Submission, his Brown belt comes into play for sure and despite being a relative newcomer to the MMA scene, he already has made big waves in his short career thus far. Although Saturday Night he faces arguably his toughest test to date as he takes on the wily NFC veteran and probably the unluckiest fighter in NFC, certainly the Heavyweight division Ludvig "Biffen" Landersson. Laundersson will not be worried about hitting the ground, with Brown grade BJJ of his own and no submission losses he’ll be very confident should that eventuality happen but with Sensational Boxing and 73% of his career wins coming from this method he’s going to want to keep this fight standing and keeping his good grappling talent in mind I think he’ll come out more aggressive here for sure – Will McTrigger be able to cope should “Biffen” pull the trigger? This one promises to be a real game of cat and mouse as McTrigger looks to keep out of distance, yet coax “Biffen” into throwing so he can stoop down and complete the takedown. It promises to be a really tough fight for both men and I think that McTrigger will be confident in kicking off his NFC career with a win here.

170: "The Barracuda" Dirk Zeldenthuis (13-1-0) v Felix Flashlighter (22-9-1)

Felix Flashlighter begins his trek to get back the Welterweight gold here as he makes his first appearance since losing that title at NFC 107. Formerly the number one Welterweight in the world, this man doesn’t need any introduction or hyping – Felix Flashlighter is a monster and absolutely nobody is going to want to face off against this man as he attempts to get back on track and get the bad feeling out here, but that is exactly what Dirk Zeldenthuis will have to do here at NFC 110. But "The Barracuda" is no fool, he’s won eight straight and with different timing, this could well have been for the title as make no mistake about it, this is two of the best Welterweights in the world clashing here. A former champion of Crashforce, "The Barracuda" undoubtedly is going to want to take this fight to the mat and use his Exceptional Wrestling and Black grade BJJ, Flashlighter is a very similar fighter and I think that this could be one of those highly technical affairs that both men will relish. Flashlighter has tasted defeat more times than Dirk Zeldenthuis, and with 88% of defeats coming by way of Decision, there is no doubt that if this fight goes the distance those odds aren’t in his favour – but has "The Barracuda" ever fought someone on Flashlighers level? There are so many variables in this bout and it is too hard to really analyse, these are two uber talented guys and this one simply comes down to tactics – This is one of those fights we should just sit down and appreciate for sure.

205: Mega "FAIL" Fredriksson (12-5-0) v Eric "88" Lindros (9-4-0)

205: Fiodor Stavrov (15-5-0) v Les "Bei Dem Knee" Grossman (12-6-1)

155: Frekkas Poop (17-5-1) v Valdemar "Mora" Friman (15-9-0)

265: "The Apocalypse" Kristof Nikitin (6-2-0) v Steen Christensen (9-6-0)

265: Hessu "Tupla-Hoo" Hopo (9-4-0) v Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (11-3-0)

265+: Artturi "Aiv" Virtanen (13-9-0) v Diaz\'s "Big Dick" Brothers (4-0-0)

NFC 110 - Post Event

265 lbs Mitchell Stehling defeated Syltty Tallikone TKO (Strikes) 1 01:52

Stehling had a whopping winning streak of nine fights in a row and he extended it to ten, with a solid performance against contender Syltty Tallikone, when the NFC Heavyweight title was on the line.

There were no need for the audience to break a sweat about this one, as it was a very clean and controlled fight from the champion. Tallikone would have prefered to keep the distance and use his superior reach, but Stehling didnt want to see anything of that, pushing Tallikone up against the cage from the beginning.

From there on it was just a downward slope for Tallikone who never managed to get out of the champions grip. Stehlings aggression, strength and accuracy paid off and I am pretty sure that Tallikone didnt enjoy the clinching clinic he found himself in.

The contender didnt last two minutes. After a couple of punishing shots to the body, Stehling switched levels and landed some brutal uppercuts to seal the deal.

A title defense in a most impressive manner and it seems like Stehling has his mind set on staying on the top for quite a while.

265 lbs Paha SIka defeated Kalle Kujansuu TKO (Kick & Punches) 2 01:38

Many suspected that this would be the most thrilling fight of the evening and it sure had the ingredients, but in the end it was a little bit to much of Paha Slka and a nod to little Kalle Kujanssu to raise this one to fight of the night-levels.

As many times before Slka relied on his quickness and controlled this fight both from range and up close and personal, in the clinch. His leg kicks was totally devastating for Kujansuus ambitions. He pushed on to turn the tide early in the second, but without power in the front leg and lacking some aim Slka had an easy job avoiding the onslaught, instead capitalizing upon it with a counter strike, that set it up for a truly spectacular finish, with a kick in the neck.

265 lbs Ludvig Landersson defeated George McTrigger Decision (Split) 3 05:00

Ludvig Landersson delivered the upset of the night when he defeated the highly hyped up-and-comer, George McTrigger, but the decision was a controversial one - to say the least. One judge gave it clearly to McTrigger, two a close call to Landersson.

McTrigger pushed the pace and was the more aggressive fighter through-out the fight and scored the only takedown in the fight. Landerson on the other side was a little bit more efficient with this punches, but I think that it was his takedown defense that gave thim the victory in the end.

170 lbs Felix Flashlighter defeated Dirk Zeldenthuis Decision (Unanimous) 3 05:00

Dirk Zeldenthuis had made quite an impact on the MMA-scene since he appeared out of nowhere last year. He carried a great looking CV with 13 wins and only one loss, oging into this one. Seasoned veteran Felix Flashlighter proved to be to much for Zeldenthuis in this one.

Key to success was Flashlighters aggression. Even if Zeldenthuis was the more accurate fighter, Flashlighter knew how to handle it and bring the judges over to his side.

His kicks probably won him the day and when Zeldenthuis brought the fight to the ground, Flashlighter handled it without much of a fuss.

205 lbs Eric Lindros defeated Mega Fredriksson TKO (Strikes) 1 02:37

Eric Lindros impressed the crowd with this performance against Mega Fredriksson. Lindros dominated every aspect of the fight, dealing quite some damage with this punches, adding some lethal kicks into the mix, and topped it with a flawless takedown defense.

The latter proved to be crucial to stop Fredriksson, but in the end it was the boxing skills that paid off. A couple of jabs and a left hook sealed the deal and Lindros finished it off from the mount, sending his opponent into never-ever-land.

205 lbs Les Grossman defeated Fiodor Stavrov Decision (Unanimous) 3 05:00

Why changing a winning concept? Les Grossman takes people down and beats them up, no surprise there. Les Grossman took Fiodor Stavrov down and - yes, you guessed it right - beat him up. The thing is that Grossman actually outperformed his opponent even in the standup in this fight and thus he could have kept it standing, and still secured the win. Spamming takedowns wont win him any new fans, the audience doesnt pay to see fighters hugging other fighters legs, but in the end it is quite efficient as long as you dont gas out.

Cudos to Stavrov for stuffing a whopping 18 takedown attempts.

155 lbs Valdemar Friman defeated Frekkas Poop Decision (Unanimous) 3 05:00

There is no surprises when it comes to Valdemar Friman, but he performs well and there aint many in this division that can tutor him in the art of the clinch. He didnt deal especially much damage from it, but he strangled Poops angles and hopes efficiently. The groundgame was pretty much even, but Friman was a tad more active even there and solidly outperformed Poop in most areas.

265 lbs Kristof Nikitin defeated Steen Christensen KO (Strikes) 2 02:02

Steen Christensen seemed a little bit off in this fight and didnt manage to bring much to the table. One takedown in each round was enough for Nikitin, that did what he had to do and with gusto. Eleven failed submission attempts was in under seven minutes was a little bit ridiculous, but the took his opponent down when he needed to and was by far the best fighter on the ground in this fight. This was a no-brainer.

Also on the card:

265 lbs Hessu Hopo defeated Johann Wolfgang von Goethe TKO (Strikes) 1 03:29

265+ lbs Diaz\'s Brothers defeated Artturi Virtanen Submission (Strikes) 1 01:32
