WhisperingDeath
PRIDE once again broke its own worldwide attendance record with a new MMATycoon paid attendance record of 4,630! The largest crowd in MMATycoon history turned out in Tokyo for the semi-finals of the PRIDE Heavyweight Grand Prix. The four undefeated fighters were matched up evenly on either side of the bracket. Both matches featured a straight BJJ player vs. a well rounded fighter. In both fights, the BJJ specialist won by submission. Li Fen (4-0) defeated Sandor Clegane (5-1) by guillotine choke and in the finals will face Hayatoshi Sakutara (4-0) who defeated Osanti Herod (5-1) by kimura. The grand finale looks to be a BJJ battle for the ages as these very well matched up purple belts give it their all! In the middleweight division, Nintendo Takada (4-0) easily dispatched of Yoto Haramushi by arm-triangle in the first-half of the first round. With the impressive victory Nintendo Takada has earned a shot at Tron Jones' (5-0 #9 worldwide ranked middleweight) title. With so many established heavyweights in PRIDE it is extremely difficult for a newcommer to make his name. But that is exactly what Fidel "Pinoy Savage" Puno (4-0) did in his PRIDE debut performance, knocking out his opponent in less than a minute! Heavyweights in PRIDE, you have been put on notice. In lightweight action, hazem el magic's (3-3) comeback from a failed title shot was spoiled by Taylor Jacobs who completely dominated the former lightweight challenger en route to a 2nd round arm triangle choke. Through 15 minutes of action Taylor piled up the points with strikes, takedowns, and sub attempts while el magic's only landed one single punch. Could Taylor Jacobs be the man to upset the #1 lightweight in the world, Dominique Samson (5-0)?

If you scout them, you'll how close will be this fight, can go either way! Looking forward this one, hope Hayatoshi take this, oblivious
